Pescaia di San Niccolò is a short stone's throw from the very busy and extremely crowded historical center of Florence. It's great to come here to escape the crowds. You can get your feet wet by walking onto the embankment of the river or do some suntanning, a favorite activity for many who visit this location.

Ideal place for a snack in the greenery near the river, away from cars. The area could be redeveloped and better maintained, putting in some tables and benches so as to avoid sitting directly on the grass

Unfortunately for me, during the summer there are outdoor venues, so there is no space left for walks 😞

Nothing special......we only go there on June 24th to see the Fires of San Giovanni

The long Arno is a pleasant place of distraction and tranquility, in summer the river is not exactly full and at night it seems to be monitored for water reserves...

A beautiful riverside walk way next to the falls. The stone absorbs heat from the sun -- perfect place for sun worshipers to relax!
