I have been in the cigar shop on Oracle a few times shopping for my husband. I know nothing about cigars and was originally told by my husband to just talk with the employees and they can help me find what I’m looking for. Every time I have gone in there has been one specific employee working every time. Anytime I needed help or asked a question I was met by abrupt annoyance by this employee. My last visit there I was shopping for specific cigars for a birthday. I approached this gentleman and asked for help. Instead of helping me, I was told “if we have any, they would be in there” and he would just point and then turn back to a conversation he was previously having with another gentleman sitting on their couch puffing on a cigar; a conversation I evidently interrupted. My husband enjoys the cigars but I don’t appreciate the rudeness and complete lack of customer service when I’m paying this specific company money. It’s like paying an employee to be rude to you. From now on I will be spending my money on a different company who actually values their customers and helps them find what they need!

My last visit will be today. Great cigars, but one bad attitude has ruined it for me. The person working the register does not want to be bothered with looking for specific cigars. Have been going there for over a year started out going once a week spending at least 50.. even purchased boxes. One employee just has attitude if I ask for assistance. Over the past few months I've went in less, and less cause this is only employee I run into. I've never once been rude only asked for specific cigars because its what im craving. Well today I was told that what they have is different than what they sell NEXT DOOR for online. I prefer to support local, but I just cannot do it anymore especially with so many online vendors that offer a great experience with added bonuses. I understand the entire industry is lacking in supply due to some growth issues last year. This is not excuse to treat a regular customer who prefers to smoke at home like this.

Not very friendly. Felt like I was a bother. I still made a purchase but wasn't told how much the item I was buying was going to cost. As for a recommendation on some cigars. The clerk asked how much we wanted to pay, picked out 2 cigars but didn't tell us anything about them. Paid the bill and left. Hopefully the other locations have friendlier staff. Disappointed.

Well stocked, well kept product. Friendly enough albeit less so than the other location i visited but i imagine im not what oro Valley is accustomed to seeing in their enclave where the only brown is the dirt apparently. Honestly its not uncommon at most tobacconists for me to get sideways looks though and this was mostly customers and not employees at least. I think the associate was worn out rather than deliberately dismissive, however. I know a lot about fine tobacco: itd be nice for once not to get mean mugged by some middle aged former business major in boat shoes who couldn't tell the difference between lgc and a partagas black if the labels were removed.

My friend and I went in to find a father's day gift. The gentleman was very helpful and friendly. As we had no idea about cigars or what was good he accommodated us by hand selecting an assortment of cigars as well as a box for them. He included matches and a cigar cutter in the deal as well, at no cost to us! He answered all questions and educated us on prper storage of the product! Great customer service!

I recently made an online purchase from Anthony's Emporium, when I opened my package and inspected the cigars I noticed it was not the ones that I ordered. I called them up to explain the situation and the employee I was talking to (sorry can't remember his name) was very apologetic. After looking at inventory they did not have the cigars in stock that I originally ordered. After discussing it over he referred a few other sticks and even though they were at a higher price then what I paid for he was willing to accommodate due to the mistake. I made a decision on the cigars and they told me they would get them shipped out. I just received my package today, not only did they expedite the shipping , they also through in a few extra sticks as well! Anthony's went above and beyond and I can see that customer service is a top priority for them. I will definitely be back. Thanks Anthony's Cigar Emporium!

I must have met the same guy as set16 and purplelilly. I’m new to cigars and was really looking forward for some advice on what to choose. I must have interpreted his daily duties and was taken to the humidor and was basically told this is what we have. Haven’t gone back and probably won’t. I’ll stick to buying online and going elsewhere.

Great customer service! Very informative staff and helpful! Staff recommended some cigars on the table in front of the check out counter and we were pleased by the selection! Too g d expensive anymore for the same g d cigars I was buying previously. Same old interior. Nothing new or particularly interesting. Staff were meh!
