What a place. Get here early to see the girls waiting to tout for business. Get here later and people watch the clientele getting progressively more drunk and the girls working their magic. Prices are reasonable with all things considered and the band that starts at 10pm is pretty decent. Come in a group with an open mind and no expectations and you will have a fun time. This place is super casual and a place to go once a intoxicated, or to get to that state. Not a place I would choose, but a fun place to people watch.

This is a great night club in Singapore. Good band, good atmosphere, reasonable drink prices, and plenty of friendly Vietnamese hookers. If you want some paid companionship, this is the place to go. Best on Friday and Saturday nights. Safe travels.

The new place is much less seedy than the old one at the towers. Music is louder but also roof is higher, making it feel less crowded. There’s not similar great hideout spot to enjoy music and band as at the old place as more traffic flows through the side bar. This means also more girls there which depending of your preference is either pro or con. The working morale of the house band is time after time something unfathomable, there is no moment during the night when they wouldn’t be giving their full heart and soul on their performance. Also because of the obvious, local girl groups seem to be partying there like never before without being bothered by guys as their Vietnamese sisters are taking care of dudes. Just something very joyful to see every time. Staff is very friendly - something is a miss? Either they fix the issue immediately or in few cases I’ve gotten a voucher for new drink as they didn’t have change enough. Just check you have some small notes or coins with you for toilet visits, guy there is prime example of what friendly customer service can be. This is one of the worst places I've ever been. I paid $12 for a drink that they never delivered all while some enormous prostitutes tried to talk to me or touch me. It was significantly uncomfortable. The staff is aloof and couldn't care less if you're there, having a good time, etc. I've never seen anything like this in Singapore. I will avoid this place like herpes...well, exactly like herpes, actually.

From my younger days, to my mid years, ipanema keeps to its entertainment , look after their employees well. Been to its tea dance, happy hour, ladies night, weekend special, great band , can take stairs to their regular bar which is much cozier , also with band and dancers. 17 april 2022 some of the clubber arrived however we understand that the club are not ready in 2 things 1 ) club needed to thoroughly do a spring cleaning due to long time lock down and might contented viruses 2) some partial upgrading might needed to process before opening. As per above mentioned date the person inside the club doing some stuff told club will be READY and can return back on 19 april 2022 So on 24april2022 more then 150 clubbers arrived awaiting for ipanema to operate however till 1400hrs the club not seem to have any vision of movement (closed ) And it stated a NOTICE , upgrading in progress It's extremely disappointed that club treat clubber (customer ) with such service .

We had a great evening at Ipanema Music Bar. This is a perfect place to chill out with your co-workers after a tiring day at work. They have a variety of drinks to choose from plus they are also within your budget. The offer nothing but great music and performances.

Their security is rude and racist. We were going as a group of 5 friends, got bounced because 2 of them were transgender. We provided passport at the entrance but still nothing, we started complaining for gender racism and some of the staff was even laughing. Terrible experience. Not recommended.

Last week I have to go orchard. I see that bar I try to go inside.. but a staff never allowed me inside because I have work permit.. anybody know work permit people can go inside or can't?

I give one star because this place is probably overrated by company reviews. The club itself is beautiful and the band plays on stage, excellent. But let's get to the point, I took a margarita and paid $18 for it 😱 and it was also in the small glass, not even very well made... . In Italy they give you a margarita for 10 euros in a large, well-made glass. On the women's side, the same thing goes, too expensive and old, not even very beautiful....
