Small and cozy bar. Do go early before 730pm to guarantee a seat. It fits no more than 30 ppl. It’s pretty quiet except for the once a while crowd at the lift area. In fact it location is interesting. I wonder the location is on purpose. They do have a wide selection of gin but their pairing and recommendation is quite basic. They don’t really have much specialty here and they pair their gin with fever tree. What’s annoying they do not inform you that there is additional charge. Very sneaky. For the ambience yes, drinks soso, price on the high side because nothing out of the box.

Amendment Jan 2020 - much improved in terms of both quality of drinks and the services. Original: A gin themed bar and i would recommend to go for the non-G&T cocktails. To be honest, a bit less competitive comparing to other gin themed bar in Singapore.

Ace place for couple of drinks with Mates especially if you are a gin lover , fine place for drinking and enjoying some relax, peace for the night . Always one of favourite places to chill and drink. *Easily access from Esplanade mrt (Exit F) towards South beach Tower

If you're going to position your bar as something for gin connoisseurs and charge $30 a pop, please make sure the goods taste like gold. No recommendation attempts were made and the Old Fashioned I ordered was the one of the worst I had as it tasted like a straight bourbon. I knew what I was in for when the drink came with ice cubes. Nice space but nothing more than a display shop. Will not be going back.

The place looks good and it’s quiet in the day. Probably would be a good place for a business meeting if u are in the area, that is if you are willing to pay for the overpriced drinks. NEVER have breakfast there. They took some time to serve our pastries so we were expecting them to be hot at least. The pastries came cold and hard, and tasted horrible. Moreover, they were extremely overpriced. The hot drink came luke warm, as if it was prepared in another restaurant and travelled through the cold corridors. We paid twice as much as what we would have paid at a mainstream cafe, and yet the breakfast tasted half as good. Would have failed them if not for the ambience and decent service.

If you love Gin, you'll love Tonic (Inside JW Marriott)! As a fan of Gin, I was delighted to find out that there was a Gin bar right in my hotel. They have a huge selection of Gin, so there's definitely something for every palette and even my favorite Super Tuscan (Sassicaia). Being in the JW Marriott, it's priced accordingly. Approximately $25-$30 SGD for a Gin + East Imperial Tonic.

This bar is famous for different mix of Gin. Though I’m not a gin person, it does provide a refreshing experience. Love their decor which feels like a cosy little library. And on the way out, do enjoy the Fernando Botero great artwork (my favourite artist) by the lobby-after all it’s a million dollar apiece 😆.

I'm a huge fan of gin and tonic and I can truly recommend this place both if your going for a traditional GT or a more adventurous option like a flavoured gin and a cucumber tonic. They have a good selection of gin and also several types of tonic.

A cozy hidden place with very cute G&Ts. A bit pricey, but still acceptable.

I came to this JW South Beach Hotel for brief tour before begin my stayaction later Went to Tonic bar for light lunch ordering cocktail and Fish Finger & Chips When meal come , this is not what I expected I was given one big fish fillet and chips Nevertheless it is nice

Disappointed with JW marriot ... cold service attitude, and I asked for a Baileys Coffee as I always ordered one whenever I visit each country. And by far, this place has the worst baileys coffee cocktail .. i don't know what I was drinking.. bland coffee no baileys .. and it has the most expensive price , compared to all over world I've tried this drink. I'm sorry to say this.. 😔

Gins are alright but they seemed to be overwhelmed by the crowd. Drinks service is a bit slow.

Located in the JW Marriott lobby. We stopped for a drink before our long flight back. The bar is small but has an exceptionally rich menu with a variety of gin beverages. It's expensive.

A real cosy bar compared to the grandeur of Atlas. The bartender on Saturday evening, June, was really warm and welcoming. Her knowlegde of the less-seen gin varieties and the recommended pairing with mixers made it less intimidating when you don't know most of the brands.

This place is a little fancy, but you can't expect anything less for a place located within JW Marriott. There's a wide assortment of Gins, and the bartenders know how each one of them pair with one another. Their passion for Gins definitely do shine through. Do take note, that they're part of the Marriott group, so there's 20% off for Platinum members!

Stop in for a friendly conversation and great staff. Try the local spirit. Hours are limited and they close ad midnight. Perfect place for a quiet nightcap and a conversation with a friend. As part of the Marriot complex you will receive top service and exceptional quality.

An outstanding selection of spirits and their raw ingredients combined with a Wonderful staff with a deep mixicological knowledge and magical powers make this a must visit if you want a good drink in Singapore.

I paid $30 for a watered down 'supreme' which was some house-concocted drink that is all guava juice. What a rip off. Steer clear, very clear. The staff was also very unhelpful and unresponsive.
