Cocktails were more like mocktails. Even friend who has low alcohol tolerance didn't taste any alcohol. Bartender said we needed to top up for more alcohol which we decided against because we feel short-changed Waiters were okay

🍜 Food wise: Lychee Martini had a happy hour one for one promotion. Great drink. The food was great too, especially the Kimchi carbonara. ✨ Ambience wise: great ambience, quite a lot of people drinking even on a weekday night. 🤵🏻 Service wise: server was friendly, staff work very fast 💵 Price wise: Affordable considering it’s at town.

Some $5 specials, but not great. The place is empty compared to the neighboring bars, and it doesn't fill up at all. The tapas is basic bar food. Almost everything is deep fried, which goes well with beer, but they don't have many beer options at all. I would not go back because they don't have a good food and drink selection, but the service is prompt.

We spent an afternoon and the early evening here over beer and wine. Stick to the beer since the wine selection is not great. However, the food items are delicious and tasty. Perfect to go with the beer. We sat outside (non air conditioned) as it rained the better part of the day. As no smoking is allowed, it was really pleasant sitting outside.

Great place for an evening hangout with friends. The beef burger is a great value for $8. Loved all the flavored soju drinks too.

Food was on average ok. Pork belly was excellent. Pizza was really small. I realize it’s tapas but the food portions could have been slightly bigger. Still very tasty. We went on a Sunday night so maybe the place was short staffed but it took ages to get staff’s attention. Ordering is via QR code and unfortunately our mobile was not working inside so had a hurdle to start with. The waitress gave us their internal iPad which helped immensely. Again, it took a bit to get their attention. Overall, I think it’s worth checking out but maybe as an in between snack rather than a meal.

Stumbled across this place at Cuppage road. Surprisingly empty for a Sat dinner hour and I soon understand why. Although it seemed like a good place to chill indoors as it wasn’t noisy for a bar around Orchard, some of the food fell below expectations. Starting with the beef bulgogi nachos, the looks of it were tempting as it was served but the bulgogi beef was too chewy and over salty. I liked the corn chips though, unfortunately I’m not a fan of coriander and it had quite a bit within its salsa sauce. The fried chicken skin were great by its own, but I left the sauce as it is. The fiv五 burger sliders tastes decent but hard to handle without it being all over the board/plate. Sauces resemble to Ramly’s but not the patty itself as it is more westernised than a street-taste kind of food. Last but not least the spam carrot cake looked interesting but I wasn’t a fan of the spicy scallop sauce used in the food. The taste of both carrot cake and spam felt distinguished and was just combined onto a same plate to serve.

Excellent bistro to chill, gather and tapas portions are great. Especially the fried chicken chunks. Dine-in or takeaways. Great choices of drinks list.

Totally been thrown a curve ball by the 2 staffs on duty as my partner was being denied entry because of her vaccination status showing "not fully vaccinated" BUT her test status showed "cleared" with a green tick and validity of the status till next day as she was a recovered covid patient with 1 dose of vaccine. The staffs choose to abide by their own set of info and failed to checked clearly against latest official press release from the safe entry business apps FAQ regarding various vaccination differentiated SMMs scenarios and the outcome for her according to the guideline was to press "YES" in order to complete the safe entry check in. We eventually gave up and left with a bewildered mindset after explaining for a good 10mins as we were too famished.

Settled for Five Tapas among the other bars there but experience was pretty average. Drink was heavily overpriced and beyond diluted. Food is okay but it’s not the best and you can definitely find better food elsewhere. However, it is decent as a bar that you can visit from time to time.

Lovely place to hang out with friends. Can get crowded especially during Friday nights. Food and service standards have consistently been excellent through my visits in past years till date. Highly recommended to try their famous garlic cockles!

We came here.with family. Everywhere is crowded except here so we thought have a drink here. Service by the staffs was not friendly. We ordered wine, glasses that served to us all stains of water droplets and lipstick stains. I wiped all 4 glasses infront of the staff, he just ignored. This is unacceptable and very unprofessional. We didn't have the foods so can't comment. But with the service, I will not dine or chill here anymore.b

Drinks were extremely watered down. I ordered 2 soju jugs and it just taste like yakult with water. Dont get me wrong, the drinks tasted good, but i think that its not worth buying when the liquor content is almost nonexistent. Food was alright, average tasting. We got the rosemary chicken, pork ribs, korean fried chicken, and burger sliders. I love the truffle fries, nice portion of fries for each set. Burger slider is so good. Bun is buttered nicely, and really reminded me of ramly burger but the beef patty is a medium beef patty and not the usual frozen discs. Overall the food tasted alright, just that the taste does not justify the price... Service was fine, idk why so many people say that the service is bad. The staff are all very friendly and they all seem to be trying their best already. Music indoors could have been louder though. Because of the enclosed space, all the boredline shouting, screeching, and all sorts of noises from other patrons are amplified. I know that its a bar and it's not meant to be quiet like a library. But i honestly felt pain in my ears due to some patrons' loudness 😥 i wore earbuds to help filter out the noises and it was slightly better. I noticed that the seating outdoors needed some kind of renovations works because the wooden flooring were already broken, and seem quite old already. It could pose as a safety risk, especially when its not very brightly lit.... Tldr; watered down drinks, subpar food, unmaintained outdoor seating, and exorbitant pricing. My first time here, and maybe the last.

I enjoy the food and drinks. The food is pretty good and come with good portions. My favourite is the lemongrass clams. My only gripe is that the music is way way way too loud. Is this a club or is this a bar? Why do I have to shout at my friends just to have a conversation? I'd come back if they changed the music... or just lower the volume for crying out loud. It's the same inside the bar and the same outside at the outdoor seating area. If I wanted to club, I'd be at an actual club. Gosh.

Good place to relax

This place serves great food and drinks at affordable price. Conveniently located just opposite Somerset MRT and a little walk in, this place is amongst many of the other bars and restaurants at Cuppage. I personally love their food dishes because they are tasty and are served in smaller portions, which means you get to try more varieties. This place is usually packed and will have a line if you come at night so be prepared to wait.

Arrived here late for Friday night drinks with some friends and paid first - made the mistake of not checking the bill with my friends as the bar added 3 drinks to our tab which we didn't order. Only found out the next day when we were splitting the bill. Many of the food menu items were sold out so we got fries. Fries were soooo salty we could barely eat.

Food was average and yet priced rather exorbitantly. Most outrageous moment came when my friend asked for a glass of water and yet was told that they “do not serve water” and asked my friend to instead purchase bottled water for $2. This all after we purchased food that amounted to over $100. Why are we paying 10% service charge again? To a place that disregards the environment and has a blatant effort to squeeze every last ounce of profit out of its customers? Never going back again.

A perfect hangout place for smaller groups of about 4-6pax. Ambience was not too bad. You can choose to be outdoor or indoor seating. Mains are just average taste but was good enough if you are feeling hungry. The highlights are the Sides and the Draft beers which cost just $5 each. 3stars for the food as the mains aint really the very nice kinda taste. And ordering is just using a QR code to scan and order, very convenient. Atmosphere was good but the seating for outdoors are mostly High chairs, which isn't that comfy after long period of seating thus i rated 4 stars instead. The Service is good, but sometimes shorthanded if you are seating on the far end of the outdoor, the server sometimes cant see you when you require some help.

Always so crowded and hard to get a smoking table. both inside and outside seating available. Super efficient and quick service. Luncheon chips were a tad oily but a suitable bar snack to go with the beer. Great thursday night bottle specials for $8++ bottled beers! $5++ for spirits. great value for money.

Cheap drinks,

This is also one of the many bars in SIngapore. I kind of like the vibe of this place. The staff is pretty freindly. You do get regular drinks here and food is also available. they also entertain happy hours during certain times of the day and certian days of the week. It is one of the bars, I would defnitely reocmmend going once if in the area. You wil have a decent night. Enjoy!

Had a burger with my friend, it was really good! But I found a piece of steel wool in it, so I inform the staff about it. They were most willing to change a new burger for me and what blows my mind away is that the manager personally came out and apologise. To top it off, he waived off the burger from my bill. I knew their would be good, but I least expect their their service would be that good, at such a busy period! Solid food, drinks and service!!

Absolutely atrocious service. Staff were unhelpful, unfriendly, and clearly more interested in their phones than working (see photo). Cocktail was delicious, but totally overshadowed by attitude and behaviour of staff towards customers. To top it off, toilets were filthy and appeared as though had not been attended to in a long time. Disappointing.

Staff were extremely rude from the beginning. An example of this was how this lady in relatively short and frizzy hair took away my menu before asking me what drink I wanted, and when asked what there was, just told me it was in the menu without giving it back. Service was very rushed as well, even before it got busier. While the food was relatively good, the atrocious service has me with great doubt it is a place I’ll be patronising again.

The ambience was amazing, the pricing was decent, the place was clean but the staff were rude and rushing to clear the table of our glasses as if they wanted to push us out. Maybe its a one-off thing that happened to me, but I wouldn't risk going there again.

It's a fun place to sit down with your friends for a beer. I did notice a lot of local people visited the place for post office drink. The staff is courteous and prompt. Beer is available on tap.

Ask for drinking water apparently the waitress says you have to drink inside the restaurant near the counter area, cant drink outside. Otherwise you have to purchase a bottle of water. FYI, singapore water can drink even from the pipe... why do they have to charge like this...

Very slow service. Staff not attentive to the needs of customers. Ordered fries but the fries tasted like it was fried the second time and its dry. Guess the quality of food and service is reflected on the low crowd of customers as well.

staff are very rude and ridiculous pricing. they. put 8% alcohol soju (Cheuga Hana) in this jar and charge us 38$. It was not indicated in the menu that the soju they use was a much lower alcohol percentage variety than usual. staffs are also very rude and don’t even want to give glass to drink soju.
