Located at Ulubari, Azads is one of the best family restaurant in Guwahati. If you are a food lover you should definitely visit this place. Food is just amazing. It's very spacious and ambience is really nice. Service is also top notch. In all I had a great time.

Interior is quite beautiful and luxurious with ample amount of space for dine-in. Underground car parking is available on the same building. Food was delicious and was served on time. Overall a good experience and a must visit place.✔

The food was average. The mutton biriyani was not upto expectation. The chicken biriyani was worth a try. The full plate of biryani doesn't contain an egg. This was a surprise though. Also the biriyani was quite dry unlike most of the places but you can have it with the raita they provide. I will prefer the chicken biriyani to mutton biriyani accounting to the size of meat and the rice. I also tried masala laccha paratha with butter chicken, chicken lababdar and with chicken kola puree which made an incredible combination. Please have a try of this! Speaking of the atmosphere, it was phenomenal and very spacious. The staff provided good service. The menu is attached below for your convenience. Azad’s is a great restaurant to try out Indian, Mughal cuisine. They have an eclectic menu and is one of the very few restaurants with a calm ambience and soothing music. Staff members are very polite and are always willing to ensure that your needs are satiated. Food was alright, I think the cheese naan was mind blowing along with the chicken reshmi masala and chicken tikka. Vegetable pulao was fine but not too extraordinary. Rumali roti was soft and fulfilling. Chicken biryani was good too. It is a mid-range restaurant with lots of space and positive energy, I would recommend food lovers of Guwahati to try once.

This place was clean, staff was well behaved, food was good. We went during puja, so only select items were available and a separate puja menu was there.

A 5-star experience. It was so unbelievably good. We went there to try the Murgh Musallam, recommended by a friend who described it as 'heavenly'. After trying it out myself, I can say he was right. It was an explosion of flavors in my mouth! The chicken was so majestically seasoned. Quantity is more than enough for 3 people. I totally loved it. The interiors are just stunning, as expected from a restaurant of this caliber. Service was great, the person who served us was polite and well spoken. The food prices are justified. I'm already planning my next visit! If you ever plan to visit, do try the Murgh Musallam. It's worth every rupee.

I made a good decision by choosing this place. The ambience posh, cool and calm. The service was best i would say the staffs were so efficient and attentive. Now talking abt the food, it was delicious. The tandoori chicken was moist and delicious, the quantity of biryani was huge enough to fill 2 people but its served without eggs and contains one pc chicken. The mocktail were good too.. guava merry is one that is a must try. The prices of all items are reasonable to the service they provide.

The ambience was postive, sitting area was huge and spacious with top and ground floor sitting. Briyani that we ordered was decent, not the best in Guwahati but was overall nice, but the chicken kabab,Lassi and the gravy item was top class one of the best I can say. Overall a decent place to have your lunch or dinner with family or friends. 🧡

5 star treatment in an affordable rate. The service was top notch they even brought lukewarm water at the end of our meal for us to wash our hands which was something I haven't experienced anywhere else. So yes, if you have to treat your family this is the best place to be at.

Hands Down the best mughlai food I've had in all of Guwahati. They have some delicious and savory food!! I have tried Afgani Pulao, Butter Chicken, Butter Naan, Chicken Tengri Kebab, Sahi Tukra and Oreo Chocolate Mocktail. The food was phenomenal and reasonably priced. It's not just dining, but an amazing experience of the ambiance and decor was upscale.

I am always in search of good Briyanis and Azad restaurant is definitely one. Loved the flavors, the taste and the fusion of the briyani. We ordered the special mutton briyani and we never regretted our choice. The quantity is so very good, the mutton pieces are so tender and juicy and the best part is it is served with potato and egg. We also ordered the Tandoori Chicken Butter Masala and that was so very delicious, flavorful and juicy. I highly recommend this place and our server Mr.Sahil Haque was a gem, knows his work so very well. He advised us with the menu and guided us so well. I also like to thank one more lady server but I totally forgot to ask her name, she was so sweet and attentive really love how girls are doing so well in their jobs. A must place to visit for all Briyani lovers.

Visited this place seeing google reviews and we totally loved it. Moidul Islam served us and we can't help but mention his 5star service. The food they serve is basically Indian and it is good. Price is reasonable. The ambience is minimalistic,spacious and classy. Moidul made our experience very pleasant.

Good place to be with family. The food is yummy. The desserts are reasonable and yummy. Forgot to take food pictures, as couldn't resist after looking at the food.

Ordered mutton special biryani that was very good, perfect taste. In veg Kadai panner was not good. Also aloo dum was like just put some boiled potatoes in some gravy , no taste. Butter nun was also hard not soft as before. Service was also very late I needed to wait till 45 minutes. Restaurant location ambiance is good as always just need to work on service and veg items also

It was my first experience at Azad's, and it was worth mentioning. Service was fast and quick, food was delicious and yummy. We ordered murgh makhani, naan and lime soda and we loved it all. Price is also reasonable. The place is beautifully designed and spacius. Overall a must visit place with family and friends.

I love how minimal the interiors are. The chairs are comfortable. Coming to the food, we tried the vegetarian north indian cuisine which was good overall. Dal Makhani was amazing. Malai Kofta was not that great and so was the Roomali Roti. The Masala Khulcha was eat-able. However, the service is pretty fast. Also, Pina colada was really good. I think it is a must try restaurant specially for non-vegetarian food.

Very elegant ambience. Great service, a good fine dine for Guwahati. But food taste is quite generic when compared to price. A more curated menu is expected, uniqueness in taste is missing. Overall it was a good experience for Guwahati.

Food is great. But the waiters will just wait there until you take the last bite so that they can clean it up fast even if other tables are empty and no one is waiting. I guess they are advised by higher authorities as such.

I went to the restaurant on an impromptu early dinner with friends and tried the mutton biriyani which was really delicious. The mutton was incredibly juicy and moist, and every grain of rice in the biriyani had an equal amount of flavor. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant for a romantic evening with your special someone as well as a family supper.
