We felt like we were in a plane, with "boarding ticket" on the table, menu, ceramic origami bird. Refreshing taste of Soft Crab salad! The beef bowl was filling and taste was perfect for my palate! Not salty. Free Mochi was yummy! Hot tea helped us digest it faster. Be there on time as schedules are tight. We arrived 30 minutes late. But service was pretty fast.

Ambiance was lovely, the theme and interior was amazing and the staff are friendly and patient. You can watch the chefs prepare the food from some tables. Food was nice, plating was very well done.

Sashimi is fresh; even the umi sushi is tasty to me, who usually finds it too intense. Plating looks very elegant. Oyster small is enough, medium is too big to be bite-size (especially for girls!) Quite ex though. Very interesting restaurant layout. Each table has own privacy.

Mains- unagi don- portion was very filling but kind of disapponted wf the unagi. It didnt tasted like what it cost. If want unagi, just go get from man man or places that specialise in unagi. Get their bara or chirashi don instead. Assorted sushi platter- this is really good n very filling. Good for sharing or used as mains for 1 person. I enjoyed the freshness n succulence of each fish/scallop slice chomped within the mouth. Hot skewer- its really good. Worth every bit of $ it cost. We ordered the chicken ball. The meat, you can taste it very well n the flavours were good. Can order more from this section as future notes. Desert- nothing much to commend. The accompanying mochi was rather unforgettable. Overall, a very nice experience although the place tries its best to look like the cabin of an airplane but it felt more like within cells instead. The decor is cute. I really liked the origami swan shaped chopsticks holder. The boarding pass is a cute souvenir but i wouldnt bother to take it away. Will end up as clutter in my house. Bring more friends to enjoy more choices of food! Their selection is so many n more people=order more and can try from more dishes!

The food never disappointed. I have been there 10 years ago. The food is always good. The thematic of the restaurant has always been a seller. The furnishing of the restaurant has remained the same as I have visited 10 years ago. Hence, the wear and tear is evident. Not an easy area to park. Overall, still love the great food.

We visited Sushi Airways while in Singapore visiting from Canada. We had the Ebi Maki, the Lobster Mango roll and the Spicy Akami! All of which were very fresh and very flavourful and tasty. The staff there were exceptional, so friendly, professional and attentive. I loved how you could watch the chefs prepare your rolls, and they even said hello to us as we sat near their preparation area. I would definitely return!

Believe this is one of the few themed restaurant. Airways makes you feel you are boarding to a plane (DC9). Deco and ambience are great. Friendly staffs have been attending to serve you just like Mr & Ms Air Stewart. Food was unbelievably excellent. Presentation, portioning, quality and taste were fantastic! It was an enjoyable evening. I would make a suggestion that to ensure your sake list is up-to-date as we ordered one brand but replied after the service crew check was out of stock...

Greeted with a cozy airplane interior and plesant cabin crew. All the sushi, sashimi and wasabi tasted amazing. Would come back again for all the dishes, except for the grilled lobster and oysters. Was even given a complimentary can of Asahi Beer. Overall a very positive and fulfilling experience. Dishes ordered: Grilled Fugu Premium Nigiri Platter Premium Sashimi Moriawase Double Shake Roll Nama Kaki Medium Grilled lobster

The Mrs made a table reservation to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The food was good and the service fantastic. The staffs are friendly and chatty without being intrusive. They knew we were celebrating our daughter’s birthday and presented her a little cake which was really nice of them.

Sashimi was the best imo, juicy and fresh. Would have ordered more of these if we didn't splurge to try their lobster. Overall can be quite pricey. Service was great, staff were quick to check to refill drinks or check if additional order was required. Atmosphere was decent, they have a flight ticket gimmick for you to fill up and take pics with. Might be better if the overall place was more spacious or more cabin crew themed attire.

Seldom venture out to central area on weekday nights but I must say this visit was totally worth it and we definitely will share this experience with our friends and family. Menu was pretty extensive for a small themed restaurant. Interior was really on point as it gave me cabin vibes as soon as I stepped in. The menu name and boarding pass were cherry on the cake. The 1st appetiser was a simple looking tomato, easily the best I've eaten! Really enjoyed the fresh and thick sashimi cuts. The soft-shell crab salad was unique as it offered cut fruits, the sweetness really balances well with the savoury flavours. Tuna cartilage was a new experience for us and best paired with sake. Baked cheese waygu is highly recommended for those who likes cheese and beef. Hamachi collar was cooked well, the meat was still moist and tender and serving portion was just right for sharing between 3-4 pax. If you are coming as a party of 5 and above, do make reservation first as the default seating arrangement is up to 4.

Have always heard of this place and wanted to give it a try. Finally got a chance to, and I was definitely not disappointed! The restaurant was themed like the interior of an aircraft cabin, which was really nice. The menu was termed the flight manual, and there is even a boarding pass gimmick which you could bring back with you as a souvenir. We ordered the Couple's Sashimi Moriawase, Chirashi Don, Snow Crab Handroll and Salmon Maki. These were amazingly tasty and fresh - definitely one of the best I've ever eaten! When we called to make the reservations, the staff found out that we were celebrating my birthday, so they had prepared a small cake as well, which was a very nice surprise! This place might be a little pricey, but for the freshness of the sashimi, it was definitely worth it! The staff were top-notch in their services too, so kudos to them for making this experience an amazing one.

Food was yummy and flavourful, the staff were also very attentive and helpful. Favourite dishes: cheese lobster & beef cubes. As it was Christmas period, the staff gave us a can of Asahi beer each and some desserts, nice touch! Only downside was the chawanmushi was over cooked, rest of food was nice

came here for dinner during weekday. the decorations were unique, the ambiance was good, and the service was great! the Saikoro Steak and the Triple Crunchy Chocolate Cake were good. Grilled Lobster was great! the restaurant is on second floor, easy to find, however, may need some lucks in finding an empty car park lot though.

My son’s favorite food - sushi. Sushi Airways is great for its freshness. The place is designed like a cabin. Kinda nice deco and novelty place to dine. Could have wider food choice. Also would prefer a wider selection of dessert.

Hiding upstairs, in a very interesting neighbourhood, is a sushi experience you've never had before! I can guarantee that you will want to go back and do it again, and again. Superb food. Very helpful and professional staff. Unique decor with street views of Kampong Glam.

Very interesting restaurant with good food and service! It’s a pretty small restaurant with limited seats so best to make a reservation. The menu is pretty extensive - we absolutely loved the lobster, oyster, and the rolls. ALL were so good. Will definitely return. Came here for our anniversary and were also given a celebratory plate of cake and Japanese desserts.

Just had the most amazing meal at sushi airway! The sushi Ebi maki, double shake roll, moriawase sashimi, and grilled lobster were all out of this world delicious. I highly recommend trying them if you're a sushi lover like me. And the service was top-notch too! 5 stars all the way. Thank you Ling for your great service !

Been here a couple of years ago and surprised the deco is still the same! V well maintained i have to say. They even give the same old boarding pass like they did in the past! Food is still as gd as i can remember just that it’s abit pricey. I like that they have a gd mix of traditional sushi and the fanciful fusion kind that’s geared more toward the sinkie’s palate. I highly recommend the barachirashi, the assorted sushi platter, double shake(salmon) roll and the mango lobster roll! Ps they are pretty pricey but taste damn gd lo. At least the uni on the barachirashi and the platter is fresh. Doesn’t have that rancid fishy off taste. Hopefully they maintain the same standard for many years to come!

My family went to Sushi Airways for dinner for my husband birthday celebration. Normally I don't have high expectation for theme restaurant but never regret it as the food is super yummy and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. The chefs were also very friendly. The waitress helped us took many family photos. I love the plating of the food. So pretty and photo worthy. We also received a complimentary cake and mochi from the restaurant for my husband birthday. The interior is very cool and my son is very excited over the airplane theme. I will definitely go again!

An Unforgettable Flight of Flavors! I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a culinary journey like no other at Sushi Airways, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience! This sushi restaurant, with its flight-based theme, took my taste buds to new heights and left me craving more. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the aviation-inspired decor. The airplane cabin-like seating arrangement and soft cabin crew uniforms worn by the attentive staff truly made me feel like a privileged passenger about to embark on a culinary flight. For sushi enthusiasts seeking a unique and unforgettable experience, Sushi Airways is a must-visit destination. The flight-based theme, premium food, and impeccable service create an atmosphere that is second to none. This restaurant will take your taste buds on an elevated journey they won't forget!

This is a fun and enjoyable little restaurant that has a quirky theme that doesn’t feel too cheesy. The food is presented well and all the little touches keep the theme and experience enjoyable. The sashimi is on point and super fresh and the miso is delicate and better than most places I’ve tried. It is a little on the high side but kinda worth it for the fun vibes.

Somewhat hidden, especially when the Japanese food genre is unexpected in a place like Kampong Glam. Yet the eatery offers great freshness that satisfies my taste palate very well. I found the eatery a tad small, ans our table was similarly small as well.. However, the dining experience remained great with good service standards.. It was a nice surprise to receive the small cakes as free dessert.. I should be back again!

Reserved a table for 5 at 7:30pm. Was told that there was a $50 deposit, paid for it and also told that tables will be held for only 5mins. Ok sure. But anyways we reached around 7:10pm. Got rejected after climbing all the way up. I am heavily pregnant which one of the service staff can clearly see. But anyway it was quite disappointing. There were empty seats and no other customers came. They could have just let us sit first before directing us to our 5 seater table. But no, got rejected. Wanted to leave immediately and not eat it anymore but stayed on because of that $50. Got up, space was really squeezy. If you're comfortable with squeezing then go ahead... See photos for food. So far everything was not bad but ya service for me is a no-no. No flexibility and cannot provide extra mile despite seeing the situation. Hence the one star. No matter how fresh their sashimi is. Not going to adjust the review. Seat that you offered was a high chair which I can't sit. Second, when we came up the seat was NOT occupied which means you can offer to let us have the seat and then change it afterwards.

Slightly overpriced and overhyped. Food was good and ambience was unique. Wouldn't come back again though as there are many other authentic Japanese restaurants around the vicinity.

Tuck hidden, you may miss the entrance to the restaurant. It a treat from my best friend! The sushi is real fresh and melt in the mouth. The lobster is a must try. Good place to celebrate for a special event.
