It was an enjoyable birthday celebration. The service was good, we were served by Lalo who was cheerful, thoughtful and gave us good recommendations. We had the pasta and steak, both were delicious. The additional garnish of fries was way too much, wish they could have a choice of small, medium or large portions. The pasta with juicy clams was delicious but could have been more. Finally, the surprise of the night was the 20 layer cake, filled with chocolate and peanut butter mascarpone. Too full to finish the cake between the 2 of us so we took away the remainder. Lastly the view from the outdoor segment was amazing. Price wise, for the views and Marina Bay brand, definitely steep but worth the splurge for a special occasion.

We had a great wait staff serving us that night - grateful that she proactively advised me to cut down on the orders as we were really stuffed with what we had and had some takeaways as well. The pizza and pasta dishes were delicious. Unfortunately, can’t say the same for the steak - we had 2 orders of the porterhouse with different doneness but both came more or less the same. In addition, the meat was a bit grainy and tough. Overall good dining experience with the food and service and would have given 5 star had it not been the steak quality.

Great Atmosphere and dining experience at the top of one of the most iconic hotels in the world 🌎 with breathtaking city views. We had the eggplant for an appetizer and Salmon plate and Sea Bass for main dishes which were both delicious and cooked just right. Then we finished our dinner off with an amazing Tiramisu dessert with an unforgettable presentation to a mouthful of happiness. We’ve stayed at Marina Bay Sands many times but this was our first time to try LAVO but definitely not our last. I comfortably and highly recommend for a night to remember! LOVE, LOVE LOVED IT! heart ❤️ ❤️❤️

View and service were great, music and food however weren’t the best. Margherita pizza was slightly bland (was nicer eating it with the spicy marinara sauce from the fried calamari). Fried calamari and French fries were great - hard to go wrong. Ended dinner with the complimentary birthday dessert - was the best of all! Overall price is steep but worth visiting for the view on special occasion :)

We came here to celebrate our anniversary with a romantic setting and wonderful view. Being on the top floor of MBS, the view is superb and the setting of the restaurant was romantic and classy. The food though good, we felt it could not compare to Spago next door. For the price we are paying, we had expected better. In fact, we returned our steak as we requested for medium rare but was served medium to us. Though they have a wide wine selection, the first two bottles of red we ordered were not available. The octopus leg was delicately prepared and very palatable though. Overall, we had a good time albeit the unavailability of our choices of wines and slightly below expectations for the food

PLEASE 🙏 Take me back NOW This place deserves 6 🌟 The service, the view, the food and the drinks were top-notch..Even down to the toilets. Lots to look at and very quirky. We came here for a late birthday celebration 🎂 and we also wanted a view to die for while we ate. We had an inside table as we didn't realise we needed a little more time in advance to book. However, after we ate we asked if we could sit on a table outside for a couple of drinks. The staff made sure we had a perfect spot within seconds and also gave me a surprise birthday cake. Wish this restaurant was in my country.

Been here for my brother’s birthday dinner while we were in Singapore for a short vacation! Their food is good, quantity is good for 2 to be frank! Most of their dishes are good for sharing! The staff is super friendly, welcoming and comforting! Skip sitting indoors with an air conditioned closed dining and move to the outdoors, to enjoy your food and drinks with some amazing views of the city!

We had a beautiful birthday dinner here, made better thanks to professional and friendly service, delicious Italian food, and a chill, cozy ambience. The music can be quite upbeat that is similar to a club but softer, adding to the relaxed yet personal dining experience. Thank you to the team for a wonderful experience in the sky.

This is a great place for all occasions. The view is magnificent and so are the food. The staff was very professional and attentive to everyone equally. But the managers might want to go to the back of the restaurants to talk about their unhappiness. As I could hear the full conversation they were having during my dinner. But it did not ruin the mood, as it was like watching live TV drama. All in all it was a marvelous experience. Highly recommend you guys to dine here. :) Saw a lot of couples on anniversary dates.

Delicious food, plenty of options. I visited with a few people, who had varying dietary requirements, and Lavo offered a wide variety of choices for everyone. It was fairly pricey, however the servings were generous and cooked to perfection. The bread starter was delicious, the subtle cheese on the crust was perfect. They brought out more bread upon request. The views were stunning, we managed to align our visit with perfect weather. Thanks for a great meal!

We went there on Saturday night without reservation and could only get bar table. We ordered steak, salmon, salad and cake. Despite the not so comfortable table and chair, the food was very good. Tasty and well presented. The steak was tender and juicy. Really loves the salmon. And the service also very good. Overall, good experience and will definitely come back.

My husband and our friends went there for lunch. The food I must say is really good. ‘The Meatball’ is massive, can be shared by 2-3 person. The staff is attentive on refilling the water when needed. However, when we are about to pay after giving us the bill, the staffs are not very attentive enough and we need to keep on looking for someone who can attend to us for the payment. All of them are either busy with attending other customers or is not looking at us. It took us 5-10 minutes before we are able to pay. But this doesn’t affect the overall experience.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing view of Singapore cityscape. The calamari and pizza was yummy. Cold cut is little salty and pasta was abit lack lustre. More effort can be improved on the pasta dishes. Service was attentive, waitresses top up our water frequently too.

Located on the 57 floor of the MBS Hotel Tower 1, it is recommended to make prior bookings before coming down as walk ins are almost impossible to get during peak hours. Just the view of the city from the outdoor dining area is worth 5 stars already. From the start the servers are friendly and attentive. You'll be asked if you want sparkling or still water (bottled, chargeable) or you can simply ask for tap water that's free. A free starter of bread and dips were also served. The food prices are not cheap. The appetizers range from 20 and upwards whilst the mains are around 40 and upwards. You can expect to spend around 80 per person here at least. Whilst it is expensive to dine here, I feel it's worth the money for the ambience and also the tasty food. The lobster bisque was the first to come and it blew my mind already. Absolute stellar, the aroma from the bisque was as though 10 lobsters went into making it. We also had the seafood cheese penne pasta, t bone steak, chicken parmigiana, some fried fish dish. All of which were amazing. The total damage for 4 of us came up to around $650. Not cheap but this isn't your everyday meal also as well. Perfect if you wanna impress a date or have a special evening here.

Went for dinner at LAVO. Ambience was very warm, cozy, romantic (albeit rather formal vibes). Little touches like the retro old mirror and toilet reminds you of the prohibition period Warm bread was served(the best warm bread and tomato sauce I have eaten) The waiter that serve my table was exceptional , professional and friendly Food was stunning, especially the New York strip. Slightly charred on the skin to give it that crunchy and smoky taste, cooked to perfection. Truffle sauce that accompanied it was nice but not a good paring with steak All in all dishes were well done. Except the snow crab portion…. is quite small for a main dish Prices are on the high side but it does come with an exceptional view

Came here for some evening drinks. Atmosphere and decor fits the setting. Amazing views all around. Staff were friendly and professional. The cocktails were of high quality and well presented. You can start a tab which is convenient. However the two annoying things were the price which is noticeably expensive and that last drinks were at 11:30pm… otherwise thoroughly enjoyed my evening here.

The short story is that you go here for the view. The mains were good but nothing to special. The desserts were excellent. If you book an inside table you'll be disappointed at the cost to view ratio. While there are lots of tables, only about 7 or 8 have really nice views of the city (night time city lights are really great). If you get one of these you won't mind the$20 beers or $140 bottle of Australian wine which is really only $20 if you bought it yourself. If I had my time again, I'd go to a better restaurant with no view and go to an observation deck. And don't turn up early for a drink while you wait. They don't do this, you'll just be waiting.

Sunday brunch (buffet) Atmosphere: 5/5, the rooftop view of the marina bay and gardens is breathtaking. Interior layout is comfortable and upscale too. Food: 3.5/5, there are lobsters and snow crab on ice but the lobsters are not quite fresh, dry and shrivelled with discolouration. The snow crabs are really sweet and juicy but require quite some effort to crack it with scissors provided. The pizzas are really good, good cushy texture and flavour. The desserts are very good, fattest strawberries, decadent pistachio tarts, dark rich chocolates, save space for the dessert! Service: 4/5, Staff are very attentive and cheerful, always ready to help and filling up the water, bringing extra towels without request. Cost: $98++ per pax just for food, only water. Higher tier price with champagnes and juices. Great for special occasion, come early. There was a already a queue at 1130am before it opens at 12pm. Dress code, no sandals but saw a few queuing with sandals, questionable strictness.

Had a lot of fun here, the food was great. Authentic Italian food was served. Enjoyed by the service. They have strict dress policy so beware of that. I tried Margarita Pizza and Garlic bread. Both were amazing. A lot of good picture spots are here. This restaurant is on the top floor of Marina Bay.

One of the best restaurants i have ever been. The view is marvelous, the food is good and the staff is very nice... Just do your prior reservation and things will be good for you! A must visit place if you in Singapore. The property is well maintained and food is nice... Their 20 layer cake is a bit hyped but thier other desserts are really good and yummy...

Wonderful view So great for sunset We were also able to catch the Super Tree Grove light show at 7:45 and then run to other side to watch the Spectra Water & Light show at 8:00 We only ate the truffle gnocchi & giant 1 pound meatball, be forewarned it is a meal all by itself. The meat ball was great quality meat, my hubby said it was dry for his taste and the sauce saved it but I felt it was pretty juicy, so to each their own The truffle gnocchi was absolute PERFECTION. The gnocchi was a good size and not to soft or mushy like it can get sometimes. The truffle flavor was very pronounced just the way I like it and I particularly love that they shredded the truffle like a garnish on top rather than just one huge chunk of truffle. That way I could get a bite truffle and every single mouthful. And at the end they surprised us with a happy anniversary cake and I have to say that cake was surprisingly good. I really enjoyed it. The views were delightful. We’re able to watch both the show at the super tree gardens at 7:30 and the water show at the mall at 8

The food and drinks should be improved. Ordered 2 cocktails and chicken P, Seabass and carbonara. To be surprised, the taste was all below average like a cheap food. If you look for the nice Italian food, don’t have to come here. Can come here for the drinks and some view. All the dish was not nice and very salty.

Had a dinner here for our wedding anniversary and it was totally awesome. Food was great and the ambience was super. The service was totally 5 star service. We had different waitresses serving us but they all know what our orders without even checking it on the system first. And lastly we got a surprise to celebrate our anniversary. And don’t forget the view from 57th floor! All superb

Amazing experience as always. Went with a couple of friends and we spent the entire afternoon dining to amazing Italian fare and the best service by attentive staff. Everything we ordered was divine. We ordered 1 of the lunch set that came with cauliflower soup and a marinara penne. We also ordered the chicken parmigiano and a truffle fries. How can we miss the 20 layers chocolate cake that was oh so decadent that even 3 person couldn't finish. Definitely worth a visit if you're celebrating a special occasion.

I really enjoy coming up to LAVO just for great desserts. Life is already hard enough and I had a terrible week. I am so lucky LAVO still has space for me and I get to try their late night dessert. I really thank Mine for bringing me to the most gorgeous view I have ever seen to end my night. It is definitely a lovely sweet end to my otherwise awful week and day. The sweet and salty mix with the waffle gives off a warm homely Italian feel. I hope if you have the opportunity you try LAVO for yourself. And the view. Wouldn’t it be nice to enjoy a late night view of Singapore’s business district from high up above in LAVO?

Cosy place, a disappointment that it was drizzling. It would have been nice to be seated outdoor with the beautiful view. Nevertheless, the food is so good! Octopus pizza is delicious, bone marrow with toast is sinful but oh well…diet starts tomorrow! Meat ball is juicy and soft and finally some green - asparagus salad! Sharing portion, great place to dine with family and friends. Friendly service too!

What's not to love about an great Italian restaurant in the 57th floor with a wrap around patio with views of the city skyline and the sea? Food and drinks were delicious and service was nice. There is an indoor dining area and bar, and an outdoor bar with lots of outdoor lounge seating. It is on the end of the boat so it has views in all directions. Note, there is a dress code. For men, no shorts, and no athletic/swim attire or tank tops. Definitely need a reservation...been turned away many times. Would definitely go back.

Food: 3/5 - Okay but don’t expect too much at a place like this. Had much better pasta elsewhere at similar or lower price points. Calamari and octopus were decent, but I’d give the meatball dish a big, big miss. Service: 3/5 - Restaurant seems understaffed and getting their attention can be a big challenge. Location: 5/5 - Great views overlooking downtown Singapore. Overall: 4/5 - Come once just for the views, not the food.

The worst meal we had in Singapore. Service - 0/10. We had the most inattentive server (Raaj); he came to get our food order before asking for our drink order. He brought bread at the end of the meal and never checked on us throughout. Food - 1/10. The complementary bread was very cold and soggy. It felt like it was taken out of a fridge. The pizza was worse than frozen pizza. The pasta was average. Not worth the price. Drinks were decent but overpriced ($20+). Ambiance/vibes: 3/10 only because of the views. Outside seating is lounge style so it’s comfortable for 2 people but if you have more than 2 people they have to sit crouched on uncomfortable backless stools. We were not sat on a table directly by the glass so our view was constantly obstructed by tons of people taking pictures. The music they were playing was explicit hip hop/R&B; Not exactly what you want for a dinner experience. If you want to come here for the view maybe get drinks only. This meal was the epitome of the meme: that feeling when you spend money on food and it’s nasty 😭 .

Came here for lunch and the food was disappointing. None of what we ordered was good - the meatball, scallop pasta and 20 layers cake. BUT the view and ambience was really good. I would come again perhaps for drinks to chill to the skyline especially if you sit outdoors.

The service at Lavo was great, and really, the place is so impressive and worth a visit for the amazing 360 views of the city. The prices are reasonable considering the beauty of the venue. Some portions like pizza are for sharing so it's good value. We had a pizza and it was nice and tasty! Plus they gave us some complimentary focaccia and olives. Staff were very friendly, it felt unpretentious and welcoming! Would definitely recommend. Book in advance as it's really busy and much easier to access with a booking.

It's previous sky57 which we have been several years ago but the dishes are even better and yummier, we all love the seafood platter and 1kg steak to share, the size is just good to share with 4 or 5 if ordered these 2 dishes, easy and comfy The staff here are all very friendly, responsive and helpful, while we finished the starters, they helped clean and set the table very quickly for main course to come. Came and checked with us frequently whether we need anything else. Awesome. The view is stunning, good spot to enjoy the sunset.

Overall very good service by our waiter. We really got the pasta as we asked for. Great. Our table wasn't ready as it just started raining and everyone needed to be moved inside. View inside not really great but of course outside. Wine was quite pricey and not really good. But if you want to be once up.. best option!

Ambience and service are top-notch. Came here for lunch, and we ordered the set meals. They have a two course meal (appetizer and mains) and a three course meal (appetizer, mains, and dessert). The food was just okay, I wasn’t blown away because there's no innovation going on. However, they used fresh ingredients, and it was flavourful. Service was amazing. The staff was attentive, polite, and prompt. They even helped to take our pictures. I'll probably come back but I won't order the set meals again. Maybe their other dishes are better.

Coming from a GenZ, the music was definitely spot on and all of us were having a mini (soft) karaoke session while having our food and drinks. Since my friends and I weren’t able to decide, we called on one of the waiters to give recommendations. Least to say, it didn’t disappoint! We were encouraged to try food as well as drinks out of our comfort zone which we absolutely loved! (night king and dragon spritz) Other than that, the staff did not forget that we were there to celebrate our birthday and gave a complimentary chocolate cake as well! I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!!

A lovely restaurant with quite good cuisine but most all with a premium view. Of course the fancy prices are justified by the super view you have of Singapore bay. The food served was quite good and the staff is very professional. When you get at the top floor the view point is just in front of you whereas the entrance to the restaurant on the right.

One of the best places for a night out in Singapore. Food, drinks and view is amazing. The live jazz quintet on Saturday nights is fabulous! Highly recommended

  • 4/5 Horsey B. 4 years ago on Google
The place is stunning! The drinks were good! A little on the pricier side for cocktails $25+ but I guess you pay for the stunning view of Singapore! The food was great too! The staff is quite attentive and comes to serve straight away! I rocked up without any booking and was still accommodated on a table! The only downside is that during the rainy days they shut the outdoor area where you can sit and view the Singapore skyline.

Really excellent experience. Food was great. Try anything with meatballs since that's the speciality..Also able to wander out onto balcony during breaks in meal to gaze at the amazing Singapore skyline. Drinks list was varied. Kids loved the food. This place was perfect for a family birthday celebration..

I visited Lavo on a Saturday night with my wife for our anniversary. We had an amazing experience, right from the start where we had a drink on the terrace with an amazing view, until the end where dessert arrived with a "Happy Anniversary" message on it. The staff were perfectly attentive and great with dietary requirements (my wife is lactose intolerant). Our order was guided by the waitress, ensuring that we had enough food without over-ordering. With such a fantastic atmosphere, I will be recommending this restaurant for both locals and visitors alike.

Great rooftop view overlooking Marina Bay! Amazing customer service, friendly and thoughtful staff. The quality of the food is OK, nothing special. They have pizza, grilled meat and fish. Limited variety of beer and wine. The price is justified by its location. Overall, we had a good time because the place is TikTokable and Instagramable.

  • 3/5 Stephanie K. 4 years ago on Google
View and ambience was great but service was negligible. Cocktails were supposed to be the focus, however after trying 5 of the selections it was still not worth the price tag and there were much better cocktail bars out there. Drinks were too sweet and alcohol content was weak.

  • 4/5 Insanity B. 4 years ago on Google
Great views over the city and waterfront from the top of tower 1 of the Marina Bay Sands building. Drinks at top end of the Singapore price range, but for such a premium location that is to be expected. Good food, great service, can't really find fault with the destination, other than a rather sterile atmosphere - but you can get past that by coming with a decent group of friends.

EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE. Bad attitude. We booked an outdoor seat more than a week ago. Came in at 5pm they told us the outdoor seats are not available and we said ok we can wait indoor until outdoor seats open and they agreed. Ok we waited until 5:30pm until outdoor opened, but they told us outdoor seats are fully booked???!! And arranged us to an outdoor seat that we must leave at 6:40pm cuz they have reservation next????? It’s unbelievable bad attitude and service, obviously we aren’t so disappointed and don’t recommend everyone to come.

Made a reservation for 3 pax. Came on time. 22.00pm until midnight. Waiter said : only food and juices, no more drinks. We were fine with that. And I removed my mask since we were by the table. The waiter stopped me . :* sir, you can't remove your mask if you dont order a juice first. That's the rule. Thanks guys, you can keep your juice and etc. So we left.

I would say this is the best place for lively banter amongst large groups of friends. Expect award-winning Italian-American dishes that are bursting with flavour like linguini with clam sauce, chicken parmigiana and its signature Lavo one-pound meatball that’s oozing with spices and topped with a sinful mountain of ricotta cheese. Just watch the portion sizes, they are very generous! The prices may be a bit steep, but once you split it among a handful of people, it does average out. For communal dining that’s rich in flavours, and hearty in portions, LAVO will tick all your boxes. Warm-hearted service staffs! Lovely atmosphere with stand-out open terrace where you can take your drink and capture stunning views of Singapore.

The best birthday treat for me! Right from the ambience, to the food, and the exceptionally excellent service provided by Mr Viji. He made us feel like we were VIPs. :) Would highly recommend the New York Strip, tender and juicy and simply grilled to perfection! We also had the pasta, pizza and the jumbo prawn cocktail. The staff surprised me with a birthday cake at the end of our meal. Appreciated! Really the best birthday I ever had! You can also enjoy the view of Marina Bay outside at the garden. Simply breathtaking.

Sunday Funday Champagne Buffet Brunch. Brunch with a rooftop view from the Marina Bay Sands. Variety is just about all right with the usual suspect of oysters, boston maine lobster, snow crab, an egg station, carving station, foie gras station and many more. Better than the one I had at Fullerton if you ask me.

Was there for the LAVO Party Brunch, that takes place quite regularly; celebrated St Patty's Day. It started out feeling like quite a mess, and I must say though, not knowing what to expect, it was quite an intimidating start. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed myself the entire afternoon after with my partner. It's a fixed price for free flow of alcohol and food. You get the best of what you'd otherwise order on a normal day, plus a crazy fun time! It feels like a day club, where good music is coming from the deejay, with good Italian food on buffet stands, open bars all around you, and performers dressed up dancing and entertaining the entire crowd. The crowd generally is also very well dressed, and it's a little skewed towards an expat mix and influencers. I wouldn't recommend coming alone, as everyone tends to be in groups; unless you're here just for good music, food, and drinks! The seafood corner runs out really fast but it's my favourite corner, especially the oysters and Alaskan crab. I must commend the open bars though, that they're not one bit stingy, nor slow with their service. There's sufficient bar top counters for the crowd size, enough bartenders around, and very proactive too! My champagne glass was never empty the few hours I was there (and I drink quite fast in general). Overall great setup, great party vibes, and a well enjoyed afternoon!

The restaurant itself was indoor, only the rooftop bar and some casual outdoor seating area for food offer the incredible views you clearly pay for. The food was pretty basic too, especially for the price, so I'd recommend to come here just for drinks. (Best time is around sunset)

360 degrees is what means that place!!! You can see the all Marina Bay, but also behind!!! I mean is the only place in Singapore where you can see also Batam, Sentosa, East Coast at the same place!! The ambiance is really nice as well, I really enjoy the Instagram screen where you can take a beautiful picture with your friends!! No pictures, discover yourself, otherwise no surprise!!! ?

Gorgeous view over the city from the "back of the ship". The best view is actually outside. They don't serve outside for brunch / lunch, but you can take a drink outside and indulge in the view. Service was very cheerful and attentive. The beetroot / goat cheese salad was fresh and delicious, and beautifully arranged. It also wasn't an issue to adjust a cheese+coldcut platter to be fully vegetarian (no coldcut, just cheese)

Went to Lavo over lunch. The lunch set was a steal! Food looks pretty and tasted good. We ordered truffle fries for sharing. One of the best truffle fries I had. Both set lunch and truffle fries portion were good for the price. The view is amazing and staff were attentive and friendly. Next time, I’ll be back for dinner to experience a different view at night.

We have been back for a few times now, very impressed with their level of service. On top of the gorgeous view, and quite a spread of western italian fusion menu. Though they have revamped their happy hour, no more 1for1 cocktail, only 3 selected cocktail at $18 each (vs normal $25). Must try dishes would be the 1lb wagyu meatball w ricotta, truffle fries and calamari ! Prices are on the higher side, but at least their portions came generous.

Great food, amazing service! Special mention to our waiter, Shiva, who not only gave us a great recommendation for our main (the seafood penne!) but was also attentive & prompt throughout our entire dinner. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner such an enjoyable one especially with the surprise dessert when we asked for the bill. We’ll be back for more!

Overall experience was good. Food was good and price are reasonable. Mostly pick this restaurant was for the view that look across the CBD area. Was not able to seat outside due to the rain. It was nice of them to give an complimentary birthday cake for the birthday boy. But I have to ask for it even I have state on my reservation.

Splendid food with extraordinary beautiful view . To top it off fantastic service by Vic and Lalo who care to remember their regular customers with their attentive and responsive service. One has to agree that it has to do with the management's training and culture. Seeing their smiles and happiness at work makes you feel at home . Their senior manager Mr Sanjay added spice to the experience with his cordial and friendly attention and service too. Well done Lavo. 5 star dining experience here at LAVO! The view is absolutely fantastic. You can expect to pay premium pricing here for food and drinks. But the view and ambiance makes the price worth every dollar. Truffle fries were delicious. Meatball pizza was good with crispy crusts. The pork chop with pistachio was good too. The fried oreos dessert is a must try! Service is great and very attentive. 5/5 recommended! Do remember to reserve in advance.

Accessible from MBS hotel tower 1, lvl 57. We came for early dinner on a rainy Christmas Day . Service was great and food was tasty Since it was Christmas they gave everyone chocolates and a ginger bread man (a masked ginger bread man!) quite an interesting and funny touch. After a while the weather cleared up and we were able to go outdoors to take nice pics of the great views of marina bay. Must try: the 20 layer choco cake dessert!!

Advance booking is required if you wish to dine on weekend night. And even so I managed to only get 9pm slot when I book in end Nov. Ordered the smaller seafood platter to share and was not told when ordering the oysters at out of stock. And only when arrived found that the oysters are missing and another waiter confirmed that oysters had been oos for a few days and he was surprised that the one who took the order did not Inform us earlier but he mentionee additional pcs of prawns etc are given instead. Ordered wagyu meatball spag and a tiramisu to share as well. As I mentioned in my reservation that is for my anniversary they remember to scribble something on the dessert plate.

Really fun brunch. Spectacular views. My in laws took the tab, I can only imagine the cost was exorbitant. I think the brunch is probably a more fun way to experience this restaurant. I’ve seen some not very satisfied reviews around dinner, and I imagine if you ordered the wrong thing it could be disappointing. We loved the buffet selection. We loved the seafood bar and the desert variety was so fun. Bottomless champagne and they mean that, we constantly got topped up throughout our time there. The food was all good, but honestly nothing that blew my mind. Your money is going towards the experience and the view for sure.

Service was great - we stayed till late and the staff was very accommodating. Calamari wasn’t fantastic. The other food items were good. The famous layered cake tasted like peanut butter - we were so disappointed! It looked more like a chocolate cake. Tiramisu cake was popular with my friends, the fried Oreo balls not so much. Also took some pictures at the outdoor rooftop, ambiance was 10/10. Would be back again!

Great Restaurant. Had dinner birthday celebration as a family. Staff : Professional, friendly, good services Service : Extraordinary services, we had starter, main course, and dessert as sharing portion. At the end of each courses, they change our plate for the upcoming course. Food : Fantastic, we noted that there's a diabetes and apparent he took his glucose measurement the next morning, the results are very acceptable. The food was delicious, I believe not many restaurant can compare their food with Lavo. Environment : Beautiful, but can be a little noisy during dinner time.

We tried this restaurant together with some foreign guests who we are touring around. Customer service was proactive in checking for our attendance ( we were slightly late). The view is fantastic, and while the lunch ambience is noisy, it is comparable to most other restaurants. Food is excellently prepared and the staff is proactive in their service. I had a Sea Bass specialty and a Sherbert. (Strawberry) We didn't take any alcohol, but their alcohol menu is extensive. Highly recommend if you have a VIP you need entertained and budget is not an issue.

Celebrated birthday dinner here the view was spectacular! Music was upbeat, really set the moods in well. Food was great overall — tho the popular Pistachio iberico pork was a miss for us but the pizza (Carne) came with generous fillings and the pasta (Rigatoni) hits really well we love it the most! Complimentary birthday cake was served too!

First time being there. I expected this is exclusive restaurant with cosy environment but it turned out to be very crowded like food court on the roof. View may be considered as a premium for those visitors who has never been since it is on top of MBS. Food quality is acceptable in comparison with the high price being paid for. Staffs are very nice and attentive.

  • 5/5 Gaius L. 9 months ago on Google
One of the best champagne brunches in Singapore. Great spread of meats (lamb, beef medallions), fish (salmon was awesome), seafood on ice (lobster, scallops and sashimi) and desserts. Service was perfect at the beginning, with our glasses filled constantly and even cocktail orders kept running. Shame though that our waiter at one point grew disinterested at serving our table of 4, when we sort of refused to drink up our glasses of alcohol. After which he did not come to wait us any longer. This though did not mar our enjoyment, we still thoroughly enjoyed the whole lunchtime.

I was pretty excited to come here and see what the hype was for Lavo. They have pretty amazing views as it’s situated on the highest level of MBS. However, the place was so warm and stuffy the doors to the outdoors were wide open and the aircon don’t seem to be working well. Even the waitstaffs there told us that it’s too stuffy for them too. It’s uncomfortable for the guest to enjoy their time there. Food wise, really not much to shout about. Fries came in a big portion. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana, sautéed spinach and the ribeye steak. Spinach was really bland, anyone could whip out that simple dish in seconds. The eggplant parmigiana was not too my liking. The ribeye steak was cooked to the way I like it but that particular texture and the taste that day was not up to standard. It was a busy weekend and service was pretty slow so waitstaff weren’t too attentive. Overall, pretty disappointing first time there. Don’t think I’ll return to dine in again.

If you’re looking to have a meal with a view from the iconic Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, LAVO is definitely a great place to visit. But before you do, here are some things to know: 1) It’s overpriced. You’re paying for the views. 2) The cocktails and appetizers are better than the entrées. 3) Make a reservation. It’s the only way to guarantee your spot. If all of that sounds good, you’ll be set.

Good food and ambience. Ordered a whole lot and headed home with the fullest stomach. We started off with focaccia bread with marinara dip. Bread is soft, marinara has good flavour, would've been nicer if it was served hot. The scallops had a good sear and texture. The bowl of fries is actually so huge, so just be ready for that. For our mains, we had the carbonara which is the creamy kind, it's not bad. The iberico pork is very soft, and has some nice fatty linings, my favourite from this set. The tomahawk steak is ok, had better ones. The margherita pizza is a classic one, good accompaniment for the rest of the meal. The seats (we were seated outside for the supposed view) are not that comfortable. We had a reservation but they only fixed the seating when we were already there. Nothing much on the view part as well because of the thick opaque plastic wall. Overall, it was a good meal, just not too sure about the value for money.

Service is great. We loved the rack of lamb, tender af. Fries and pizza not bad too. Didn’t quite like the meatball, would skip that. 20 layer cake is huge. Total $250 for 4 pax, super full and had to take away. All staffs are friendly, full on Sunday night but a lot of staffs too 🫡

Food was hit or miss. Tried the meatball - sauce was good, would recommend this, portion is very big though; 4 of us didn’t finish this Tuna Tartare - average, tuna is fresh but taste is bland, crackers are so-so The most disappointing was my linguine white clams. It was too much oil, I ate 1/4 of the plate. The linguine was also not linguine, it was over cooked as well, mushy texture. Second disappointment was rigatoni melanzana - tasted artificially sweet. Tiramisu was the highlight it was good. Might be sweet after a few mouthfuls. 4 of us totalled up to $340+, I would say the food was rather disappointing for the price we paid. Could’ve gotten better food else where. The view was nice but we could’ve gotten the same view from Spago. Would not come back again.

They have the best views amongst most restaurants that serve champagne brunches in Singapore. The drinks just won’t stop! The food is great with a huge fare of Italian cuisine. With plenty of choices. I just wished they had oysters and a better antipasti spread. There was a DJ that sets the mood. You can drink, eat and enjoy the wonderful views Lavo has to offer.

Food is very mediocre but the service and atmosphere is really great for a date night. We had our mains indoors and then migrated to the outdoors for drinks. The scenery is beautiful. If we were to come here again we would just eat outdoors as it is windy outside and much cooler temperature as compared to the inside. Thank you to staff Jane for catering to our request of sitting outside for drinks!

The staff were wonderful, and took great care of us. We had Mina as our waitress: she was attentive, funny and kind. For anyone concerned, Lavo is vegetarian, allergy and disability friendly. The 20-layer cake is not for the faint-hearted, though!

Rooftop bar and restaurant at the 57 floor of Marina Bay Sands. The hospitality is superb from the point you reach their desk on ground floor. The staff is very friendly. Being vegetarians we ordered truffle fries and margarita pizza with peroni beer. You can go out to enjoy the view even if your seats are indoor. We sat indoors and went out to enjoy the views.

Located at level 57 of MBS skypark, we were treated to a lovely sunset view before dinner at Lavo. The resturant was pretty packed on a Monday evening. For two pax, we had the fried calamari, mafaldine seafood alfredo, black truffle pizza, grilled asparagus and tiramisu. We heard good things about the food and thankfully, the food did not disappoint. Love the alfredo and personally prefer it over the pizza. Can I just say how much I love the tiramisu? Not kidding but might have been one of the best that I’ve tried thus far. Shoutout to Cecilia for the great service throughout our dinner too. Total bill came up to $200ish for two pax which is kinda expected with alcohol. Overall, a great dinner and evening at Lavo.

Came here for birthday celebration, and overall had a great experience! The staff and service were all great, and we got a small cake with a birthday message on it. For food, we had the burrata, truffle fries, ravioli, big meatball, and eggplant parm. I thought the big meatball was quite yummy, but the truffle fries did not have a strong enough truffle aroma. The food we ordered was quite heavy, something to keep in mind while ordering! The 20 layer chocolate cake was enormous and can easily be shared by a few people or more. We also had some cocktails that were nice as well. I found the food quite tasty but this is a place you come to mainly for the views and atmosphere, especially if you are seated outdoors.

Surprisingly a very good lunch! Didn’t have expectations and was pleasantly surprised. We had booked a table outside but the Singapore heat was too much to handle and decided to sit inside, which the staff were very kind in accommodating. Salmon was good and cooked well. The penne vodka sauce pasta was tasty and the caesar salad good as well. Having lunch here is a great way to get views from the top of Marina Bay Sands without paying the admission fee for the deck.

Placed a booking with Lavo for my wife birthday, my wife loved it. The view was astonishing. The food was fabulous, and the attendance service from the lady server was attentive. The only downside was from the reception at level 1 and the front door at level 57. Chatting away and ignoring the customer. Even when I said hello to 3 of them. That makes us feel unwelcome. The front desk is the image of the restaurant/company. If the service is not up to standard upfront, the image will be tunish. It will not leave any good impression to the customer. Hope Lavo can improve their services standard.
