Came on a rainy Friday evening to celebrate my anniversary. Reserved a table indoors but was given a high table which was rather uncomfortable. Service was alright, was a little difficult to catch the service crew’s attention ‘cos we were seated behind the fridge. It was quite stuffy despite being indoors too, perhaps outdoors would have been a better option (plus the view +++). Ordered the Vespetta Set Dinner with wine pairing ($88), Carpaccio di Tonno ($28) and Gnocchi di Patate con Salsiccia e Zafferano ($30). The Set Dinner was really value for money. The Burrata with Parma Ham was really good and exactly how you would imagine it to taste. Adriatic Seafood Spaghetti was alright, the seafood was fresh but it was on a lighter note and not as flavourful as I expected. The Grilled Angus Beef Rib Eye with Rosemary Roasted Potatoes and Rocket was the best! Absolutely love the beef and the taste of the potato was great but would be even better if it’s more crusted. Tiramisu was alright. The Carpaccio di Tonno (Yellow Fin Tuna Carpaccio, with Rocket and Fennel Salad, Amalfi Lemon Dressing) was not my kind of food and was on the drier end, personally feel you can skip this dish. Was craving for gnocchi but it didn’t satisfy my cravings either 😂 Will be back to try their Risotto and Ravioli since they’re both highly raved!

Came here for a simple birthday lunch with colleagues and really did not know what to expect. Sometimes when you don’t have any expectations is when you get the best pleasant surprise. All of us throughly enjoyed our orders and (being Chinese) we were most impressed with the pork belly. Most of us took the 2-3 course lunch and the portions did not disappoint. My colleague raved about the Tiramisu saying it was nice, light, creamy and with just the right amount of coffee. Considering its near my office - i will definitely go back there again soon. I would like to specially compliment the service staff, there was only 1 of her. At the time of my meal there were 8 tables dining. Not once did i had to call for service, it was really amazing how observant she was making sure we had time to finish one meal so she can clear the table and serve the next course. FANTASTIC JOB DONE!!

Back for dinner the 3rd time to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday last weekend and I must say they are one of the best Italian restaurants around. Food standard is always consistent and excellent service too! My favorites are the seafood soup, panna cotta and ravioli. This time we had the gnocchi, pork belly, seafood pasta and apple tart, both of which were divine!

We celebrated our Valentine's Day here yesterday and was mind blown by the 4 Course Dinner. Every single dish tasted spectacular and dished out beautifully. It was an unforgettable gastronomic experience for the eyes and mouth. Dishes served out were well paced and prepared fresh to avoid diners feeling too full. Mostly importantly, this meal was priced very reasonably for their generous portion. We will definitely visit again! (Service was also top notch)

Lunch for 4 pax. Calamari was really not nice. The rest of food was alright w some pretty salty. Five pieces of pasta for ravioli. My friends didn’t like the risotto.

Very nice Italian restaurant on Boat quay with outdoor riverside & indoor seating. We loved all dishes from crisp, fresh salad, delicious bruschetta to mains - piping hot pizza & creamy pasta. Cocktails were average, could be better. Definitely recommended place to go on Boat quay!

Vespetta is one of, if not, the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten at. I’ve been to Italy several times so I have a pretty good sense of tasty authentic Italian cuisine. I recently ate at Vespetta and I was pleasantly surprised. The service, the location and especially the food were all top notch. With just one bite, you can tell the quality and freshness of the ingredients. We had the calamari, the seafood risotto and the buffalo cheese pizza with spicy salami. All tasted fantastic and the ambiance and service just added to the occasion. I truly had a wonderful dining experience and I highly recommend Vespetta for lunch or dinner, but dinner is magnificent on the River front. You will be glad you visited them, I know I am.

Wonderful food and service! Very happy with every member of the staff who served us tonight. They were really attentive and polite~ Had the calamari (very fresh and fried to perfection. The sauce complemented it well too~), vongole and risotto~ Taste of the food was very authentic and it’s more to the heavy side. Desserts were amazing! Both the tiramisu and panna cotta was delicious. Too bad I didn’t have room for the pizza dough dessert cos it looked really good (table next to us got it xD) The view from the outdoor tables was good too since it’s by the river. Perfect for dates ^^ Really glad I came here for dinner. . . . . Psst. There was a little bit of sand in my risotto >< Guessing the mussels were not cleaned thoroughly enough. But I would still come back for the pizza next time!

Quiet when we went for weekend lunch. Food is of big portion, but not optimally prepared and cooked. Octopus was chewy, pork belly was cut in big, dull cubes that looks hardly appetising. Food quality hardly justifies the price tag even we applied discount vouchers.

We had a company lunch. The set menu $41 (before service charge and gst) comes with starter, main course and dessert. However certain dishes need add-on price so the price is not absolute final. The food quality is acceptable but no surprise. The breaded roasted sea bass fillet maybe a bit dry considering it is roasted. The roasted boneless chicken leg is quite well prepared and juicy. Calzone Alla Nutella is good for 2 or more people to share. Taste is good thanks to Nutella. Tiramisu is so-so. Atmosphere is nice if you're sitting outside along the river, but may be hot and exposed to sunlight if it is sunny. It maybe a good place for business lunch or drinking only.

Came here for lunch after my banking stuff. Pretty much little aircon but it’s alright not warm as there are many wall fans around. Food quality is okay but wish the tomatoes is grilled and potato not burnt. Salads is good as I love the cheese, beef is okay. Tiramisu serving is big, plus point is not too sweet just right. My colleague ordered sea bass and looks really good. Overall a decent and happy meal.

I am glad I found Vespetta to hold my company's year end dinner! Chef/Owner Francesco was very helpful in the whole planning from the set up of their Level 2 Private Room to the food menu and everything went smoothly from the beginning to the end of the event. Great service from their waitress, Casey, she was very attentive, friendly and helpful too. Excellent Italian food with big portion for all our sharing plates! We enjoyed every single bite of the food served. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family for any kind of events!

Some hits, some misses, but there’re dishes that are worth coming back. The texture of the bolognese pasta was impeccable. The ribeye steak was average as it's not well seasoned enough. Just needed salt for the flavors to pop. Side note: The tiramisu was very good. A must try. Prices were alright.

The fried calamari was really good, crispy batter, salted and goes well with the salsa dip. Tiramisu was good as well. Ravioli, personally feel it could have cooked a little longer and truffle taste was not very strong. Octopus's meat was a little tough and maybe some sauce would have been good.

Had an unforgettable dining experience at this restaurant last night. The explanation and apology from the Manager did not sound sincere. The food is good at this place but service can be improved. However, we will never dine here again. Care for all you customers and not just a select few!

Authentic italian food. We enjoyed the burratina with grilled vegetables. Its light & refreshing to eat. The grilled fish with roasted potatoes is lovely. Great to be seated outdoor for fresh air & nice view of Boat quay.

Good Italian at affordable prices (would recommend the restaurant to pair burrata with parma ham instead). Hidden gem of Singapore. When I passed by Boat Quay, always wondered why this well deserving place wasn't as packed as the others. Definitely a must try.

Two course lunch: 1. Mushroom soup - creamy and tasty, but the croutons had the "fridge" taste 2. Sea bass fish fillet

A cute little place on Boat quay. Had super nice bruschetta and a grilled veggie platter served with burratta cheese. A single malt will cost you around 18$ Margerita was 17$ Chardonnay tomaresca costed 18$ by glass. (Although the margerita was served in a wine glass) It was a good place for a small apéro. A little crowded even on the weekdays so might have to wait to be seated.

Authentic Italian Food but WORST DINING EXPERIENCE. PLEASE READ THE LOWEST COMMENTS AND IT IS CONSISTENTLY THE SAME COMPLAINT. We ordered a pizza and a pasta since its a long night of eating and drinking for me and my husband. Realising that's all the food, the man who registers to me as the manager abruptly turned his back without asking for our drinks. The manager came table to table checking on their caucasian customers and just conveniently skipped us! There was no communication or anything. Towards the end of the meal, husband still has a slice of pizza in hand and the waitress abruptly without asking cleared our plates, that was really RUDE AND IMPOLITE.

Good Italian restaurant in very busy nightlife area. The tables on the quay offer a better view and atmosphere. A bit small, with polite waitresses. Food above average, considering how far away from Italy it is! Recommended

What an amazing hidden Italian gem restaurant in Boat Clarke. Upon our arrival on a cool evening around 6:00PM, we were greeted by the friendly staff to show us to our river view table. Bruschetta al Pomodoro - simple and delicious. Pasta - clams with pasta you can’t go wrong with seafood in white wine. I couldn’t get enough Pizza - the pizza amazing, the sauce is fresh along with the prosciutto which equal to epic pizza. Tip: You need to make reservation to seat near the River view tables.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Singapore for me. It is located in the center of Boat Quay and you can enjoy good Italian food with feeling the breeze. Their menu is genuine Italian food and wine. It is a bit pricy but this is one of the most famous tourist places in Singapore so it is reasonable. Don’t forget drink nice Limoncello at the end of meal!

My 2nd time having dinner at this place via the Entertainer deal, and the food and service were as good as my first dinner here—maybe even better! Opted for alfresco seating and it was a perfect date night spot. The calamari was perfectly cook and well seasoned. The Orecchiette Pomodoro w/ Burrata was good. The orecchiette pasta was fresh and had that perfectly cooked al dente texture. The pomodoro sauce was also fresh but was a bit one-note... if there was just a bit of spice/chilli heat added to the dish, I think the whole dish would be taken to a whole new level. The Ravioli Ai Porcini, on the other, was perfect in its entirety!!! Perfectly cooked pasta, balanced ravioli filling, and a SUPERB UMAMI BLAST of a porcini black truffle cream sauce. It was so flipping delicious that I felt compelled to add a photo of the cleaned out plate that was used to serve those raviolis. Please do not give this place a miss! Especially if you have the Entertainer app! Heck, I’ll come back even without the Entertainer deal. ?

Not usually a fan of restaurants down the Boat Quay stretch (tourist traps) but I had a splendid meal at Vespetta whilst enjoying the great view of Singapore. We ordered their Vongole, Burrata, seafood risotto and calamari. Our mains were bursting with ingredients making for such a hunky-dory meal. My Burrata was pleasantly accompanied by roasted vegetables so I thought that was a plus in terms of sides. We enjoyed 2 bottles of Montepulciano which was really easy drinking with our meals. The service was exceptional and we enjoyed 1-1 deal with our entertainer app.

Had an awesome Italian meal at Vespetta yesterday! The food are authentic and the pizza is generous in portion. Love their thin crust and the Vespetta pizza is a must-order. Their seafood pasta and ravioli are highlights of the meal. I will come back again!

This is my second visit and definitely will visit again. Both service and foods are so good. We ordered lamb chop, pizza, fried calamari, black truffle pasta and tiramisu. The black truffle pasta, fried calamari and tiramisu are must eat.

Great food and ambience. The seafood tomato soup was the highlight of the evening (must try!) Waiting time for service and food was longer than expected but that's only with 2 waiting staff serving the whole restaurant on a Friday evening barely a week after dining in was allowed after the Covid lockdown.

Good place with a view (you get to see the river and the nice inner city skyline) , good food and friendly service staff (whom I suspect is the manager but I cannot be sure?) The Ham with Mozerella is really amazing and a considerably decent portion too. They really use good quality ham and Mozerella for this starter. Which already wowed us. The Risotto (truffle and mushroom) and Pork is amazing too really. Although the serving is a bit too big for the pork and we were not able to finish it. Also, the staff is really attentive to your needs although the place was seriously understaffed (literally one dude working the tables) so its really nice. This place accepts entertainer and Chope too. With a 1-for-1 mains, the bill came up to 65SGD, which is fairly acceptable for a restaurant of this standard.

  • 5/5 Jeremy W. 4 years ago on Google
Best Italian restaurant in Singapore for pastas!! Their Ravioli Ai Porcini, Ravioli Ai Spinaci, and Orecchiette Pomodoro e Burrata are among the best pastas in the city. However, my most favorite of all is a bespoke order of their Linguine Mushroom Alfredo, a decadently rich and creamy pasta to gorge on!! Service is excellent, with a location that boasts a waterfront view.

Had a large party with colleagues at their private room and got to try many dishes from their menu. Pizza is absolutely fantastic, such a nice crispy bottom with a truly tasty tomato sauce! Another favorite is their seafood pasta, the tomato sauce is delicious and with a good topping of seafood. They are also great at customizing for allergies and special diets, and service was excellent and efficient. We will be back, especially for the pizza! Thanks to the Vespetta team for a successful companyevent with discerning overseas partners!

Chanced upon this place on eatigo and I’m so glad I did! Can’t pick on this place at all! They have an outdoor area right by the river, it was so chill, peaceful and breezy. Service was impeccable - servers were so attentive and they clear out your plates fast when you’re done to serve the next dish. Food was absolutely delicious! The bruschetta was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. It was a good medley of tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, Parmesan, balsamic vinegar. Linguine vongole was perfect too. Pasta was al dente and flavorful. Vespetta pizza was so good!! The crust was so delicious - texture and flavor was outstanding - crispy but soft, we just couldn’t stop. The tomato paste, burrata, and prosciutto was so fresh. I call it a delicious mess! Would I come back, definitely. Would I recommend this place, hell yeah!

Really worth it with entertainer, I'm not sure i would dine here otherwise (cheapo exposed). Risotto with alleged black truffle and foie gras, and an octopus tentacle - around $44 after tax. The restaurant is quite warm and cigarette smoke comes in from the outside. There was nice service from one of the waiters who was quite warm, the same can't be said of the manager(?).
