Fantastic and wonderful place to chat with friends & family. Ambiance is too good to roam around the city’s best place. Now they enhanced this place with cool features like swing, granite benches, models of Eiffel tower, paisa towers etc.. Best place to hang out. Snacks available most of the time through local vendors. I personally like to take tea time here. Racecourse is an emotional place to Coimbatorians. Best or worst, happy or sad we like to sit for a while here. I can’t forgot those days I roamed with my friends here. Perfect for family time as well.

On all holiday days you can see the lighting show in the evening at 7pm. Kids will enjoy why adults also love the show. Really so beautiful and well and neat maintenance of the smart city project coimbatore. I Love (Live) Coimbatore🥰

Took a round of race course road white my stay in Taj Vivanata. Gr8 place to hangout with friends, family and even if u r alone. Newly renovated path way, nice sitting arrangement. Must visit when u r in Coimbatore.

Super location for spending time and sit and chat. Clean atmosphere and all good people around. Nice place in the city that too in the evening but lot of NO PARKING BOARDS BUT PEOPLE COULD PARK ONLY THERE. No other parking space available. Better remove those NO PARKING BOARDS.

I love this place for walking and you will see a lot of families also visiting this place to hangout. There are play areas for kids and ample eateries along the walking track. I find it very safe to walk during late night also and I highly recommend this place for fitness freaks and friends to hangout.

It's actually called Thomas park and has a bus stop. Now this is transformed into Zone 2 as part of Smart City initiative. Visited once when they showed mini movies on the tower display, good experience and entertainment for kids ,heard the entire LED display was split into two half and made in china :). The mini shows are displayed on Saturday and Sunday evenings I believe.

It's one of the smart city developing areas in coimbatore, when compared to valankulam lake, this place is maintained well. The main theme is to improve physical health. Taking a walk or jog around this road can lit up anyone especially in the evening, mainly I love those ring lights and tamil letters. You can find number of cafes and coffee corners around these race course. Very Relaxing spot when u r out with friends there

Not happy, we are outside the city limits After we were done with work we wanted to walk around. Police restricting. I hope we are evolving just because it's late night such places should be allowed for people to spend and relax in night time. Wondering what's the problem and what's stopping? Is Coimbatore not good for night life to relax?

Seeing this place since birth bcoz I born in kg hospital next to it.. Race course have changed a lot.. Except those trees, posh bungalows..it is best place for walking in Coimbatore..

We were there for the Happy Streets event on a Sunday morning ...was a great experience with people of all age groups having fun at one place.

Race Course is been a part of smart City projects. Thank God it is completed (partially). For people who run, jog and walk this is one of the best place.

Good walking trak approximately 2km with different types of lighting and attraction. Trees both side of track. Open gym. Kids play ground. Lots of chair and swing. Make your mind and body healthy and happy. Totally free no fees.

World class spending for development,,, Poor quality plastic products to play , which may not last another year. And already Hawker stalls, garbage all around. i hope in next few months, if unchecked,, few people may make it their home.

A place that makes you to enjoy the ambiance, well maintained. Neatly placed with all signage with smart displays, well placed play zone and exercise modern machines..... A must visit place and u can read books a while through Coimbatore Police initiated lending library, which attracts decent crowd.... kids enjoy more with all those miniatures created as like as it is and science equipments were been placed in between are knowledge gaining.... Overall it was a pleasant and more happier visit time sent well and useful.

Place is alright. Work is still yet to be completed. Regulars, walking footpath is fine.. But when it comes to kids game place, the work is unfinished and not organized. They can put up more games and also put a stone bench for sitting in the opposite side. Okay place for the kids to spend some fun time..

They have taken Coimbatore Race Course to another level! There are food joints everywhere and it's super clean with bins everywhere. There are swings, rest area and have a lot of space to walk!! Around that area, Apple Bees is a must visit, where they serve Leaf Kalan and Banana Stem soup!

Best place in CBE for morning as well as late evening walk, tree covered path ways with street lights and kids playing zone. I love this place for late evening walk ❣️
