I have not been to this lovely restaurant for almost 4 years since Covid started. Nothing has changed, still tip top in terms of food and service. It is located in Teck Lim Road, which is very close to Chinatown. Parking is generally a concern, especially during lunch and dinner. They do provide valet service during dinner time. The boss Nicolas is always engaging his guests, and it is a very relaxing and cosy atmosphere throughout the whole course of my meal. Food is very good and some dishes are a surprise. All in all, it is highly recommended!!! Will visit soon.

The food was absolutely beautiful. Perfect place for special occasions. Service was great, price is reasonable. I personally really enjoyed the egg, scallops and beef. The ambience is great and the place is quaint. The dishes were prepared extremely well and the service staff were very attentive, even paying close attention to any food allergies that customers might have. I will definitely return again.

Came here after reading all the positive reviews. Had the 5 course degustation lunch. Comes with 3 appetizers, a main and a dessert. I would say every dish was alright, no particular misses, but nothing exactly spectacular in my opinion. Usually i may have a favorite dish, but I can’t really make up what was my favorite here. They have a small wine cellar, and there are wines placed everywhere around the restaurant with price tags on. A little difficult to move around looking for one, unless u know what u want. However, I can say that the service is good.

Homely french restaurant ambience. Everything taste just so good from the starters right to the dessert. Love that their bread are homemade. Food go well with pairing of different types of wine. Just a downside was that one part of the black pork is kinda raw and its diff to chew on

Food and presentation are pretty good. Took the 5 course surprise menu, favourite dish is probably the squid ink pasta with scallop. Prices are reasonable too, wide selection of wine. Valet parking services available at $6, helpful for those drivingx

Honestly the food was good, no complaints about the food but you better pray you aren’t here when this group beside me was. They were so loud and noisy I couldn’t hear myself think, we couldn’t even have a conversation at our table. We talked to the manager but he didn’t care at all, obviously because it’s a larger table they take priority over everyone else in the restaurant. 2 of the other tables literally moved outside because the noise was unbearable inside. Food- 4/5 Service - 1/5 Ambiance - 1/5 There are better places to spend your money, I personally won’t be coming back. If I could record an audio recording I would and let you experience, I recorded the decibel level 106 dB, equivalent to a handheld drill the whole time as a frame of reference. You can see why I’m writing this review, the decibel level of a handheld drill, throughout a 2 hour dinner. I’m sitting here with a decibel meter on my phone measuring it. Edit: the tables are extremely close together, small and intimate except when there is a loud table next to us. Average decibel level high 90’s (97.4) similar to a handheld drill, loudest it was 106 similar to a chainsaw. There are acceptable levels and then levels where staff should say something. 106 dB is above that level.

Has being coming back for many time. And each time will add on to the experience of wanting to come back for more. Very cosy environment and atmosphere in the general dinning area. And there is a private room beside the kitchen where you can a full view of the kitchen. Very good selection of wine. Service is top notch by Nicolas and stuff. As for the food, come and try and I am sure that it would not disappoint. And price very reasonable.

Visited this restaurant with some friends/colleagues on Saturday night, wow'd by their collection of wines in the restaurant... From tens to thousands per bottle, that can definitely satisfy the different needs of the guests. The food menu is quite simple, just a page of starters, all are very delicious and good match to the white wine the chef recommended, and another page of set with 3 courses. One hot starter, one main and one dessert. We had a wonderful time here in the restaurant till almost 11pm...

Easy going, Nicholas was great on the wine recommendations. The group went for the set menu. We sat inside. It was a little noisy in the closed environment.

Wonderful restaurant with great service and awesome food with a good pricing for their 5-course dinner. Like the burrata with tomatoes so much! Am very impressed with the cheese cart and their recommendation. Will patronize again!

Excellent food and service. The appetizer, mains, and desserts were all amazing (special shout out to the scallop linguine and fish entree here). Before the desserts, you'll have the option to order from a wide spread of cheese selections to cap of the night as well. Chef Nicolas was also very hands on through out the evening from sharing recommendations, serving, to mingling with guests. Thank you for the amazing experience and would definitely recommend the restaurant especially for special occasions.

If you love pairing your meal with good wine then this is the place to be. Firstly, the food itself is wonderfully executed so there’s no shortchange in this regard. With the expert input from Nicholas himself you are assured of value for money quality wine and not just French too though the majority would obviously be French. But be careful not to be carried away otherwise you’ll find yourself imbibing one too many bottles. Coupled with the cozy ambience where noise is minimal due to the limited number of tables, I’m sure your evening will be one where conversations you hear are only your own.

Nice desserts, I also enjoyed the pork and the sauces with the steak. The servers were also great. Do note there is a 45min-1h wait time between starter and main course, there is a very limited drinks menu besides bottled wine, and because it’s a small restaurant it’s cramped, echoey and noisy. Strengths are in the wine selection and desserts.

Had their 3 course set lunch, food was nice, just portion a little small. Love the cheese cart here can pick and choose the ones you like and definitely amazing selection of wine with good value!! Will definitely be back again!

One of the best French restaurants in Singapore. Truly a gem! Very good wine list at amazingly prices & food is superb! What's more Chef Nicolas & Chef Bebe filles with passion! Once, I brought 17 months old for lunch! My baby loves as much as me too!

Superb dinner last night at Nicolas. The Beef was absolutely wow. Perfect execution, juicy with the right amount of gaminess. The Scallops was also impressive. The Fettuccine pasta dish was more rustic than fine dining but still delicious nonetheless. Sadly BYO wine is longer allowed but the French wine selection is abundant and very reasonably priced. Atmosphere as always is warm and cozy and service is very accommodating. The happily obliged with spacing out the dishes so we had more time to savor the Champagne and Red we bought. Fair warning there is no wine list to read off, all the wines are displayed with price tags throughout the restaurant. If at a loss on what wine to order Chef Nicolas will be thrilled to advise on suitable ones.

Great food, great service. The cheese cart is amazing. The cheesecake is unreal and a must try. Was pleased to see they carry one of my favourite reds, Jean Foillard Morgon, which I highly recommend. Also met the owner who’s lovely as well.
