🫤 The food was mediocre at best, but the service was good. We made a reservation for seven beforehand, yet the table we were assigned was extremely small, could not even fit the dishes we ordered. Compared to other Chinese restaurants in this price bracket, such as those at the Ritz Carlton and Hilto... People often mention service, good, duck, Peking, Chinese, restaurant, great, dishes, nice, delicious,

Amazing food the place look amazing and our waitress was one of the most professional iv ever seen. Only negative point is the price which tend to be quite too high. Other than that it was great. They deserve a little visit from the Michelin guide ;)

Great attentive service. Price on the higher side of about $700 fpr 3pax or about $230 per pax with NO alcohol but really fine tasty chinese cuisine which i will return on special occassions as a reward. otherwise too rich for a daily meal

Came here for a wedding dinner on 26 June. The Peking duck was amazing, the wrapper skin is too thick. The aloe Vera jelly with peach gum was refreshing. The roasted crispy chicken could be better as it was dry. The fried rice with Sakura prawns was very nice and fluffy. The wasabi prawns was nice but it will be good if the wasabi sauce is separate as a dip instead of being lathered all over the prawns, as it was too much and salty. The sea cucumber with abalone and seasonal vegetable was nice. Balanced and not too salty. The abalone cordyceps soup was light and sweet. Steamed soon hock was great. Very fresh. Jellyfish starter was spicy and “started” my appetite 😝

One of the best Peking ducks ever! Please note that all other dishes, despite the high price, are portions for one pax only. Very expensive but worth the Michelin star!

Jiang Nan Chun, Spring in the mild China, is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Singapore. It’s been my cantine for 3 years when I wanted to indulge myself with good food and excellent service. Try the spicy Northern dumplings. They are the best of the World. Trust me.

Was recommended the Peking duck here so came for simple Sunday lunch with the family. Both the food, ambience and service was top notch. Pleasantly surprised the duck came with a Caviar offering. The appetisers and the meal end pineapple tarts were a special touch. The pictures speak for themselves. Will look to visit again when a special occasion arises.

Peking Duck was the highlight here. Level up with a touch of caviar. The duck here is more lean and crisp but I do think a little of fat adds to the flavour. Still good nonetheless. Had a soup (meh, especially for that price) and a Soft Shell Crab with Crab Meat (which was yums, creamy but not to the point of being jelak, guess it helped that we shared instead of having 1 each) and a refreshing petite fours of Osmanthus Jelly and Pineapple Tart. The complimentary birthday cake was delish too, reminded much of Ritz's Royal Caraibe from 20 years back. Dark bittersweet choc mousse on a layer of caramelised crunch. Service was top notch, attentive yet but imposing, always there but invisibly.

Very decent food generally. Interesting to have a Peking Duck (pretty good) here - 2 types of wraps and four condiments - sugar to start then choice of typical classic sweet sauce, Cantonese sauce and caviar. Note that one duck can have about 20 wraps. Their daily double-boiled soup is superb. One of the very few fine Chinese restaurants which places attention to decent plating and sophisticated service. Ambience is cosy and tables are spaced comfortably apart.

The best Chinese restaurant and best Beijing duck place I have been in Singapore. Especially 4 highlights : 1. Beijing duck skin is super crispy, really good balance oily and freshness feeling, eating with caviar is also new try 2. Dim sum like mushroom dumpling is the “game changer”... 3. Top class service “omotenashi” 4. Classic atmosphere. Will definitely visit again!

Decor and ambiance is traditional Chinese restaurant. Chairs are uncomfortable. Service is fast and friendly. A large menu as you would find in many Chinese restaurants. However, I felt the food was disappointing. It lacked taste and was bland. Even the signature Peking Duck was not impressive. Overall an average restaurant

Food was fantastic, way better than the dim sum buffet at cherry garden. Mee sua broth was exceptional. Would have been better if they replaced the chopsticks once. When I went to the toilet, the napkin could have been folded n the tea topped up. Will be back.

One of the best Peking ducks in town, served with caviar and premium services, just nice for 4 pax. Other dishes are on the pricier side, fried rice is about $16 per pax for a very small portion, suggest to just order white rice.

Lovely service . The Peking duck was one of the best in town , the caviar was a lift to the taste and complete every little parcel you put into your mouth. The skin was crispy and the meat was tender and juicy. The birdnest crab soup was very gentle and light , generous lump of bird nest and crab meat.Never add a single drop of vinegar the soup just wonderful on its own. The hot and spicy was on the other hand lack of original flavour. Only spicy nothing but spicy and boring . The few slice of lobster didn’t help to win a wow on the soup. The cod fish was succulent and nicely pan fried came with a light soya base sauce. The half braised lobster was fresh. The oxtail was delicious , I like the touch of lemon grass oil , gave me a familiar and interesting combination with the oxtail , you can smell it feel it but don’t taste it on the meat. The second done of the duck was stir fried with spring onion the taste was nice but the meat was in thick slices and tough return half the plate. Last signature lobster rice in superior soup the soup base was very good. The Ee fu noodle was bland . We did end it well with the egg white almond dessert the texture was just nice and smooth . Over all lot of effort done in their stock base and allowing all the fresh ingredient to blossom in their original taste without overpowering each other . The only disappointment was never get to taste the deep fried crab shell filled with crab meat.

(Translated by Google) Looking at the blog of a Singaporean resident, when I talked about Dimsum in Singapore, the name of Sheraton Li Bai or Shangri-La's Shang Palace is often mentioned, so I originally planned to go to one of those restaurants. However, due to time, this is on the 2nd floor of the accommodation. When I went around 12:30 (weekdays) without reservation, it was full. I was told to come at 1:30. The inside of the store is nice and dim. Although our table was not near the window, it was just right because the brightness from the window was added to this dimness at a position relatively close to the window. I ordered 4 kinds of dim sum, roast duck and stir-fried seasonal vegetables. I'm glad that you can choose between roast duck and chest or leg, and fried vegetables for cooking. Also, I am glad that Dim Sum can be ordered from one. Dim Sum is all delicate and impressive. And the beauty of the roast duck that has been carried. I have been overlooked for a while. When asked about the last order, I ordered the extra simplest but the most memorable crab dumpling. It was a very satisfying meal. We asked for chili sauce when eating dim sum, but this chili sauce was also special. It was so delicious that when you ask, it seems to be made after receiving an order (so wait a little until it comes out). Everyone in the shop is also kind and polite. I want to go again.

The best Beijing Duck I had in SG. Second dish can be made into soup. Reservation is required, and pre-order for the duck and soup have to be made in advance as well. Recommend to try the soft shell crab and white bait fish appetisers. Can skip the spinach egg which is too salty. As to the Lobster pao fan, meat seems over cooked so slight tough. The restaurant has strict attire requirements.

This is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to!!! They do NOT deserve a Michelin Star whatsoever! I am still shocked that such an extraordinary Four Seasons hotel or ANY Four Seasons hotel would allow for such a less than mediocre restaurant to reside anywhere near the Four Seasons. We came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and instead they made it very unpleasant. The service is poor and definitely not Michelin Star worthy. The chef did a horrible job with our food and our experience. The managers did nothing to correct their mistakes and make our experience more enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and never come here.

This was about the worst “fine dining” experience I’ve ever had! I can not understand how this restaurant has gotten a Michelin star?? Bad, tasteless and idealess food at less than mediocre quality level. The wine list is close to non existing: very small amount of wines and the ones they have aren’t good at all. They don’t even offer a wine pairing and do not have sommelier. The price is way too high for what you get. Honestly, if I went to a food court, I would have gotten much better food for less money. The manager asked for my opinion, which I gave her in all detail with loads of tips to improve. At the end I asked her to invest 1-2 minutes of reflection of she really wants to charge me $348 for what I got with the result that she did let me pay the full amount, invited me for a glass of terrible wine that I didn’t drink and asked me to come back the next time I would be in Singapore. No thanks, and you should not go either.

Tried this place as I was doing a staycation. if ambience and service helps you enjoy your meal, here's definitely the place. the plating and the service is good. taste-wise, its pretty common and similar to other hig end chinese cantonese restaurants. what has been engraved into our memory after this visit was: •三拼 (assorted meat of 3 types) at $24 •PH8 alkali warm water at $6 we wanted warm water and was expecting tall water glasses. was surprised to be given 2 alkali warm water bottles for us to pour into exquisite short glasses. for the assorted meat, there was 6 pieces of small meat (2 of each type at that price). definitely an eye opener cos the restaurant was full with many diners, just having their usual dinner for the day, like any other day.

Good food, Top notch service, Private and Cosy ambience! What more can you ask for? Thumbs up to the Prawns and Beef. Ingredients used are very fresh. Didn't have the chance to try the Peking duck as portion is too much for 2. Will definitely return again for the Peking duck. The staffs surprised me with a chocolate bday cake which taste really awesome. One of the nicest chocolatey cake I've tried. They mentioned this cake is their best seller! Definitely a 5/5 stars!

We originally came for peeking duck, but the waitress advised us that it would be too much food for the two of us, which I appreciated! We got one of the chefs menus instead. My favorite was the chili prawns and my least favorite was the fried rice, it just wasn't anything special compared to the other dishes. Service was great and they even set up a kids place setting for our baby, which was sweet, even though he is much too young for solid foods.

Food was mediocre for 198++/set. The soup was almost tasteless, lobster and noodles were too salty. Not sure how they got their Michelin star, and there are many other restaurants who serve much better Chinese restaurants here in Singapore. The only dishes that were good were the pork belly, and the chocolate dessert.

Braised pork belly was my favourite, other dishes are delicious but not worth the price paid, specially went for the sweet and sour pork which some articles claim is the best in Singapore. I think for $42++ I expected something more special, overall the ambience was really good and exceptional services. The Peking Duck, was served with caviar (something special), however we topped an additional $20 to request the duck meat to be cooked as Gongbao Chilli Duck but somehow the meat was reduced by a lot hmmm… all in all it was a good experience just not so value for money.

We celebrated the relaxation of covid measures on outside dining by having proper dim sum at this wonderful place. Might sound like im generalising but the truth is that everything was top notch; from the quality and taste of the food, cleanliness and safe distancing, and ultimately the service. There are other photos i would have shared here to demonstrate the latter but it is against my own privacy norms so i can only state that the attention to detail and effort to make our dining experience pleasant were unmatched. Things you normally would have to request in other places, in this restaurant u dont have to ask; almost as if they have an extra sense. Would definitely come again in future.

I visited here to eat Peking duck. I made a reservation through the application locally, and I could communicate my inquiries by e-mail. I was embarrassed when I was informed about the dress code, but I was able to enter the restaurant after asking for your understanding. I feel like I'm rushing the order a little, but it wasn't a problem. Perking duck is still as good as before, sweet and sour pork was a wow also. All was a Wow to the birthday girl whom was new to JNC. Most importantly, service is at its best. The portions and number of dishes were just right. I enjoyed the egg white vegetable $26 and abalone vermicelli $40. Total bill was $203, a reasonable price for the ambience, great food and attentive service. Would have been great if they accept paywave instead of only plastic or cash.

I guess if you want good food and good service you gotta pay for it. Well, we were served top notch Chinese New Year cooking with a wide range of ingredients ranging from exquisite to mundane but none done shabbily. It’s Lunar New Year and restaurants normally can’t cope with the crowds producing shoddy food and bad service. Jiang Nan Chun managed both superbly but then we had a private room to ourselves. The young Taiwanese hostess single-handedly waited on us, speaking confidently and politely in bilingual noting carefully the whims and fancies of the older ones amongst us. She’s like a breath of fresh air in our service-starved Singapore. Yee Sang was superb done with pomp and grandeur although it’s some tossed salad. I guess that’s what fun is all about. The lobster was definitely live fresh with the sweetest of stock where you gladly wipe clean off the plate. Spanish Suckling pig wasn’t but done Chinese style. Ahh..crispy skin with steam puff. Even the remnant of the piglet was sautéed koong pao style and tasted succulent. The six head abalone was firm with some shew served with equally firm sea cucumber. Heaven. I must say even the plain yee foo noodles was good. The only complaint was the hefty $50 corkage on each bottle which I think they should seriously reconsider barring CNY or not. If not and you’ve some serious money to burn, go for it.

Excellent food here, and you don’t need to order expensive dishes to enjoy yourself. The Phoenix Tail Kailan was beautiful and cooked just perfect. The supposedly humble lotus leaf glutinous rice got an upgrade with the insertion of abalone. But even with that, it was an outstanding dish compared to many others. Perhaps the main letdown was the petit fours they serve at the end. They are probably better off without it, so that we don’t end the meal on a disappointing note when all the other dishes were just perfect.

I started off with a negative review but am delighted that my second will be positive. This restaurant located in the Four Seasons Hotel in Singapore is truly one of the world’s great Chinese. Everything is pretty much world class. The menu is interesting and offers a range of options for Western and Chinese diners; not just the same old standard but a few unique dishes. The wine list is also interesting with a range of choices and for Singapore not excessively expensive.

The Peking Duck was as good as the hype though the caviar addition seems excessive / didn’t feel like it added too much value to the dish. - The salt and pepper duck meat (how we asked the remaining Peking duck meat to be cooked) was good but not as good as the Peking duck - The BBQ pork collar was very good – melt in your mouth yummy with the right texture and taste - Fish was good quality though nothing particularly impressive considering the price i.e. I expect something of this quality. Stir-fried veggie was surprisingly impressive – for a simple dish, it was cooked very well / very fragrant - Dessert: the red bean pancake was good though not spectacular. - Expensive / special occasion place. Good detail-oriented professional service.

Disappointed is all I feel from the expensive meal. As a Michelin star restaurant in Four Season Hotel, I have high expectation for everything. The deco is classy, but there is huge room for improvement for their service. The staff serves food without introducing, walk by without refilling the empty cups. Food wise, the crispy pork belly is excellent, everything else is mediocre.

Great Cantonese cuisine, incl. the Dim sum. (Some of the best I've had outside of Hong Kong and Canton)

Was here for food testing for a wedding. Food is good, service is awesome. The waitress who served us is very detailed to the core when she realised that my dad uses his left hand to eat she changed the position of the utensils. Its really a highly recommended place to eat good food at.

👍 This is my first attempt in this brand. Overall was fond of the experience and food presentation. One of the comforting pricing western fares in town. They have good Customer service, just that food needs improvement! They do serve us bread with butter (complimentary). We ordered quite a bit of th...
