A medieval castle located among olive trees, offering a unique experience for those looking for some peace & quiet. Very friendly owners. There's a nice farm restaurant not far away, serving delicious bean soup. On the downside, some eggs would be nice at breakfast, which is rather simple. Also, the rooms are not easily accessible due to the character of this building - expect a lot of stairs :) no full size mirror but we didn't mind.

Well, we want to stay out of town one day and we found this perfect place. Even through your room is high up but there is a lift for your baggage. The view from the room is stunning and the room is perfect. The host is absolutely nice, with breakfast. Don't forget to ask about the restaurant, it is about 9km away and it is perfect as well. So I would aboslutely recommended here.

My wife and I stayed here a few nights during our honeymoon in 2006 and LOVED it. We stayed in the tower room which was SO cool to be able to look out the tower at the countryside and the rest of the castle! You have to go down to the next level to use the restroom which is a bit of an inconvenience but that's just a function of the 14th century architecture, not the b & b's. We'd take the long walk into town each evening to have dinner etc. The staff was VERY accommodating even to help check us out late at night! Truly wonderful!

Memories!!! We stayed July of 2021 thinking of all the places I have been this by far is my favorite. Old world charm, the castle, the owner, the breakfast with a amazing view that we will never forget. Our daughter stayed here in May 2022 she also loved it. We will be back next year.

Amazing place to stay. A real castle, but intimate. You can talk to the host, Nicola, who grew up in this castle and still lives here. My kids loved exploring one of the towers and the grounds. The breakfast was typical Italian- the pastries were warm and fresh. We loved it here.

This is the coolest castle... built in 1300s so it’s over 700 years old now... When you enter the castle, you almost feel you are in Game of Thrones reality. The rooms in the castle are stylish, comfortable and with amazingly modern facilities (dishwasher, washing machine, aircon, drinkable water pipe, new toiletries). Host Nicola is a very nice guy who explained all details about the castle, our room and route to town to us. The breakfast is fabulous as well... We had an unforgettable night in the castle and would highly recommend it! PS. Nicola also runs a local farm and a beautiful restaurant (4km from the castle, called Le Pierre Vive)... All the ingredients in the restaurant are locally grown... We will definitely come back!

Excellent. Wonderful family and wonderful building. For all the others comments, it almost 1000 years old. There are not going to be modern amenities. Get over it. For a very old awesome castle this is a really cool place to stay. Just know you are going to a castle. They’re family restaurant about 4km away is wonderful as well. Incredible food.

One of the best experiences that I had on my trip to Italy. Nicola was the perfect host. One of the highlights was to go to the family farm restaurant, excellent food! I looking forward to returning, Lord willing!!
