Nice place for a Guinness and food on a Sunday. It’s in Orchard Towers so we had some affectionate couples sitting around - but what can you do.. Despite the odd name, have the fried Oreos. The fried pickle is nice but lacks a punch. I’ll be back.

Went to the drunken poet on a Thursday evening. The food was great loved the cheesy fries and chicken wings. Tried some of their signature cocktails with the rose, lavender, litchi, hydrangea. Pretty good suggestion and the host was very good at suggesting us the dribks. Overall great experience. The place has a comfi bar next door vibe 💕 with a good clean toilet✌️

What an amazing place! From the moment you enter the place it gives a different vibe compared to other bar. The atmosphere is really good and I totally immerse myself in it. Next let’s talk about food, the food was amazing.. i ordered a poet burger and Irish chicken ale. The poet burger patty was juicy and had lots of flavours in it, one of the best burger I had in Singapore. The chicken ale is definitely unique as the sauce are handmade and it’s really good. Tender, soft chicken. The price is definitely worth the visit to this place. recommended.

Lovely place to grab a pint or two after work. Atmosphere was quite chill and was a nice respite from the busy streets outside. Had the vodka-battered Fish N’ Chips, Truffle Battered Mushrooms, and Guinness Beef Pie. Heard that the Beef Pie was only available this month and it’s such a pity, it was so good! Generous portion of stew steeped with Guinness. The Fish N’ Chips tasted surprisingly light and fluffy, coated with crispy batter. Truffle Breaded Mushrooms were also great to pair with beer and are a nice alternative to the usual truffle fries. Definitely recommend this place if you’re in town! Also, shout out to great service from Ivy!

loved the ambience of this place, truly makes you feel like you’re in a pub in Europe. had the fish n chips and beef steak with mash and fried dough as sides. i really enjoyed the mash - has a good amount of butter and salt. the fried bread side was also really tasty and unique! goes great with the steak and mash. the fish and chips were also really tasty with a crispy outer mouthfeel and fluffy on the inside. it also pairs great with the sauces on the side. make sure to order a pint of guinness to savour with the food! truly a great way to spend quality time with friends over good food and beer~

This is easily one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Crispy batter and well-seasoned fish. The fries were on point, hot and crispy, flavourful! A place for BBQ pork ribs lovers if you prefer a sweeter BBQ flavour, with generous portions too!

I recently tried the Guinness Baby Back Ribs at The Drunken Poet and was pleasantly surprised by how good they were. The meat was tender and flavorful, and they looked amazing on the plate. Came here for some drinks after dinner quite a nice place to chill and have some beer. Is a little noisy but i guess its manageable. Tried the st james kiss and it was great, creamy and not too sweet hahaha! Price was okay too! Will be back again

Irish pub at orchard tower. The entrance is just outside of the pedestrian road. You don’t need to go inside of orchard tower or see dodgy places around there. Irish roast was good. But the veggies are undercooked to me. Shepard’s pie was more “wet” than usual Shepard’s pie and I like it 😉

Had a medium rare roast beef, taste is okay except for the Yorkshire pudding that came together, it doesn't taste like what I eaten before elsewhere. The Yorkshire pudding here is dryer. We are served compliment satay at the end of our meal. Not sure if because it is CNY or because we didn't get to enjoy the q for 1 offer due to public holiday.

Chanced upon this place when everything else was closed at 11pm. What a gem of a find. Lady waitress recommended trying their guiness, shepherd pie and ribs. Everything was great but special mention to the shepherd pie. Must try.

Love the fish and chip and we have gotten the calamari and onion ring add on which taste delicious. The batter was well made and i think they have probably one of the best onion ring in SG.

Terrible customer service.

The atmosphere was really cozy! I ordered the Bangers & Mash, the portion was big and it was really well-seasoned. It also came with some fried onion crisps which go really well with the soft texture of the mash! Ordered half a pint of Guinness, it was creamy and aromatic. I would definitely visit again!

Disclaimer: before deciding to walk in, I have reviewed some positive and negative comments. Today is my unlucky day and it seems the Poet is drunken and cooking my dish. It’s too salty and I tried to chew a small piece with beer but still salty and I left 2/3 of the dish to the cook for him to enjoy Xmas! Anyway, you made my Xmas Eve memorable! For any walk-in diners, the price in the menu will not include 18% of gst and service charge! Or the reason is that it’s Orchard?

Had dinner at the drunken poet yesterday and ordered the buffalo wings, the beef and the fish and chips. the buffalo wings were super huge and juicy, the sauce was a tad spicy and it went really well with the Guinness we had. The fish and chips were light and airy and fries were extremely crispy. They even provided malt vinegar which I love!!!! Beef were slightly dry but everything else on the plate was amazing - i esp love the sauce it came with!

The restaurant's location is very convenient, and the interior is tidy and has a good atmosphere. My friend and I ordered a pork chop, a beef steak, and some beer. The portions were quite large, and the food tasted good. The beer was also fresh. Overall, it's a great place to hang out with friends after work or on weekends for a drink or two, and the prices are reasonable.

A pleasant pub where you can just unwind with your friends. Good music that's not too loud. There was EPL football on TV as well. The food was good! Drunken poet is a great place to wind down after a long day of walk in town. They were generous with their food serving and food were served piping hot! Fish and Chips were extra crispy and I liked that I was given malt vinegar to go with it. I also had the Chef’s Babyback Ribs - very tender and flavourful! Love the chill vibes at the bar, perfect for drinks! Will definitely visit again!

A cozy pub with a really nice decor, a really nice place to enjoy a beer with friends. The food was homely and comforting, especially on the rainy day that we visited. The Roast Beef ($28) was tender, served with a nice savory Yorkshire pudding and mashed potatoes. The Beef and Onion Pie ($28) was hearty and flavorful, alongside the side of peas, potatoes and carrots. Overall, I enjoyed spending my time here catching up with friends over food and drinks. Would recommend this pub if you're ever in the area!

Nobody mentioned a print at the bottom of the menu which makes you pay a service charge and a government tax on top. Don’t mind leaving a tip when there is a choice and not forced/untold about it. Also service wasn’t there at all, no interaction from the staff behind the bar, just come and leave money with us. My card was taken away and payment taken without a PIN or my approval to use contactless payment. Had to check online banking if correct amount got charged. Poor business practise. 1/10 P.s The only two good things are a expat community there but again it’s not staff’s/management’s achievement. Interior is authentic, feels like back in London but without a decent service. The choice is yours lads.

A real decent and cozy place to dine with friends! Great service with delicious food as well. The staff were very welcoming and fun to talk with, even assisted with my friends to carry out the birthday celebration for me. Really thankful for this experience and their host. Highly recommended if you're looking for a place to chill and drink.

Had a really nice dinner experience drunken poet! The service was really prompt and the owner was very warm and welcoming, which she ensured that we were comfortable and had our needs met at every stage of the service. The ribs and shepherd's pie were amazing, with the ribs being really tender and juicy, while the pie being indescribably good. Would definitely be back!

Went there for lunch during my short stay in Singapore. Decent food and good ambience.

We ordered for takeaway due to Covid situation in SG. The whole process of pre-ordering was not the easiest. Finally managed to place our order, including Irish Breakfast pizza, buffalo & soy wings, and Shepherd’s pie. The Shepherd’s pie was definitely highlight of the meal though it’s crazily sinful but indulging of course. Overall, the food is acceptable but nothing over the top. So I don’t think we will be back soon.

The poet’s burger is so good. The patty was medium rare; juicy and tasty. The fried onions adds to the texture of the burger. I would definitely come back for more.

Decent place with mid range drinks. Not the most expensive but not exactly what I would call a.dive bar. It may have been a little crowded due to rugby world cup but still a little crowded for my taste. Overall if you aren't into the whole clubbing scene it's a location worth checking out while in the area. Next time if there are less patrons I hope to try the food. Will be visiting for an updated review if I find myself in the area.

Tried the Guinness Pie, and what lies beneath the crispy puff is savoury gravy and stewed beef briskets with potatoes and carrots. Warm your hearts with this delicious dish. The Fish n Chips came in a whole filleted barramundi, well battered in house beer and fried to perfection. Staffs on site were courteous, attentive and efficient! Absolutely wonderful experience!

Easily one of the best fish and chips I have ever had! It was so crispy and even came with an incredible portion size and a generous amount of sides. The fries were also really crispy and the salad was great too! Would recommend pairing it with an ice cold Guinness as a drink to really get the full experience of an Irish bar! The meal was so good that I even found myself craving it again the next day! Will definitely come back again!
