Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who were very accommodating. Great location within walking distance to the Aquarium. 4 stars because the indoor pool is not completely enclosed and half is open to the outside. This should be more widely advertised, as we chose this specific Hampton for the pool so our kids could swim on a cold winter night when it was in the 20s. This caused the water to be colder than it should have been.

Wonderful place to stay when visiting downtown Chattanooga for the Riverbend Festival over the weekend. Close to everything with safe, cheap parking. Room was clean and cooled to perfection when we arrived. Pool was warm and inviting. Breakfast was good and even got a small refund on checking out.

LOVED this hotel. The location was perfect for my family. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do (Aquarium, Children's Museum, restaurants, ice cream, gift shops). The staff was incredibly helpful and personable. Especially the manager that was on duty while we were there. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we have had in a long time. The pool was perfect for my little ones. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Excellent rooms, location is great with plenty restaurants and sights within walking distance. Service could have been better, particularly the breakfast can be a bit too much fried stuff. Fruit, cheese, ham, etc. would make a good addition and could bring the breakfast up to the same standard as the rest of the hotel.

Spent night here to make an early morning appointment in Chattanooga. Hotel was excellent. Clean, well furnished two queen room. Courteous staff, and a large breakfast selection of good food. Parking available on premises for $10 per night while staying there. Only one defficiency: no electrical plug handy to the bedside table. Most hotels have a plug in the bedside lamp, but not here. Besides this, all good!

Great location. Stopped for a night and walked around with 3 kids. Lots of restaurants, activities and general attractions available. Kids wanted to stay an extra day to explore again. Didn't even have a chance to hit the pool.

Spacious suite. Clean. Friendly and responsive staff. Free breakfast was nice. Multiple food options. Enjoyed the belgian waffles. Had to make them yourself, but yummy and free. Close to many attractions. Only used my car 2 or 3 times to get around. Parking at hotel was $10/night added to the hotel bill. Downtown area was charming. Wasn't too crowded during our stay. We enjoyed our stay.

I was disappointed in the room. The rooms were dated and didn't support technology well. It was difficult to find an outlet in my room. There were no USB ports. That was really inconvenient. I saw what I thought was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The breakfast area did not accommodate all of the people that were trying to crowd in. I did think the breakfast food options were good. The seating area is poorly designed. The signage in the parking areas was poor. It was a challenge to park for check-in. Finally, they did not allow me to do a late check-out and I had to drive back to Nashville to catch a flight late in the day. So it made for a really long day. I realize all of these things I've mentioned are due to poor management. The staff there were absolutely lovely people. I like to stay in Hilton properties. There are several options in Downtown Chattanooga. So for the price, I think I'll choose a different one next time.

Being a germaphobe staying in a hotel is very hard for me. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I chose it specifically for the fact that they have wood and/or laminate floors which makes it easier to sanitize and for me to clean and sanitize as well to my liking. Bathrooms are another sore subject when it comes to hotels. This shower was pristine. Trust me, I examine everything and this passed with flying colors. We will for sure be staying here again.

The staff are super friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in the process of a remodel -the room we stayed in had damaged fixtures and peeling wallpaper but would probably be great after remodel. There were construction workers hanging socializing in hallway for an hour or 2, made vibe awkward. Great location, walking distance to many attractions. I probably wouldn't stay here again but not bad for a weekend trip.

First, the hotel is under renovation, so there is evidence of it everywhere. However, we weren't given that info when we made our reservation. The 3-star rating is for that reason AND the truth that they charge $10 a day to park in the Hotel lot. Next, it is centrally located, which means everything is within walking distance. It is a 5-minute walk to the Tennessee Aquarium. The room was small but clean. All of the linen and towels are WHITE which was disconcerting for me - it must be post-toddler- trauma. The fridge and microwave were small. And the shower door fell onto me... smh. I don't recommend this hotel until after renovations are finished. We left a day early because they had to turn the water off for at least 5 hours. All employees were very nice and the breakfast was more than Danish and cereal. I chose to not take pictures because of the work in progress.

The hotel was clean, staff was professional and personable. It makes a difference! It was also decorated really nice for Christmas. Breakfast was good. Not sure sweet rolls, but a good breakfast with healthy options. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, this was an okay stay. I stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days for a work trip. The location was the best part of the hotel as it is right off the highway and near everything that Downtown Chattanooga has to offer. As this was my first time in the city I was excited to stay here. I had a room with a King bed for my stay. I was on the 5th floor, totally fine but not much of a view. The free daily breakfast was alright. The eggs were bland and sat in water most of the time in the dish before you served yourself. There weren't too many options but it did the job while I was there. I did opt to go to the Starbucks down the street one morning instead. I asked for extra pillows as I love to sleep with multiple at home. They were brought up to my room but not very comfy, not like you expect hotel pillows to be. Some were very flat and not soft and airy as I had hoped/expected. The parking was pretty lackluster as finding a spot was difficult once in the "garage" and the spots were all very tiny. The $10 a DAY charge was a little extreme as it's not even guaranteed you will have a spot when you're paying for it! I had a terrible toilet in my hotel room bathroom. It would flush when it wanted. Sometimes if I got up in the middle of the night to use it, I wouldn't be able to flush it until the morning when I was getting ready! The toilet would just raise water and then sit there at times. Very inconvenient. All in all, my stay was okay and it did the job but I will definitely shop around for other options next time I come to the area.

Location was extremely clean, room was great, staff was great. My reason for not rating this a 10 is because of the major lack of sufficient parking and the fact that they need new pillows. If I am going to get charged an additional $10 per night for parking, I expect to easily find a place to park at all times. This hotel have an upper and lower level for parking but very limited spots to park in which in my eyes is a big deal. I shouldn't have to look for parking elsewhere when I am paying for parking. Additionally, the pillows had zero amount of filling in them which is a shame because the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I think with these two things resolved, this is an easy 10.

Had a great over-night stay on our little family get away to Chattanooga. The location is perfect and you can walk just about anywhere in the downtown area. There was some construction going on but that didnโ€™t really bother us at all. The room was really nice. My kids called it โ€œfancyโ€. Breakfast in the morning was great, too! Appreciate the staff that prepared it for us.. as well as the rest of the staff who were very kind. Definitely recommend if youโ€™re in Chattanooga.

Great location we could walk pretty much everywhere. Everyone we talked to at the hotel was super friendly and helpful. We did not have any issues with the parking lot. One of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed at. The pool is not huge but fun for our kid. Nice patio to sit out on as well. Would definitely stay there again!

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Loud traffic noise in the early evening. Great bourbon selection at the bar and the hot cookies at checkin were great. Rooms were clean but hard flooring tended to echo sounds. They do not offer shuttle service to the airport. Paid parking deck attached to hotel. Limited charging outlets near night stand but plenty on desk.

Very nice hotel. Good amenities!! Clean rooms. But be warned, paid to park, $18 on top of the price of the room. And had to search for a parking spot. Probably better off to park elsewhere. The parking alone made my review be less. Very aggravating and not explained by the office staff. Road noise is very loud, rooms could be better sound insulated.

A lot of mixed reviews, but overall this is a nice hotel. We came here in a family getaway with my mother and two of my cousins and their husbands. Each stated, including us that our rooms were clean. The breakfast was good and there were a variety of options. All the staff was friendly and nice and the pool are was clean as well. The location is great in downtown Chattanooga and within walking distance of the aquarium, restaurants, and bars.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here and I was super impressed with both the staff and the hotel itself. Shout out to Karie for her great service! The room was super clean as was the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was good too. They served biscuits and gravy one morning. I expected the biscuit to be hard but it was super soft. Overall one of my favorite stays at a Hampton Inn. Would stay here again 100%!!! Our room was quiet too.

Overall stay was okay. We had to request sheets, towels and wash cloths. No clock in room other than on TV that continued to freeze off and on during our stay. They are renovating the hotel but the noise from the street was far worse than anything they were doing inside. The wall outlet in the bathroom was found under the towel rack. We located outlet after putting our wet towels on and thought it was not the safest place for an outlet when then there is a wall across next to the shower that would be a better spot. The blankets we were given had holes all in them. There was a coffee stand base with no coffee pot. The staff here is great and one of the main reasons I would return if we did come back.

Had a great stay. Enjoyed fitness center, pool and breakfast. Only things that would have made it better is more surface area in the room, and if not that another seating option. There was lots of opened and unused space.

Everyone we encountered were warm and welcoming. The room was clean and had nice cold air. The room could also accommodate families with more than 2 children. Breakfast was a nice variety for everyone to choose something. The pool was an indoor/ outdoor so we could swim in all kinds of weather. Beautiful outdoor seating area. Downtown and close to the childrenโ€™s museum, the pedestrian bridge, restaurants, stores, pinball place, and more. Canโ€™t speak highly enough about our experience here. We enjoyed it so much that we stopped a week later on our way back home!

It was okay for a quick little Valentine's weekend getaway. I used some Honors points so that made what I paid more palatable. The hotel was under construction and the 3rd floor was as high as we could get. We had a wonderful view of the parking lot... We usually stay at the Courtyard Marriott or SpringHill Suites with a balcony and river view, so this particular room was a bit disappointing. I'll keep them in rotation because I love Hilton and Hampton Inn, but it will likely be a next to last resort. Oh, forgot to mention, there were no USB charging ports! In 2022 - no charging ports. However, they're able to turn the cable/TV off as soon as you check out online, so make sure you're really gone if you check out via the app.

Staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Brittney at the front desk was awesome. Room was nice, bed comfortable, temperature setting was cool in the heat of the summer, Internet for late night TV was not good. Buffering continuously. Pool was very nice but small with un attended children so we didnโ€™t get to enjoy it at all. Location was great walking distance to attractions. Breakfast was the average continental style, nothing to brag about. We felt after paying over $350 for our room parking should have been compensated but it was $10. Overall we enjoyed our stay and can recommend.

Scott went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience! Front desk agent that checked us in last night was so helpful and accommodating. She made sure we had everything we needed for our 3 year old. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

We are already planning a trip back! The rooms have everything you need & feel cozy like a bedroom. The general manager Scott made our day. After stopping by the front desk to ask a question we struck up a conversation with this kind gentleman & told him we extended our stay because fell in love with Chattanooga. Scott gave us hiking recommendations & we were not disappointed. It made our trip special having a hidden gem to go to thanks to a local. If youโ€™re reading this Scott, North Chick was a blast for our little family!! Have fun on your future road trip. Weโ€™ll see ya soon!

Great hotel, wonderful location and excellent staff! Ashlee is an intelligent conversationalist that pours great drinks at the bar! Front desk check in was easy, flawless and staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms are comfortable and very clean with all our needs being met! Highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again when visiting Chattanooga!

Thank you Scott (the GM), David (Sales Director) and the entire team (Zach and others , you too) there at the Hampton Inn Chattanooga. We are so incredibly grateful for your kindness and hospitality during the week we were there with you. My son and his wife chose to have their wedding in their newly adopted home of Chattanooga. This meant friends and family from 16 states would be embarking on the city the weekend before Thanksgiving for a wedding. Great location with its walk ability and distance to rehearsal (in the city) and wedding venue (outside the city). Also, loved the newly renovated rooms, concierge space that we utilized for pre and post party gatherings, the pool area and breakfast. Having a good size lobby for all to gather and see was wonderful. Itโ€™s much larger than others in the area as we looked. They even helped arranged charging for our new EV car (thank you) . Think the most incredible part for us was how pet friendly it was. Having recently lost our beloved family pet, our other fur baby (a senior pet) joined us and was welcomed with smiles by the staff and other pet loving guests there that week . My sister and brother in law from Florida were also able to bring their senior dog along, which was a relief following the hurricane which they had been impacted by recently in Florida. We were blessed with a wonderful wedding and you all there made it so much better with your kindness! Thank you thank you thank you

Good Hampton Inn in downtown Chattanooga. Well placed for easy access throughout the area. In good shape with nice staff and amenities. Parking is available at the lot adjacent for a nominal $10.00 a night fee. Bed was generally good, albeit not perfect. Pillows were essentially sheets and could be better.

Great place for families. The suites are spacious. Breakfast had a good variety and plenty of table space. The staff seemed very friendly. The pool area is great. The location is excellent for being in the heart of it all.

Hotel in general was decent. We liked that it was close to several of the downtown attractions we planned to visit. Even had several restaurants within walking distance. Stayed here 4 nights with my family and we enjoyed everything the hotel offered but there is one major exception. Parking at this hotel was the absolute worst I have ever experienced. If you drive anything larger than a small SUV you will be struggling at this hotel. I drove a Ram 1500 and parking was almost impossible. Parking alone will ensure I never stay at this hotel again. The worker at the front counter even made comments on how bad it was.

I left my toiletries bag by accident in my room and the staff called me right away and made sure it was shipped to me asap. I spoke with Alex a couple times, and she was SO helpful!! There was an Iron Man competition going on the same time we were there so the hotel and surrounding area was very busy but overall, it was clean and was a great location for all the things to do downtown. This is a VERY clean city!

We love this place to stay when we go to Chattanooga for our weekend getaways. They're clean and comfortable and I enjoy their coffee and breakfast too. Their staff have always been so friendly and helpful. Even giving ideas of where some good places to visit without us asking just because they're so nice. We didnt get to stay there last time because they were doing some renovations, so we're going there soon and looking forward to it. I would definitely recommend this place.
