4.5🌟 for the food The kebabs were juicy and well seasoned bursting with spices and meaty flavor. Favorites in our Jumbo Kebab platter are the meatballs, eggplant, chicken and lamb. Fish was a bit dry. The platter serving meant for 2 is enough for 3 small eaters in my opinion. The chicken Sofra Kebab is a must try. Perfect combo and medley of flavors from smokey baked bread stuffed with chicken, eggplant, tomato, walnut , and oozing with cheese. Another must try is the Kunefe - cheese pastry topped with ice cream. Yummy.πŸ˜‹ 4 🌟 ambience Get a table by the window for the best views. The tables are also quite generously spaced apart for privacy, well ventilated, bright and definitely better their old place at Shaw. 3 🌟 for service Service is unfortunately still barely passable with 2 staff being quite gruff and indifferent. Also took the ordering tablet off our table without asking to another table so it took some time for us to get their attention (not easy - seem to be short handed) to order our dessert with a new tablet. 5🌟 to the boss who personally came to serve us more water and check how our night was going. πŸ‘

Exquisite Turkish restaurant that is extremely popular and booking needed. Food very delicious and portions are generous. Service also very attentive and able to give suggestions of recommended dishes. Definitely a must visit if you like this type of cuisine.

First of all, the staff even when the restaurant is almost full still comes to you with a smile and are quick to attention to you. Very pleasant place to dine in. We ordered the sesame bread and the hummus to start with and the bread was fluffy and hot and freshly baked. We had the mix grill for 2 and that was a huge platter. Everything on the platter was good but was too much to finish. When we asked the staff to pack the reminding food up, they didn’t just throw everything into a box and packed it up. They actually packed it up very nicely for us in different packs depending on the food. It was overall a very pleasant dinner and we would definitely go back again. The food is the main draw and the staff’s pleasant attitude add to the whole experience.

Loved the atmosphere here in this restaurant and the service staff is very friendly, I tried their hummus with bread and jumbo kebab. I am actually quite disappointed by the hummus as it was grainy and not smooth as I would have expected considering that I've been to the middle east in the past. The Kebab is a bit dry and the meat lacks flavor.

This Turkish restaurant in Singapore stands out as a culinary gem. The kebab platters, featuring a variety of meats including chicken, beef, and lamb, were absolutely delicious. The Turkish rice was a perfect complement, and the Kunafa was a delightful sweet finale. The overall dining experience was enhanced by attentive service, making it a top choice for those craving authentic Turkish cuisine in Singapore.

Long awaited trip to this restaurant located at Marina Square. The Restaurant sets the right mood for a Turkish Restaurant with ample seating widely spread. My family and I occupied two different tables due to the Social Distancing measures in place. The Highlight of the restaurant is the Service which sets it apart from the rest. Many thanks to Mr. Shafiq and Team. Well done! The food was great and I must admit that it's better and good quality for your money compared to rest of the Arabic restaurant. The portion size for the Pide with Beef and Tomatoes were great.

The food here is really good. The meats are all tasty and juicy, and overall very enjoyable. I enjoyed every dish I ordered without exception, and it is fairly rare to find such a place. Service is also good and the staff are friendly. The only downside is that it is kind of expensive, but in my opinion the good food and service are worth it.

Great Turkish Food Celebrated mum's 60th jubilee here, and it was enjoyable. We had a reservation, it was a weekday. The restaurant wasn't full. Which is great. Not too crowded or busy. Loads of seating available. Food🏺🌯 Absolutely delicious as far as Turkish food goes. Portions were huge. Get their pepper and hummus dips. Delectable, comes with bread, if not, get some..it's worth it. Mains are decent. Huge portions, meat is grilled perfectly. Tender not dry. Drinks are nice, it complements the food well. Service & Atmosphere I gave it a 4 cos it seemed like we were being rushed. Not too much, but yeah. We came for dinner at 8pm, closing was at 10pm. Like I said, it wasnt busy.. it was not too bad. The interior looks great. Outdoor area has a great view of MBS and arts science museum. Good for photos. Overall, a nice night. Will come back.

Celebrated my birthday here with my hubby on 16 Nov 2023 and it was a pleasant dinner for us. We are satisfied with the ambience, food, drinks, service and the atmosphere. The staff are polite and helpful. We ordered the Mixed Jumbo Kebab Platter for us to share and followed by Kunefe with ice cream for dessert. They even sang birthday song to me when they presented the dessert with a candle on it. It is very nice and I appreciate their thoughtfulness. We are impressed with the jumbo platter as all the meat and veggies are well prepared, well marinated and well cooked. We finished everything off the plate. It is simply delicious. We also enjoyed the Turkish Tea and dessert. We will definitely return to try out other food from here again.

A long running Turkish food establishment in Singapore, aged tablewares, humble layout as if conveying the owners fond memories of this place. Food was humble with a homey feel. Flavours were not heavily spiced, original taste of ingredients still present through the dishes. It is my first time at a homey Turkish themed restaurant, highlights were kunefe cheese with ice cream and grape leaf rolls. Thank you for the wonderful experience. :)

An authentic and excellent restaurant serving Turkish cousins. Located at Shaw place (2nd floor) Beach Road. Prices are in medium range. Seating area is ordinary and staff are friendly and caring and the atmosphere is very relaxing. This restaurant is absolutely a good place to go to for Turkish food, lunch or dinner. Food is very delicious and tasty with good varieties, specially the mixed grills and tagen dishes. Salads and fresh breads were also awesome. Vegetarian options are also available.

Arguably the best Turkish food in Singapore. Can be a bit pricey, but portions can be shared. Lots of food items on the menu, which can get a bit daunting to choose from. We loved the freshly baked breads, roasted eggplant salad, and grilled meats. Dessert was good, but please share.

I have been in this restaurant’s old place before and had a good experience. However, unfortunately my recent experience in Sofra’s new place was very bad. Our starter dish was not delicious. We ordered two main courses, and they served them with 15 minutes time in between which was unpleasant. Chef’s table was not delicious at all (the only good thing was the size of its portion). The other course (Adana kebab) was better but far from a good Adana kebab. It does not value for money!

Not the same as it used to be. Their meat is really hard, both chicken and lamb. We could hardly chew it. All meat had some pungent smell, might be garlic or just they were of bad quality. Except for hummus and turkish, I can't recommend anything else.

My advice is to book a table at the office website. Never book through Chope. Restaurant did not receive my reservations but still managed to get me a window seat upon request. We ordered the Jumbo Kebab Combo, Food was tasty and the meat deliciously spiced. Portion for 2 seems more like a 3-4 person portion. Wished I brought more friends to share so that I can try other food. Turkish coffee was a little too sweet for me and came in Super tiny cup like an espresso. We ordered Stuffed Figs for dessert, which was too scrumptious I forgot to take a photo. Ambience was nice with Turkish music playing in the background.

Amazing serving of Turkish food! 2 star given as the ambience was not very welcoming, and staff were very poor at providing quality customer service. Ordering process was slow and staff did not take initiative to ask customer for their needs. We also had a baby who was feeling very uncomfortable. So we had too take time to calm the baby and therefore delayed our meals. Instead of asking if we would like our food to be re-heated, one of the male staff asked if we would like to have our food packed. We had no intention of leaving as we would like to eat in the restaurant. It was slightly insulting as we were struggling to calm the baby and a good customer service would have helped!

Delicious food, great ambience and amazing service, 10/10 would come again. Decided to try Turkish cuisine for the first time and had no regrets, would definitely recommend! A bit on the pricier side, got the jumbo platter and hummus as well as the bread (forgot the name) for about 100, for 3 people (i think enough for 4).

We were a big group of 13 and later reduced to 10 as some of them couldn’t make it last minute. Reservation was easy and convenient. We were given a room that we could have privacy and talked and laughed to our hearts’ content. Food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed the food and environment. There were vegetarian options other than non vegetarian. Is also halal so it is perfect for a large group with different dietary requirements. I would recommend my friends and colleagues to come here too.

If you follow my Google reviews, you'll know I'm very critical. Yet, this is a restaurant that I'm giving a full five-star rating. That is because it's really perfection! This was my third visit, and this time was with a group of friends. I was not kidding when I shared that I liked the food here more than what I had when I was in Istanbul! Was it because they catered well to the local Singaporeans? I'm unsure, but I really liked the Turkish food here! Most importantly, the service quality here had been great thus far! Please maintain!

Food: It's great. Really loved the taste. Quantity of the portion can be slight more but other than that everything was good. Especially hummus was fantastic. Really loved it. Ambience: Great place to hang out with friends, family & colleagues. Authentic Turkish vibe. Service: Absolutely fantastic. Service staff are friendly & knowledgeable. Everything was on time. Cost: Definitely on the expensive side. Overall wonderful experience. Sure will visit again.

Located at Shaw place (2nd floor) Beach Road. Good place to go to for Turkish food, lunch or dinner or a Sunday brunch ($14). Vegetarian options available. The place has plenty of parking. Food is good & reasonably priced. The window facing tables have a good view but in most cases need a reservation since they get occupied.

Located on Beach Road at Shaw Tower @ lvl2. Service is great. Staff is courteous & cheerful, always serves with a smile. We tried few dishes & all of them tasted good. There is some room for improvement as i have tried better Turkish food in Singapore. But its worth trying if you are keen to explore. Price wise this place is ok, as some of the similar Turkish joints are expensive. Sharing pictures for the menu to make life easier for gourmands like me. πŸ™‚πŸ™‚

Visited their new restaurant at Marina Square. Seems brighter but loses the ethnic appeal. The kitchen tiles added the much needed ethnic touch. Food wise, still the same quality but everything comes in either modern porcelain or cafe style wooden chopper block. Service is very slow despite 5 waiters. Had to wait 10 mins to be seated (with booking) as the waiters were doing their own thing and serving seated customers. Plan ahead and expect slight delays. Last order on a weekend is 7.25pm (tried to order a hot tea 1 minutes after 7.25pm and was politely rejected). Hot/cold water is an chargeable item.

Stumbled on to this place when we were looking for food around the area. The layout of the restaurant is in such a way you cant get to see the whole seating area- which is huge. So if the waiter asked if you have reservation, just relax it’s a standard question. Food is amazingly good and not too pricey. Everything was delicious. Waiters are friendly but slow. They forgot about our deserts and had to be reminded twice. The kebabs were simply deeelicious and quite authentic. We had the lamb and it was not pungent (as lambs usually are). The hummus was divine! Definitely recommended

Customer service was good. You have to be patient with them if you are coming in busy hours, it is highly recommended that you reserve a table and come EARLY if you want to have a good dine here. I also left my jacket there on the weekend and the staff actually kept it for me and I really appreciate that. If you’re a vegetarian this is a good option, also if you’re vegan they have a few salads and dishes.

Sofra is now situated at Marina Square shopping Centre Level 3. The interior design is Turkish and well designed. The ambiance is nice. The food is good. The Kunafe is delicious. The staffs are friendly but the place gets busy during weekends and the time taken to serve is long. It’s best to reserve before heading down.

First experience of Turkish food at Sofra. This place is also vegetarian and halal friendly. Particularly enjoyed the meat platter which consisted of lamb, beef and chicken on top grilled vegetables and spiced rice. Everything was nicely seasoned and tender. Vegetarian platter also contained an eggplant dish which I also particularly enjoyed. Only thing not so pleasant was the Turkish coffee. It’s pretty much a kopi-o equivalent but in an extremely small cup. What’s odd is they after sipping about half the cup, I notice there’s a lot of residual powder at the bottom which made the second half really hard to drink. Not sure if it’s meant to be that way.

I definitely judged this place by its cover. From the outside it seemed like a fabulous place for Turkish food but sadly it is a case of almost there but not. 1. I seriously think they need better staff or atleast train them. Getting a table was painfully slow... the restaurant was empty btw. 2. The food looked appetising but it was just Ok at best. For the price, I expected to be wowed or feel β€œdamn this good...” at the very least but it didn’t and it was just... ok. If you have tried the Turkish restaurants at Arab st, you will understand. The kunefe... the kunefe will disappoint you so bad that the next destination you will go to is Arab st to get your kunefe fix. 3. Oh, we got our drinks after all our food had been eaten. So yeah going back to point 1. All in all it’s an ok place to go. You will feel ok.

If you can, please avoid this Sofra restaurant. *Dishonest manager at the payment counter* My husband and I were initially headed to Red Pan, to celebrate our monthsary. But saw that they already closed when we reached at 7:30pm- due to covid. We were checking out what else to eat at Marina Square and chanced upon Sofra. Despite all the negative reviews about the bad attitude of the service staff and the front managers, we decided to give it a shot as options were limited. Food wise: Good. From the hummus, the kebabs, to even the deserts, and apple tea were good. The chefs have certainly done a good job. Give credit where credit’s due. You can see for yourself from the pictures. Service wise (wait staff): Decent. One of the wait staff came over to inform about the last order when it was 5 mins before 8:45pm (which was their last order supposedly) and also asked how our food was and if we enjoyed the food. Service (Payment): BAD The turning point was when we make payment at the counter. It was only after my husband paid that we realised we cld have used the eDeal in the Marina Square app to offset part of the amount. Note: this deal appears in the Marina Square app so long as you have the app. 1. The manager at the counter did not bother to ask if we had the Marina Square app so we cld utilise the deal. 2. After we made the payment, we realised we cld have utilised the deal in our app. We went to ask her if it cld be done. She bluntly rejected WITHOUT SPILT SECOND and said it couldn’t be done, and asked us to COME BACK THE NEXT DAY FOR ANOTHER MEAL if we want to use the deal with a very bad attitude and tone. 3. I was appalled. 4. Do you assume customers are stupid or ignorant? 5. We have been to many F&B places and we know how easily it cld be done. THIS MANAGER Is just plain lazy to want to do a refund and process the payment again with the utilised deal. 6. Furthermore, your restaurant is not absorbing the savings from customers. At the end of the day, your restaurant can claim back from Marina Square Management the number of deals utilised. 7. Your attitude and service is atrociously bad. All this while, the boss was sitting at the table in front of the counter. He was silent all along and sat through the whole encounter. 8. We were not even being demanding or unreasonable, but the lady couldn’t even be bothered to go an extra step for its customers. It says a lot, doesn’t it? 9. Sharing my experience here so you all do not go through what I went through. 10. From now TILL 31 Oct 2021, do use your app to check the deal and utilise it if you still want to come to this restaurant. Anyway, this will be my first and last time here. Like what many had said, there are indeed better Turkish food with much better service out there.

My wife and I went there on a weekend evening. We were wandering around in the nearly deserted marina Square during covid and were intruiged by this Turkish restaurant. Images of thick cubes of meat skewered with capsicums immediately came to mind. I tempered my expectations and went in. The hummus was really good. Only complain here is not enough bread to scoop up all of the delicious hummus. My wife says the service is so so. The ambience is good and cozy. Good suggestion for a date. The star of the show was the kebabs. It was as good as I thought they would be, being chicken breasts. Save for one portion of meat that was rather dry. My wife ordered an apple tea for me. She said I would like it. And I did! It was really sweet with an option to add an additional sugar cube. Little did we know this shop used to be at the Shaw towers! Would go back again to eat more kebabs

One of the best Turkish restaurants I've ever dined in while visiting Singapore 5 years ago. It was an auntie and an uncle (living there) who took my parents and me out to Sofra that night; we were fortunate enough to get a table right next to the window. The first time I've ever tried hummus with pita bread, which for me... shall forever be, an unforgettable experience because our Turkish Bazaar here in Dhaka, sadly don't have hummus and pita on their menu. The tomato rice which came with the kebab and the salad was also... delicious but what I'll never forget is, your signature Turkish style chocolate pudding topped with a large fluffy marshmallow and sprinkled around with ground pistachios. It was uncle who specially ordered the dessert for me and I'll forever be thankful to him for this golden opportunity. Finished the dinner with a tall glass of chilled, fresh orange juice which was, yet another bonus treat from uncle himself. Looking back 5 years later, I'm missing Sofra so much ! Still anticipating and waiting for the day when I'll ever fly back to Singapore and enjoy Turkish food at Sofra again.

The food is good but it is not as good as in Turkish itself. The best of it is the Baklava, it is not too sweet and it is crispy, and it is perfect with Turkish tea. The kebab grilled is great but the rice and garnish is not like in Turkey. The drink they got a lot of tea and also Ayran. The price is quite high but the service is great.

The restaurant has a nice view looking at esplanade. Service was a little bit slow but they do follow up your orders. Nice bread. Kebab is a little dry (except the chicken kebab). Recommend the pottery dish which is very fun to watch them serve. Kunefe with ice cream is a must ordered dessert πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ It’s recommend to make a reservation beforehand as it can get quite busy during weekends.

The meal on the whole is good.. but not great. Lack of some kind of aroma in the meat. Hummus and kunefe taste good. 2 of the dips probably the eggplant dip and red pepper dip are too salty. The eggplant kebab is the best out of the 4 dishes ordered.

Visited the restaurant during dinner hours on a weekday. When we went, the restaurant was really crowded so I think it may be full. I think making a reservation may be recommended. The service by the staff is great. We ordered sharing dishes and the food items taste great. This is definitely a place to try out if you are a fan of cheese. Overall, the dining experience is great as the ambience is quite nice. This is a good place for a meal with friends.

A bit late.. on 9 Nov, we had a great Girls Day out starting with a beautiful array of your delicious dishes. We over-ordered as we just love the awesome plating of the dishes! We thoroughly enjoyed all the food and dessert. We will definitely come again with our families the next time. Thanks for the marvellicious memories!!

Had dinner with my wife and baby, and happy to share that the restaurant is very family-friendly. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. It’s a popular place for parties as we heard the staff sing the birthday song 4 times in 2 hours. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere and would definitely come back again. Love the variety found on the salad and chef plates. We ate so much that we didn’t have room for dessert.

The food was good but compared to the other place I frequent for Turkish food, this one is less tasty and a little drier for the meats. When I was there, there was a company function with close to 50 people. Plus, other guests at the restaurant, it was just too noisy. The place is spacious and the staff are friendly. Just too many echos. Overall still nice. But do note that the item code on the printed menu is slightly different from their e-menu which you'll need to use to order. So do double check.

The service was warm and nice, coming from all the servers. The place was beautiful, we were sat at a good spot perhaps because we had a reservation. The food portion was huge, so we ended taking away the unfinished meal.

My partner and I had a wonderful anniversary lunch at Sofra Turkish restaurant. We were impressed by the authentic and delicious Turkish food, the friendly and attentive service, and the cozy and relaxing ambience. We ordered the mix platter salad, the chicken Adana kebab, the baklava, and the Turkish coffee, and we enjoyed every bite and sip. The salad was fresh and flavorful, the kebab was tender and juicy, the baklava was sweet and crunchy, and the coffee was strong and aromatic. The portions were generous and satisfying. The staff were very kind and helpful, and they even gave us an extra dessert to celebrate our special occasion. We felt very welcomed and appreciated. The restaurant has a nice view of the CBD and esplanade, which added to the romantic atmosphere. We had a great time at Sofra Turkish restaurant, and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves Turkish cuisine. It is one of the best Turkish restaurants we have ever been to.

First time at the new location since Shaw many years ago. The standard of the food is still top quality, I think you can skip the desserts though. Good place for big group gathering and plenty of sharing platters to try out the different dishes. Love the breads.

We had a great dinner at Sofra restaurant. Ambiance was nice and staff were welcoming and friendly. They have inside and outside seating. Prefer outside during not so hot days. It has a nice view at night overlooking MBS. Food is clean and tasty. Has a lot of variety as well. Worth the spend.

Amazing food. Would recommend! Good options but most of it are variation of similar items. Service is friendly and prompt. Prices are slightly above average but portions are good for sharing, so its good for groups. Great outdoor views (minus the heat). Would be good if there are those mist-fans or coolers outdoor.

One thing I must say, is that their service is really good, there was a nice gentleman who really took good care of us, special thanks to him, on the other hand, I was expecting more about the food, the food was regular and not extraordinary unfortunately. β€’ The ambiance was nice. β€’The restaurant was crowded. β€’ A nice view outside of the restaurant.

A nice Halal Turkish restaurant. Love the rich flavours of the seasoning in the meatballs. The chocolate pudding dessert was satisfying and not overly sweet. You can see into the glass-windowed kitchen, where a slab of kebab is roasting in full glory for the cooks to shave. There's a small corner selling various food and beverages from Turkey as well, which is pretty interesting to browse!

Had Hummus, Turkish bread, Kunafe and Turkish tea. Really liked the hummus and the Turkish bread. Sheesh kebab was ok, it had tomato, salad and rice along with it. Turkish tea tasted like normal black tea served on a small glass cup. Restaurant was spacious and had good views on the sides. The staff was nice, one of the staff helped us get the corner seat with the view.

Had a real disappointing experience lately. I had made an on line booking for lunch for the family. Even recieved replyvthat booking had been recieved. When we went on the date booked, one of the staff (who I supposed is the manager) checked the booking book and said that the restaurant did bot recieve my booking! I even showed her my email to show my booking had been replied but I was told the restaurant did not recieve it at all!! Was told that I should have made a booking via Whatsapp and to do that in future. I had send a mail to feedback but have yet to recieve a reply. This was more rhan a week ago. Would have rated zero star for my experience but Google only allows a minimum of one star. Very very disappointed. I won't be booking or dining there again for sure.

I'm very disappointed. Don't waste time if you want good Turkish food go to Arab Street it is way better. Here their food doesn't taste at all their kunefe was served very badly they just dump the ice cream, there was no presentation as if they care less what they served to us. the only thing that is good about them is their social media that is all.

After a long wait, I was excited to try the new Sofra and I must say I was quite disappointed... Service is a bit slow, took a while to take our order. And I feel like the food quality has decreased - both the Adana and mixed salad platter were missing some seasoning (compared to before). Used to live the Adana from Sofra, now it's just ok. Sesame bread is still amazing though! Hope that it will get better cause I really enjoyed the old Sofra!

Nice view at the centre of the City overlooking Esplanade. Food is average. Btw avoid ordering Turkish coffee, it's way overpriced Kopi O for such a small cup. Please note they don't serve plain water, you can purchase only imported Turkish plastic water bottles.

Really loved it here! The interior of this outlet is more charming than the previous venue. Love the food here. Everything we ordered (which was a lot!) was delicious. My favourite would be the cheese stuffed chicken. Super yum. The only downside is that the staff couldn't quite keep up with the service. It was hard to get our orders in. The dishes came at strange intervals, with some items taking forever. We ended up cancelling an order for a tea because we finished eating everything else on the table but the tea still hadn't arrived. Thankfully the overall experience was pleasant enough to forgive the small hiccup. Am hopeful that the service gets more systematic over time. Will definitely be back next time.

Service was good and so was the food presentation. However food taste was average and bit disappointing. Both chicken and lamb dishes fell short on flavour and i think it was due the meat quality used in both the dishes.

This is my first time trying Turkish food, and thanks to Sofra I'm in love with it. Apart from the great views, bright and elegant indoor seating and friendly service staff, the food is just so delicious. I can taste a lot of spices from their salads, meat and even the bread, and surprisingly it doesn't make me feel heavy at all after eating so much. Love the Lamachun especially, a Turkish style pizza, so thin and crispy with full of meat toppings, makes me want to eat more and more.

Sofra is the place to be for those who seek for an authentic Turkish flair to fill their tummies. Menu is wide-ranging with Turkish flags to indicate the origin of the served dishes. Their interior design and concept is simply Turkish as well which kinds of bring guests on a time travel to Turkey despite being stucked due to COVID-19. Because of the large portions of food served, second servings of drinks is encouraged especially when you have a huge appetite for the best munches. Cheerio!

This was our first time in Sofra since the relocation was done. The food was nice as always but the organization of the restaurant was much more chaotic!! It was a mess to be seated. We had a booking at 19.15 and we had to wait in a sort of queue where people was intermingled and even skipping the line. The poor woman in charge was clearly overwhelmed by the massive flow of people coming for take aways, reservation and walk ins. We had to remind her we were still waiting after 20 minutes. Too difficult to handle. In the same way, the dining room is clearly under staffed. We had the drinks and the cutlery after all the dishes were served, and because we asked for it. Same way, now the water was charged. Prices were increased some dollars. I think the change has not been so positive in some ways, I will go back for the food but my experience was better in the previous location.

Food is pretty ok, we both don’t take lamb else the Adana (G01) kebab might taste better, Chicken one so so only. Order the Iskender Kebab(D01) as recommended by the waiter and the portion was so big! It’s delish~~ definitely ordering it again if I go back. Red lentil soup and salad plate is ok. Not really impressed with the bread that came along with the salad plate, but it did came to us warm. maybe if we order an individual seseame bread was will be better but the portion was already too big for 2 of us.

It has been aeons since my last visit and my most recent one was a pleasant one. We went for a ph lunch and they have relocated to Marina Square now. Place was spacious and modern, decorated with traditional/ethnic metalware. Service crews were friendly and accommodating. We didn't get to try some popular dishes as it was a holiday but most kebabs were available. The menu seems to have been streamlined, I reckon they had more in the past. Food quality was good and portion was generous, taste was good. Halal friendly. Recommended if you are looking for authentic mid-east/mediterranean taste.

Liked it better when they were at Shaw Towers where it was less upscale and pretentious. The food was pretty good but it’s very heavily spiced and the shish kebabs were heavily salted. Wouldn’t recommend this place to people who have a simpler palette as the food is very rich. Kunefa was a huge disappointment as the ice-cream didn’t stand out and the base was pretty underwhelming. Saving grace was perhaps the dips which I enjoyed immensely, loved the hummus and eggplant dip the most!

My 1st time here after they moved to Marina Square. They have a bigger space now to cater to more diners (still, reservation advisable). Nice view with great atmosphere. Service staff was friendly and attentive. Waiting time for food is less than 20 minutes. Went on a Friday night. Crowded as usual. Did not wait too long past my reservation timing. The menu now has English description with pictures. Really helps a lot in ordering when you're new in this cuisine. The menu now is more compact. Ordered a beef shish kebab, hummus, chicken beyti kebab, yapruk tavuk, and 2 diamond baklava. It was definitely more than enough for 2 pax. Would recommend to order 1 main per pax or a platter to share. There are no doubts about the quality of food. Everything tasted fantastic. The beef kebab was juicy and tender. Bulgar rice was flavorful and went well with fresh herbs and aromatics. Every dish was well executed. The hummus, in combination with tahini, was an explosion of flavours in the mouth. So nutty and creamy! The baklava is the best I've tasted locally. The pastry was thinner than paper and so well baked. Heavenly together with the generous portion of roasted pistachio. It's definitely a must try! Would recommend getting it with ice cream. It was a pleasant experience, and I will definitely be back.

Made reservations at Sofra for a team dinner. The staff contacted to ask if it was for a company dinner and upon confirmation, arranged for a private room for us (without us even requesting for it). Highly recommend the Salad Plate (babaganoush and the the red dip were delicious!), Chef’s Plate and diamond baklava. All the lambs and chickens which came with the Chef’s Plate was fantastic. Diamond baklava was divine. Must add on their vanilla ice cream which had a very intriguing chewy bite to it. Only gripe was that we felt that the Sofra Salad was underseasoned during our visit. Portions are big too.

Alittle expensive but really, you are paying for the service, delicious authentic Turkish food, and ambience. Gorgeous view outside. The restaurant is huge, with ample walking area. I love the huge tables, very suitable for big groups/families, you can even reserve a corner area for privacy. There is a private room but I think there is a minimum spending for this room. I had the Kunefe and icecream and they were not as sweet as those served in other places. Suitable for non-sweet toothed people. https://sofra.sg/ There is a playarea outside the restaurant, with kiddy rides, to keep the little ones entertained while waiting for food to be served.

Very beautifully decorated place. Nice view if you are seated near the window. Food was served up very fast and it was very delicious! Lots of variety of food. It would be nicer if lights were little dimmer. πŸ˜€

Food was good (though lamb kebab was a bit dry), ambience was nice. The restaurant itself is in the mall and not on the roof garden (which is also on the third floor). Clearly a popular spot, so reservations are recommended especially for bigger groups.

We celebrated a birthday on a Saturday. The service rendered to us was superb. Both the staff who attended to our table of 5 were courteous, polite, friendly and especially helpful. A handsome young waiter came along with a pizza cutter when he noticed I was contemplating to tear the huge bread with my bare hands for sharing. I really appreciated it. Sofra has always been our go-to place as we like the ambience and the food served is simply amazing!
