Once I sip the latte, I am happy. It’s gorgeous. And nearly as good as latte in Melbourne. It is kind of difficult to find the shop, but you can refer to my pictures, the outside of the shop does not have any names, it’s pale yellow , and with a terrace.

Excellent third wave coffee shop in the heart of Veliko Turnovo. If not best in this town, this may be the best in all of Bulgaria! So many choices from hot to cold, they have food, and sparkling water. The owner is really passionate about coffee and very knowledgeable, he explains the different roasts and aromas to his curious customers and let’s them smell the aromas. The shop itself is beautifully decorated, plenty of seats and very clean. If you’re into third wave or just coffee in general this is the spot.

If there were six stars as a rating I would happily give it to this lovely cafe ! Friendly and helpful staff, excellent coffee, rather tasty croissants and cakes ! The cafe, is decorated in a modern way and was totally impressed by its atmosphere. Could be the best shop of this kind in Veliko Tarnovo ...

Great urban vibe in the rustic ancient town! The baristas are super friendly. The cold brew was pretty good but with a hint of bitter aftertaste. I like the twist of throwing in a slice of orange in the cold brew, refreshing! The cortado was also decent but could be more full body. Overall a great coffee lovers’ destination in Veliko Tarnovo!

Came here as a coffee lover considering the reviews. I would not say I was not happy with the choice I made, but this is definitely for real espresso lovers. I had a flat white that was too much for my taste, probably they use very roasted beans. My boyfriend had a latte, which was better, you could definitely feel the milk in this one. The atmosphere is nice, but the location is very tight inside and outside on terrace. In the corner we stayed, tables are so close that everyone heard what we were speaking. But worth to try if you visit Veliko.

Beautiful! We had a great coffee experience thanks to the very friendly and knowledgeable Kalin, Teddi and the rest of the staff. We tried every type of coffee available (they had a selection of MABÓ coffees roasted by the World Roasting Vice Champion) and each one was very well extracted. In addition to the exceptional coffee, they also offer a variety of pastries that they bake themselves. Un encanto. See you soon!

Totally love places with thematic atmosphere! Very colorful interior designed with plants, books, figures..chill atmosphere The amount of different types of coffee is large. I have tried their matcha, it's the best so far. I have also tried the expresso tonic, dirty chai (definitely try this!), cappuccino, cold brew latte..everything is worth trying really!

Great coffee, great stuff, great atmosphere. The design is very colorful, alive and it's a cozy location. Some of the tables have a wonderful view too. The barista manage to transform coffee into art. We couldn't resist taking home some of this coffee.

The most amazing latte art I've seen in Bulgaria! Definitely worth a visit. Also recommend the homemade croissants and granola bowls.

I tried a really good arabica coffee with distinct strawberry aroma, a banana bread and a cold brew with soda. The beverages were perfectly made with attention to detail and quality products. I recommend the place as a spot for good coffee prepared the right way.

Excellent coffee. We went there with no expectations as we were disappointed many time by so called “specialty coffee” coffee shops. We found a very nice place with friendly staff and amazing coffee. Every time we will visit Veliko Tarnovo we will visit the Samurai as well. Keep up the good work guys!

Really nice coffee place. Very cosy and good coffee and cakes. The people serving here are friendly. Also we got free cakes from a guy in the coffee shop, who was celebrating his birthday.

Excellent coffee shop. Loved their food and espresso and matcha drinks. I enjoyed many coffee drinks here, including a great espresso tonic. Have been trying to replicate that drink ever since.

👍👍 We have asked around for good place to eat some good burgers, and many people recommended Vkusoteria. I was really impressed with the presentation especially of the fries on stick. The burgers were pretty good. It was a good experience.

👍 Hi, I am visiting Veliko Tarnovo and spending one month in this beautiful city. I enjoy coffee and spending time at coffee shops. The food and the coffee at Amaretto are good and tasty. The only problem I have with this place is the loud music. Every time I go there I end up leaving quickly because...

😠 THEY DON'T LIKE TOURISTS! We went there for the morning coffe, a verry bitter waitress. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU PAY FOR, for 2 normal coffees and a cappuccino we paid 14.20...when we got home and used translate (the bill was in bulgarian) we discovered that they also billed us a water (4.9 leva) that we...
