Great family restaurant and also good for gatherings. The serve up one of the best ribs in singapore. Personally like the Garlic ribs as the sauce is tangy and has an umami flavour to it. They also have a good selection of alcohol and non alcoholic beverages to choose from.

Had dinner here for 4pax at about 7.50pm on Sunday evening. Service staff were attentive and polite, ambience was nice and relaxing, food was delicious! My parents who are very picky on western food liked the hickory BBQ ribs very much.

Spacious and good service. Was there before concert and was happy that we got our dish quickly and without delay. Taste was good too. Pork rib burger. Would visit again when in less of a rush.

Their service was prompt and thoughtful. The resturant was spacious; excellent place for family and friends to gather for a meal. Just like the other branches the food was equally good.

Came here on a day Sting was performing and the restaurant was packed with the concern goers. The staffs were busy serving and fulfilling the orders for the concert goers. It pays off with a little patience. Our orders came and Sting’s fans lefts to watch him sing 🎶. Ribs was a little tough with lots of meat due to the leaner cut we selected. Morgan’s pork ribs burger was good. Come before 8pm, there is HH for the drinks.

Have eaten here once in a while since it’s opening in 2012. The visit today was disappointing as the ribs were dry and seemed overcooked. Hope that they can get the standard back to where it was since most restaurants specialising in ribs are mostly gone.

$26.90 for a Wagyu Steak (medium). I got a cold, super thin, and dry piece of beef that is way well-done. Looked worse than kopitiam western food steak. Placed my backpack on the floor next to me. The staff, while serving my table, kept stepping over my bag, and ON my bag strap, minimally 4 times. I can't believe this is Morganfield's standard and level of service.

Was here for the 1 for 1 Babyback Ribs promotion. Although the ribs were tender, they were on the dry side. The half slab spare ribs was better although not as juicy as oven cooked ribs. Also there was insufficient sauce on the ribs, which is why there's bottles of tomato and chilli sauce on every table. The onion rings were also disappointing, batter was too thick and oily. Overall a disappointing meal which was not cheap even with the promotion. Take note that you can change the fries for the corn bread which was nice.

Ordered the ribeye steak and a surf and turf to share, and the portion is huge! The fish and chips is really good - crispy batter, very succulent and not oily at all. Would recommend getting the sharing plates as the portion you get is worth the price!

Dec 2023. It was a Christmas eve! We came here for their Half and Half. We opted for their classic hickory and garlic sauces. They were so delicious. I preferred hickory. Their staff were energetic and warm, thanks for the hard work on a public holiday eve.

Spare Ribs with Hickory BBQ, Coleslaw, Fries and an additional order of Corn Bread I was looking forward to try this for the longest so I decided to order it in for lunch. But was disappointed that the spare ribs itself weren't as tender as I expected it to be and it was also on the dry side. It was kinda hard to pull the meat apart. The fries is nice fried and still retain the crispness on the outside while soft on the inside. The coleslaw taste rather bland. The best thing from this order would be the corn bread though. It felt a lot like a comfort snack. Wasn't dry like most corn bread I have tried. I don't know if it's due to it being delivered. Maybe I should give it a try dining in next time.

We had the bestseller platter for 2. The Angus Steak is absolutely b.e.e.f.y as it is described on the menu if you are a fan of beef then you will like it with the brown sauce. Had it medium well. Though one of the signature garlic stickybone babyback pork ribs is grilled till it is a little too dry n crispy this round which is usually not the norm of Morganfields premium standards. Probably a younger and less experienced chef is helming this Sunday. I would prefer the unforgettably tender, truly sticky and more succulent Asian garlic stickybone portions served year round at Orchard Central Morganfields branch. This no.1 stickybone dish never disappoints with its melt-in-your-mouth and over-the-top generous juicy garlic toppings, you can well do away with any chilli spice. The most brilliant stickybones in SG has to be this dish in Morganfields flagship store! To top it off, the beer battered Hoki fish & chips is good. The pitcher of summer citrus cooler is a sure pleaser!

This place serve the best Fried Onion in Singapore (though its a little bit oily larr) but it taste so juicy so crunchy. Ordered a lunch set that comes with a soup + drinks with main course fish and chip that costs only $18 which is relatively reasonable. Will definitely come again.

Came here on a sat with 2 adults and 2 kids. They have a promotion where every kid dines free with a paying adult on weekends. So we ordered 2 main courses and were entitled to 2 foc kids meal. We ordered the pork belly chop ($26.9), blackened salmon ($27.9) and got 2 kids meals (mac and cheese, and fish fingers). Upon recommendation from our waiter, we ordered the wintea wonderland ($7.9). In summary: pork chop has a thick layer of fats which we cut off most of it, as it gets a bit heavy on our taste buds after a while. The salmon was a bit overcooked and dry. Kids mac and cheese was great. Kids fish fingers were not good. All fries and butter corn kennels served with the kids meal were great. The wintre wonderland was too sweet and doesn't have any tea taste at all (definitely not worth the cost). Most of the food were on the saltier side as well. Overall not too bad an experience but also not something that will appeal to us to probably come back anytime soon.

Just had Friday dinner and they have promotion. I would think it's really worth the price I paid. The ribs was very good, though the spicy peppercorn sauce was not even spicy nor can feel the peppercorn taste. Steak was cooked medium as per our order. Staffs were friendly and attentive. They offered us a bib as we wore white.

Title: Insights from My Visit to Morganfields, Star Vista Approaching Morganfields with optimism fueled by a family friend's rave about their ribs, I sought the restaurant manager's guidance during my Saturday evening visit, ultimately settling on the hickory sauce ribs. When I informed the waitress about my MSG sensitivity, she kindly assured me they don't add MSG but noted its potential presence in pre-prepped sauces and items from their suppliers – an unexpected disclosure for a Western eatery. Despite my MSG sensitivity, I embraced the meal and its potential aftermath, preemptively taking antihistamines before diving into the platter for 2. However, a few noteworthy observations emerged: 1. The onion rings, while crispy, leaned towards the oily side with each bite. 2. The pork ribs emitted a subtle gamey aroma, and the marination left ample room for improvement. It seemed as though they were hastily prepared, receiving a last-minute sauce treatment in the oven for a caramelized appearance. The flavor, while acceptable, resembled a standard off-the-rack option, lacking a genuine touch. Comparing Morganfields to other establishments, even those not specializing in ribs like Ashton and Collins, differences were regrettably evident. While my personal experience fell short of expectations, I encourage diners to explore diverse options and consider their preferences. Perhaps, embarking on a culinary adventure with supermarket ribs at home might offer a more satisfying and personalized experience. On a light-hearted note, I'll take my family friend's gastronomic advice with a ladle of salt next time, navigating her culinary knowledge with caution. 😂

Came for the valentine's day dinner, food and atmosphere was good. There was free flow of white wine with the set meal and it was good. As it was full house and there was only 4 to 5 service staff, they managed it very well especially the manager/ team lead as they were responsive to our request when needing to top up our wine or for additional sauce for our steak. Good job!

Ribs were on point as usual. Asked for more sauce to go with the ribs and the kitchen was very generous with it, much appreciated! Got platter for 2. Food is good but cocktails could definitely use some improvement - Much too sweet and too much ice, so it tastes more like a mocktail more than anything. Staff are great - friendly and efficient.

Had orders of Buffalo Wings (the coat of sauce was not thick enough so it didn't really coat well on the wings as we would have experience elsewhere - hence no pics), mushroom soup (good), humongous Fish n chips (batter was thick n crunchy if you like yours that way), fried chicken burger (ok lah but should have tried cheeseburgers), blacken salmon (good but could be better with veg/broccoli instead of mixed beans?), half&half platter to share (nice sides, good portion but the new bacon sauce... We didn't like it as it left a bit of a sour taste at the end) maybe it was the bourbon... 😂. Maybe just go safe w the bbq sauces. Surprisingly, the fries are 👍. Overall the ambience is nice and the place is big. So it's good for gatherings / family dining.

The signature dish would be the ribs, and it did not dissapoint. Ordered half a rack and received a meaty serving of pork ribs. There was a lack of char, but the meat was still tender enough to get a pass on taste.

Mac&Cheese at Morganfields at Star Vista had been the kids favourites when we dine there for lunch on Sundays. Unfortunately the standard of the ribs are so dry and tough that I cannot imagine that they are serving the ribs. It is the usual Surf and Turf for my wife and me. Highlighted it to the service staff, Alvin, and he feedback to kitchen and offered a replacement portion of the ribs. The replacement portion was slightly better then the previous but it is still too dry. Such a standard of ribs from Morganfield is simply not acceptable. I am definitely not coming back again. Would have given only 1 star but 1 additional star for the service staff whom had always been polite in that branch.

I’ve been to the Vivocity and Somerset 313 outlets about 2 years ago, I enjoyed the ribs back then as they were juicy and tender. Ordered 2 combo platters during the recent visit last month. Portions were small. Standard and taste of the ribs have dropped. Tasted quite dry. Nice gesture of the service crew to give us another half baby back rib coz the one that came together with the fish was very small. The sausages don’t look or taste like they have been grilled. Not sure if I’d return again.

Spacious, buzzing, good service…fresh greens, lovely ribs, even lovier pint of hh draft…missed the mark by stale fries.

Went for early dinner on a Monday, not crowded. Friendly and efficient service. Ordered their loaded chilli nachos...big bowl of crispy nachos with a good portion of chopped tomatoes, jalapenos, corn, beef chunks in tomato sauce and olives. Yum! Had Mother's day special cherry glazed ribs which came with french fries and coleslaw ... tender & delish! Ended with a pitcher of frozen lemonade - refreshing. 😋😋😋

My wife and I were there in the evening at 8pm. Wilson and his team was really professional and thoughtful. On knowing that my wife is pregnant, Wilson promptly got a seat away from the crowd near the window for us. We were touched by his kind gesture. The sausages and ribs were not warm when served, however they do taste great. Fries and vegetables were good. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Thank you all at Morganfield’s for the service!

Nice and spacious atmosphere. Generous portion. The ribs we order is a bit burnt so the rating goes down a bit. Friendly staffs and good service. Overall, a moderate find. I still miss Tony Roma’s ribs. Probably got used to their taste. But at least, place still can provide a good ribs fix.
