My friends and I went to Khansama on a Sunday evening. Good that we booked as the place was quite crowded. The food is really food and portions are generous. However, the service could be improved. But definitely recommending it for some great Indian meals with an amazing choice of veg and non-veg dishes!

If you are wanting high quality Indian food, with fantastic flavours, you need to try this restaurant. The tandoori chicken is the best I have tried anywhere and the flavours in the chilli curries are beautifully created. A very impressive food experience.

This is a SCAM!! Do not believe the high ratings, which I find suspicious. Why: - Bryanni: $18.50 worth $6-8. The retired Samy at 108 Ang Mo Kio served far better for 5-6. Chicken was dry. Rice was quite nice but when charge $18.50, it had better be exceptional. This was not close! - naan was chewy and not tasty. - Paneer was bad—salty and small portion. - chicken tandoori also $18.50 was not exceptional either. If priced at $12-15, would be deserving of 4stars. Scam also because they hire SO MANY street touts, which is illegal isn’t it? No wonder the place is empty and need touts. The restaurant has no air conditioning! A simply a scam for the price.

Used to be my go to for Indian food but finds that recent visits are less pleasant. Staff not able to describe properly the dishes seems they can’t speak English well. The food are just ok not fantastic.

Excellent food. Was a regular at their Science Park branch until it closed (sob) so decided to try their Little India branch. Excellent food. Favourite of the dinner, Sev Poori. Starter that explodes with flavour within your mouth! Must try! The butter chicken and palek paneer were also excellent. Fried Cauliflower manchurian style was ordered by mistake but also great. Good that it wasn't too spicy for my 9 year old. The place has only about 10 tables upstairs where there is air con so reservations is encouraged. Friendly and responsive staff. Parking is a headache! Roadside parking is totally dependent on your whether you are in God's favour that day. Since they closed the car park on Race Course road it has been bad every time i was there. Park wherever you can and walk. There's lots of colourful shops all lining the streets anyways so it will be an interesting walk. 🙂

Food was average/unmemorable. Wouldn't go back, but it was a decent meal while I was there. We tried the mutton curry, chicken Tikka masala, veggie kadhai, and aloo Gobi. (Owner responded to my review and suggested that I gave a 3 star review because ordering takeaway from their restaurant is not as good as eating it in person.....although I did dine at the restaurant, have never ordered takeaway from here, and can confirm it is only 3 stars.)

Love the bread basket, butter chicken and palak paneer! The chicken biryani is so so. The place is air conditioned with good hygiene. Quite a lot of tourists in the restaurant.

Butter chicken is good, but the tandoori chicken is okay but proportion is small, overall is pricey, and they have too many take away orders that took very long to serve our food, the outdoor tables are close to street where is not so good when raining

Great food. Friendly staff. Fast service. Careful if you ask for spicy food. I like spicy food but was NOT calibrated to the Indian levels of spice. I dragged my vegetable samosa through the mint sauce and popped it in my mouth. Flavor was amazing. Spice level was NUCLEAR. I was already sweating because of the outdoor only seating in the 100 degree temperature and 100% humidity but after that bite, sweat was pouring down my face. The waiter noticed my profuse sweating condition and with a concerned look on his face asked if I was OK. After a mango lassi and a bottle of cold water I was alright.

I did not expect the food taste to be that great sitting on the road side restaurant. But food quality and take over a few of the drawbacks like food wait time was long , quantity was less and last bit expensive compared to other restaurants nearby . I would say, must try with friends and family.

What a fantastic place for dinner. Lovely outdoor seating with a nice breeze from the fans. The food was outstanding. Plenty of options including meat and vegetarian, and everything was ordered was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive and very patient with our requests for mild food for the kids. Would definitely return here if we find ourselves in Singapore again.

Place is located at a corner, within 10min walk of the Little India mrt. Best Indian food I had in awhile, butter chicken is on point, mutton briyani was fragrant, mutton is fresh and tasty that even my wife who doesnt really eat mutton emjoyed it. Naan was delicious as well, only drawback was the masala tea was a little light, I had thought it would be a little stronger, overall a very good meal with fantastic service as well!

A popular and old brand for North Indian Food in Singapore. We tried the branch at Norris Road, one of its oldest branches. There is open dining space at level 1 and air-conditioned space upstairs. We chose upstairs. First the ambience. Furniture and ambience are old style Indian but a bit jaded. Place is definitely clean and air-conditioning optimal. The food: we ordered chicken tikka masala, Daal makhani and Tandoori roti. Chicken tikka masala was nice, slightly spicy but still tolerable. Daal Makhani had too much cream n butter. Slightly less cream/butter would have rendered excellent Daal Makhni. Still better than many outlets. Tandoori roti was a bit heavy, the one which came later was hot, well done and crispy. I wish the first of rotis was the same. Service: Service was v good and prompt. We could chit chat with the manager too who about their other outlets too. Dinner for two costed 54.28 which is quite attractive for good North Indian food. Overall good experience but I am based because I have patronised their now closed Science Park outlet may times and surely it was a notch above this outlet.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the mutton curry at Khansama Tandoori Restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked and tender, and the curry sauce had just the right balance of spices and flavors. The dish had a deep, rich flavor that was enhanced by the addition of fragrant spices like cumin, coriander, and turmeric. The sauce was thick and creamy, with just the right amount of heat to give it a kick without being overpowering. One of the things I loved most about this mutton curry was the quality of the meat. It was obviously of the highest quality, with a rich, meaty flavor that was enhanced by the spices in the curry sauce. Overall, I highly recommend the mutton curry at this restaurant. It's a must-try for anyone who loves Indian food, and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Good food, good drink, good seatings. Great Indian food. Could just be I was with great friends but everything feels excellent. They have indoor seatings with aircon. I would love a traditional menu with photos though. The QR code scan didn’t work and take away text menu is hard for people doesn’t work all the Indian dishes. The mutton is pretty good but not as good as some other place I know. Not too far from the MRT and bus stop. Not too far from the hospital either just in case you have food coma 😂.

Filling and satisfying meal. We ordered the five different kinds of Tandoori Chicken. They were Smoky and flavourful, while not being dry. The Chicken Korma is rich, with decently generous soft and tender chicken thigh pieces. Gravy goes well with naan or rice. The onion naan and butter naan is big and fills you up well. Price is on the costlier side, but pretty worth if you know what you are ordering. And for the quality, it's worth a shot.

This place is great, one of the best Northern Indian restaurants around. Service is good, food is awesome. The malai fish was so tender and juicy, grilled to perfection. Palak paneer was tasty and well seasoned. Navrattan korma was a random new dish we decided to try and it definitely didn't disappoint! It was vegetables in a cashew and cream based sauce. Everything comes perfectly together with their garlic and butter naan. Oh the sweet lassi, so thick and creamy. Service was exceptional as well. The gentleman covering my table was polite and answered any questions we had about the food. He also offered some suggestions and was super friendly.

Waited so long for the food to come, restaurants wasn’t even full. Supposed to be “famous” for tandoori, but the tikka chicken came in cold, and overly priced. 8$ for 2 small pieces as shown on the photo. Service is horrible too

This is the go to place for me and my friend. They definitely serve the best Punjabi food in Singapore. The service is quick and waiters are attentive. The owner runs the place himself explains why the things are so orderly. Reserve your place if you are visiting on weekends, it's open until very late though. A big thumbs up

Had dinner with 3 friends and ordered quite a variety of food. Initially we thought it may not be enough but we were very full when we took our last bite. We sat upstairs in the air-conditioned section. The tables there are all shaky! The samosa is unique and one of the chicken dishes was very spicy. The basket of naan was great to soothe the burning tongue. It would be an added plus point to the restaurant if warm or cold drinking water could be served. We paid about $120 in total.

Absolutely delicious Indian food in a fun open air location with a corner view of the street. Friendly service; we left, saying we'd probably be back and were greeted warmly when we did. Curries are delicious and the pakoras are tasty too. Chili pakoras are no joke though, super spicy!

Wow! Excellent flavors. My wife, a vegetarian, and I, not, had a terrific lunch here. The tandoori chicken and mushrooms were spot on authentic. Coming from the US, where Indian food was massacred with blandness, this was a refreshing reminder of how exquisite Indian food can be.

Finally tried this place as I was super hungry. Turned out they had an air conditioned section at level 2. The chicken bryani was nice although I wished there was more portions of chicken meat. Service was fast.

Khansama serves one of the best North Indian food in Little India. The food is a bit pricier but the quality, taste and service is absolutely good. There is an AC and non-AC section. The AC section serves alcohol as well. We tried the following, Chicken Tikka Masala (Spicy) Mutton Rogan Ghosh Butter Naan Tandoori Roti I would recommend this place for Indian food.

Minimum Budget for 2 : 30-50 Sgd Ambiance : good Food : good The prices here are on little higher side. The ambiance of the place is good to take family or friends. The premise of the resturant is bit congested. I won't say the food tasted great but it was okay. Nothing too amazing.

Recommended by an Indian colleague, the food is good quality - Tried the excellent and spicy lamb kebab, chicken tandoori, dark Dahl, garlic naan. V tasty the average price is higher than average you should expect at around $35 per head to match the food quality.

Khansama is probably the closest to authentic Punjabi food I have eaten in Singapore. You have a choice of seating outdoors (at the ground floor or go upstairs for air conditioning). I highly recommend sitting upstairs. I ordered Paneer Butter Masala (SGD 18.50, $13.70) and Butter Nan (SGD 4.0, $3). Paneer Butter Masala was creamy buttery with the right level of sweet and spice. Nan was soft and fluffy. The prices are on the higher side but I recommend visiting at least once. The ambience was good, the tables were a little shaky.

We tried the tandoori mushrooms and fried paneer for starters - the servings were huge and pretty tasty. For mains we had the dal makhani, saag paneer and butter chicken with rice and naan. We had to ask them to tone down the spice a little, which they were very kind about. The food was really good and we definitely couldn’t finish everything. Would only skip the salad next time!

Had the yummiest chicken tikka masala in Singapore so far! Awesome fresh, well-marinated tender boneless pieces and amazing spices! I love slightly spicy food and warning for people who don't: you may probably have to tell them to serve less spicy in that case, because the default spice level is pretty high! Gulped the main course with two draft beer mugs. A very filling experience priced at a reasonably good rate I must say! The ambience is peaceful as well despite this place being at the junction of two busy streets. Also had gulabjamuns for dessert and they were delicious! Awesome food overall and I'll definitely visit the second time.

What a gem of a find this place is; the food is fantastic. The menu is vast so we just told our fabulous waiter Rishi the sort of things we liked and he selected for us. Not too much, not too little and it was all perfect. Highly recommend.

The food is amazing. I'll definitely be back again. Felt very authentic. Service is great 👍 It's got one of the best naan bread and dal. Chicken tikka masala is delicious and quite spicy.. mutton curry is highly recommended.

Food was excellent! The dishes were all so flavourful. Garlic butter naan hit the spot. Service was a tad slow but that might be due to it being a Friday night.

A really enjoyable dinner at Khansama! We had the chicken tikka masala, gobi masala, palak paneer, plain naan and tandoori roti to share among 2. Bill came up to $50+ for 2, slightly pricey if I may say so but at least every dish was spot on! Good and prompt service too :)
