What a great find in the middle of nowhere! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Try the Lengua street tacos! Salsa was good and fresh. Ask for some of the home made hot sauce as it has some heat! Give it a few minutes and it will kick in. I highly recommend La Familia and hope you have the same experience I did. *Review update 10/14/22* This place is consistent. Fast friendly fresh food. I tried the fajita quesadilla and it was amazing Make sure you get the spicy salsa

This was an awesome dining experience. Tucked away in small town, Alba, Mo this place is worth the drive. The staff was extremely friendly and the smell of the food was intoxicating. I had street tacos made with pork. We also enjoyed the salsa which tastes like salsa should. Lightly seasoned with cilantro the salsa was a hit. We also enjoyed the quacamole and some queso. The chips themselves were just right. My girlfriend had a shredded chicken burrito and all in all we were under thirty dollars and walked away stuffed. This is the real deal when it comes to great Mexican food coupled with a great dining experience.

Very good and great atmosphere. Good place to run into old friends. Ran into four of my old classmates there. Awesome time and great food.

Service was slow but according to the waiter he was the only one. The hostess was borderline rude. The atmosphere was awesome and the food was amazing!!! May try again earlier someday.

I'm from the west coast and grew up I a Hispanic community. So I'm kinda picky about mexican food. The food was not bad just kinda typical of midwest mexican food. Staff was great, we had a big group 12 or 13 on a walk in. They took care of us and made it look easy. Biggest down fall.....no beer. It should be illegal to serve Mexican food without modello.

Best Mexican food I have had in a long time if ever. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the chips and salsa are AMAZING.

My family and I enjoyed a delicious lunch at La Familia. It was my 1st time going there but I will go back. The salsa and cheese dip were great.
