This place is funded by the county of San Mateo for inmates when they are released from jail if they are homeless and have nowhere to go . But the people that work there are very rude . They always are all up in your area . If you smoke cigarettes and go outside the property to smoke they still bother you . I thought they would be happy that people are NOT smoking in their rooms . But nope, not the people here. They are never welcoming and treat people very poorly . If you need an extra towel , be prepared for a few questions as to why an extra towel is necessary . People that work here should find another job because it's obvious they are miserable.. I would not refer this place for a hotel stay . Go somewhere else because this place is underfunded and has the bare-minimal of anything

Under remodelling, way over priced for the kind of motel. Rooms were clean and free of smells, at least, and there was a mini fridge/microwave combo, but the phone requires a down payment to use, the TV was unusable, and the fan in the bathroom, which was so loud as to be headache-inducing and audible through the wall into the next room, was tied to the bathroom light, and therefore activated every time the light was needed. Management was able to replace the dial controlling the temperature in the mini fridge, which was missing, whole we were out, but was subsequently unable to enter our room to close a window we accidentally left open or to check our room for something we left behind after we checked out. Moderately helpful. Overall, a decent enough place to sleep if you're in a pinch, but fairly bad overall and completely overpriced.

Budget motel with friendly guy. Easy access to public transit, quiet even on busy street. Target and shopping is across the street.

The Capri Hotel, with its grim atmosphere, is plagued by an infestation of pests, creating an unsettling environment. The presence of questionable individuals adds to the aura of a place that has fallen on hard times.

This place is terrible. There isnt ANY thing positive to be said about it. Rooms/service/rates BAD BAD BAD As a bonus bad when the office closes in middle of the night but is lit up like open and people from street come to try and get a room the bell they ring is a loud buzzer heard through the whole property. Scary if your asleep.

Absolute rudest, service ever at a hotel. Car broke down and I walked to them because the sign said vacancy, she said no. I booked it online, she double charged us, holed in the upper level walkway floors, dirty room with beds from the 70's and no courtesy toiletries and 1 towel in a double bed room. Stay away from this over price dump!

It is in the perfect location and street for business. All you need is in close proximity to you. The rooms are decently made. I've suggested the Capri to several people who in turn did the same. So worth the stay. Try it!

Horrible hotel! Discriminate against service animals horrible service. Drugs was found in the bathroom. The lady in the front didn't care of anything that was happening in the complex except about my two service dogs and my fiance service dog. Rooms are horrible mold everywhere couldn't even shower all that came out was black water which was gross

The only thing this place has going for it is the location and price. In my opinion, the room was very dirty and not clean. A strong odor that made it hard for me to breathe so I didn't spend the night there. Didn't feel too safe either.

I booked 6 rooms with 2 double beds per room for 4 nights. 1 room had blood stained sheets and smelled like cigarettes even through it was a non smoking room. Our employees could not stay in that room and booked a hotel elsewhere. The rest of the employees who stayed in the 5 other rooms are now completely covered in bug bites. I had prepaid for the rooms and am told that I will be refunded for the remainder of the stay. Relocated all employees 10 miles away. I am waiting to hear from the owner if I will be reimbursed for the 5 rooms that had bugs. A disgusting experience. Was also told that I may not be reimbursed for the room that was vacated by the employees because the room had been cleaned once they complained. Shouldn't the room be cleaned before a guest checks in???

Location is great, across from Target. Being extensively refurbished. Relatively quiet considering located on busy El Camino Real. Minimum amenities. No shampoo, no in room coffee. Did have refrigerator, microwave. It is not often you get to see a TV with a cathode ray tube. At least no bullet holes in wall.

I slept well but the room smelled of ciggaretts and the room was dirty. It was also very overpriced for a hot room with a broken air conditionar.

Staff is extremely friendly. Plenty of parking. Rooms are clean and orderly. Nice and quiet. Shopping center across the street, with a Target. Carmen and Jimmy (Front Desk Staff) made me feel welcome.
