It's challenging at best with construction and remodeling. Many cars have gotten damaged and flat tires, which Lucas uses as an excuse when you report it. It is impossible to get a response from Lucas. Even emails on the portal and voice messages left at the office are not responded to. He claims he has been too busy to check them. I am still awaiting the status of my repairs I need for my car and the best trick used now in the office is avoidance. It upsets me that rent has increased almost 50% with only cosmetic changes, with the exception of fireplaces being removed but chimneys kept in place - maybe to give the illusion from the street of a community with fireplaces? Bottom line, not much credibility with the Lucas. Unsure about the staff as I have only dealt with Patrice who I don't think is there any longer. The "avoidance tactic" doesn't sit well with me and many others in the community. Just adding so you know: I moved 6 weeks ago and tried to speak with Lucas for like 4 days even leaving a message with Yvette, who has no people skills, and Lucas would not return my call *****UNTIL*******. you leave a bad review. He will call back right away when you leave a bad review....NOTE TO SELF!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful from afar until you live here for 3 months. The constant construction is very irritating. We were told they were finished renovating when we moved in which was a lie. It’s been ongoing for months. The bug problem is awful. Anytime it rains, black beetles come crawling from underneath the baseboards.. it’s not just some, but A LOT. Just recently more bugs have appeared. I wish I could pin point where they are coming from. We were informed this apartment recently was renovated from the service repair worker and it showed because majority of the outlets do not work and he had to come fix the refrigerator because it randomly shut off. The baseboards don’t meet the flooring which I thought was weird and that’s where I also noticed the bugs loved to disappear under which was very unsettling. I hope these issues get corrected once we leave because it’s sad to see people pay so much for something that appears to be perfect.

So many great things to share about this community! Beautiful, newly renovated clubhouse and gym. The new apartments are very spacious, it feel like you are in a house! The staff is AMAZING!!!!! Lucas, Jose and Victor are by far some of the BEST people I have met in Tucson. You will love your new home and neighbors!

Cortland North Tucson apartments is a great place to live! It has some recently renovated apartments that look absolutely gorgeous inside and are very spacious too! The location is great as its close to all the necessary places (restaurants, libraries, groceries, shops, mall, theatre, parks, schools, etc.) within 10-15 minutes drive; its also not very far from downtown Tucson. The renovated apartments have modern amenities, new/modern kitchen countertops, brand new appliances, nice big windows, balconies, and the community is very well maintained. We moved here about 2 months ago and the community manager and his team of maintenance staff have been prompt in responding to all my maintenance requests and ensuring that our stay is pleasant and comfortable. Cortland also has a general customer-relations department which took care of all my concerns and was very quick in fulfilling all my requests to ensure that we were comfortable and happy living here. Because of their excellent customer service, I am very pleased with them and want to them a 5-star review :-)

I would give 6 stars if I could - Lucas did a fantastic job, going above and beyond to answer questions that I had prior, and addressed in further detail at later conversations. He was incredibly amenable, knowledgeable, and personable. This was a great experience that helped solidify my decision towards renting at this facility.

We recently moved into one of the renovated units which has brand new stainless steel appliances, beautiful countertops, high ceilings, and very spacious rooms. I have loved having access to the new community infrared grill and fitness center. Lucas the property manager is proactive in making sure that we are comfortable in our apartment however the maintenance turnaround is very slow. There are smokers in some units regardless of this being a smoke free community.

Lived here since pre-cortland. The renovations to the common areas took some time but were highly worth it. The fitness center is state-of-the-art, the new pool area is beautiful. The units themselves are incredibly roomy and post-rennovations have the most beautiful granite countertops and stainless appliances. Maintenance requests are answered very promptly for having a small maintenance crew (that always have a great attitude). Lucas is a fantastic property manager that does a great job balancing the day-to-day rental problems as well as coordinating the large amount of renovations on-going.

I enjoy living at this complex. Grounds are always clean and well maintained. The amenities are good-missing the pool though due to renovations. There are a lot of scheduled evens if you interested in that type of thing.
