the place is cosy and service is good . Food wise could be a little better as the old menu with the 1 mouth gyoza was better than the current menu.

One of my favorite bars! It's located in the Forum Shopping Mall which I thought, at first, was a bit of an odd location for a fancy bar. However once you enter the establishment, you feel like you are part of an underground speakeasy. The Japanese decor and ambiance is really cozy and inviting. We spent 2 hours here but they went by in a flash. There were a variety if cocktails available and the drinks were quite strong so you get good value out of the experience. There were three to four bartenders making and serving drinks so you won't have to wait too long for your next drink.

Go for the omakase dinner! The platter of seasonal appetizers harkens back to the hassun dish that Chef Kashiwabara Yoshiyuki used to prepare in Yoshi - the simmered fig topped with miso is my all-time favourite. The soup dish - Hokkaido corn soup with junsai (water shield) is hearty and flavourful. The grilled dishes are executed very well, with standouts being the tebasaki, manganji peppers, and baby corn. To round off the meal on a deeply satisfying note, a grilled onigiri is served with mentaiko and pickled wasabi greens in a dashi broth, a swoonsome combination. We were recommended 2 sakes (Nanbu Bijin Tokubetsu Junmai, and Yoshikubo Ippin Junmai Daiginjo) which were lovely and just disappeared without us realizing. Overall it was a great dinner experience! Well worth the price.

We dropped by on a Saturday night for a quick drink and some bites before a show elsewhere. Real tasty, good quality cocktails, and they certainly are not stingy with the alcohol! Our Old Fashioned and another chamomile gin cocktail were fabuloussss, almost wanted to order another round if not for the fact that we had to rush off. The lotus chips and octopus leg (perfectly fried, not too oily, and still so juicy and tender!) were quite addictive too. Ambience is moody and romantic, dim lighting and hypnotising art with modern edgy decor. The only drawback for some might be the slightly higher price point. But for the quality of drinks, food, and atmosphere, I believe it's worth it at least as an occasional treat or date night! Would intend to come back to try more of their menu.

First visit to this bar and definitely not the last! Love everything about this bar from the vibe to the food! Located in the basement of the Forum shopping centre, this Japanese bar was cosy and crowded on a Saturday night. We had the brussel sprouts, oyako don, salmon aburi mentai maki and skewers. Absolutely love the food here especially their signature Brussel Sprouts. It was so good we were tempted to order a second serving. Will definitely be back to try other cocktails and food on their menu!

This is my first time there and it was an impromptu dinner arrangement so I had no expectations at all. We ordered from the grill menu and we tried the sparkling sake. The food was perfectly executed... the quail eggs, though grilled, still had a runny yolk and the charred and smokey flavour from the bincho came through in all the food we ordered. We were recommended to try the chicken ramen, which is a signature dish. Apparently the broth is made from 40kg worth of French poulet chicken... which explains why it's so flavourful and full of collagen and umami. Jack, the in-house sake sommelier was a very good host. For sake lovers... this is one of 3 restaurants in Singapore that serve draft sake and the only one that has a custom chiller so that the temperature of the sake is just right. There's a wide variety of sake and the right menu to pair with the drinks. A very nice place to enjoy Japanese grill and sake. Sit at the bar if you can and get to know the staff who make the food... they are a friendly bunch with interesting stories to share... if you are willing to listen.

Nice hidden bar with 3 separate discreet entrances. Nice ambience and great spread of spirits. Has an interesting menu of cocktails and wide selection of foods provided by the ramen shop above and the Japanese restaurant next door. Easily located down orchard road with convenient parking nearby as well. Well worth a visit!

The place is quite cool and hidden. It feels like you have discovered a secret place when you arrive. Recommend trying the cocktails, even though they are expensive. I personally tried the Old Fashioned and the Asian Rum Sour. I preferred the Asian Rum Sour. Both were prepared by Axel. It was almost full on a Wednesday evening. The service is also friendly. I am not sure of what to say about the food as I only tried the sashimi. Not too used to smoked sashimi. To be fair, I read through a few other reviews and the comments on the food was also similar.

We had an enjoyable time here on a Friday night. Drinks were very good, my favorite was a cocktail called ‘#12’ I think. Bar snacks were yummy as well and went well with the drinks. Ambience was lovely! Can only imagine how much nicer it will be if there was some music (not allowed now due to covid restrictions). Will be back one day! Good date night place for hubby and I :)

What a great experience we had at Nomi dining Bar. The food was quite innovative and tasted impeccable. You can have different style dishes like sashimi, tempura, yakitory style - works for every taste! The staff was professional and attentive, hence I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant.

Amazingly good, great food, great people, great service and definitely love the mysterious cosy ambience. Professional, confident and knowledgable bartender V. Loved the Valentines menu, great beef cuts, tender, juicy, succulent and melts in your mouth. Rich creamy texture and one bite makes you continue wanting another. Definitely one of the best and freshest sashimi we tasted, though some of the fish selections may be considered to be changed, would recommend to keep the Salmon, Scallop and Maguro. The bespoke cocktails are the starlight of the day, great recommendations by V and my SO had 3 different recommended and 'delicious' cocktails. I wouldnt use delicious for liquor but ironically we only enjoy liquor that are not bitter and V made our day by fulfilling our request. I had a normal Mojito and should had tried asking for a sweeter version which I had elsewhere like a 'lychee Mojito' instead. Overall enjoyed our night and thanks to the service staff for squeezing our reservations in with such short notice. Kudos to you guys!

Wow.... This place had no sign board and you can go in via signboard that says Yoshi resturant. We had this amazing host who asked for our choices of the kind of drink we would like to have and based on our desire and description, the drink was made. The taste was amazing... And don't forget there Japanese style fried chicken... Yummy and perfect combo for your cocktails. Would love to go back again n again n again....

Thoroughly enjoyed the takeaway delivery we did with Yoshi and the Horse's Mouth. Had the japanese omakase takeaway, and we just ordered whatever chirashi dons we felt like having. They were lovely, although the japanese rice that came with the chirashi was a little more sour than I'd expect (more Osaka style). Fish were fresh, delivery packaging well thought through, and very prompt even though they were also serving patrons in store. Will recommend them for dining at home.

Wine quality was so bad, we couldn’t finish the pour. Second time, we were offered a taster which was decent with soft oak finish. However, when the glass came, it comes with an obvious different tone which brings us to question the honesty of the staff there.

Hidden bar in orchard with an extended selection of Japanese cuisine on the menu to go with drinks. Good for date nite. Expect a spending of min $100 per pax with 1 or 2 drinks.

Very memorable experience at horse mouth! Very attentive and considerate staff(will knee down and talk to you level cause table is shorter abit) Lighting gets super dark after a certain time definitely creating a mood.. Maybe on a date would be an interesting experience.. They have low and bar table seating so maybe have to indicate ur preference when reserving there.. Their maguro specials is a 100% must try if visiting there.. very good cut of sashimi(100% melt in mouth level).. Their bespoke cocktail is very on point! On the pricey side though.. If couples come, order carefully dont over order.. Come as a group do try more smaller dishes and maybe a maguro specials to end the meal! A must try for all
