SCAM ALERT! STAY AWAY!!! The trick is: the (low) price of happy hour beer is shown outside the restaurant, along with a large list of food (suspiciously without prices). By the time you sat down, you already know what you want, so you order your beer and your food. The food comes, it’s a ridiculously tiny portion, but at least you’ve got cheap cold beer. Then the bill comes. $4 for the beer, $48 for three tiny scallop skewers (each with 3 scallops and 2 tiny slices of green pepper - I kid you not). With tax and service charge, it came to $61. You could have a sumptuous meal in Singapore for that price. It ruined my day. Always read restaurant reviews.

The food is rubbish and the waiter couldn't be bothered to bring us our bill. We had to get up and pay at the counter after wasting our time waiting. The two good things about this place is the view and the cheap drinks during happy hours, but there are other better restaurants offering the same thing along the quay. I regret not checking out Google Reviews before visiting this place!

The service is simply awful. They say the tables near the water are taken, but if you show up in a suit, suddenly, there's a spot just for you. Don't have a suit? Then, it seems like you're invisible to them. Sit wherever you find space. They'll try to get you to buy the most expensive things on the menu. If you don't, they pretty much ignore you. Your order might even end up forgotten on the counter until someone finally remembers to bring it to you. All in all, if you don't want to end up annoyed by how they treat people, it's probably best to just avoid this place.

I deeply regret not reading reviews before dining at this restaurant. The experience was nothing short of disappointing. The portion sizes were shockingly small, leaving us hungry despite the hefty price tags. Speaking of prices, they were exorbitant for what was offered – a true rip-off. The service was beyond horrendous. Not only were the servers unattentive and inattentive, but they also had an attitude that made us feel unwelcome. What's worse, the menu seemed to be a façade; I wanted to order beef, only to be told it wasn't available. A quick Google review search later revealed this was a recurring issue, and it seems the restaurant uses this tactic to attract unsuspecting customers. To add insult to injury, out of the four dishes we ordered, the tofu dish never arrived. We had nearly finished our meal when the server casually mentioned that they forgot to prepare it. This kind of incompetence is unacceptable. Even after repeatedly reminding the server about my missing dish, it still didn't make its appearance. Despite the restaurant not being crowded, our order was repeatedly botched, and the servers seemed incapable of remembering even the simplest requests. To top it all off, the final bill left us in shock – $270 for four dishes and five servings of white rice? This restaurant is an overpriced, mismanaged disaster that I'd strongly advise anyone to steer clear of.

Did not read the terrible reviews when I went to Forum seafood restaurant for lunch. The Filipino waitress was quite persuasive so I thought I would give the restaurant a try especially when riverside seating was available and happy hour rates for beer were particularly attractive The “secret ingredient beef shin” portion was small. Beef was a bit dry but the sauce dip was yummy with a right balance of spice and sweetness Braised seafood bee hoon had three large prawns and lala which were fresh. Gravy was spicy but delicious with Thai inspired gravy.I did enjoy this dish which presented a different take on the usual sea food bee hoon. It’s a bit pricey though at $20 but still worth a try. However happy hour $7.80 for Erdinger and $5 for Hoegarden sort of made up for the food prices!

Worst food I've ever had in Singapore and hugely overpriced. Didn't check reviews before going to this place and now I see why they're rated so low. $15 for 6 chicken satay is a total rip off, they were tiny and not the freshest. $28 for a small Thai green curry without rice included (price goes up to $40+ for medium and even higher for large) but wasn't the worst dish on the menu, flavour was OK but lacked the richness and spice of a good Thai green curry. In the end ordered an overpriced small rice. Chicken feet were awful, very floppy with no taste. $18 is again, way overpriced. Service was OK, no major complaints here accept a little slow except when they ask if you want another drink. The Mandarin speaking auntie who served us was good though but the rest of the staff were lacking a bit. So disappointed with the experience. This area is a known tourist trap and you're paying extra for the views. I recommend going elsewhere, even delicious, cheap local hawker food over this.

The staff were nice and friendly. They try and entice you to come in on the street, but that made me feel some sort of way, so that’s okay. The duck indeed had a strange grey water, but that’s okay because we all need a little bit of excitement in our lives. It tasted fine. They also taught me that I shouldn’t be greedy by charging me for three drinks though I only had two.

Surprised to find the rating quite so low. The food I had was fresh and the staff took care in seating and serving me. That said, one waitress was unhelpful in answering my questions on the menu (it was my first day in Singapore), and, despite the location, it was all really grossly overpriced. Million dollar view, sure, but you have better choices close by.

This restaurant was rude and disrespectful. When we informed them that the food portions were unacceptably small and tasted like they were reheated food cooked yesterday, the old man gave us a dirty look and was not hospitable at all. I would strongly suggest that any diner goes to any restaurant other than this one in Singapore. It is simply the worst. It is also a lie that they are on the Michelin guide

Horrible service. One of the male staff (waiter/cook?) carried our food out in the rain without any umbrella. We told one of the female staff, she went to talk to the male staff and the male staff shouted back at the female staff. Very unprofessional

Total ripoff! Seafood fried rice consists of rice with a couple of chopped prawns. Tom yam soup is served in a cup. Service is awful. Food arrives at very different times from order. Typical boat quay restaurant looking to prey on tourists. Avoid.

Tourists place! We felt like they cheated us, we were charged 80 EUR for two people and we were even hungry. We definitely never recommend to anyone and we won’t be back! They were mistaken with the bill, after we paid, we realised that some beer weren’t ours and they only said, I told you to review it… We did not get the money back… avoid this place

The atmosphere is good but the food is ridiculously expensive and in such a tiny portion, how am I supposed to get full? I felt like screaming after seeing the recipe. I wasted 80 dollars on my meal and still didn't get full. I can use 5 dollars to buy fishball noodles and a slushy. At least it will get me full!!! Absolutely hate this place. 🤬💢🤬 Don't come here, it is a scam.

Steer clear. Poor experience. Drinks measures are short. They don't have half of what is on the menu and then push you to buy the cheapest proteins, like chicken. As soon as they said they had no beef we should have walked out but we were starving after just arriving. Would never visit again.

Many years ago, I was told this by a veteran CID investigator, who said that if u come across an eatery where the food is unbelievably awful, service is so bad that u suspect whether they prefer u don't patronise n continue to operate defying the basic laws of economics, then there is a possibility this is a front for sinister purposes.

If I can give a lower score than 1/5, I will. Horrible! Too expensive, hot and the food is really subpar. Mixed rice better than this. The waitress took so long to serve our plain rice, and we had to remind her many times. The food took at least 40 mins to get served. Not worth! Worst experience with any restaurant

Terrible restaurant; the tables were dirty, there was soup on the floor and the staff were so slow! When I ordered "Seafood Rice", I was expecting a decent meal. It was so expensive and it took over an hour to be served! My order composed of overcooked prawns and rice! I couldn't use my phone as there was no WIFI. Horrible food, slow staff, extremely dirty, really expensive, and no WIFI. Never coming back.

I recently dined at Tian Tian Fisherman’s Pier, also known as Forum Restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The restaurant, which had a nice area, fell short in several key areas. Firstly, the food quality was underwhelming. The dishes lacked the freshness and flavor one would expect from a reputable establishment. The presentation was lackluster, and food is extremely overpriced. detracting significantly from the overall dining experience. I had high hopes for a pleasant dining experience at Tian Tian Fisherman’s Pier, but the reality was a stark contrast. Both the food quality and the level of service were subpar, and it's unfortunate that the restaurant did not live up to its reputation. I hope this feedback is taken as constructive criticism, as there is certainly much room for improvement. $200 for this LOL.

Wah this place sucks sia got one damn smelly dead hairy rat in my fish then the waiter try slap me in the face for no reason. When I ask him what he wan he tell me to get out. Afterwards I found out I was charged 7 times the actual cost of my order that I didn't get to even touch. Unacceptable. My wheelchair bound friend and my friend of colour was also denied entry prior to the incident aforementioned.

Was so hungry late night and was invited with insistence by a staff from the restaurant. Food and service are horrible. The worst restaurant along Boat Quay I’ve been to 😫

If I have to say one word - BEWARE 4 May 22 had a lunch at this place. 4 people. Low quality food with very high price. Basic Thai chicken curry (normal quantity) SGD42. Beef dish medium portion (actually very small) SGD42, nothing special. We ordered half duck and waiter said duck and chicken dishes sold out and suggested very expensive fish. Lucky that we didn't accept it.

Good Place for Seafood but quite expensive. Theres over 100 restaurants on Clarks Quay which has all live seafood to Choose from. I tried the signature Singapore Chilli Crab with Bun. It was expensive (300$). Do be there if you want to have some good seafood chilling around the river side. There are less expensive options available in this locality. Do check their menu before deciding.

Many good food options, but a bit on the expensive side. Honestly for its location, the food prices are fair, but my rating mostly is regarding the bathrooms. They were not clean, no lights, and no soap to wash your hands with. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, if not for the bathrooms I would go back again.

Sweet sour chicken doesn't have chicken in it and the portion was ridiculously small. The price was high. Dumplings were better and the beer had a fair price

It’s not as bad as what the other reviews implied. The food is not bad but nothing exceptional. Service is fine although I heard that it is supposed to be terrible. My only complaint is that the price is pretty high. Probably because this place is a tourist trap.

Initially I was skeptical when I saw the bad reviews on google. However the crowd seem decent, and the food served to their customers seem good. Hence we decided to walk in. To my surprised, it was nothing like what the reviews mentioned. The service crew was fast despite the crowd, the food was awesome (The seafood were super fresh!), price was decent given that it’s in Boat Quay area. I think they deserves a 5-star!

Awful food kicking myself for seeing the Michelin guide signs and not checking reviews on here first... should have gone to mcdonalds. The prawns taste like cooked in really old oil, and its not the dish as advertised in the pictures. A good learning Experience

the food is very delicious and has received Michelin recognition in the past. unfortunately, the price level is not everyone's budget abilities but the drinks during happy hour are highly recommended with a great view at MBS and the Singapore river

Didn’t eat here (thank goodness). Just had happy hour drinks. But the manager just stands around pointing to his staff to do things and doesn’t do much to help the customers from what I could see. Very pushy to get you in to the restaurant but poor service once inside. On the plus side. Boat quay is great vibrant place and it’s right by the waters edge. Felt sorry for the lobsters stuck in their tank too !!

This place is fine with the food, just way too expensive. The waiters are overall nice but one wasn't very patient with our table. The seafood are ridiculously priced and thank god I didn't get them. The food was overall really 'meh' and pricey as well. Do go treat yourself with a nice but cheaper meal than this!

Very nice restaurant by the Singapore river. View was fantastic! The food took quite a while to be served but when it came, it was worth the wait. Every dish was delicious and they even gave us a free platter of fruits at the end of the meal. Will definitely come back here again

Food was amazing. The signature flying chopsticks crab was really delicious. Service was abit slow maybe due to shortage of staff but the amazing food more than made up for it. We chose an Alfresco table outside by the river and the view was quite good. I would suggest sitting outside and ordering their signature crab dish. Really one of the best crab I’ve had in Singapore. Overall, a good dining experience

Waiting so long but the taste is not as expected. We ordered pineapple fried rice, tom yum sea food, seafood omellete, kang kong spicy. Well all of them we ordered, only spicy kang kong is acceptable. I never feel the taste of horrible omellete, seriously so bad.The taste of pineapple fried rice is also not pretty good. After all I want to rate as zero😒.
