I am a frequent customer and have been ordering from them for a couple of years. No longer in the future as there was a cockroach wrapped in my burrito. I have reported them to the food agency.

Food is expensive and bland. Also not value for money. It could be the cuisine, but the menu literally says "different ways to wrap some meat". While the interior looks like something out of wild west, seems like the food has not evolved too. While it is quite a nice place to chill and drink some beer, there is strong competition around

Delicious and authentic Mexican food. We went here to celebrate a birthday and it was a memorable experience. The tacos are deliciously filled with juicy and fresh vegetables as well as drizzled with beautiful spicy sauce. The nachos tasted amazingly crisp and fresh. The tanginess of the tomato salsa and the savouriness of the guacamole combine to form a flavourful nachos. They have unique dips and their fajitas are delicious as well. The ambience is calm and they have an efficient staff. It really feels authentic. Overall, a good place and restaurant to host parties and have a couple of drinks.

I recently visited this Mexican restaurant in Singapore, enticed by my girlfriend's recommendation. Being Mexican and hailing from Southern California, an area renowned for its authentic and flavorful Mexican cuisine, my expectations were naturally high. Unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming and frustrating. Firstly, the shredded beef taco, a staple in Mexican cuisine, was a letdown. The beef was bland, lacking any hint of the essential seasonings or marinades that are characteristic of Mexican beef preparations. This was quite a shock, as I've never encountered such flavorless beef in any Mexican dish before. Moreover, a significant error was made with my order. I specifically requested soft corn tortillas, a basic yet crucial element in authentic Mexican tacos. However, I was served tacos with hard shells. When I pointed out this mistake, the staff member argued that he had confirmed with me that I wanted hard-shell tacos. This was not only incorrect but also puzzling, as I have a distinct preference for soft corn tortillas, a detail my girlfriend can attest to as she was present and heard my order. What compounded the issue was the staff member's attitude. Instead of acknowledging the mistake and offering to correct it, he was dismissive and walked away without an apology. This lack of basic customer service and unwillingness to rectify a clear error was disappointing and, frankly, rude. Overall, my visit to this restaurant was far from the authentic Mexican culinary experience I had hoped for. The food lacked the fundamental flavors of Mexican cuisine, and the service was unsatisfactory. It's disheartening to see such a representation of Mexican food, especially in a cosmopolitan city like Singapore where culinary standards are generally high. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a genuine taste of Mexico, and I hope they take this feedback seriously to improve both their food and customer service.

One of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in Singapore. Ordered the Fajitas and Nachos. Quite a bit of heat in both from the green peppers. First the fajitas. The guacamole and sour cream cheese spreads were wonderful, each delivering different taste sensations. The beef was very tender and the dough wrap came warm and had a bit of chew. It soaks up the gravy well. The nachos were cracker crispy and went well with the cheese, bean and beef dip slathered generously over the nachos. Would have been happier if they give us more cheese. Price wise, not the cheapest but hey this is to be expected from a restaurant in Holland Village.

A nice Mexican restaurant / bar at Holland Village. Ordered quite a number of items from the menu but the two items that stand out the most was the Chimichanga (shredded chicken) and Fish Tacos! I highly recommend this place if you want a nice Mexican fix even though it can be a little pricey. A thing to note is that their Happy Hour currently applies everyday till 9pm.

Nice ambience but the seats are a bit far and noisy for talking. Ordered pulled pork chimichanga and some other chicken dish. The food is good, main dish priced about $14-$18, good portion.

The team is very nice and responsive. The tacos and quesadillas are not ok, they are missing Mexican spices and/or cilantro hence no taste. The chips, Guac and the jalapeños relleno was good. The patron Margaritas was a bit diluted but ok.

Great Margaritas with a daily happy hour till 8pm & perfect crispy Nachos with abundance in toppings! I met my delightful server again, Tina, who was from another restaurant before this. Almost immediately served us the moment she saw me & my husband. Haha! Service was fantastic even though the restaurant was full to the brim! (literally!) Food delivery was prompt too and even though they were busy, food quality didn't slide. Kudos to the kitchen team! "Boss"(thats wat Tina called him) was also busy serving customers with a smile always. I'd recommend starting with some mango or strawberry margaritas. Must order their chimichangas(beef is nicely seasoned) & the sizzling fajitas that was served on a hotplate. Do not leave the restaurant without trying their absolutely delightful Churros. After all, it is a Mexican restaurant. Will definitely come back again soon!

Food was unimpressive for the price paid. Limited amount if guacamole served for starters, as seen in the photos. Drinks were rather diluted. Music was quite loud, which was difficult to have conversations. Food was really pricey for the quality. Unlikely to return to try the other items on the menu.

Great place for Mexican food, wanted to try the honey wings but oos. Too hungry thus only manage to take 1 picture. It's a little noisy though. Not crowded when I reached at 6ish. There is also happy hour available.

It’s been many years since I’ve last been here. It’s a long standing establishment and the food did not fail me. Ordered the piñatas, chimichanga and calamari. Food was served fast and the server was very friendly. All the food ordered were tasty, filling and authentic. I’ll be back to explore the menu more.

Absolutely love the Mexican food here especially the Soup with the fresh seafood in it had the nachos with pulled pork which was amazing the enchiladas filled with beef and the set with taco and enchilada with beans on the side I added guacamole as well which was great! Definitely would recommend this! Though service is sometimes quite slow it’s still quite worth while

This place opens up at 11.30am, earlier than other lunch spots in the area. We decided on a mexican fiesta and as such, popped in for a quick fix and to our delightful surprise, we were not at all disappointed. My dish was about $19 before GST. It was fried chicken with loads of tomato sauce on it, with cilantro rice and nachos on the side. My friends had nachos and enchiladas. The flavours were good and the cilantro rice was so yummy. They didn’t skimp on the cilantro and the rice was cooked to perfection, every rice with that intense cilantro flavour. My chicken was fried to perfection, and it was juicy and moist. The serving size is generous for what you’re paying. The restaurant service was attentive, and I loved that they provided free iced water to patrons. Such should be the standard of more restaurants in Singapore. The decor was quaint and cute.

Came for afternoon tea on a weekend and it is empty! One of the best mexican restaurants town. Nice ambience, great tacos and the guac is freshly made. The staff even recommended us a slow-cooked pulled pork tacos that has yet to be on the menu! Will definitely be back.

I was celebrating my birthday with my 4 of my girlfriends at your restaurant. We were seated on the upper level of the restaurant and the sitting arrangement was very odd. I was very impressed with your manager Charles as he went all the way not only in finding us a different table but also making sure that we are looked after. Overall the food was excellent and so was his service

Had the shredded chicken bowl ($15) and we shared happy hour jugs of original and strawberry margarita ($40+ a jug). Decent place for a catch-up.

*Follow me @zenpickzeneats on Instagram for more food reviews! Tried: Pulled Pork Quesadillas, Mushroom Nachos, Tequila Honey Wings, Calamari Mexicano and Fish Tacos (not in photos) Comments: A Mexican restaurant that has been established for over 30 years at the same location, you can even call it one of the OG Mexican restaurants in Singapore. They have a wide variety of booze, as well as Mexican wraps, appetizers and mains. The pulled pork is soft, not too dry and well flavoured, however the pairing with guacamole and sauces can be better. Perhaps like incorporating the salsa and guacamole with the meat will be better than just separating them out. In this case the sour cream feels incompatible with the pork and the guacamole flavouring is too monotonous. The mushroom nachos is drenched with cheese and topped with salsa and mushrooms. The mushrooms give this dish a different crunch and also give it an earthy flavour to balance with the cheesiness. The zesty salsa also helps in balancing cheesiness making this dish well rounded in flavours. The tequila honey wings have a sweet coating with strong honey flavour but we can't really taste the tequila in it😅 The wings are tender and juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside. Overall they are good tasting wings. Calamari is quite average in my opinion, the batter is crispy not over fried and the calamari is not too rubbery. I feel that the batter seasoning can be better and the calamari can be softer. The fish meat in the tacos are cooked or steam and not fried like in most taco places. The fish itself is hardly seasoned or have bland seasoning and it relies on the salsa for flavour in the tacos. Taste:3/5 Presentation: 4/5 Value for Money: 2.5/5

I don't eat much mexican, but I really enjoyed my dinner here. Was difficult to choose from the menu but thankfully the staff were very helpful with their recommendations. The spring roll thingy was amazing, way better than it looks. I didn't know nachos can be served like that, the pulled pork one was good but wish there was more meat. Beef quesadilla was really good too, altho it looked really flat and sad, but it was actually very flavourful and filling. Fish tacos tasted quite interesting, I actually couldn't taste the fish at all which is a good thing. Oh and I love the guacamole and tomatoes and salsa ~ The downside is all the quesadilla/taco/XXX all looked and tasted very similar. But yea would come visit again! It tastes quite wholesome!

This is one of the better Mexican restaurants I've been to. There a good variety of food and drinks and you'll be able to find something for everyone. We ordered a burrito, pulled pork nachos (came with sour cream, Guacamole and Salsa), burrito bowl and quesadillas. They were all very well made. A great option for Mexican and good place for friends and family to hang out! Will visit again.

Cozy dinning area, drinks were good, food was not the best. My skin for the soft tacos were hard and tough to chew or even bite off. Guacamole seems to be lacking jalapeños…

I had the devil’s margarita and that was awesome! Even their house pour wines were fantastic. The star of this place - their Happy Hour! Their happy hour starts from 11:30am to 8pm!!! How cool is that! We had the vegetarian nachos as they were as good as nachos can get. The fish tacos were okay - not to my liking, perhaps it was a recipe thing. Overall, it was a good experience! Overall rating — 7.8/10

The food was awesome! Order the hard corn tacos cos it’s crispy! The flour tacos will be soft as it’s not fried 😀 portion is sufficient for sharing too. For 2 pax, we ordered 1 jug magarita Beef stew - the jalapeños were so good and beef so soft 🤤 it even comes with rice and tortilla to make your own taco! Chicken quesadilla Pulled pork taco 🌮 Churros 🍫 Sufficiently stuffed 😂

Chimichanga is great here! Try shredded beef one. Taco is also good, while cheese nacho is okay, the deep fried tapas is a bit dry. Overall a good choice for Mexican food!

Frankly cool interior and friendly staff but the food was...pretty dull. And the margharita as well could have been something more. Pretty disappointing

  • 5/5 Brandon S. 2 years ago on Google
Yummy margaritas, but can get very noisy sometimes cause of the blender and poor acoustics and echo. Come during non busy periods for optimal experience and get their margaritas.
