One of the few joints where a walk-in table was available on a Sunday PM At Dempsey Hills . In fact the outdoors was mostly unoccupied and only a few customers noted in the well decorated indoors .The place has large seating area both outdoors and indoors ! The waiters were nice but looked unhappy ! The interiors were well decorated but a bit dark and could have done with some music . The food noted organic , but tasted fairly average for the price ! Tried the Mediterranean Salad with Tuna - an overdose of butter lettuce and olive oil . The La Forketta sourdough pizza with meat (large) was also nothing special for the price (or May be you need to trim your expectations) . Overall food is average and expensive . The coffee was good , tried the espresso shake and cold Latte . Tap water is a $ / glass, surprisingly passed on as lemon water in the bill - which it was not ! Probably explains why the place was devoid of crowd at peak hours ! This place could have leveraged its strategic location and posh set up to run a houseful all the time by taking off the water cheap trick and focusing more on food presentation and taste ! It’s also possible that when the owner calculated the bottom line either way it doesn’t make much difference for them ! But in the long run to remain sustainable , it will , as not many will be returning customers unless they don’t get a walk in table at other joints in the vicinity! Just a suggestive wake up call !

My family first ate at La Forketta when it was a small restaurant located in the Pasir Panjang area. I had lunch today at the Dempsey outlet. Nice ambience. Good food. Excellent service. No problem with parking today. Not many people around. Probably because of the heavy rain.

Ordered: - salame (circular) and calzone classico (the non-circular pizza) and I preferred the non circular ones as the fillings are more concentrated in the Center, thus having more layers when you bite it as compared to the circular ones. But both crusts have that burn charcoal taste and smell which I was just right to my liking - Tagliatelle with wagyu beef was a no go. I realise that I didn’t like tagliatelle as it’s too flat, thus having no texture. Not sure how to gauge if this is a homemade prata as there was nothing for me to rave about. Sauce was just average tomato sauce which hmm….. 😅 - Ravioli Slipper Lobster was a much better option as the ravioli is filled with lots of lobster. Taste wise, definitely much better than the tagliatelle wagyu but I believe they are made from the same pasta - Bellini cocktail which was mildly sweet yet very refreshing 👍👍👍 - Panna cotta pudding which I kind of love it. The pudding has the firmer beancurd texture, with a mild milky flavour (I’m not a big fan of dairy product but this was just right) and the sweetness of the raspberry and blueberries sauce complements the pudding as the pudding was a little bland (yet with the mild milky flavour of course) 👍👍👍 Service was amazing though, definitely a good place to chitchat with friends over a glass of nice alcohol and dessert 👍

The place was empty during lunch (our table of 3 diners were the only one occupied). Perhaps it was December and everyone is away. Still, I can’t understand why because the food and service here is great ! Try the warm seafood salad. It’s very good.

Brilliant food and awesome ambience.. The service is a bit slow (we had to call the server multiple times to even take our order) but the food was worth the wait. The pesto pizza, tiramisu were the highlights of our meal. It was a great time with friends and will visit again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Forketta at Dempsey Hill, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The restaurant's ambiance was simply enchanting, creating the perfect setting for a delightful afternoon. Parking was a breeze, especially on a late Saturday afternoon when I expected it to be a bit more crowded. The convenience of finding parking easily added to the overall enjoyment of the visit. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted warmly by the staff, and throughout the entire meal, their attentiveness was commendable. They were friendly. I tried both the 4 cheese pizza and the Piccante pizza, and they were both absolutely divine. The crust was a true standout, perfectly baked to achieve just the right amount of chewiness. It had that delightful combination of crispiness on the outside and a soft, airy interior. The flavors of the pizzas were equally impressive. The 4 cheese pizza was a cheese lover's dream, with each cheese complementing the others, creating a rich and creamy taste. The Piccante pizza, on the other hand, was a delightful burst of flavors, with the spiciness adding a pleasant kick to every bite. Forketta exceeded my expectations with its lovely ambiance, top-notch service, and mouthwatering pizzas. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner spot or a place to catch up with friends over a great meal, this restaurant is worth a visit. I can't wait to return to try more items from their menu and savor that delicious crust again.

We visited on mother's day 2022. The Lamb was very Good, but the pizza appeared to me as below average. See my photo of pizza.i have tasted real quality Italian Pizza in much lower standard restaurants. The chicken and veg was oiled snd spread on top of the pizza. I would not rate even as 4 star pizza. My honest opinion for a pricy restaurant. I expected much quality genuine Italian pizza. Disappointed on the pizza. The salad was nice and Lamb was very Good. Ambience was Good and clean.

Undercooked & distasteful aftertaste of vongle, poor service from manager who refuse to replace another dish & insist we accept it as it is. Vongle tasted like undercooked yellow mee. 1st return: undercooked and staff came back with same dish and just warm with the same dish 2nd return: undercooked and staff came back to explain that’s the way it is 3rd return: slightly better but still undercooked and mild bitter aftertaste still present. I took the time to review here to warn others and read this review to skip the vongle or even skip the restaurant.

If you are Singlish speaking, Forketta sounds like “Forget 她”🤭 Saw the mixed reviews with rather extreme ratings but decided to give it a try to indulge a little. The high ceiling and the wood fired aroma just makes the place feel so special. I must say the food is good. The La Forketta pizza is something to go for. I have never eaten a pizza with black Angus beef and it feels like eating a cheesy pizza with grilled fatty sliced wagyu. We were recommended the char-grilled lamb cutlets which is the best I have eaten. To end it all, the warm chocolate cake is rich and creamy. The staff is also friendly and attentive. 👍🏻

La Forkette is renowned for offering top-notch Italian cuisine in Singapore. The staff provides exceptional and polite service. Their delectable pizzas are truly authentic, which is why I adore La Forkette's pizza.

Food is great as the environment is. But there is room to improve the service - side dishes arrived before main meat meal, the staff coordinator seemed anxious pressuring the the waiters (our bill arrived before we ordered dessert).

The food was below average. We had the burrata and it would’ve been delicious if they didn’t put it on top of sugared tomato sauce. The pasta was extremely oily but the pizza was alright. We did request to change the pork off a dish because I don’t eat pork but they said that their chef is not allowed to change ingredients so if you have allergies or diet restrictions I highly recommend you avoid the restaurant since they made it clear they won’t accommodate. The bill at the end wasn’t worth it.

One of our fave places for dinner. But only for dine-in. For takeaway, we stopped doing so after they charged us the same as grab delivery even though we self collect.

The service is excellent and the staff are always around to help. The food could have been better especially the Pasta. The fish I ordered didn’t include sides which at the cost should have been.

Disappointed by the lackluster signature pizza at Forketta Dempsey Hill. Toppings were underwhelming, pizza are cold or you can say its just warm when served, and to make matters worse, no photos allowed inside. Explore other options for a tastier experience. Additional comments: The pizza is not hot as mentioned on my first bite once it arrived. We dint even take a group photo as the restaurant mentioned

Me & my colleague came over for a quick lunch and only ordered 2 main dishes. The restaurant setting are quite romantic with Christmas music already piping softly in the background. The seabass came perfectly and well seasoned! I like how the crispy skin is presented on the dish. The chili oil definitely add-on the kick for the pizza. We will come back and try more food next time 👍

second time here! (first 5 pics are from recent visit, last two pics are from nov ‘22) starters are exceptional, burrata is a must try and easily our favourite dish on the menu. grilled octopus is also a favourite, wonderfully seasoned and cooked well (only thing we didn’t like was the yuzu but it’s ok, just don’t eat it) got the parma ham pizza and it’s super good as well, their pizzas are freshly made and baked in a wood fire oven so you can really taste the smokiness! crust is good as well. only reason why -1 star is because we had to wait quite a while for our pastas even after the rest of the food was done and cleared (which were served last). had the beef rigatoni previously as well but this time round the taste wasn’t up to standard and the rigatoni was a bit bland. they were very generous with the vongole this time round and the clams were really fresh! broth was flavourful as well but would prefer if the dish was served in a deep dish plate instead of the wide plate so that the pasta could be soaked too. opted for linguine this time round, although the pasta is handmade the linguine was a bit too thick which wasn’t very good mouthfeel 😅 prices are a bit steep as well for drinks, still water (1L of acqua panna) is $11 🥲 so remember to ask for normal drinking water instead ($1 charge). overall, ambience is good for a date night or formal dinner, they have plenty of staff around and service is great too. overall, the pizzas would definitely be more of a must try compared to the pastas but do have the burrata as well!

Forketta is one of the perfect restaurants for relaxed dining experience in Singapore. Located in laid back Dempsey Hills, it is a good choice for non vegetarians and vegetarians alike. We love it for its ambience, good food and super great service ♥️ The sight of neatly piled red tomatoes and the warm tones of indoor seating is sure to fire your appetite! Those who can tolerate humidity may sit under the numerous fans outdoors while the rest can choose from the well laid out indoors. We just love the Forketta!

Amazing food. The plain margarita is made with a good cheese. Pizzas are fresh and very tasty. A well made aperol spritz perfected the afternoon lunch. Desserts are even better with the tiramisu outstanding.

Awed by the imported firewood from Italy. Made its signature Forketta pizza all the more fragrant and tasty.

Absolute joke of a place. Pure rudeness. Ordered 2 Bloody Mary (19 bucks each) that just do not taste like what it is supposed to be (more just tomato juice). Gave them back to waitress and cancelled the order apologising at the same time. We literally got lectured by the manager (owner?) and she just put them back on the table saying that she knows better and that she’s been doing it for 30 yrs (sorry if you’ve been doing it wrong all this time then). Utterly shocked. Also, who still uses plastic straws these days? Everything is completely over priced. Zero respect for customer, environment, only their bank account.

I’ve had a good lunch here. Superb quality pasta… Housemade linguine, very fresh seafood. Nothing to say bad of it. Very friendly wait staff that was loving to our puppy. I would return again anytime for a good pasta, pizza.

Went for Lunch at La Forketta last weekend and sadly didn’t take any pictures cause we were so hungry! Everything was great. 3 people, we had 2 starters and 3 mains, well worth it for the price and filled us up good. My only regret was not ordering a larger pizza to start. Would 100% go back for more. Lobster ravioli is a must. The restaurants design is super causal but pretty, would imagine it looks stellar at night!

One of the best Italian restaurants in Dempsey hill and in town. Has great selection of Italian food and nice ambience. Good selection of desserts too. Usually quite busy and has outdoor seating too

Great service, ambience and overall good food. The pizza and calamari was a standout. We ordered a few pastas as (carbonara, slipped lobster ravioli) but it was pretty average. A little on the pricey side but still a lovely experience!

Pretty great food and atmosphere. We went for the Festive Menu and it's pretty delicious with the risotto, octopus and buratta as stand outs. However the server forgot to serve main and instead serve desserts after our appetizers. Overall it's still great!

We went to Forketta for few times already. The food taste and quality if still good and worth the price. The staff are very attentive. We called for reservation very last minute but the host was still able to give us a nice table.
