Truly enjoyed it visit to the Arizona Folklore Preserve to see The Ronstadt Brothers. It was it first visit and I'm sure it won't be the last. The venue was great because it was an intimate setting, not a seat in house. The Brothers were amazing. I really enjoy how they shared stories between songs. It was a relaxing afternoon.

Interesting place.with an eclectic collection of media on sale. Some issues of Arizona Highways date from 50 years ago! Nice people with a small venue for regional performances. Worth dropping by if you're in the area.

The AZ Folklore Preserve is one of those hidden nuggets in our local area. They offer live entertainment some 44 weeks out of the year (closed in July and August). Every Saturday and Sunday, at 2:00, they bring the best talent from around the country to perform. Whenever I have guests, I take them to the Preserve where they will experience some top-notch entertainment in a marvelous setting. The building seats around 75 and you are in a home setting with your entertainer(s). It is a family show and you can take the kids. You cannot find better entertainment anywhere for $15.00 (adults) and $6.00 for children. If you haven’t been, check them out and then you too will have a great “secret place” to take your guests!

Beautiful setting, excellent acoustics. Specializes in Western and cowboy culture music. We have gone many times and the entertainers were outstanding 80 to 90% of the time. Unique venue, only open Saturdays and Sundays. I have attended concerts there 15 to 20 times and will continue to go almost every weekend.

Awesome venue for music. Excellent acoustics, intimate environment (seating is limited to 40). Seating is around tables so very comfortable. Snacks and beverages available and can be brought in to the table. Exceptionally friendly volunteer staff. Gift shop with huge collection of western music. Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this visit and would return in a heartbeat.

Western music, the cowboy storytelling type. Award winning musicians. Fun for the whole family. Beautiful area, in Ramsey Canyon. Great venue, with a gift shop, snack bar, and friendly volunteers. There's even a raffle at intermission to win prizes, just for coming!

This place is a hidden gem which my wife and I just discovered. Aside from the quality of the music and the intimacy of the room, what we especially appreciated was that the audience was fully attentive and respectful. NOBODY TALKED. It's a rare thing these days where you can go to hear live music and not have your experience spoiled by selfish, inconsiderate people who are mainly there to socialize and/or party. Special props to the Dry Wash Anglers. If you're a bluegrass fan, you need to check them out if you don't know them already. If you're not a bluegrass fan, they might turn you into one.
