Food, drinks, ambience and music was fantastic for a Saturday night out! A little short handed considering the place was fully packed but the staff managed to get our food and drinks pretty quickly to the table. Enjoyed the basketball arcade machine, the pool table and the beer pong! Abit disappointed the air hockey table ate up our tokens and had an error displayed. BTW: A little surprised we weren't able to put the bill on tab though, it would have been better cause I ended up having to pay 4 times.

Arrived at 6pm and was the first few at the outlet. After you order your drinks, you will be given tokens to play their arcade, or exchange more tokens thru the token machine. Manage to find some nostalgic games which I played during my secondary school day. Later in the night at 9.30pm, there is a live band playing. Food was standard but it has a wide selection of cocktail and beer. Overall the atmosphere was high. Will visit again.

Love the vibes here and the live band! Personally love the four cheese pizza. Other food were nothing worth to rave about. Recommended to come early as the waiting time for food can be an hour after the crowd arrives.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food given it is a pub. Good spread of games to choose from and there is a live band. Can bring kids in on Sundays

Foood was very mediocre and expensive for the quality, the service was mediocre, nothing to scream about. The best thing was the band - the live music was really good. The arcade games were fun too

Wow! This experience was beyond words! The arcade games, the music, the food & drinks. Not to mention the incredible service! Everyone was so kind, so helpful & ready to make sure my friends & I have a great time. Even had the opportunity to sing with the band performing that night and they went all out to sing a Happy Birthday song for me too. The music was so tight! I loved the experience & the memories! Thank you Level Up! :)

All service staffs and bouncers are quite friendly, steady and approachable. The food such as pizza, served hot and fresh, absolutely delicious. Very hype and fun atmosphere, with buskers and DJ singing and playing the music. There is a pool table, more than 10 arcade machines to play if you are bored. Recommend do not sit near the stage or speaker, unless if you wish to damage your eardrum 🤣🤣 Likely will come again 👌

Alle and Queen are the prettiest team members here at level up. Their service is 100/100 and they are very friendly and top notch quality friendship 😊😊 The food and drinks also very affordable and worth it!! Kudos to them for making our night so wonderful!

Place is OK overall, the arcade setting is a nice change from the usual bars but their massive downfall comes on the speed of service and staff attitude. If you need to wait 20+ minutes to be able to place, receive and pay for your order then it's a problem. Hopefully they resolve it as it could definitely increase the enjoyment and for them much better revenue.

Very fun arcade bar. During the happy hour the prices are just perfect (18 SGD for a bottle of soju and 28 SGD for two cocktails). Plus it’s very cool that u get one coin (which can be used for the machines there) per drink you buy. There are also a billiard table and soccer table which u can use for free. The music genre ranges from old pop songs to kpop. Maybe it was my fault too but the venue was rlly rlly cold (at least for me). To be fair I went there with hot pants and a bandeau, so not rlly warming cloths, but I nearly froze to death. So I’d recommend going there with long trousers or a pullover. The bartenders and generally all staff there were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend 10/10!

Great place to hold large group team bonding here. Spacious place to hold 30+ groups easily, lovely ambiance, tasty food, affordable price. The live band is a highlight. Really love the singers and the songs they pick. Moreover, a variety of games to play, so nobody will get bored. They have a few video game machines, foosball, billiards, darts, dance pad, claw machine, to name a few. Even the girls who don’t drink can enjoy there.

Arrived at Level Up at just after 5pm. Place was empty aside from my friend and I. Prior to entry, the staff informed us that the arcade machines were yet to come online as it was still early. As a general rule of thumb, it is common decency to allow consumers to make decisions based on complete information, so two thumbs up for the staff at Level Up. The cocktails were decently priced at 2 for $25, which seemed to be the going rate for cocktails at the bars littered around Clarke Quay. The piña colada was delicious, and I thought it interesting that condensed milk/regular milk was used, although it was just a tad on the sweet side. Still pretty well-balanced. The lime margarita was standard and well-made too. Overall, it was a pleasant experience having drinks at Level Up, will be back for more.

It is a very special place for people to hang out, chill, and drink alcohol in Clarke Quay. It is extraordinary as this is a place that combines bar with arcades (dart, racing car, street fighter and etc). So you get to play, drink and spend good time with friends. They also have a standin singer for the music. Highly recommended.

Overall a good bar with the gimmick of a few bar games and some arcade machines. The music of the live band was good, but the volume was so loud, that I couldn't understand my partner sitting right next to me. Definitely rather a place to play table football or darts with friends without needing to talk. Drinks were on the pricy side, although comparable with the area. Each drink will get you a free token to use on the bar games/machines.

A rather new watering hole in Clarke Quay area with decent potential. The place could simply be described as an arcade cross-bred with bar. There were approximately 20 arcade machines covering darts, basketballs, boxing speed bag, table soccer, air hockey, beer pongs, and a pool table. The crowds were all younger working class. In-house bands play daily from 2030hrs onward (some day they start later at 2130hrs). Drinks menu was nothing out of ordinary albeit they could do special order (not on menu) when requested. Drinks taste were on the diluted side, pretty unremarkable. Price was pretty standard. Place is good for groups and company functions. Solo visitors could expect to be sharing table with strangers (which is great!) If the place is packed.

Level up is located at block A of Clarke quay. It has to be access from the small entrance when you walk from the bridge over from The Central. There’s normally a queue forming up. Do make reservation before hand. Purchasing of drinks allows for game coins which allows you to play arcade games such as basketball, pinball, hockey, street fighter etc. nostalgic as it reminds you of the old time. Drinks are affordable and food are generally nice. Try to get a seat away from the live band if you wish to speak. There’s live band also and really high as the nights goes. I highly recommend here.

Love the ambience. Haven’t touched any of these arcade games for years and somehow in a different context the machines feel appealing again. We even got something from the claw machine! However, the shots we ordered were a little mild, nobody tasted much alcohol. might need to try other stronger shots next time.

Awesome place to hang and chill!!! This is a gem. Thanks to my friend who introduced to us this place. Food selection is awesome. Corner reserves have minimum spend but it's worth it if u are going with a group of friends for a night out. Great bonding session. There are so many retro games available to play with. The interior is one-of-a-kind. Comic meets arcade meets up. I'm still excited thinking about it. Drinks and food are reasonably priced. Wanna go back again with my chingoos!!

Food was generally on the pricier end, and not that tasty, but portions were pretty sizeable. Service was not too bad, as the crowd gets a little busy, it is understandable we don’t get timely response for service, all good! 10/10 vibes obviously! Good music and good effort on the live band.

One of my favorite places since I like table games and fun nights! Its a hidden spot at Clark Q and It is going to be a wonderful experience for you too! You can get there by walk from the taxi stand near CQ or 10 min from Ckark Q MRT. Music is always fun and staff are very friendly and helpful! Drinks are fine too! We usually go for wine or beer! See you next time!

I found myself another cute happy place in Singapore! Imagine having good food, lots of choices for drinks, arcade, music, live band, pool table, darts, beer pong ALL IN ONE PLACE! I don't think people will get bored here. It is a great option to hangout with friends, colleagues, or even a date. Check it out if you haven't! I would have given it 5 stars if only we didn't have problems with some of the machines.

Great place to have fun in Clarke Quay. Tables have been increasing and there is less space to move around though. The games are fun and include arcade, pong and pool. Come here after dinner for some good, friendly fun!

Music extremely and unnecessary loud. Not sure singing or shouting. Drinks were sub par, I think they just want to sell beer. Concept is cool but machine not well maintained. More suitable for group activities.

Fun place for drinks and bar food. The more drinks you order, the more tokens you get for playing video games. Good prices on the drinks and happy hour specials. Weekends have live music. Great vibe.

Went there with my friends, ordered quite a few drinks but no food. The drinks were fine. The service was quite awful. First of all, one of the staff bumped into me while I was queening for the games, never apologized. Secondly, we ordered a pint and waited at least 45min for it (we ordered, paid and never got it, so we asked for it at least 5 times). Thirdly, one of the staff wanted to clean up the empty cups, but actually took all the glasses away, even the ones full of drinks, she never asked and we didn’t notice, when we saw, we went to tell her and she just said "oh I didn’t mean to", she never apologized or did any nice gesture. I understand that it was a busy night, however, there is a clear lack of organization in terms of waiters + a clear problem of personality of the waiters. I understand they have a hard job, but it doesn’t enable them to treat customer in a bad way.

Crowd are generally quite young. Age range are 19-29 mostly. Plays pop songs and good thing there is arcade to play. Drinks however are a disappointment. Costly I can understand but diluted? Ordered Yakult Soju...all I can taste is Yakult. Those mixers are rather diluted, even for the beer, they have those asahi dry..no Heineken nor Tiger. The crowds and songs are acceptable but not the drinks. U go try the mixers, u will understand what I meant.

The place is great for family gatherings as it has all the friendly family games. We came down as a company, Biqmind for a social gathering and all of us had fun. Thanks Jason. Pros.. Some classic games could be found. A free pool table but only one table thus if someone is hording it, it will be a long wait. Cons.. Some of the arcade games are down, like racing games and shooting games. If you want to play darts, it uses cash instead of tokens. Thus a down side. Mm Overall. Fun place to gather and mingle.

Good place to gather with friends and for couples too! A lot of games and drinks. Advise is to get a drink each and buy tokens seperately then you can have a time of your life playing the arcade games and bad games available! A nice and unique idea! Really loved the vibe here, especially with live music!

Was looking for a place with my company to celebrate for our colleague’s birthday. Everywhere was the same old and thus we decided to try out a place which we have not been before. As Singapore’s first-ever arcade-bar, Clarke Quay’s newest addition Level Up takes things, well, a level up – with not one, two, but a whole slew of over 10 game machines for you to enjoy as you tipple. Right from the get-go, you’ll know that Level Up isn’t any ordinary bar. Stepping in, you’ll be greeted with bright graffiti murals featuring characters from your favourite childhood video games – such as Street Fighter’s Chun-Li and Bub the dino from Puzzle Bobble – all expertly spray painted by local street artists! Even the toilets aren’t forgotten – they’re lined with hundreds of pages from old Archie comics! Now you’ll have something other than your dying phone to pass time with when bathroom queues get long. Level Up offers the standard drinks you’d find at most bars, at the usual prices – beer from about $9, and cocktails like Margaritas and Daiquiris for about $16. Of course, it’s never ideal drinking on an empty stomach, so they’ve got a couple of bar bites and small meals on the menu to get you raring for the fun night in store. Some items include Truffle Fries ($12) and Luncheon Meat Chips ($10) which are suitable for sharing. Every food or drink order will get you game tokens, and the number of tokens you’ll receive depends on your purchase. One drink will get you 2 tokens, which is just enough for 1 game. If the game tokens that come with your bar bites and beverages aren’t enough, feel free to purchase more at the following rates: • 2 tokens for $2 • 6 tokens for $5 • 15 tokens for $10 Overall is a good place to drink for a gamer.

Very noisy and very crowded (young crowd 20-30). A few games are quite fun. My record at the punching bag is 610. I would say good for 30 min / 1 hour of arcade fun before moving out for a quite and peaceful walk along the river.

I’ve never posted reviews but this is gonna be my first. Seen some on the service being poor and I can second that as well. This review goes for large groups. If you’re making reservations in advance, do confirm with them on the “real” policy they have because their own staff doesn’t seem to know which is which. We’ve made a reservation and was asked to just spend minimally of $50 per pax for the night for our group of 25- 30 and we were certain we are going to pass that price range quite safely. In fact we did over exceed that by quite a bit by the end of the night. Problem is when we sat down, they keep hounding you on their minimum spent, and then the “policy makers” are their waitresses who keep pushing you on their promo hendericks to meet the minimum spent. And it happens every 5 minutes and was even threatened to get our tables released if we do not spend. One waitress said by closing time. One waitress said by 1230am, and then there were these two, hounding us non stop with the little threats to release our tables if we do not spend immediately. I have a feeling I know maybe the venue has been “cheated” before due to them having many young kids looking for a hip drink place but the place being expensive comparatively to so many other places. Management needs to look into process of reservations and make clear before hand to customers.

Good place to hang out and play arcade games for big groups, however the drinking experience is subpar. Do not get their milo dinosaur cocktail speciality unless you want to pay $20 for normal milo dinosaur. There is virtually no alcohol in it! It is so devoid of alcohol that even my underaged younger cousin can drink it. The other alcohol options are pretty pricey too, unless it is during happy hour.

  • 4/5 Lim K. 4 years ago on Google
Amazing atmosphere and perfect to go on a weekday night when it's not crowded and most of the arcade games and dart machines are empty. However, the Milo "cocktail" was practically ice milo and there was no trace of any alcohol taste. Really disappointing for $20.
