This apartment complex is located in a cozy area, but I would never recommend that anyone live here. The current leasing staff is dishonest and unresponsive (not to include the maintenance staff, maintenance does an excellent job responding to tenants' needs). The previous leasing offfice staff was amazing, wish they had all stayed. Safety is also a concern, as there have been instances where there were people impersonating the gas and electric company and trying to make their way inside of the residents' apartments. This was reported to the leasing office, and their only response was "yeah, we know about them". I have also noticed that the leasing office staff has been posting fake reviews to boost their rating, which ties directly back to their dishonesty. Overall, this place is just not worth your hard earned money.

Update 2023: We have notified them regarding a noise complaint a few times now and the apartment management has not even responded to our email. The noise can only be described as someone dropping a CANNONBALL on the floor above us. I think they are working out with heavy weights. At this point, I don't even blame the upstairs neighbor because I don't even know if the manager has communicated our complaint to them. The noise at this point is not only a nuisance but interfereing with our sleep as we have heard it as early as 6:30 in the morning and as late as close to midnight. We also have a toddler who is struggling because of this issue and it is completely unacceptable.

I am extremely disappointed. This place use to be so amazing to live but unfortunately it has gone down hill. When safety complaints are raised to management they brush it off or dont return calls. I've had nails in my tires due to ongoing construction and now rent gets raised with less amenities. I would behoove any one looking for apartments steer clear from this place !

Good location and great maintenance team, but not a great experience with the office or a new neighbor. I've lived here for 4 years with different tenants above me and no problems, but the newest one is extremely inconsiderate and makes excessive, ceiling-shaking noise most of time they're home and in the middle of the night. I have communicated this to the office and they say they have sent notices, but nothing has changed. Can't wait until my lease is over so I can move and finally get some peace.

Conveniently and comfortably located in the heart of Kentlands, a vibrant, sophisticated and friendly community in Gaithersburg/North Potomac, the Courts of Devon, well managed by reputed Bozzuto, is certainly my favorite place to live in Greater DC area. Having lived here for three and half years, I was happy to find that the friendly, knowledgeable, efficient Leasing Office staff and maintenance team, the frequent, lovely community events such as outdoor movies, Happy Hour, Poolside Party, etc. bring the entire community together regardless of our cultural, ethnic or religious backgrounds. Diversity and inclusiveness, respect for the residents, efficiency, effective communications — all work together to make this place a safe, happy home for us all. Thank you Courts of Devon and Bozzuto!!

We lived here for a year with our dog and had a really pleasant time. The biggest pro of this apartment complex is the neighborhood/community and walking distance to so many things. Kentlands is one of the nicest places to live in MoCo. We always felt safe and neighbors are a mix of families, retirees, and young professionals. Also it is full of pups! Our dog made so many friends on her walks. The apartments are older but well kept. We rarely needed to contact property management about anything. We didn't experience any issues with noise from upstairs or neighbors around us (one exception, read on). Now to the CONS- our bathroom tub/shower area had a mold issue the entire time we lived there no matter what we did. There are no elevators, units are carpeted and divided by walls/not an open room layout. There isn't much in the way of ammenities - a pool, small gym, and tiny grill area. However when we lived there, we did not have an ammenity fee so that evens out. Another issue is the daily leaf blowing. It is SO loud that my coworkers can hear it through zoom, and it happens sometimes twice a day. I wish they had valet trash service. Overall it's a safe, peaceful place. You can stay in and enjoy your own company, or step out into the quaint small town feel of Kentlands. In the spring, this complex has beautiful cherry blossoms.

It was not easy to find a rent from outside of the U.S.. However, thanks to the leasing office staffs of the Courts of Devon, I could finally move in such a nice community. The process was reasonable and done in timely manner. The response was fast, clear and elegant. I admire their way of doing things. The community is so far so good. Other tenants are so quiet and nice. Neighborhood is peaceful and family-friendly. Good place.

Overall it’s a really easy place to live! Mostly due to its location and connivence to groceries, coffee, good restaurants and easy access for commuters. Have also made some really good friends in a few neighbors and the majority of people who live here are nice or keep to themselves. Living in the Kentlands in a lot of ways are your amenities - trails, lakes, entertainment, close to many things - because compared to other apartments like it in the area there are fewer amenities here for the price. Prices did rise this year by a fair amount and have many people considering moving. That being said, if you do want a seasonal pool this is a nice one (no laps), the gym is small but always clean, and the building does host several events with food a year (but my guess is we’ve paid for them in our rent). If you want to live in the Kentlands/Lakelands and enjoy nicer than builder grade apartments I would recommend!

Great place! Maintenance solves my requests in less than 20 minutes. Personnel at the front office are very helpful. The premises are spotless.

So far the staff and apartment are great. Clean, well kept and a great neighborhood too. Update 2023: Living here was a very good experience, the problem came when we moved out! The apartments assessed various costs for carpet damage and wall/ceiling damage. When we we tried to inquire as to the details and reasons for the charges EVERYBODY was very unfriendly and not very interested in helping, seemingly put out by our calls. The stark change in attitude of all the staff was very disappointing for us. So we have reduced stars.

When you are a newcomer to the U.S., finding a suitable rental place can be difficult. Despite this, we were able to move into such a wonderful community thanks to Courts of Devon's leasing office. Kurt and Vivian, the leasing office staffs, were very kind and supportive. Also, the renting process was reasonable and completed on time. They communicated clearly and quickly. It is a quiet community, family friendly with a pleasant neighborhood. Our apartment was also thoroughly cleaned before our move, and all of the appliances are brand new.

I really love living here so far! I leased site unseen and my apartment is way larger then expected. Kurt and Vivian were both helpful and quick to respond when I had questions. I love the area and everyone seems friendly. I honestly did not look at any apartments in the area though to compare to but I am happy I chose the Courts of Devon. Overall I have had a seamless move in experience.

Not a real review but hoping someone will mention this in future reviews. I've been viewing this apartment complex for a while but from the pictures and lack of information, the one thing that confuses me is the parking situation. Is it a street parking situation or is there an option for garage parking?

Excellent property. Beautifully maintained, well-appointed. Kurt is a great guy and a real professional. Thank you and looking forward to moving in.

I have lived here for over a year and I love it! I wish I could stay here forever. Truly the best leasing staff and maintenance. And the community is absolutely beautiful.

I have been here for four years. Every time I say I am going to leave I do not. The Courts of Devon has great customer service, is located in a great part of town, and is very well-maintained. This is one of the best apartment experiences I have had. The staff at the Courts of Devon are great. They consistently show care and are attentive to residents' needs. Basically, anything you want and need is a short walk away. From Lowes to Giant to Michaels to a variety of restaurants, salons, and other shopping - you name it; it's here. I am a regular at the Whole Foods and this crepes spot, which are both within walking distance. All in all, if you want peace and quiet, well-maintained grounds, and convenience this is the place for you.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Courts of Devon!! I have been living here for years and the management and maintenance team are the BEST. They make our apartment complex feel like one big family. The events they put on throughout the year allow us to come together and create a real sense of community. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else!

Trying to find a new home in a brand new city and state presents its challenges. Add a pandemic to the mix and, well, "community" can feel like a foreign concept. *Enter the Courts of Devon (and their FABULOUS associate Kimberly McGee!])* From the moment we turned the block, this place felt like home. What's that?...There are still families out for walks and children playing outdoors (masks on) in 2020?? Hello home. Let's get to the details. Even before we moved-in, the apartment was immaculate (as one would hope.) Kimberly and team went above and beyond to provide "move-in week" goodies that would be of use during a stressful time: towels, toiletries, laundry detergent, snacks in the fridge....they even left snacks for the kitty and a handy measuring tape for last minute needs! This team thinks of everything :::Inset ALL the feels!::: We've only been here a month, but there's already been community event invitations, superb communication with the leasing office, and the neighbors are positively delightful. Did I mention we lost package at another building and Kimberly found and hand-delivered it? I may never leave. STOKED to see the pool renovations when summer rolls around. Thank you, COD and Kimberly for making this house feel like "home."

I had lived in the Courts of Devon apartment for seven years. My first impression when I moved in was very clean and well designed one bed room and it was a perfect space for me. The apartment is located in very convenient place. Various restaurants and a fancy theater are located in walk distance, and the apartment complex is very quite, safe and well maintained. I think, it is the best place to live regardless having a family. All staffs in the office are very professional and kind, they always manage well. Whenever I requested maintenance, they took care of them immediately (no later than 24 hrs). For seven years living in this apartment, it was very pleasure experiences and I was so glad to live in this apartment with great staffs. I also really appreciate them for sending my medication to my new address after moving-out that the USPS was accidentally delivered to my old address. I will really miss the life in this apartment and all staffs.

The Courts of Devon apartments are very well maintained. The staff are always helpful, friendly and responsive. The location is ideal, with grocery stores, restaurants, a brand new movie theatre, fitness options, yoga studios, spas, a farmers market, Lowes, home stores and other little shops all within a 5 minute walk. The area is pedestrian friendly and pretty much everything you need is within walking distance. The amenities are in great condition and the office hosts regular social gatherings for residents to create a sense of community. Our apartment is peaceful, clean and quiet. The other residents are friendly and respectful as well. I work from home and my partner has a 10 minute commute. Life has been very convenient for us both at the Courts of Devon, where we have lived for about 9 months. We are very happy here!

The Courts of Devon apartments are beautiful and newly renovated. The rooms are very spacious. The staff is excellent and very attentive. My move-in experience has been smooth. Kimberly and Adam were great to work with and addressed all my questions and concerns in a timely fashion. I would definitely recommend these apartments.

I am very pleased with Courts of Devon so far! My boyfriend and I moved in almost a month ago, and things have been great. The leasing and move in process was fairly smooth, Kimberly answering any questions that we had, and holding our space for an extra week (even though she didn’t have to) since our previous lease overlapped. When we moved in there were cute “move in” necessities around the apartment that made us feel welcome, such as snacks, a towel set, and laundry detergent. We had a few maintenance issues when moving in, but they came in a quick and timely manner and fixed all of our needs! The only two issues I have is the water in the bathroom (they have hard water so it leaves a cloudy residue on the sink) and the blinds which have a rip (Kimberly said it would be fixed upon moving in, but they were not able to since the windows are so high up, and they do not have a ladder for it, but they are still working on finding a solution.) Overall I am very impressed with Courts of Devon, their management team, and the way this community feels like a home. The neighbors that I have met so far are so friendly, the area is safe with many walkable stores, and I am excited for the rest of my stay here!

From the warm welcome from Kimberly we have experienced 5* service and courteous speedy remedies to any snagging on our new home. Rufus our dog has been made very welcome and enjoys his surroundings and is treated by the main office to the odd treat. It seems to be a great community which we will certainly get involved in. The attention to detail and ability to involve us beyond the usual 'tenant/landlord' drudgery is refreshing and a reason while we will be staying here for a long time.
