Great food but slightly expensive. Tom Yum Prawn Soup is very aromatic and spicy and was the best amongst the order. Red curry is also very good and not too spicy with amazing flavours. Pandan chicken wasn’t good as the meat was chewy and not succulent. Had to leave it.

A-Roy Thai Restaurant serves very yummy Thai food! For the yummyness, you need to pay more for it. You need to have everyone present before you are allowed to enter as there are usually buzzing with people during lunch office hours. We had Tom yum soup, mango salad, prawn cake, spring roll, red ruby and chendol. The Tom yum soup is not too spicy. The fish and seafood is fresh and nice. The manage salad is appetising. Peanuts and mango are crunchy. The prawn cake has a sweet sauce to go with. It's fried but not too oily. The spring roll is crispy and nice with the sweet chilli sauce. The red Ruby and chendol are not too sweet and simply delicious!

Fantastic meal here at A-Roy Thai. Was a Sunday night around 8+ but the restaurant was still bustling, will recommend to make a reservation if you come during the peak dinner timings. The meal itself was delightful, not the regular local style Thai food but according to my gf, it had more Northern Thai influences to it but more importantly, done well. Prices are not cheap, 1 appetizer, 3 mains and 2 drinks set us back around $90+ compared to the regular Thai food places but this is money well spent. The lemongrass salad was fantastic, a must order (the staff don't tell you but you eat it with the wrap on the side). Tom yum kung was good, not mind blowing but definitely above average. The Grilled Pork was done very differently, in a good way, a spicier way actually. The service was friendly and the food came out surprisingly fast. The grilled pork took a bit longer but the rest of the dishes came first. Would definitely return! But have to budget myself else it'd really burn a huge hole in my pocket!

Super disappointed by the tamarind prawn soup with vegetables (item 18A). For $15.90++, it had two tiny measly prawns. Veggies were cabbage, broccoli and carrot - which were too raw. And the soup was too spicy to drink - even though we had requested "less spicy" at the point of ordering but told that it is not spicy. Thankfully the stuffed fried chicken wings redeemed the meal somewhat - these were juicy and flavourful. Not cheap either though. Not great for a first experience, but we will give it another shot (without this soup).

A very good lunch sans the stuffed chicken wings (cannot compare to YingThai's - lacks finesse and flavour). The food suits those with zhòng kǒu wèi (strong flavour) as it is well-seasoned but not too sweet. Especially love the baby kailan and very fresh fish.

From Thailand's Isaan province, known for robust, spicy flavours and fragrant herbs, A-Roy Thai Restaurant takes pride in its 30-year history serving authentic Northern Thai cuisine. The highlight was the Deep Fried Stuffed Chicken Wings and the Lemongrass Salad. The green curry was also flavourful and of the right texture👍🏼 Highly recommended

Tried the new outlet in T2, Changi Airport and must say we were all blown away by the huge servings and how delicious the dishes are. Went with a group of 9 and We each ordered mains and a few side dishes. All dishes were prepared on point and gave us the feeling of having authentic thai food in Thailand. Must try the fried pork, morning glory (lots of wok hei), Tom yum clear soup, crab curry, and spring rolls!

Mum’s friend recommended this restaurant for dinner and we went back to this restaurant twice within the week. The food was amazing. Great and friendly staff! Highly recommended and great to go with family or group of friends. Authentic Thai food!

The service here is excellent! Very attentive and friendly, helpful at suggesting dishes too. It was much appreciated. The food is excellent as well, every dish we had was distinct in its flavors and very tasty. Some of the dishes were a tad on the sweeter side for my preference but otherwise very authentic

Amazing food, every dish was superb! Would definitely come again! We ordered fish green curry, shrimp pancake 3pcs, scrambled omelette with minced pork, stir fry kai lan, Thai iced tea and a coconut shake.

We had a lunch treat at A-Roy Thai Restaurant at Novena Square. There were 9 of us, we may have over ordered as there were leftovers. I must say that the Thai food here is really delicious and authentic. Special mention of the fish (cooked in lime sauce) - very fresh and well cooked. As it was a treat, I don’t know the actual bill amount paid. Definitely will come back - suggest in a group of 6 or more so you can order a variety of dishes. Tip: share the rice so you can enjoy the dishes

Came on a Saturday noon for lunch and was pretty crowded though no queue. Water is not complimentary. Appetisers were keropok w spicy tangy sauce which was nice. Ordered quite a lot and honestly all is amazing!! Can't really go into detail cause all is too good. But honestly speaking the Cai Po omelette is a MUST ORDER. Super crispy authentic thai omelette with sweet crunchy cai po! Thai Green curry was also super flavourful and rich! Pad Thai was chewy, moist and also super filling.

Had our dinner here. Hard copy menu price was outdated, so scan QR Code can see the latest price. Crowded during dinner time, but staffs working efficiency, fast action to sort out the seat for us. Table arrangement quite close to each other, so perhaps is good place to eat but not stay long. We ordered some simple dishes, overall all taste are nice and yummy. Personally feel the mango sticky rice little pricy.

I and my friend and the kids dined for lunch today. It was the first time in our lives that a restaurant server can speak rudely. We found a hair strand in the tom yum soup after having 2 spoons…. She was insisting that its a lemongrass strand… because she could not find the hair strand in the tom yum soup. She kept saying seeing is believing… After all that fiasco that took place, i happened to find the hair strand and there was no sorry or whatsoever from her. The way she spoke to us is not nice at all. She even mentioned that she will not remove the tom yum soup from the bill. We clearly told her its not about the bill.. we just want to inform you that their is a hair strand inside the tom yum. We ordered alot Of food. Surprising to hear that tone of speaking. Then while paying at the counter we spoke to the owner… he did not even apologise and mentioned its a lemongrass strand. I told him i already showed your staff its a hair strand and she acknowledged it. Waste of time to even go to such restaurants. Service has dropped tremendously.. used to frequent this place in the past alot since funan center. Hospitality : 0 Quality of food : 0 Pricing: overpriced Service: 0 Taste: 0

A wonderful experience. From entry to end. Was attended to the moment arrive at Restaurant. As prior reservation was done, brought to the table immediately. Lucky to get a window seat! Vast variety of food on the classice menu style. Provides an overall easy to browse pages with pictures illustrations for their popular dishes. Food and drinks came quick. All were freshly cooked and had uts own taste, not too powerful or overpowering in spices. Staff was attentive throughout, clears dirty dishes as and when emptied. Will totally visit again. Good place to bring clients for a meal.

Nice cosy joint for authentic Thai food. Will overall recommend with below dishes tried: -Crisy garlic fried pork belly : really good recommendation by the staff. This is not on the menu but has fantastic flavours. Wasn’t overly fatty as well. -steam seabass with spicy sour soup - Chili Kang Kong is pretty standard.

Ordered: - grilled pork which has the very good balance of the fats and meat. I absolutely love this and will definitely come back for this (only if I’m forgoing my diet 😂) - clear Tom yum which has a mild sour and spicy taste. Felt that i might enjoy it more if it’s more sour and spicy as it tastes just mehhhhh. Lots of squids, fish and mushroom tho! - omelette crab where the egg was very very fluffy yet crispy on the outer. But I can’t taste the flavour of crab and I had this dish thinking it’s just plain egg (my cousin said it will be better to order the prawn omelette so that u can see the prawn meat) - pad Thai tasted like the normal pad Thai (honestly can someone share with me how a plate of amazing pad Thai should taste? With wokhey??? 😂😂😂) - kailan which tasted quite clean yet doesn’t have the glassy taste (if you are like me who hates vegetables, this is a perfect option for you cos it doesn’t have the vegetables taste 😂) - Thai green tea had a very strong pandan taste and normal Thai iced tea was a little sweet (but I like it) and has the dry tea after taste (which I believe is normal to have) Ambience was good, but it’s not enticing enough that would bring me back so 3 stars especially since food was decent

This Thai restaurant is one of the best I've tried in Singapore. All the food are very nice and authentic. The only downside is, its not very cheap compared to alot of Thai restaurants in the outer suburbs, $80 sgd for 2 people. I would say double the price of normal Thai restaurant, but it's ok if you fancy good food 😋. 😊 eating

We ordered red curry with beef, tom yum gong with prawns, bean sprouts with salted fish and omelette egg. Total damage is about $80. The taste is good but prices are a little on the high side.

Located at a convenient place at Level 3 at Novena Square. A very decorated big place. Staff are helpful and friendly. Vegetarian dishes are available. Fried chicken omelette, tom yam (spicy) soup are awesome. Enjoyed the lunch meal and portions with the four of us. The price may be slightly pricer but the food is really tasty. If you feel like eating good Thai food, this is recommended.

Quite a busy Thur evening dinner crowd! Definitely a favourite w regular customers who like authentic Thai food. Food was served fast and hot and tasty. Pad- Thai was fried perfect and the stuffed Chicken Wings always a favourite. Good portions and lots to choose from the menu. Including the mango sticky rice dessert. Enjoy!

Well-cooked and very delicious! Staffs were friendly and dishes were served fast. You can smell the aromas of the foods immediately when they arrived. Colleagues and I were here to lo hei, and the yusheng was fresh. Staffs also know the culture well and led us in saying the auspicious phrases. The only cons is the price. Pocket had quite a big hole after this meal. 😂

Saw the lady boss outside the kitchen removing my vermicelli. .. unhygienic and use random fork to take food out of the plate. When I asked them, they just said they have to maintain the portion size, in case next time I expect the same big portion... the presentation of the food is so bad and was charged $12.90 for this. No choice cause its the lady boss who is stingy and nobody can said anything. I just hope they don serve the extra vermicelli of mine to the next customer...

This place is very clean and the servers sterilise the tables and chairs thoroughly. Authenticity is legit from the quality of food and you can see many Thai diners as well. Tom yum soup has a kick and is not for non-spicy eaters. Hope to try the curries in future.

We went to A-Roy for a family dinner over the weekend. We are vegetarians and this restaurant has a complete section for vegetarians in their menu. The food was extremely tasty. Quantity provided was sufficient, though we ordered more than what we could eat at that time and had to pack the leftovers. The prices are reasonable too for a restaurant of that nature. We ordered soup for 4, one salad, one starter, 3 main courses, 3 drinks and one dessert. Service is quick and efficient. The only thing I’d advise the owners and managers of this nice restaurant is to find a way to remove unpleasant smells by having adequate ventilation, as the hanging smells of fried seafood can stick to your clothes.

Authentic Thai cuisine that tastes similar to food in BKK. Well balanced flavours and not too oily. Only minor point is they have raised the price recently. Comfortable seat and decent service too.

Enjoyed family lunch here today. Food came really quickly and most of the dishes were pretty yummy. My favorites included the red duck curry, olive rice and omelette with minced pork & chaipoh. But the outstanding dish was the lemongrass with shrimp and cashews.

During the weekend, we had our lunch at this restaurant. Despite the lunchtime crowd, the staff efficiently managed to find us a seat promptly. The tables were arranged in close proximity to one another, so it is recommended as a good place to eat but not for lingering. The hard copy menu prices were outdated, but we were able to view the latest prices by scanning the QR code. We ordered some simple dishes, and overall, the taste was delicious and satisfying.

1st time trying this place, recommended by friends. Few good dishes that I like, including the prawns omelette, which is not that oily. Prawn cake is nice too. On the whole, recommended with 4-stars.

Awesome taste. Loved the lemon grass drink. The food was tasty with nice flavors. Soup was awesome too. Service was sock and responsive. I ran out of the sauce given with the crab crackers but they served a refill very quickly.

Loved having dinner here with my friend Tom Yam (clear) soup was superb. Such a clean taste. The tartness was just right. The fluffy crabmeat omelette was wonderful. Enjoyed the stir fried soft shell crab too; very flavourful. Didn't like the stuffed chicken wings though. The meat was marinated well, the stuffing was a bit dry and not as well flavoured as it could be. Green curry chicken was a great portion and the gravy was thick and yummy with rice!

We came at around 8.30pm to 9pm on a weekday evening and were surprised that we were allowed to still come in for a meal this late. The food came quickly. The chili spiciness was just nice - unlike some places that make your eyes water just by looking at the dish. The dishes are a bit sweet, but that seems to be how Thai food is. The atmosphere was relaxed and we didn't feel hurried to leave even though it was late. Great service from YiXin and Sue. Thank you very much for being so accommodating and friendly.
