Extraordinary tour and phenomenal experience of the beauty of nature which we had the pleasure to experience during the Lombok Forest Tour with Ikbal, who is one of a kind person and amazing tour guide. Back to the roots and getting first hand natural goods to try and taste. This tour has one kind of a cause - supporting the β€žYou care - we shareβ€œ charity!

I can 100% recommend the Lombok Forest Tour to everyone! You learn very interesting things such as about cashew nuts, prepare a delicious curry, hike through the jungle...accompanied by a super great guide who uses part of the income for charitable purposes in Lombok (e.g. care for the elderly). Thank you very much for this great day with fabulous people!!!

Beautiful trek through the forest, foraging aspect was super interesting. Delicious lunch prepared for us as we watched the process of making palm sugar/coffee by hand. Excellent way to spend an afternoon whilst visiting Lombok!

I had an amazing experience when I came to Lombok for the Forest Tour. We saw a lot of different kinds of food, tasted them and also had lunch. Ikbal and his friends are amazing people, a great community, that is also providing food for the elderly in the village. If you want to see monkeys in the nature, then you'll see it while visiting this forrest. 5/5

We had a very interesting time with Ikbal in the jungle! He knows a lot about the local plants and you get an authentic insight into the work of the people in the village. The Papaya Cirry was also super delicious! Thank you again :)

The tour with Ikbal was great! Mostly because he is a really great guy and makes the tour fun. He took me and my family (we have 4 kids, between the age 5-13) and made the tour also fun for then with magical leaves and tasting fruit along the way. After a nice walk (1,5 hour) we got to help make lunch with all the fruit and vegetables (and herbs) from the forest. Even the kids loved the papaya curry. And even more: the caramel made from brown sugar. And not to forget: the baked banana. We enjoyed it very much. Especially our youngest of 5, who got to ride on Ikbal’s back when we had to climb a more steep part of the forest. If you love nature, like to go on a nice hiking trip and eat great food with a very knowledgeable and nice guy, I highly recommend this trip with Ikbal. We will be back Ikbal!

We had an amazing time. Everyone was really kind, from King Ikbal to the family that hosted us and cooked with us. A really good experience to harvest food and learn with local people about the forest. Highly recomended.

This was a unique and great experience! Enjoyed every moment and person who we met during this tour 😊 We ate the best curry ever, freshly cooked in the middle of jungle πŸ‘ thanks to sir Ikbal for welcoming us in his community!

I can only recommend the forest tour with Ikbal 😊 This is easily doable even in the rainy season. You learn a lot about your homeland and it is lovingly farmed πŸ™πŸΌ

We've had an awesome experience with Ikbal and his community! He introduced us to the harvesting and cooking techniques and even introduced us to his family. Great fun to play soccer with the kids to round off the trip. Highly recommended!

We had a great time with Ikbal who informed us well about the wild flora and gave us lots of information about the country and the local population. The staff was super friendly. I recommend it to those who love nature and contact with the local population.

We had a great time on the forest tour and would highly recommend! Ikbal speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable about all the different plants and fruit he points out on your walk through the jungle. It's fab to do with kids - we did it with our 2.5 year old - and the workers really got him involved helping roast coffee beans, cutting wood and stirring the sugar water - he almost didn't want to leave. Note that it involves a fair amount of walking into (and later out of) the jungle, so would recommend wearing closed shoes and if you're doing the tour with toddlers, have a way of safely carrying them when they ultimately decide they no longer want to walk πŸ˜‰ we used our ergobaby carrier to back carry our toddler. All in all the tour was about 5 hours long and filled with beautiful nature, yummy food and interesting conversations about Indonesia - absolutely worth it!
