A once in a lifetime experience. There are no words in the English language that can describe the flavors, ingredients and quality of the food that is served in this restaurant. All the previously mentioned factors are also made better by a very Japanese ambience that feels warm, elegant and welcoming. A must try for sushi lovers and anyone who wants to have a delightful meal.

My wife and I visited Tatsuya for a weekday lunch. The food portions were sufficient and needless to say the food was delicious. The aburi sushi set was particularly outstanding. The wagyu don was a little pricey but the taste was spectacular. We left very satisfied and will be looking to return to dine again.

Excellent food and wonderful ambience. Every mouthful of the sushi is freshness. The wagyu beef and egg combination is heavenly. To end the course, the caramel ice cream is unique and mind-blowing.

Our favorite omakase restaurant for years and always on the spot good. Never disappoints. Lively and friendly chefs and great service. Even with my dietary preference, they can cater and change last minute without batting eyelids. Their caviar is sweet and not very salty. Sea urchin always fresh, sweet and melts in the mouth. Their fusion mix with their special sauce is unique and ingredients combination superb. Pictures below are not in one seating but from different days and different menu. Chef is very attentive. He reminded the waiter what I didn’t want becos they served it, else I would’ve ate it. The omakase took only an hour to complete.

Date of visit : 3 Feb 2023 Time : 8.30 pm Made a reservation for 2. It’s my birthday and my partner wanted to celebrate with me. Decided to try here and see. The bar counter probably can seat about 10-12. Inside where we are seated, 3 tables seating 8, 4 and 2 configurations. A few more tables alfresco outside facing the Carpark. First time here, so a bit cautious. Ordered the 5 type sashimi, tuna belly roll, day special roll (deep fried swordfish with aburi salmon on top), pan fried beef and 2 white rice. Everything given was a bit teeny weeny. A bit miserly for a restaurant. For the sashimi, only one of each given, and not too great. The rolls are good, but tiny. Beef is ok. Rose flavored tea served FOC at the end. Service is great. The waitress is knowledgeable. But won’t return.

I actually enjoyed the food here more than some other $400++/pax Japanese omakase dinners I had before. I felt one of the main differences is here provides more aburi-sushi. I ordered the tokusen sushi set. The piece of foie gras on top of scallop was especially nice! So was the negitoro. And surprisingly, the vegetable pickles impressed me the most with its best balanced seasoning.

The lunch Aburi sushi set never fails to hit the spot every single time - the combination of the mix & match of the sauces and various toppings combined with fresh fish. Fresh ingredients, value for money! I always leave the restaurant feeling really satisfied. Service crew are all very attentive as well.

Pretty small pieces of fish for the bara chirashi, but as expected the fish was fresh. Service is attentive. Atmosphere and decor was excellent

As expected, fresh sashimi and excellent hospitality. The food was beautifully done. Most of all, I enjoyed watching the chefs at the bar, what a performance.

It was a rainy day as we arrived. A woman wearing kimono picked me up from the car with umbrella. Excellent service. Food we had omakase as I was too lazy to think, just tell them our restrictions and they settle the rest. The drinks paring was interesting.

An incredible Japanese restaurant in Singapore located just outside the Goodwood Park hotel (a few minutes walk from the shops of Orchid Road). Exquisite food and Japanese Sake combined with impeccable service make a great night out. Try the Hideyoshi Sake - you won’t be disappointed.

Treated hubby to a birthday lunch. Had the aburi sushi set and mini lunch course set. Was amazed by the freshness of their sashimi and the intricate details of their food presentation. The service staff there were very attentive too. Abit on the pricey side but overall a great experience.

the taste is very good, the waiter is friendly. for the price it is extraordinarily expensive, because all the ingredients are fresh and imported directly from Japan. you have to make a reservation if you want to sit indoors

Super recommended!!! Even i who can’t eat sashimi can say that the sashimi is very soft, has a very unique delicious taste. We also ordered maki and wagyu beef rice for our granny, and the wagyu is so melting 🥹🥹🥹🥹 love the service, all the staff is friendly and super helpful. Plus it’s definitely worth the money👍🏻👍🏻

Very high quality sushi and sashimi! I ordered an assorted sushi platter and every piece was just as amazing the next. I loved how they put wasabi in with each of the pieces for an extra kick. I didn't know most of the kinds of fish I was trying, but I'm happy I finally got to try something like this. Definitely recommend!

Superb selection of sushi and sashimi. Nothing but the freshest stuff is served. We went a little overboard with the uni but it was so worth it. The waiters were very knowledgeable and service was excellent. I would recommend asking them about their specials as there were some off-menu items they recommended. Will definitely be back.

My husband surprised me with this special dinner set from Tatsuya for my birthday. The food was amazing! The various sashimi were all really fresh. Also, I love uni so they made sure there were a few dishes consisting of uni. They even gave a slice of cake to celebrate the occasion. How thoughtful. Cannot wait to dine in person next time!

Had the 10 piece sushi set and quality was impeccable. Also ordered their grilled miso cod which was unpretentious and flavourful. However the 5 piece sashimi and otoshi served were quite underwhelming. Recommended sake was great too, even though it isn't the priciest on the list. Service is warm and accommodating, chef is very kind and makes you feel taken care of.

Wonderful restaurant with nice ambience and very good service. Price is on the high side but is good for celebrations with loved ones.

Always a pleasure dining here, they are very flexible when it comes to ordering things not on the menu and the size and otoro as usual was superb. It was worth spending over $1000 for 4 adults 1 child. Wish the indoor room at the back was partitioned as we had 2 other tables very close to us, talking loudly, picking up phone calls, burping/belching loudly and kept asking the waitress loudly what we were having at our table etc probably better to brave the heat and just sit outside for some peace and quiet. The waitresses are still very attentive even if you sit outside based on our past experiences. Thank you Ronnie and team.

My favourite place for aburi sushi. Have been coming here for years and it never fails to please. We always sit at the counter so we can see the chef prepare the meal. It was a lovely meal as usual. Paired with a delicious junmai diginjo. Thank you.

Picture speak louder than words. The food quality and freshness is simply amazing. This restaurant tend to add in yuzu to all their food to enhance the taste of raw seafood. I am totally okay with it and felt this is the special point about this restaurant. Price is very high which I believe most people will not be able to frequent this restaurant but I won’t complaint as their quality and atmosphere are good.

Hands down some of the best sushi I've ever had. Chef Terence really took care of us. Just be aware of the price tag!

The omakase dinner was AMAZING! Every dish was immaculately plated & presented - a work of art too beautiful to eat (My photos don't do justice). There were uni, truffle, cavier, wagyu, scallops & an assortment of sashimi/sushi. Food is exceptional. Worth the splurge for that special someone or occasion.

Good place for sushi - but really not value for money. Can get something similar for much less at many other places. Most of the staff, including the sushi master, are locals.
