Food is very nice but service or lack thereof let the whole experience down. The views are great too. Took 15 minutes to get to the restaurant due to works. For dinner have to go to level 38. Then knock on the glass door for the security to let you in to get to the other lifts that take you to level 60. This took 3 tries (including going back down twice) as no one there to hear our knocking. Got to restaurant and no one there to greet so walked in and went to a table ourselves and on way to table was approached by staff. Then asked what we like to order and we told them we already completed this online. Another staff came and they had our booking. Anyway, the food and view is good but that's about it.

Some really yummy food and drinks here … Nutmeg and Clove provide awesome cocktails to a great dinner. The green beans are yummy, as is the fried rice. Nice steak stir fry, and the noodles (Dan Dan) were wonderful. Loved my year of the tiger dessert! Roar!!!

Food is good, ambiance is great, staff are helpful and efficient even though they are terribly busy, really worth the price too. We tried their Mapou Tofu which is really flavourful, the other dishes are all quite good too. Their beancurd at the end of the meal was pretty nice to balance off the spicy mains. Take note to inform the serving staff of your spicy tolerance. Special requests: If you want to get a table by the window, try booking from their official website rather than one of the partner app sites and mention your request via comments/ special requests. Navigation: The restaurant is really high up the UOB tower: Go into tower 1 side via main entrance, turn left and take escalator up to L2, where you will be at a tap card gantry zone in front of some elevators. Tell the guard you are going to restaurant, and he will allow you in. Take first set of lifts to L38, alight, then transfer to another set of lifts that will take you up to L60. Note to take the correct set of lifts on the second round as some lifts do not go up to L60.

Situated on the 60th floor of the UOB building, this well-known Chinese restaurant offers an awe-inspiring panoramic view that beautifully captures the essence of the city skyline. Although the ambiance and decor contribute to its allure, the dining experience fails to meet expectations, particularly considering the high cost. Unfortunately, the overall dining atmosphere resembled that of a Zhi Char establishment in a hawker center, lacking the refinement one would expect from a top-tier venue. The letdown extends beyond the food, with the service from the staff leaving much to be desired. Notably, their attention appeared skewed towards patrons in the VIP room who were foreigners, neglecting the needs of other diners. An incident worth mentioning involved a spillage on our table, highlighting a glaring lack of professionalism. The staff member assigned to address the situation displayed a dismissive attitude, casually tossing a cloth our way with apparent disdain. The audible displeasure expressed during the cleanup process only added to the overall unpleasant encounter. Such behavior significantly marred the dining experience, creating a lasting impression that discourages any future visits. Despite these shortcomings, the establishment manages to salvage some appeal through its remarkable view and tasteful decor, earning it a modest two-star rating. However, for those seeking a truly refined dining experience, this may not be the preferred venue.

Most of the dishes were good as usual. Notably the smoked pork ribs, super tender but could be less sweet. However, the service has deteriorated badly over the years. While the lady who took care of us was friendly and joked with us a little, all the other service staff were just either clueless or unhappy to serve us. We asked for takeaway at the end of the meal, the waitress took the empty tray she had on hand and threw it on the working counter. No excuses for the level of service for an establishment of such a high price point.

I am a returning customer to this restaurant as I appreciate the ambience, accessibility and the view. Service might be a bit slow when crowded. They have this master that pours hot water to refill tea with a teapot n long spout. Therefore it's a treat to have him to perform for you. The food is on point and price is reasonable.

Been here multiple times and will definitely be coming back many more times. Tasty, simple, affordable food (after CC discount) with great service. My go to place for spicy chicken and knife cut noodles. Simple steam cod fish with soy sauce is nice too. Highly recommended to try!

Food is great, taste and presentation cannot be faulted, you can see from the pictures. Taste for the Si Chuan dishes are on point and delicious, savory yet not overdone. The view is excellent, can see the Padang, Esplanade, MBS areas and cityscape from the corner rooms. Expect this to be fully booked for NDP and F1 days. Only negative is the service. We had a dispute over service of a lobster dish, somehow the restaurants served both tables amount into one large plate instead of 2 separate tables like all the other dishes we ordered. The waiter did not apologize, only told us that we should have counted the chopped up lobster parts ourselves to know the difference. What? Disappointing black mark on an otherwise enjoyable evening... Only upon raising this to the management did they give us a small discount. For the price we are paying at this place, I am expecting impeccable service. The tea service also slowed down considerably after the initial long neck teapot performances and we had to keep prompting.

Food was good. View was superb. UOB 1 for 1 Mid Autumn Imperial High Tea was really a good deal. The presentation would have looked much better if they had been more generous instead of giving us half a piece of mini mooncake at the end though. We didn't get a window seat but great that the crowd cleared by 4.30pm on Sunday and we could roam around taking photos at the windows :) Overall great experience!

Lunch with a panoramic view. Came here for a wedding lunch and totally enjoyed the food. It was a bit tricky to reach level 60 as you need to change lift at level 38. Not an ideal venue for wedding or any event that require you to book the entire venue as the layout is a L shape and the TV screen is rather small. However the food and service made up for the lack.

Great Chinese restaurant. I was afraid that the food would be too spicy but it was fine! They have vegetarian options. The cocktails are from nutmeg & clove and they're great. The views from the bar are very good! (See photos)

Attended a wedding dinner. Ambient is nice and service is good. But for the price Vs quality of food, it's not worth it. Taste average especially the chicken. Only the cod fish taste just nice.

Had a corporate farewell dinner last week at the private dining room, which required minimum spending of $1k. One of my guests found a larvae in her peanut appetizer side dish (see photo). This was followed by a dismal attempt from staff at service recovery. Waitress did not apologize. She simply removed our individual side dishes and replaced with shared plates (instead of the original individual plates). Poor staff service continued throughout the dinner. Tea refills were not prompt. Had to hunt the waitress down personally around the restaurant to make changes to the pre-ordered items. She always seemed to be in a hurry and replied in an impatient tone. Rest of the food was good and thankfully larvae-free. At such a high price point with such an experience, I would be very hesitant to return again. Also, I've sent my feedback through the restaurant's feedback portal but was only replied with acknowledgement slip.

Lovely restaurant at the top of UOB Plaza. Ambience and service is great, but some hit and misses with the food. Highly recommend the passionfruit crispy prawn, garlic beef cubes, pu-er crispy chicken. Ordered their signature mapo tofu, taste is good but a tad too salty. Would suggest to ask for less salt (not sure if it’s possible) in future. Hot and sour soup was also on the salty side, not recommended. The truffle beef bowl was also disappointing, the beef was chewy and not tender and we couldn’t really taste the truffle. Dong-po was also a miss for us, too sweet.

Sichuan Dou Hua @ UOB Top holds a very special place in our hearts. We had my wedding ceremony and banquet here 16 days ago this day and many other milestones in our lives. We hold firmly of very fond memories of our wedding dinner and the yearly anniversary dinners, and today our 10 year old is here celebrating with us. During covid, we continued the tradition by ordering their special delivery menu. Today however, we are heartbroken the signature dishes has deteriorated beyond belief with exception of the templated cold dishes. Our top favourite of all time, the spicy fried chicken 辣子鸡丁cubes did not contain much chicken but more spicy flour puffs and the once special aroma is missing. Those who have dined here long enough will know. Next, the signature fine beans 干煸四季豆 were an absolute disappointment. It first came out soggy and excessively salty, we requested for the dish to be sent back to the kitchen and it came back again, overcooked and like ton of salt dumped. We had no choice but to cancel this dish despite the front of house’s best efforts but we think it’s probably a kitchen issue. It’s really disappointing but frankly we felt the recook was not done with effort. We know this as we have close friends who are working at chef de cuisines at top rated restaurants. We would like to think this is an isolated incident but seems the recent reviews indicates further issues within the kitchen especially the sichuan dishes. As long time patrons, we love the SCDH brand and really hope the brand sustains, innovate and flourish. Worth mentioning: Full marks for the front of house staff as always. Never easy managing expectations of kitchen and front.

Fantastic Chinese cuisine with a spectacular view (only for certain private rooms and corner tables). Variety and creativity in the dishes are definitely commendable. Love the Si Chuan Mapo Tofu and Fried Prawn with Passionfruit dressing - probably one of the best i have tasted in Singapore! Service is professional and efficient, despite some challenges in availing the waiter’s attention sometimes. Overall environment is quiet and much frequented for business lunches and corporate functions. They do have dim sum set lunches as well. Will definitely be back. Quite a while to get to the too but all worth the effort after all.

Booked a private room since Sep for a family dinner and had been receiving responsive and helpful service from Alden! He had went the extra miles to accommodate my long list of requests and changes multiple times! Big thank you and needless to say all the dishes lived up to expectation! Ordered the six course seafood set the November set menu

Best to know what you want to eat and reserve in advance, also come with large group. Personally feels like they only interested in doing private room businesses. Small group better not waste your time & money. A few people were unhappy about it too. Went there at 7pm, a lot of foods no longer available. Disappointed at it. Lack of people service, always can’t get their attention and food seems to be dropping whenever the food server bringing the food. Yet, got drilling work above during dinner time.

I had a fantastic experience thanks to April's exceptional service. Her attentiveness to customers' needs was remarkable, and she willingly went the extra mile without being prompted. The speed of service was impressive, making the overall dining experience top-notch. Highly recommend!

Delicious Sze chuan cuisine with a nice view of the city hall area, atop 60 floors of UOB plaza. When making reservation, they will hold $60 on your credit card in case of no shows. So far we tried the soup, kurobuta vinegar sauce pork, tofu with veg, eefu noodles, dongpo meat, mango pudding and hashima soup on two different occasions. Nice display of the guy pouring tea using the long teapot. Food is delicious no doubt, but service can be better. They took a long time to serve even though the dish came out of the kitchen. And also the desert took quite long so the table beside ours actually cancelled it as they were in a hurry.

My first experience here for Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner wasn’t great. So I wasn’t expecting much from the high tea spread. But wow, the quality of the dim sum left me wanting more than a single serving! Especially the shrimp dumplings, the table agreed. I like it that they served a variety of Chinese tea for their high tea. Strongly recommend the 滇红 (Dian Hong). Again, the table agreed.

This is an exquisite Sichuan restaurant which serves authentic Sichuan cuisine exactly the same as in China 🇨🇳. The dishes are all quite amazing and ambience and views are excellent. We recommend the Pork rib and asparagus lettuce (窩筍). Getting up to this restaurant is tricky. You need to press a lift which starts at level 2 of UOB building but stops at level 38. You need to press a touch screen to get an alphabet indicating the lift available. At level 38, you have to walk to an adjacent lift lobby (not the same one you came) and show your face on screen. Even if screen says “denied”, never mind, just go inside the lift with alphabet indicated and it will take you to level 60. Make sure the indicator light shows level 60 before you enter. Have fun.

Back to this established Chinese restaurant to celebrate mum’s birthday. Some hits and misses in the food we ordered this time. We enjoyed the flavourful chongqing grilled chicken (cold dish) that opens up our appetite. The braised pork belly came with tender melt-in-your-mouth meat. While we expected more from the food, the staff and service made up for it. The friendly experienced staff Ayden ensured that we had a good time. The fancy tea pouring is also quite a sight to behold. Will probably be back for another celebration, but will try other dishes. ❗️While it sits high at the 60th floor of UOB plaza, there aren’t much views at night compared to many other sky high restaurants. ❗️ Reserve the peking duck in advance, to avoid it being sold out (esp for later dinner sittings)

Overall Rating: 1.25/5 Food: 2/5 - Average; Dim sum lacked any chef skills and left much to be desired. The cocktail was the worst I've ever had. Atmosphere: 3/5 - The view was limited as there were no floor-to-ceiling windows. Service: 0/5 - There was no service to speak of. The crew was busy playing on their own phones. Despite requesting a window table, it was rejected, with the reason given that they had already set up for the next round of diners. It seemed like they were just being lazy. Price: 0/5 - The price was exorbitant, with over $130+ charged for less than 10 pieces of dim sum. There are much better restaurants nearby with superior views at more reasonable prices. In summary, this dining experience was disappointing. The food lacked quality and creativity, the service was nonexistent, and the price was unjustifiably high. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

Food was great but this restaurant was inconvenient to get to. You have to get to tower 1, take escalator to level 2, take lift to level 38, ask guard to let you pass two gates, and then take lift to level 60. Staff were accommodating but service level was a bit too casual - maciam like in zi char stall. Ambience was ok but nothing to shout about. Limited tables have window view. Do note that there are charges for a small plate of appetiser and chilli sauce ($1.50) and tea ($5) per person. UOB cards enjoy 15% discount including for alcohol.

The food was delish! Kudos to the chefs. The views were spectacular as well. The only letdown was the service. I had to prompt them for service such as topping up the tea all the time. They seemed very reluctant to serve as well. This is the problem I have seemed throughout the reviews here. It seems like the restaurant is not doing anything to improve it. If you don't mind the lack of service/no service and care more about the quality of the food. Highly recommend to come here!

went for the high tea and it was actually pretty good. There were some fusion in the dishes but they turn out pretty good. Ambience was nice , actually too quiet. Some music in the deafening quietness would have been great. Staff were friendly and welcoming. View feels like you are in hongkong . Definitely a place to visit again.

The service staff were warm had made us & our guests feel welcome although they individually were busy. We first time tried the puffer fish set, & I wondered fugu hardened after cooked or this is just the fugu texture? Flavour were strong & tasty

Food was alright. Had a not so pleasant experience with the service though. Asked if the combination platter had mayonnaise in it but was repeatedly told the items are totally randomised, they won't know what the chef was going to put on it. Least they could do was to inform the chef not to serve any without item without mayonnaise? Went to Chuan Bar after dinner. The service and drinks turned out impeccable!

Overall great experience. Delicious and fragrant dishes, esthetically pleasant, absolutely gorgeous room design. Only minus was the waitress who was unable to use a cork opener to open the wine. We had to open it for her.

Delicious food. Dishes are all very nicely done, good quality ingredients and taste. Nice cocktails also. Spectacular view and attentive service. Except for the crying kid at the table besides us. I guess can’t blame the resto for that, just blame the parents.
