👍 Pretty good value set lunch menu on weekdays. Chowder and pork sausage were great. Dessert options could be better. I had the lemon cake option for dessert with the mandarin verbena sorbet. It was okayish. They have amazing desserts in the shop- would be great to have those as dessert options for ad... Visited in Jan 2022. In general, all the starters we ordered were great (frog leg, endives, cod fish liver, goose). The truffle pasta was remarkable. However, the rest of the main dishes were a little on the saltier side, but this is just subjective.

My beloved and I celebrated Valentine's dinner, enjoying a warm welcome. However, we were informed we needed to vacate by 8 pm. Seated by a window facing the outdoor area, we felt the outdoor setting could benefit from some decor improvements. Opting for different dining choices, my dear chose a 4-course set menu, while I went with à la carte. Although the pan-fried foie gras was enjoyable, I found the portion overwhelming with three pieces. The mixed sausages, featuring pork and lamb, were less impressive, particularly the overly salty lamb sausage with a strong gamy smell. My wife's set included a delightful cup of lobster bisque, perfectly sized for enjoyment. The smoked salmon tartare was refreshing but perhaps too abundant. The beef tenderloin provided a lovely conclusion to the meal, followed by dessert. The service, especially from Francis, was exceptional, with him taking the initiative to capture our moments. Despite the top-notch service, we found the food and beverages rather expensive, closing the evening with a $400 bill, including a bottle of promotional wine.

After couple of years, have decided to visit this French restaurant at Dempsey again. The set lunch is great!!! The oven-baked Norwegian Mackerel Fillet is very fresh. The Fresh Burrata Cheese with French "Summer" Heirloom Tomatoes is a MUST-ORDER. The restaurant service is very good and I will definitely patronize this restaurant again.

What's not to like. Food is really good: the beouf bourgignon is fork tender, the lamb rack perfectly cooked. Also had the specials for their dessert - excellent fig tart and creme brulee that was made perfectly. Service is attentive. The place is surrounded by lotsa greens. And unlike alot of places inside Dempsey this place is actually accessible by the bus since it's near the main road

Had a very good dinner here. We ordered a few starters. The bread basket and brioche bread goes well with the duck foie gras to terrine and the French butter as well. The mussels, grilled octopus, fried mushroom balls were very delicious. The pasta had a very heavy blue cheese taste and might not be a dish for everyone. You need red wine to wash it down. The 1kg Angus prime ribs went well with the generous peppers.

Celebrated our anniversary here and the food and service was excellent! Our server recommended the grilled squid and winter truffle pasta (both are seasonal dishes). The grilled squid was charred perfectly and stuffed with risotto and chorizo, light but impactful. Truffle pasta was good, but nothing especially mind blowing, would give it a pass next time. We also ordered the grilled barramundi in seafood saffron broth, probably our favorite dish. The broth was very creamy and tasty, but it kind of overshadowed the freshness of the fish. Would definitely be back again to try more dishes! Also very big thank you to our server, Francis. Thank you for taking the time to explain and recommend the dishes, and dissuading us from ordering another dish because it would be too much. Happy 2 years anniversary of being in Singapore! 😊

My dad booked this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. The food was excellent. The only negative point which is preventing me from giving a five star review was the two hour time limit on the table. During our meal, our server informed us that we will need to move to an outdoor dining area. This doesn’t really suit the french dining experience and made us feel rushed.

Authentic French restaurant. Service is excellent. Champagne Oyster was super good. Champagne taste is a clever touch that elevate the oyster taste. Steam mussels cooked so well that can't stop eating it and the saffron cream sauce with herbs make it taste super good. (normally mussel in other places were dry due to over cooked). Its a must to order dish. Roasted lamb portion is bigger then we expect, but meat was soft, tender and juicy, and the roasted garlic went so well with the meat. Dessert was Rhubarb crumble with strawberry ice cream. The warm crumble and rhubarb mixed with ice cream taste so good. We arrived at 6.30pm which early and less crowded but it was dramatically busy after we ordered our foods. Suggest to make reservation to avoid disappointment. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

We were a large group and booked the whole restaurant. The staff managed well, and we completed our lunch on time. Service was a little compromised but that is understood. On the whole, the food was excellent. The beef cheek was flavourful and tender. Duck rillette was great. I am not a fand of tomato soup and still managed to finish half a bowl. We love the cold platter.

high end French restaurant (but a bit noisy), with very friendly staff, recommending the dishes of the day. the oyster in champagne cream sauce remind me the day in Paris. Mussels in saffrom cream sauce, unlike the normal ones in white wine sauce, this is really the best dish! Mussels are not overly cooked, still very juicy. We also tried the oven roasted lamb leg, the portion is so big. Meat is tender and soft. it's a very pleasant dinner and will definitely go back again for the mussels.

Driving down to a slope before Entering the Atout restaurant, and walk down few steps before arrive the restaurant that surrounded green, kind of soothing. The service is great as the server did not rush us to order but asking us to start with entree first. All the dishes is great, ambience is good. There always a down side in every restaurant, here they do not offer a side stool for you to put your bag, they asked you to scan the menu to check on what we like. In the currently situation that everyone has using so much screen time for work and zoom, tv and so on. Who like to use the small little phone to look at the menu, that really bad.

Amazing restaurant. Menu changes regularly (new specials). Impeccable service. Excellent food. Consistent quality. Good value for money. Highly recommended. Try the lentil salad. Simplicity at its best. So many good things on the menu. Enjoy!

Can see why this place is so busy on a Friday night : restaurant was fully booked, service is impeccable, and everything was delicious. The hake fish was one of the most tender I’ve tasted and the hanger steak and linguine were cooked to perfection. They also have a shop on the second floor where you can buy some cakes, ice cream and cheese to enjoy at home!

Went there for lunch. Ordered the 3 courses set lunch. The 2 of us had lobster bisque, grilled Octopus, onglet steak, duck breast, truffle brie and chocolate log cake. Also add on duck rillette and pan seared foie gras. Lobster bisque is interestingly served in a coffee cup, it's pretty good but can get a bit jelak. Recommended to share between 2 pax. Grilled Octopus is okay. It's a bit overcooked, was hoping it to be a bit more tender. Some parts was a bit charred as well, probably not worth topping up to get this. Duck rillette is not bad, was surprisingly not as salty as I thought it would be. Goes quite well with on Bread. 100g is quite a big serving for 2 pax as an appetiser. Pan seared foie gras is good. A teeny bit overcooked in my opinion. But apple puree and almond crumble go so well with the fatty foie gras. Onglet steak is pretty good but a bit tough. Good beefy flavour but for me the star of this dish is the fries. So mind blown by it. Totally did not expect it. I'd totally try the truffle fries on my next visit. The duck breast is not bad. Very tender and juicy! Truffle brie is very enjoyable. Goes so well with the crackers. All in all, a very enjoyable lunch. Will come back again for special occasions for sure!

I find the food not as good as pre covid. The lamb with rosemary was not to my liking, and the peppercorn beef was too tough. I would applaud that the service staffs are very professional. The boss is lucky to hire people like Francis, who recommended us enough amount of food to fill our tummy, yet not overly filling. Their homemade truffle brie is still as good, but they have inflated the price so much. From $16 to $28 for 200g, which is a whopping increase of 75%!!

Certainly a wonderful experience at Atout! We savored a delectable meal consisting of peppercrusted roasted Angus beef, refreshing chilled cucumber gazpacho soup, and truffle brie. I'd like to give a special thank to Francis, whose exceptional service and accommodating demeanor truly stood out.

Love that the outdoor area is pet-friendly. Finally a place where we can get great food, great service, and yet bring our dogs along. Francis (our server) made great recommendations, and delivered the best service I’ve seen in some time. He was almost like a trusty friend who genuinely cared that we had a good experience. What a rare gem! The steamed artichoke was great, as with the rest of the food. Nothing we didn’t like at all.

First time dining in the restaurant though I’ve previously had a company lunch in the private area upstairs and also ordered via delivery. The ambience is great and I’d imagine might be even prettier at lunch given the greenery surrounding the dining room We were there on a Saturday night and it was fully packed, but the good thing is the tables are spaced apart so it didn’t feel too noisy or overwhelming We had the duck rilette, pork pate and toasted brioche to start which was great. However, we had to wait pretty long (30-40 mins) for our mains to be served. The pepper crusted steak was as tasty as I remembered it to be, although we felt that it could have been warmer because by the time we were served it, it had definitely been cooled for awhile. The 40 clove garlic chicken was good too, and the portion was very generous! Service was quite warm and they were attentive to things like refilling our glasses so overall it was a pretty good dining experience

We’re back at the newly renovated Atout restaurant for a celebration. And their daily 3-course set lunch (starting at just $48++) is a deal too good to pass up. Indulge in the mouthwatering Woodfire Grilled Octopus, a fusion of Piquillo and saffron Picada while having a bowl of the velvety Lobster Bisque. Though the girls love their Onglet steak, a reminiscent of the charming streets of Paris, their Roasted Duck Breast with Carrot Puree and Orange Sauce is equally good.

The French restaurant offers delicious food, especially the rabbit stew and sausages, which were delightful. The foie gras and steak were also excellent choices. However, I was slightly disappointed with the fish dish, as it reminded me of the ones you would find at a Zhi Char place in a hawker center. Despite this, overall, the restaurant provided a good dining experience with its tasty offerings and atmosphere.

We ordered the 1kg Angus beef. Presentation was good but the taste was just average. Also ordered the creamed spinach and truffle fries for sides. The sides are quite large and not the typical amount that you get in other restaurants.

Mushroom soup was one of the best I had so far. Barramundi was decent and chocolate pudding is not too sweet. If the portions were slightly bigger, that would have been perfect. Lunch set is reasonably priced and I would recommend that.

First time been to Atout, nice dining experience. Good ambience, excellent service, the Ribeye steak is mouthwatering, juicy and flavor in every bite. The red wine also played a good pair with the steak. Super delicious. Will be back again. 😋

Location and the ambience of the place is am absolute standout. Bistro style casual place, but still the big glass windows and the design is very appealing and gives it a great atmosphere. Tried a selection of their pates and they were all spectacular, pork pate with layers of thin cispy pastry and pistachio was wonderful. Ribeye Steak was again perfectly cooked, succulent and it was wonderful. Have a good selection of French, Italian and Australian wine selection and at a very decent price point.

Solid experience (we’ve been back for 2nd round ) for what I thought was fine dining white table cloth. Bistro style in a fancy setting. - truffle butter 💪 just get it - French onion was solid. Nothing over the moon but solid - set lunch soup was like a cream of seafood soup ? Nice enough but nothing to - pate and spreads can’t fault them were good - steak with shallots was good although slightly medium but might be cos wife is pregnant - 40 garlic clove chicken is a must have for me. Should be shared I struggled to finish on solo mission. About 40 bucks which is the same for everything else so for me real value for money and the star - mussels were a special before season finishes. Definitely for sharing and comes with side of fries or salad or bread. Great cream / wine sauce and fresh produce - duck confit wife said salty even with the mash but I think that’s common for all duck confits. Very well done and crispy. Maybe pair with a vegetable to lighten the saltiness - the chestnut “tart” is big thumbs up from me . Very simple looking but wow great flavour it’s almost like Yam (Or nee). Easy way to finish a meal Most mains are around 40 bucks so not cheap but all quality and great location. The store on level 2 is great it’s got everything packed up there to take home as well. The hazelnut chocolate pleasure “cake” is a must for eat or takeaway.

Delicious food! Thoroughly enjoyed the frog legs and sausages, lobster bisque and amazing deserts. The most delicious rhubarb crumble I ever tried. Prices are reasonable, service is great! Merci!

Lunch on 30 Nov 2021 - the 3-course set lunch is good - (1) country-style pork terrine with chestnuts & mushrooms; (2) braised venison stewed in red wine; (3) festive valrhona dark chocolate log cake. The drawback is that it is impossible to have a decent conversation when there's a full house as the noise is amplified by the hard surfaces and low ceiling. Be prepared to shout!

Was introduced by a close friend of mine that they served good French cuisine here. Finally have the chance to drop by dinner for 4 pax. We ordered quite a bit of appetisers before hitting on to the main. The cherry tomatoes were just appetising and refreshing. The lobster bisque n French onion soup is an must order soup whenever visiting a French restaurant. We ordered the warm goose pork in puff pastry and it was so so good. Texture and taste were just too good. Learnt that it was seasonal. Sausages are wow too. Every dishes were executed perfect and nothing was missing. We had a great great night, belly is full. Serving staffs were all attentive and friendly. Kudos keep it up! Thank you

Very nice decor and atmosphere. Was in the wine room. Very exclusive and cozy. Appetizers were all nice. Escargot was nice and tasty, I usually don’t care much for it, but this one was ok. Cheese platter was a nice, good variety with some nuts and dried fruit. Frog legs I’m not usually a big fan of, but these were nicely seasoned and pan fried carefully and just nice. Beef tongue was a bit soso. Seasoning and taste was nice, but was more of a ham-ish presentation. Might just be preference in terms of thickness, but I would prefer a chunkier cut that is stewed. And the 500g prime rib was just WOW. First the steak was just perfectly cooked. Asked for medium rare and the huge piece of meat was just PERFECT. I ordered the pepper crust which was AMAZING. Lastly they cut into cubes so can share. Would definitely be going back again.

Great place for excellent food. When I first was invited to this French restaurant, I was thinking the portions would be small but they weren't. Had a hearty meal. Each dish was good but maybe we didn't manage to choose those that went well with each other, so the meal felt too rich. Could have done with more acid I think. Service was attentive and prompt. The restaurant was packed tonight but we didn't feel the service was ever slow. (Though the food took a while to prepare but that is to be expected.) Parking is ample. Really! Three areas to park, no issue at all.

The frog legs are incredibly tasty! Loved the garlic in the olive oil that we could also dip our breads in! The oven-baked prime beef is so delicious, done just right (medium-rare) with generous portions of shallots and garlic! I could eat this everyday 😂

101% will come again! Have been here a few times and the food does not disappoint! Love the ambience here as well! Food is superb really. Must try the frogleg and the cheese and the tropical sangria drink…. 🤤🤤 Good place to celebrate birthday or special occasion as well. Most importantly the service here is awesome. Very attentive and friendly.

Best French restaurant in Singapore hands down! We have been to many, and as my husband is French, he has always been on the lookout for good French food. The food we had yesterday was just incredible to say the least - all ingredients were super fresh, the Gratin Dauphinois and steak in particular were out of this world. Every dish we ordered was impeccably made, and the service standards were just 1000/10. Would give 10 stars if I could!

  • 5/5 Y W. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely ambience and prompt friendly service. Set lunch was value for money although the supplements were quite fair bit more, but worth it. Love the well done lobster, very fleshy and perfectly cooked. Salad was very good too! Do add the burrata as it really elevates the dish.

Heirloom beetroot salad was very fresh, sweet and balanced with a tangy vinaigrette. The white and yellow varieties tasted less earthy than the common purple ones. The bread basket came with half a French baguette and sourdough, truffle butter, and French butter, which went well with the escargot. Chestnut and celeriac soup was silky smooth and tasty.
