Good halal restaurant with high standard food, refreshing drinks, friendly crews, very enjoyable experience overall. The mushroom soup is aroma, both desserts are nice, too full to finish all. Had company dinner there, everyone gives a thumb up 👍🏻, highly recommended for company dinner especially with halal oversea guests.

Surprisingly good both service and food. Love the pizza chicken which comes in three level of spiciness. The risotto was a pleasantly good. Caesar salad was a little too citrus and lack the creaminess the squid ink spaghetti was normal lacks the authenticity taste. Overall I will still recommend this place for causal dining

Definitely one of my favourite halal Italian restaurants. The Classic Lobster Bisque was amazing!!! I enjoyed the 8-Pocket Rocket Calzone which was pretty unique. The Ricotta & Spinach Ravioli was disappointing though. Good service.

Went there for a gathering and the acoustics was not made for large gatherings. I do like the salad though the waiter did not ask if I wanted olives in my salad. Service was prompt for a bustling place. The ambience around the restaurant is nice as kg glam has a nice vibe. Nice area to walk around after the meal.

Great place to eat at with friends as it is both halal and vegetarian friendly. Truffle fries was decent but nothing spectacular. I personally enjoyed my mushroom risotto which was cooked al-dente. Friend enjoyed her mushroom linguine as well. Dessert was pretty big with a lava cake topped on an ice cream sandwich. Service and ambience was great as well. Do remember to reserve as they can be fully booked especially on weekends.

Saw the restaurant had good reviews so i was really hopeful for good Italian food coming this restaurant. Ordered the risotto and ravioli along with calamari bites. The calamari bites were decent, risotto was undercooked and served with oily fried enoki and the ravioli was blend served with heaps of tomato sauce not forgetting garnished with lettuce. Service wise feels like McDonald's serve better service. Price wise not worth it at all. I don't understand how others manage to have a better experience than what i had for lunch today :(

Good food at reasonable cost. I really enjoyed the aglio olio which was perfectly al dente and very delicious (despite an empty mussel haha). Spice level can be adjusted as well. Chicken was tender and quite decent as a basic main. Keen to try the fish and chips or steak next time. Truffle fries and bruschetta were okay. Desserts were wonderful, lava cake was worth it. Staff were very responsive and friendly, and attended to all our sauce needs. Will recommend.

Hands down the best risotto and I absolutely loved the mushroom bruschetta. The mango shake was also very refreshing. AND the place is halal.

Great place for western halal food. We got a few dishes for sharing as we were spoilt for choice. Service was personable and staff was upfront that they had sold out of some items, that we should order dessert in advance and that we would have to wait, which I appreciated. They were also very attentive but also let us sit and not chase us away when we finished our meal. Food was delicious and I’ll be back to try more dishes for sure.

Patronised the place on a Friday evening with a big group. During ordering, staff was very enthusiastic about recommending us their food and went ahead to order for us. However, the food took more than 1 hr to serve, and they over ordered the food for us. By the time the mains arrived, it was 9.40pm. The food was awful and bland, not authentic Italian food. Can't believe waited for so long and was served with food worse than hawker centre. Feel embarrassed for them that they still can proudly say all their food were sold out.

For the longest time, I don't know why have I not gone here for the No. 1 Halal Italian dishes they have on the menu. Simple & always delicious, what stand out most is their service! Every staff there are always prompting if our requests have been met. They allowed us to switch tables if needed. They offered their recommended dishes as well as creating conversations with other customers including my partner & me! We ordered 2 appetisers & 1 mains but I can safely say that the servings was adequate. Wish we had more room for desserts 🤣 Presentation was 8/10 but what's more important is the taste. For its Fettucine Carbonara, its not too creamy so you choose not to have it tasted in that way. Location was convenient & close to what Haji Lane & Arab St has to offer on a Friday evening. As a legit Italian joint, this place falls way short. Steep prices considering the quality of food on offer. Ravioli was undercooked and served with lettuce for some reason. Strange. The tomato-based sauce was as generic as they come. Not sure why the need to add cherry tomatoes into the mix as well. LINO has a similar dish that’s done a lot simpler & better. The Mac n Cheese (is this even Italian?) was similar to the pre-prepared boxed kind you’d get from the supermart. The addition of crabmeat didn’t really do much for the dish. Go to Bar Cicheti or Pasta Bar if you’re looking for a proper Italian experience. Come here for the off-brand version at premium prices.

Walk-In lunch for 2 at around 1pm. The place is quite packed but we manage to get a spot. Ordered the starter Truffle fries & Mozzarella Balls, both were delicious & quite filling. The main dish arrive shortly, black squid ink & mushroom linguini which was well prepared. Do take note the black squid ink dish is very spicy. Ordered the caramel cheesecake which was so lovely. The place has a very good ambient since we got seated on the 2nd floor. Best to make reservation for big groups as seats are limited.

A very pretty and comfortable place with amazing staff and food! I love all of their dishes, especially the truffle risotto because it simply warms my heart. Everything was shared within 3 pax and we left being full! The dessert is a MUST TRY. I Love it so much and the chocolate is just so amazing and warm. Really an enjoyable place!

It’s our first time here, even though they opened for few years rest assured it won’t be our last time. We were approached by Mr Faisal whom assisted us from the moment he saw us reading the menu, with a very warm and welcoming service. We asked for recommendations and he explain to us from starter to dessert. We ordered what was recommended by him (spicy chicken pizza, sirloin steak with bone marrow sauce and 4 cheese Gnocchi with no regrets the food was extremely good. An unexpected surprised from him a complimentary dessert which I forgotten to ask what was the name of it, again it’s was so good as well. Overall experience was superb from food and services!! Shout out to him and the team.

Lasagne ($19.95++) is an absolute must try. Well baked and appropriately cheesy with a generous amount of beef. My friends tried the following, and were very impressed with the portion of the beef burger ($16.90++). The fettucine carbonara ($18.95++) and chicken Alfredo linguine ($22.95++) were decent too. We were seated at the second floor which offered a nice respite from the heat. Servers were attentive and efficient.

The staff, including Rado, Hisham, Amirul, and Putri, were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making our visit truly enjoyable. Despite not having a reservation, we were graciously provided with a comfortable seating area when we visited on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023, with my girlfriends and their daughter. The food at Positano was not just nice; it was very, very nice! Each dish was a delightful blend of flavors and quality ingredients. Moreover, the dessert was nothing short of deliziosa. The culinary experience was memorable, and the service from the staff further enhanced our overall satisfaction. I'm already looking forward to returning to Positano, and this time, I plan to bring my cousins and sisters along. A big thank you to the entire team for the awesome service. Highly recommended!

If I could give a 6 star for service, I would say the tall guy outside who greeted us was marvelous. He is the epitome of service . I bet he worked in a Michelin restaurant before. He checked on us, top up our water, and even brought extra napkins for my daughter cause he knew that carbonara could be messy. So yes. 6 🌟 star for his service. Carbonara was creamy, and the Squid ink pasta was spicy nice. Would try their other dishes next time.

Been here a couple times before in the past and the food and service never fail to amaze me each time:) Special shout-out and thanks to our waiter Sasi who provided excellent service to us with his warmth, humour and friendliness. He went the extra mile and took initiative to even separate the soup and plate it nicely into 2 separate bowl when I told him I wanted to order 1 soup but to share it which I found really nice. He was very helpful and checked on us regularly to ensure our satisfaction and comfort. I love the calzone, squid ink pasta, truffle mushroom soup and brushetta just to name a few :) Highly recommended to visit this Italian gem :)

I was here for my company dinner. Each person average order around 50 dollars plus worth, can barely get you a main, drink and a dessert. The food here is not worth the money. I ordered a truffle mushroom pizza, cafe latte and tiramisu. I wasn't expecting much from the tiramisu so it was just a comforting end to my meal, which is just sweet. The pizza was big in portion, but thin in crust. So the expectation was for the crust to be crispy and it was crispier that Papadam. The flour was not fragrant and it was a bit charred and dry. The truffle oil was a bit too much of a drizzle so it was overpowering at the start. The coffee was over-extracted so it's a pity because I believe the coffee was of decent grade. A side note for another dish, which is the ravioli. The ravioli was stated to be hand made. But the more I look, the more it looks like dumpling skin with spinach and cottage cheese. And evidently the cheese to spinach ratio is not balance. Food aside, the service level was unexpectedly terrible. We waited for more than one hour for the mains to be served. Appetisers were served swiftly upon being seated. But the long wait starts after that. My group of people is 16 big and we were told to pre-order before coming because of the possible long wait time. But still to no avail. Couldn't imagine what it would be like if we didn't pre-order. I just pity the staff who have to constantly address our queries. Overall, if you have a very sweet tooth and you want to try some dessert, can consider coming here. But the mains and drinks are not worth a try in my honest opinion. PS: if you see a poster about Murphy's law in the restaurant, it's a red flag. Avoid as much as possible.

Food standards and tastes have dropped tremendously. The seafood was from frozen sources and not fresh. No more complimentary ice or warm water. Am very disappointed by the whole dining experience as it was not the same as before. May be the last visit here, although it was my top choice previously.

Delicious pasta and good service! The manager was helpful and offered us suggestions on what to order. The mac and cheese was super good and I have gone back to eat it again with my friends. I had informed them that it was a hens night for a friend and they had provided the bride with a dessert. Nice touch to end the night on a good note!

Very good halal Italian restaurant. Do make your reservations to ensure availability as it is quite popular. Menu is quite extensive and full of things we had never tried before. We came as a group of friends and because we would like to share our food we ordered them and asked for plates which they happily obliged. Would have loved to have some bread for dipping so that we can slip up the left over sauces and dip in their olive oils which they served to is once we sat down.

Came here for dinner, the service was good and staff worked quickly. I ordered the beef ragu fettucine – beef was super tender and ragu sauce was well made, loved everything about it. The portion's just nice, kept me full for the rest of the day. The meatballs in their spaghetti were also cheese-filled, it was a pleasant surprise. Place is generally nice and cozy, food is great and reasonably priced as well. I'd come back again :)

Hahahahaha** My girls and I had the pleasure to be served by Chris as he was very professional and he ensures that the food and the ambience is really really good. It was our first time attending to the restaurant and it kind of blew our mind. We ordered the party meal for 5 as it gives us the chance to try something that is out of the norm, especially with the fact that we wanted to have our night more colorful,with the help of the mocktail choices that we wanted to try. So far the one I chose (Sky Walker) was alright, but Dana colada really blew me away. The fact that there's a dragon fruit in the mocktail was surprisingly refreshing and it was really really good. Its not too sweet compared to Lychee, where it was pretty thick and I wouldn't mind coming back again just to order the Dana Colada. One of the appetizers that we ordered has become my favourite too and that would be the bruschetta. I love how the mushrooms were to well sauteed and placed over the baguette. It was perfect. Not too oily and the baguette is not too hard either. It was just nice and the taste still lingers till this day. It was really good. The pastas on the other hand was alright, I actually thought the item that was placed in the middle of the carbonara is a mashpotato but it's actually a poached egg. Which is really surprising. The squid ink is a little bit salty for me, maybe it's because it's suppose to be the super spicy but instead we ordered mild as one of our girls couldn't handle spicy food. Maybe we can try the super spicy version during the next round when we come. The classics that we chose was really lucky. Actually we wanted to have ravioli, however it was sold out. So we decided to try Granny Smith scallop risotto and the taste was way beyond our expectations. It was awesome. Really great. The desserts were alright especially with the sudden birthday celebration which left my group speechless, because it was unplanned but we're happy that the birthday girl was really thankful for it. Came into this restaurant for the first time after hearing so many good reviews, so I thought I would give it a go too. No doubt that the service was spot on from the start till the finish. I told them specifically what I requested before booking a reservation and they indeed didn't let me down. Great Restaurant Lovely Food

I was sceptical about this place at first. However I decided to just try since there were so many good reviews, and it did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was good as well but it’s not the greatest. Prices were affordable for the type of food. They even surprised us with a cake to celebrate our anniversary.

They were open during the Lunar holidays and very busy. But as a lone diner, I was quickly shown to a table by an attentive waiter. Service was pleasant and within expectations but that is not to be said of my main order - the grilled salmon. I left about a quarter of it on the plate as half of the salmon was overcooked. Flavour was forgettable. I also had the tiramisu which was good but not the best I have tried. On paying the bill, I mentioned the unfinished salmon and was told off that only a small portion of it was overdone. The cashier reluctantly billed me for only the grilled salmon; the tiramisu was complimentary. I accepted this as fair considering I did not enjoy most of my dinner but will not return as I was made to feel like a nuisance for pointing out the less than perfect salmon.

So to begin with ambience, it’s great location has open entertainment (single piece singer) so within this area you can hear him singing/performing. The location is pretty much one of the most known tourist spots in Singapore - within Arab street. Menu - great selection of pasta, pizza, sides, and drinks. They also have great promotion ongoing to get 10% off when you select set menu. Service and Waiting Time - I came here first and was attended quickly by one of their staff. I would say waiters, pretty attentive- when we raised our hands for attention. Quickly someone attended to us and took our orders. The food came one by one, not serve everything at the same time. Started first with Pizza, calamari, fries, Pasta, and last one Lava stack. I think overall we waited 20-25 minutes. Which quite decent and all food came hot which is excellent ? Quality and Portion of Food Margherita Pizza - generous portion, good for 3. Good flavour as well and thin crust just nicely crunchy yet a bit soft in the middle. Truffle Fries - not as savoury as others and again, generous portion Calamari - generous portion, the flavour is there but I found it a bit oily Pasta - loved it! Not only good portion, you can definitely see some seafood in there, again generous. And squid ink very tasty, just like fireworks in your mouth with plenty of great flavours 2 mojito mocktails - great tasty of mint and very refreshing And last served - Lava Stack, worth to try and drooling for. I mean, it’s good flavour and the Oreo ice cream just great combo with the lava cake. Price - we paid 100.25 after 10% discount for 3, which I think not bad. Definitely above hawker price but with the service, quality and portion of food, ambience. Worth it! Definitely will recommend for you to try and will come back again next time ??

Had the spaghetti & meatballs pasta which was v delicious!! Was a flavour burst from the rich tomato-based mince beef sauce and the cheese-filled handmade meat balls. Highly recommended for those who favour strong flavours! Service was also very good. Staff was attentive and thoughtful in serving us!

Service staff are warm, friendly and polite. One can tell they are smiling behind their masks 😷 We had the bruschetta, Norwegian linguine with cream sauce and fried salmon pieces, and soft-shelled crab linguine. The cream sauce felt too rich after awhile, but good for those who enjoy a rich cream sauce base. Do order a side of bread to lap up the remaining bits of sauce 😋 The soft-shell crab linguine was seasoned well and the sauce was rich with a seafoodiness taste to it. There were slices of garlic in the sauce too, and I love garlic. Yum! The dessert was spot on - sticky date pudding which was warm that complemented the cold vanilla icecream so well. I liked how the caramel sauce was separated from the presentation so we can control the amount of sweetness that goes into the dessert. A perfect ending to our dinner!

Booked a reservation for a Birthday Surprise. Heard and read many good things about this place hence we decided to go forth with this place. We had a few dishes nothing particularly stood out except one dish- GRILLED STRIPLOIN STEAK. 🥩Very succulent and mouth watering. 🤤 Service was standard- more to a TOUCH n Go kinda thing, but as expected. As we went during the month of Ramadan, it was busy and we weren’t the only guest. Also try out their 🍓 Strawberry Milkshake, it was delightful balanced, not overly sweet and artificial. Highly Recommended if its still on the menu! ✨

The food is very delicious and recommended for people who is into Italian food! Do note that it is recommended to book on their website as the place is fully filled with people.

Food's a wee bit pricey. Service is excellent. Efficient and attentive without being intrusive. Love the posters around the place. Adds to the ambience and dining experience.

Went there on a rainy Sunday with friends. Placed order for four people. Asked order taker to repeat the order and it was fine until then. Drinks were served first followed by some food items. One order didn't arrive when everything was served and we waited another 5-7 mins. Upon inquiring with the waiter he said he will check on it. Came back saying they are making fresh so will take some time. Few mins later when asked again he said if it doesn't come in 2-3 mins he will pay for food. Within 2 mins he came back and said your whole order has been served and no pending item from the order. We all were shocked given how can it be as one order never came. So when asked further he said you never placed salmon fish order which was another shocker as it was given clearly and he said salmon on repeating the order as well. One person can do the mistake but all 4 people can mistake how? everybody had already finished the food and one person was sitting idle looking at others faces. Server said he will get it quickly and we agreed to it. Food was okay. Quantity was fine. Overall experience terrible due to which probably won't be going any time soon. I understand waiters are human and can make the mistake but if they in doubt then they should double check. If 4 people ordering 4 drinks and 4 items or supposedly 3 items then you should confirm with them to make sure you are not missing anything. Afterall it wasn't a family deal or something where they can share. How can it be avoided. By giving a temporary food bill showing the customer order so that mistake can be rectified if any. Customers also need to double check their order and make sure no mistake due to miscommunication.

SO GOOD. Tried the Boston lobster pasta for 2 and it was really so flavourful, you could even taste the lobster in the sauce. They gave a whole Boston lobster as well as a generous serving of pasta (fed 2 pretty large eaters sufficiently) so very value-for-money at $69.95 too. Service was impeccable as well, will definitely be back to try more things on their pretty extensive menu!

Lovely food as usual. We were lucky to get seats with walk-in on a Saturday! The 8-pocket calzone was a lovely delight with yummy burrata n crust filled with surprises(mushroom & beef pastrami). Crayfish pasta came with an option with different spiciness level which was good. Lovely ambience.

I had a good experience, of cuz we reserved a seat before going. Fell in love with the mac&cheese 🥰 and squid ink seafood spaghetti was yummy too! The mocktail was one of a kind. Seems like a lot of people ordered the same too! The service was fast and the quantity of the food was just nice too! Perhaps I should swing by again soon!

i don't know why this place has such bad reviews, did i go at the right time, right day? i went to the restaurant yesterday, at around 3pm. the food was really good and portions were decent. the moment they were served i told myself, i will come back here again. my experience there was also very pleasant as staff were really friendly and the food was served fast.

The Chicken pesto pasta is really good. Good portion and they're very generous with the amount of chicken in the pasta. Tried Lychee di Menta and it tasted so refreshing! A great drink for a hot day. The staff were pleasant and nice.

Their Norwegian Salmon 🍝 was excellent. Came as advertised. Certainly lives up to its brand image as Singapore’s best halal Italian restaurant. The classic lobster bisque and shrimp poppers were great complimentary dishes and you can’t go wrong with root 🍺 float. Would def dine there again and next time, I’ma try the 🍕. Positano Risto !!! 👏

This Italian restaurant is located in Bussorah St, commonly known as the area of Arab St. It has 2 levels to it and its quite spacious, definitely big enough for a couple of 10 pax families to be sitted side by side. The atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty normal and nothing much to say but it's simple and clean, pretty much what you would expect from a restaurant. The waiters are very customer friendly and are always checking on the tables to see whether everything is going well and asking the customers about their meals. The kitchen is pretty fast in my experience, doesn't take more than 30 minutes for the mains to be served to the table. Now talking about the dishes and menu. It's a standard Italian menu with pasta, pizza, ravioli etc. The pizza is by far one of the best pizzas I've tasted in Singapore. I'm not a pizza lover but to make me want to eat the pizza again here says a lot about the taste and quality. Obviously the main stars of the menu are the pasta, they have about 10 different pasta dishes listed and from sampling the pasta that my group ordered, most of them are really worth the price and they are also really satisfying and filling. Would definitely come here often if I want to get my Italian fix and would recommend it to friends. Its very nice atmosphere for those who are looking to laugh and chat and overall friendly place too.

Came here quite a few times (and it’s all during lunch and more amazingly always for a farewell get-together meal). The food is good. In this visit, I get to savour the dishes shown and they are great - 8-Pocket Rocket Calzone, Lamb Shank, and Beef Ragu Fettuccine. The place is packed during lunch, it was so before Covid and now, a reflection of the popularity of this place. The owners are very friendly who kept apologising for being short-handed, though we did not really have to wait that long for the food to be served.

Food quality was high - flavoursome and delicious and very Italian authentic yet served halal. Service staff has been helpful but too busy so ice water came a bit late. Otherwise great ambience and great food - has returned twice!

Went as a party of 6. We didn't get to try the signature items as it was during the Ramadan period but most of the food ordered were not too bad. Truffle fries and the steak burger were a tad salty for me but flavour wise was still acceptable. Reservations is recommended.

Food was delicious! Staff were friendly and accommodating to us as well. A little pricey but worth it 😋 Would definitely come here again!

Finally managed to dine here, and food was great! Not overly expensive too. Service was just perfect, and best service I’ve had in awhile. 1) Mozzarella cheese stick was done well, and sauce (blend of tomato and chilli?) was super yummy. 2) Mushroom reduction sauce was also really yummy, and if the asparagus were not fibrous, and the brown sticks remained crispy, I think that’d have been perfect. 3) The sticky pudding was the best way to complete the meal (we’ve had the Scottish sticky pudding in a small town in Scotland before, and it almost taste the same except they flood it with more sauce in Scotland haha).

We had a pleasant experience at Positano. While we were unable to reserve online for our large party of 7 fairly last minute, Yazid the restaurant manager managed to accommodate us. Food was great, I especially liked the salmon pasta and pizza 👍🏻

Food taste great but is on the salty side. Service is good and prompt. The restaurant atmosphere can be better. Overall, it is a good place for group dinner.

Really love the vibe at Positano Risto whereby the restaurant given positive vibe by the surrounding quotes and staff is friendly. The portion of the food is big, very tasty and staff are welcoming!They ensure the customers enjoyed their meal 👍🏻Highly recommended

Good service and atmosphere. Food quality need to be reviewed by owners for its consistency. Don’t let ignorance of staffs bring down its reputation. Other than that, good range of menu and owners are friendly.

came here expecting good food because of the reviews and sadly left disappointed. food was super average and pretty pricey, but I guess it is OK considering the location. canned drinks were $3.95, and the coke that we received tasted weird and flat. five cheese pizza was meh as there was not much cheesy flavour, though the watery blue cheese sauce was pretty tasty. was recommended the soft shell crab linguine, but all of us agreed it tasted weird (it was really bland), so we got it refired, and it was better but still just alright. tasted like lobster bisque pasta with a very oily soft shell crab. portions are pretty big, our party of 3 were full from a pizza, pasta, truffle fries and a creme brulee. the bill came up to about $100. service is great. :)

The foods and drinks are all delicious. Walkin for 3 pax for dinner on 16/2/24. Service is good. Expensive but worth it. Would come again for special occasion n strongly recommended.♥️♥️♥️
