👍 Brought my friend there to makan for her bday! The dinner set is worth the price. i ordered the crab pasta taste was soso, the calamari was quite blend. Dessert was better than the main courses. Ambiance was okay. People often mention good, pasta, price, taste, mushroom, soup, recommend, sauce, Italian, affordable,

one of my go-to spots for affordable yet good quality pasta! appreciate that the waiters are always friendly and helpful, and the food is served quickly as well. highly recommend the manzo(pasta with beef and truffle cream sauce) and the tiramisu!

On my way back home on the bus I had noticed this quaint place a few times. It's always full, so decided to try this one day. It was packed and they don't take orders once full. I did not have to wait long thankfully. The menu choices were good. The prices very affordable. Ordered quite a few and they all hot the mark. Tiramisu was lovely! The house pour white I would not recommend though

Very overrated…. The carbonara portion was small. And the calamari was soggy. Check out the pic and you can see the batter is not even well coated. I had higher expectations before walking into PocoLoco.

Oh wow delicious pasta and Italian food at affordable prices! Food was served very fast too! Highly recommend the beef truffle pasta and beef lasagne. Their tiramisu also had a super strong alcohol /coffee taste, good for those who like stronger alcohol taste. Will come back again! Do take note they charge 2 for bottled water.

Cozy place. Reasonable price pasta. Could be hard to find car park. Tasty pasta. Still prefer the now-closed branch at Snow City, which was much larger and had own brewery.

Been seeing this place and the crowds that gather around it, so decided to give it a try. The reviews do appear mostly positive. Wanted to try the homemade pasta, but was told it will be replaced by commercial pasta. A disappointment, except that the lamb chop was really meaty, lean and well cooked. The food, was generally acceptable, especially for the price charged. The desserts were good enough. Prices are nett, with no additional charges!

Came here for a late lunch with my kid around 130pm on a Tuesday and it was almost empty. Service was unobtrusive but prompt. Had the pesto with added chicken (extra $4) and the carbonara. Both were quite good, but not the best I've had. Decent for the price. The place is quite chill with not many seats. I didn't see any high chairs around. They don't serve water which is disappointing though. Streetside parking is free but limited as its almost always full.

They serve a good variety of pastas here, showing their specialization. Got the lamb cannelloni and granchio tagliatelle which were amazing in their own way although as a bigger guy I feel their portions are on the smaller side. The lamb rack looks small but overall still an ok plate.

Generally the food is fresh and not too bad. We had mushroom soup, calamari, spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti arrabbiata, spaghetti vongole, Panna Cotta and chocolate flourless cake. The first 2 items and the last are worth trying. Could give the calamari a miss though. The restaurant is within 5mins walking distance from tel station exit 4.

Had 1 set lunch with the Mushroom soup, serving for soup was a bit disappointing for set lunch. Not sure if the serving ala carte order would be the same or not. As for the taste, not much of surprise in any way. The Arrabiata pasta (not fresh pasta) didn't gave the woah effect in any way as well. Saving grace was the fresh prawns. My wife tried the Gnocchi with gorgonzola. Pasta (fresh) texture wasn't good, sauce not really to our likely. Another disappointment is the dessert from the set lunch, which we had ordered the flourless Chocolate cake. Look at the picture and you will understand. Taste, so-so, maybe due to the presentation. Lastly is the Tiramisu, saving grace to not get below 3 stars. Overall, not a place which we would be considering to go again.

Food was pretty nice and does taste like Italian comfort food (which was a bit bland after a while). But otherwise a great place especially considering the price. They also don't charge GST and service charge.

will recommend coming during non-peak hours as the mains were 30% off. really liked the pork and the tiramisu was light, but the lady finger can be soaked a bit longer to soften and have more taste.

Good quality food, fresh and well prepared. Very affordable, good value value money. Their price point is lower than other similar restaurants. The downside is the restaurant looks like a food court.

Specialty Italian cuisine. Pretty empty when we first entered but become quite crowded after a while. Air condition not working. Scallops is 14.90++ but pretty small size. Ordered the manzo pasta and a risotto. Both are pretty good. The ice mocha is sweet af and no coffee taste.

I used to visit this branch when it first started out at Science Centre a few years back. I was quite sad when they relocated. After finally getting a chance to give it a try again, I think the taste managed to stay consistently good. I ordered the manzo (truffle and creamy with beef) while my partner ordered the granchio (tomato base with crabmeat). Both were enjoyable and the dishes were served very quickly. The server was attentive and the place quickly filled up after I entered at around 6pm.

This is my 5th visit to Poco Loco. Each visit I am always bowled over by the great food . This is a hidden gem at Upper Thomson. I have eaten at many Italian restaurants, I have to say the pasta here are extremely good, full of flavour and really satisfying . Not sure where did the chef previously came from but I dare say it is even as good as some of higher class restaurants like Etna. Highly recommend.

Value for money! We tried PocoLoco for the first time and we really enjoyed our meal. We ordered 1 dinner set ($45), which consisted of an appetiser, 1 pasta dish, 1 main course and 1 dessert, there’s an option to order a glass of wine for $8. We ordered an extra pasta dish with lamb as well. Portion was good (not too small/big) and our favourite was the pork collar main course (part of the dinner set). Price was nett and drinks were reasonably priced as well ($2 for jasmine green tea and other soft drinks). Overall it was enjoyable and value for money.

When price and portion is reasonably met, this is the place you gotta visit. Pocoloco is an affordable authentic italian food to go place. I am not sure how authentic italian food is suppose to be but the food that pocoloco offers does not disappoint. The only item on the menu I felt was overprice is the duck liver aka Foie Gras. The portion is smaller than what it looks on the menu. However, the taste is good with the balsamic vinegar so no complain. Oh and do order the tiramisu, its very good. Overall, will come back again for their pasta.

Ordered the lamb ragu fettuccine and pescatora (seafood with light tomato sauce. Love the pasta dishes here. Good taste at a good price. They didnt overload too much pasta sauce into the pasta, so it toasted well balanced in flavour and texture.

Good place for pastas and risotto, enjoyed the cold capellini with uni and scallops. Portion sizes are decent, and service is fast. The mushroom soup is rich and fragrant too

We appreciate the restaurant motto of offering "affordable Italian Food". The best dishes, in our option, were the lasagna and the tiramisu. 4/5 just because I will never give 5 stars to restaurants that charge for water.

Went here for an early dinner yesterday. For starters we had the calamari which was good. We also had the mushroom soup as well which was a little too watery. the pasta was good too but the risotto could be cooked a little longer. As for dessert, we got the matcha lava cake & it was super super good !! Overall, enjoyed the food here !!

Place was spacious, menu was extensive, waiting times were short and the food was incredible! I had 2 pastas, the mushroom soup and hazelnut gelato, which only cost me $25 per pax ($50+). For the quality and price, this place is very worth every penny. I would recommend everything I ate, but the mushroom soup really hits different. Will definitely be coming back here regularly. Edit: Been going there once a month. Tried something new each time and all the food are great. Mentaiko pasta definitely one to try! Sides and desserts are also worth a try.

A nice cosy restaurant with a good variety of Italian food along Thomson Road. Like the Cheese Platter, Fegato D'Oca Appetizer, Roasted Pork Rack, and Granchio Pasta.

Really can taste that the pastas are made fresh. Staff is nice but I would recommend reserving a space before coming here. Came here and it takes a while for the queue to move. Very affordable pasta and drinks, suitable to have a date here. I had the vongole, even though it is not mindblowing I really enjoyed the pasta itself.

Affordable food being served at NETT price. Handmade pasta was very delicious. Strongly recommend the Beef Lasagna.

pastas were al dente and sauces pairs well too. lamb was cooked to a perfect medium, and the red wine sauce elevates it so well! quality and quantity was well worth the price paid.

Back again after a few years (since pre covid) and the quality of the food is still good! We had a dinner set menu for two ($45) and I chose Shallots Pork Chop, Truffle Beef Fettuccine, Butter Prawns and Tiramisu and all of them exceeded my expectations. Shout-out for the pork chops are really tender and juicy and the fats rendered well with a good exterior crust. The staff are helpful, and a huge plus is that there's no GST and service charge. Highly recommended and would definitely return again

We had the lunch set for 2 people. Starting at $20 per pax, it comes with a starter, a main and a dessert. We tried the mushroom soup, the spaghetti arrabiata, the spaghetti carbonara, the Panna cotta and the flour less chocolate cake. The mushroom soup was grainy with a good mushroom flavour. We felt that the seasoning however, was lacking. The Carbonara was creamy, noodles were cooked al dente. But the sauce felt like it was lacking in seasoning as well. The Arrabiata pasta was good, it was mildly spicy. The sauce was flavourful, the needles were done well and the prawns were very fresh. The Panna Cotta was creamy though there was very little sauce on top and the entire Panna Cotta became very monotonous. The flour less chocolate cake was small but extremely sweet, it was like a fudge cake in a brownie, very good. Overall, at it's price, it was very good, definitely would go again

Affordable prices with acceptable food. No complains there as the food are tasty. Atmosphere not so spectacular as it looks like a simple cafe. Tried the Restaurant Week for $38 with $7 supplement of Lamb Shank is worth it
