This place is a gem. They have a wide range of high quality beers and decent food. Their lunch sets are great value and they have healthy choices, though I think they have downgraded the lunch sets a bit over the past year. I preferred the old side salad that used to come with it. Service is friendly. Outside of the lunch specials, they also have a large selection of yakitori (kushiyaki) that’s fairly tasty. The beer selection also changed regularly so it’s easy to try new varieties. You can now only view the menu online and the system is spotty. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Arrived at 313 Somerset at about 2 pm. Feeling famished. No idea what to eat here. Came across this eatery and decided to give it a try. Ordered the chashu set lunch. The meat is OK but a little tough. Taste is fine. The side dishes are OK but the jellyfish has a weird taste. The black beer is smooth and rich. Taste really good. Service is quick and services are helpful. They need to smile more.

Glad that I found this daily lunch offer set place. There’s set lunch from $13.90++ but the cheapest one is veggie croquettes with curry. Meat options from $15.50++ onwards but there’s many options from tempura tendon rice, ebi fry with curry rice, karaage chicken or pork Katsu cutlet with curry rice, yakitori grilled chicken skewer rice etc. the set lunches come with ice green tea drink (but it’s a bit watered down, can be more concentrated), a small potato salad, a small cold tofu with sesame dressing & hot miso soup (I like that it was piping hot unlike some restaurants it’s lukewarm) and the soup has good amount of ingredients like fried tofu, white soft tofu & seaweed. Ordering is easy by scanning QR and linking to the order website. The staff are friendly and prompt. Payment is easy as it’s cashless and the staff brings the cashier machine to you. The location is outdoors al fresco along the walkway outside 313 but it wasn’t hot as there’s a giant fan above. On the whole I was happy to eat there and the food was good plus portion size was sufficient for me. Wouldn’t mind going again.

I highly recommend to try here. The location is central, right at the MRT Sommerset and located at the famous small food street. The menu varies different price ranges from soft drink around 5 to beer around 1x. Food is also similar from 5 to 3x. Quality is good Their service is absolutely excellent

Lots of beers on tap but I don’t think all were available at the same time. Need to scan QR code to access types of beer and their prices in real time. These were also shown on two TV screens but the text were so tiny. Prices were on the high side even during Happy Hour (before 8pm, I think) but justifiable for the location (it’s Orchard!). Yakitori was pretty good but the fried skewers (only on Mondays) were quite bad. Staff was friendly and attentive. Good place to catch up with friends or people watch.

The food here's pretty good, particularly the skewers... The location is fantastic, it's at 313 right by Somerset MRT, great for people watching! The craft beer selection's just okay though, but there IS a pretty large variety on tap, and also it's not as if there is a lot of choices in the area.

Situated at the corner of 313 Somerset is a cozy and modern beer joint. I passed by a few times and decided to have a drink on a breezy Sunday evening. The beer selection is good. The skewer and food is also great for a chillout evening before start of work week. Staff here are extremely friendly. Hope to see the 313@Somerset extension completed soon to experience a whole new vibe in this precinct.

Very friendly, fast response, and helpful staffs and service! Love the vibe and happy hour until 8pm! More than 20 types of (draft) beer available! Seats are limited, food stop serving quite early like 8pm. Printed menu is outdated, scan the qr code on the table.

One of my favourite places. The beer is always fresh and I adore the yakitori though it can take some time to prepare. Windy and perfect if you like to people watch. Great happy hour deals too considering the location. One thing: service was kind of lacking this time - there was one guy who was the epitome of great service buzzing around but the rest of them were always ‘not looking our way’ if you know what I mean 🤦🏻‍♀️

JiBiru means Beer Time! I think. Not Japanese but just a random guess based on my very touristy level Japanese. Not an air conditioned place but wasn’t warm on a typical afternoon. You can order and pay through the web. I had the katsu curry set lunch ($14.90) which came with a simple salad, miso soup and green tea (can choose iced or hot) and two small slices of watermelon. My companion had a Ten Don set lunch ($14.50). We shared two yakitori as sides, Tsukune (meatballs) and Yakiton (grilled pork) — $6.80 each. We enjoyed a refreshing Gweilo Lager ($8) as well! Overall, the food is decent though we both felt that the pork dishes were kinda chewy. So we may avoid that next time. Service was good, thank you. Our meal cost $60. We will be back to try more! 🍻

25 beers on tap. Happy hour prices available although not as cheap as some other places. Had the steak bowl, but quite disappointed with it. Steak was way too over overcooked. Would be nicer if they serve beer with chilled glass.

Great yakitori, should get that, and great beer selection as well. The mentaiko pasta is a miss for me, have this weird mint/shiso leaf flavour that just doesn't match the mentaiko for me.

Back here for the first time in a couple of years, and loved it! Now 27 beer taps (I counted them) and the yakitori is great, although it can take a little while for all the items to arrive. Staff are friendly, just wave if you need service rather than using the QR code. Great to hang out for a while, have a beer and people watch!

Very nice bar with a great selection of beers. It’s really hard to find craft beers in Singapore so this spot is a real gem, especially when you have a craving for IPA.

This place is a must eat of your in the area! The food was delicious, the Chef definitely knows how to work his magic. The waitresses Lina amd Jerry were fantastic, very helpful and very on top of the floor. I will happily be back to enjoy those delicious eats and enjoy the atmosphere here. Job well done everyone 😁. From a Canadian Chef to your restaurant..I ate the food to fast, forgot to take pictures. Thank you, great job and well done!

Sorry I didn't get your name and shout-out to my guy for the service and candidness and allowing us to change our seats yesterday. Ordered the Mosaic Beer Jio and the lady ordered the Sapporo (why? ikr!). Skewers are tasty. I'm also pleasantly surprised Untappd app is used here. If only the beers could be less foamy. Amazing outdoor place when the weather is nice and not too warm. From your "regular customer". Cheers!

A good place to chill and enjoy their excellent selection of draft beers. Please do go there during Happy hours to enjoy more beers for less. Their food is also something to shout about.

Love coming here, especially for happy hour! We always have a selection of foods, the tempura is beautiful and lite. All the meats were delicious, and you can't grumble at $9 for a pint in happy hour. Great spot to chill. Service is always spot on and quick!

Set lunch prices daily from 12-3pm with some great options Opted for non set lunch which was a mini bowl of bara chirashi. Portion maybe a bit small for big eaters but was just looking for light lunch & this is just nice. Had it paired with a bottle of sparkling sake which made it even more nicer Love the chill vibes of the place & it was nice to be dining alfresco with natural wind blowing A note of warning though, the winds are pretty strong Service nice & friendly. Option to order from qr codes scanning or as they stated, option to order from human is available as well..

Superb range of craft beers and a lovely menu. Only had 3 days in Singapore but we kept returning to this place. Lovely relaxed vibe and cool outdoor seating area.

Ji Biru restaurant in Singapore is simply the best place for enjoying yakitori. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with an amazing array of flavors to choose from. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about all the offerings, so you can rest assured that you'll get exactly what you're looking for. The menu is extensive, with a wide selection of appetizers, mains, sides, and desserts. The quality of the food is superb, with fresh ingredients used in every dish. Everything we've tried has been delicious! Plus, the prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy some high-quality yakitori, then Ji Biru restaurant should be your go-to spot!

Food was average but location is quite central and good outdoor atmosphere. We came as a group and ordered quite a number of dishes. The phone ordering system is not efficient as our order kept getting refreshed. We ended up ordering through the waiters. Wait for some dishes was long and some were not input into the system. We even had an dish that we didn’t order but took it anyway since it was good sharing dish. To cap the experience, the first receipt that came back had multiple duplicates of dishes. I had to go through the receipts again and it took them till the third receipt to have corrected the dishes that was ordered. Might not go there again for food but would come down for a drink as they were not too bad.

Love this place! Great vibes to chill and have a drink. Very friendly service. I’ve also been here a number of times with my kids. I like the food because I can get good healthy options like salad, miso soup, and grilled vegetables. My kids like the fried rice.

Great place for a nice drinks and gettogether! Good place to hangout around a crowded pathway. Our team of 14 visited and had good time, they would join three tables for a team sitting. Nice grill meats, fries food options. They can suggest good beer options, friends liked selected/craft beer in a different wine glass.
