Cool spot for creative cocktails and a chill night. The cocktails were great, with an artsy flair. View was nice looking over the field at the city and Marina Bay. Drinks are a bit steep on cost...but somewhat expected for rooftop bars. Food was good...but I would say it is more of a drink spot then dinner spot. I would definitely go back.

A great view, very thoughtful cocktails with storyline and special design!! Respect the efforts they put in the design of cups and the experience that comes with each signature cocktail, leading to so much interaction with customers. Our team had a great time here. Truffle fries were great, staff was attentive and very welcoming - helped us a lot in deciding what to drink!

It might not be the best drink, but the atmosphere is definitely the best. Even though there’s a $60 per person minimum spend for outdoor seating, it seems to be fully booked already. The bar is on the 6th floor with the restroom on the 5th, so there’s a bit of a walk. The menu has a very interesting design. The waiters are very busy and seem a bit unwilling to talk. But they are okay with helping us take photos when we ask. My drink was Sticky Fingers, very sweet and almost like a dessert drink. It was lovely.

The atmosphere is amazing and I managed to get in without a reservation on a Saturday night at about 10pm. The staff were very friendly and unpretentious. I wasn't particularly impressed with the cocktail I ordered, a rosemary gimlet. It tasted of bad gin without much of anything else, but I guess you're paying for the view. Prices are in line with other cocktail places in Singapore (expensive). The music is also quite loud so don't plan for a quiet conversion.

If you want a good rooftop bar with a really good view I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE!! We were on more rooftop bars and this was the best one. The service was super friendly and the view just wow! You should reserve before, and of course the prices are a little bit higher but I think on all rooftop bars! Really creative cocktails!

I recently dined at Smoke and Mirrors and had a mixed experience. The food was just okay, nothing to write home about. The cocktails were so-so, and the service didn't wow me. However, the breathtaking views from the restaurant were truly amazing. The only downside was that it felt a bit too warm, and the chairs weren't very comfortable. I might come back when I have tourists visiting, for its view overlooking Marina Bay Sands, but definitely not for the food or service…

located on the rooftop of the national gallery, the themes of each cocktail intersect beautifully with the pieces in the museum downstairs. each drink very intricately woven and explained to the customer. quite an interesting experience haha, good vibes, good views. will be back ! especially now i know the menu changes !!

We love the Ambience and atmosphere. The view is amazing. We would said the finger bites taste were so so, nothing yummy. We guessed this place are strongly recommended for drinking and the scenic views. We strongly recommend Smoke in the water. We would said the service needed to be improved. We had hard times to get hold of the staffs. And staff promised to get us candles and mask were forgotten. We ordered 4 cocktails 1) flowers in the afternoon 2)By the Padang 3)smoke in the water 4)Bananas in a glass After finishing them, we wanna to order one more. So we asked the bartender to recommend us and was served the same “Bananas in a glass”. We managed to get another drink, however the taste was the same as Bananas in a glass, only that the serving style was different ( photo 1). We suspected that he jus poured the previous drink into another glass and served us. Overall, great place for chillax. To the management, ps look 👀 into the service standard.

This cool place is hidden in the 5th floor of the National Gallery of Singapore. The view is awesome, and has good food and drinks 🍸🥃🥂 Happy hour is from 3pm to 5pm. They are on reservation basis, so make sure to book your slot in advance 😉 We've tried the spicy chicken quesadilla, beef cheek with mashed potatoes, fried wings. For drinks we had Asperol Spritz, Lillet Spritz, Campari Orange, Negroni and Manhattan. Kath and the rest of the staff were accomodating. The staff definitely knows how to keep their customers happy. Thanks for the good service, will definitely come back again.

This place has been in my bucket list for a very long time. And it was even better than what we expected! We were even fortunate to catch a sneak peek of the ndp show and a short few minutes of test fireworks! Kudos to the staff for their outstanding service, tasty food and well rounded drinks. Will definitely be back for the next change in menu.

The views were amazing but the drinks were more gimmicky than good. The price is high for the quality of the drinks. If they were tasty and expensive then it would make sense since you’re getting the view. Overall, if you’re coming for the view then it’s worth just one drink.

We stumble with Smoke & Mirros by chance and decided to just walk in here. They are crowded and It’s better to make reservation beforehand. Fortunately we got a table for 1 hours and have dinner here. You can dine in after strolling around the national gallery then eat while see the MBS from here. We ordered Pizza and chicken leg, pizza was good but the chicken leg is not my cup of the tea. Unique part of their restaurant they have signature cocktails with history and story behind every cocktails. I ordered one that called let’s get inked and got fake tatto that match my drink.

Came here to celebrate my sis’ birthday. The food is great for a bar. And the view is amazing. Outdoor seating came with 60$ min spending per pax which was easy to hit. The service is amazing:)

A place with amazing views. More a drinking place. Despite this, food is good. This place is not easy to find within the building. There isn't enough signboard to show where it is. Got to a bit of guessing. Accessibility can be a challenge as I cannot find an elevator that reaches the floor where its at.

Damn nice will be there once again it was very humid and hot tho. One thing I disappointed was they made the calculation mistake on our bill. But when I complained about this, the staff quickly responded to void and made the correct payment. Everything was perfect other than this :)

The pandemic has affected a lot of businesses negatively. And smoke and Mirrors is not immune from its effects, so take this into account before reading on. Smoke and mirrors simply is not what it was. On arriving for my most recent visit, (end October 2021) I noticed the older, more elegant high backed chairs had been replaced with cheaper outdoor chairs. We elected to sit inside at first to avoid the rain, and my date was directed to a seat cushion that had been repaired with black duct tape. The black side tables for resting your drinks on were also showing signs of sever weathering and water damage. Walking up to the cashier a large mess of boxes and other items was easily visible in the back of house area, adding to the dilapidated feel. After a brief stay inside the rather gloomy atmosphere of the indoor section, we elected to go outside and enjoy the view. This is still the highlight of this venue. Unfortunately. the cocktails are not as good as other nearby locations, (I also remember them being better a few years ago) and the service is slow. But if you want to get a great view of MBS Ma the area as the sun sets, this is still a great spot.

My second time at Smoke & Mirrors. Nothing can beat its view - it has the much coveted front row Marina Bay Sands view, and cityscape on both Raffles Place and City Hall areas. Really wonderful view and perfect if you are a views person. Drinks were quite decent too. Their interesting menu links each of their cocktails with an art piece. You can scan the QR code on the menu to check out the art that inspires your cocktail. Quite a cool experience and connects the guests with the national gallery just downstairs.

Nice place to good views when sitting outdoors. Has a very good collection of whisky, gin and rum for the ones who prefer to try out different liquors. Decent food options as well. Would recommend :)

Outstanding service, despite being busy. We were shown to our table promptly but weren't hurried for the duration. A wonderful opportunity to relax and enjoy the delectable cocktail selection! For anyone unfamiliar, the view of the Marina is spectacular. The music is perfect for the venue. Only challenge is navigating the national gallery to get there - but worth getting lost for!

Rated as one of the Top bars in Asia, Smoke and mirrors lives up to the hype. The views from top are gorgeous, panning a picturesque view of Marina Bay. The cocktail menu is quirky, with flavors and stories of Singapore weaved in, priced at the higher side of $25 and upwards (which is pretty standard for top bars in Singapore.) An ideal date night place, reservations are mandatory unless you want to chance a walk-in and might get lucky. Food menu is limited to snacky bar food, good for a light nibble with drinks. Staff is polite and friendly and also offered us a birthday drink which was a super sweet gesture. It's a star short in review because while the vibe and view is spot on, cocktails weren't exceptional. Many other speakeasy do a better job, and would have expected a bit more from this place. Still highly recommended to visit and experience.

We loved this roof top bar which had brilliant views across to the Marina Bay Sands. The cocktail menu is imaginative & all come with specially designed glasses with some more pleasing on the eye than others (check out ‘The Wish’ which is a mini Trevor fountain!). 1 to not miss!

So me and my finace found this place hand delivering a pizza from a local bar after making friends with the owners. My word! I did not know what I was getting myself into. This venue has the nicest and most generous hospitality staff. Great conversations were had along with equally as good cocktails (thank you for all the free shots and champagne to celebrate our recent engagement). You know a place is this good when you don't even need to mention the views...which are in my opinion the best in all of singapore. Come here.

View from here is great. You see the marina bay sands hotel aswell as the rest of Singpores skyline. Drinks cost a lot but so does the area in general so it's expected. They explain the menu and drinking menu perfectly. My photography skills ain't to great I apologise. 10/10

Fantastic place with amazing cocktails..10/10 would make this my apocalypse home. We were several drinks down with recommended drinks based on our preference before even deciding to see the menu. Edu our bartender welcomed us like an old friend which made the experience best.

My daughter and I spent a lovely Sunday evening at Smoke and Mirrors during our Singapore holiday. Don’t let the confusing walk through a museum at night put you off. Don’t let the fact you don’t drink put you off, if that applies to you, as they have great n/a cocktails. And don’t let the prices put you off - a unique place and location. Unlike many of the other bars which trade off their view (MBS I am looking at you) this place is the height of understated sophistication with the drinks to match. Highly recommended, but expect to spend some money.

Great view and fun cocktails. We ordered a few different types, Singapore sling, moves like jigger, monochrome and woks that smell. All unique. The woks that smell tasted exactly like woodfire smoke, the moves like jigger came out on a bed of dry ice so was fun to watch steam. Monochrome was probably our least favourite but oddly tasted like paper and graphite. Good to come for a cocktail - food was average - come for drinks, dine elsewhere

Probably the best views in town. Sit at the bar to take it all in and talk with the bartender. Drinks are phenomenal and typical pub food—-don’t go here for a meal, although not bad picking food at all.

Fabulous roof top view of the Padang and MBS is worth it. Good cocktails and decent bar bites with a few vegetarian options. Great service, and we received complimentary cocktails for our anniversary celebration.

Came here twice & I really do enjoy their drinks. Only down side is that if you're sitting outside & there's no breeze... Be prepared to sweat. If you're seated inside, some areas don't really get any aircon at all so it can get stuffy. Service & drinks are good, but not super comfortable when you're sweating.

If you are coming here, its for the view. Even though saturated at a rather short height of level 6, the eye level view of the city is worth this place a visit. There's indoors and outdoor seating but you would definitely want to be on the outside. Not posting anything regarding to the view cause no spoilers yea😅 just some advice, it's expensive so prepare your wallet or card. And do try to reserve your table AT least 2 weeks in advance. The walk in tables are really not worth it and it's at a very bad position. Indoors table are air conditioned

Delicious & Innovative Cocktails paired with a Great View. We came here without reservation, but it was no issue. They have “outdoor” and “indoor” area, but really it’s an open-aired venue. Definitely a common date-night spot or spot for several friends to gather for a good drink. We’re big cocktail people and we were impressed. If you have a particular style, they’ll point you in the right direction of what will suit your fancy. The menu is also one of those that directs you towards particular styles (boldness, flavor, etc.). Some interesting concepts embedded in their drinks as well. We really liked the tea-inspired cocktail that came as a set of two and only utilized Japanese liquor - pretty unique. Service was superb and we wouldn’t hesitate to return when we come back to Singapore.

Smoke and mirrors has been on my list for a while. While the atmosphere and service were great, I was disappointed with one of the cocktails I ordered. I ordered one of their signature cocktail Beyond The Canyon, but it tasted really bad. There was nothing other than a sour taste, and I couldn't taste any alcohol at all. I even asked my friend to try it, and they agreed that there was no alcohol taste at all. It felt like the alcohol was forgotten to add in, making it the worst drink I've ever had. I was really looking forward to trying this cocktail, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. I hope the bar can improve the quality of their cocktails in the future

What a poor service! Booked a table for 8.30pm: table was not ready, had to wait 20min and another 30min before getting our first drink! No customer care at all: waiters seemed to have better things to do rather than take our orders. What a pity because the view is very nice and drinks are interesting even if the basic cocktail list is quite small. Will not be back due to wait and poor customer service.

This place is spectacular! It has one of the best view in Singapore, situated on the sixth floor of National Art Gallery. The bar oversees the whole skyline of Singapore. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our anniversary at Smoke & Mirrors. The food was amazing too! We ordered the lobster pasta, beef tenderloin and roast pork. All were delicious! Would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a low-key romantic dating spot! Can't wait to go back!~

Everything goes according to my plan and it was very well executed with the cake and gift I drop off at smoke and mirrors earlier in the day. To my surprise every staff knows the plan exactly. The food and drinks are excellent and the view is magnificent. Will definitely visit again!

Wonderful afternoon cocktail. Not your run of the mill cocktails - really nice unique concoctions. Interesting experience explained upfront. Very crispy shoestring fries although not sure the truffle mayo was that truffle-y. Fantastic view.

I would have given it a one star but because they do have a good view, I gave it a two. To be honest I would expect a better service for a rooftop cocktail bar that comes with a price. I went there last night and the server was very rude, never smiled at all and very sarcastic. If I'm not mistaken, her name is Linda or Lina - long ponytail hair. I would not want to expect a golden standard of service from this bar, think just do a basic service with a smile and don't be rude to your customer. That's all. Amazing location, great to watch national day, fireworks etc in Singapore. Great range of spirits including the Nordes Gin that makes a superb Gin and Tonic. Perfect venue for sipping cocktails and catching up.

Yes, yes, a million times YES. This is the place to go for drinks, bites, and a gorgeous view of Singapore's MBS, cricket field, and a plethora of other sites. Reserve a table outside, ask for comfy chairs! The cocktail menu is off the charts in creative, exotic drinks and worth every penny. Put your phone down and be in the moment. It is an extraordinary experience and one I hope to recreate again soon.

It serves only the home created ones, which is good, but maybe 2/3 classics should be added. But that's a minor thing. Overall, very good.
