A hidden food gem in the tech park. Simple store that serves the ultimate comfort food. Really amazing porridge for the price - silky texture, a combination of flavorful ingredient, light on pallet. What's more, the staffs are friendly and the service is fast. Great destination for a quick lunch.

The signature empress porridge is tasty and value for money. I like that they use a mix of white and brown rice for their porridge because #healthyliving . I also enjoyed the fact that they included dried shrimp in their porridge as well. Gave it a nice umami flavour.

Ordered their Normal Porridge Set which come with 1x porridge, 1 sides/dessert and 1 drink. I choose prawn paste chicken as my side and iced lemon tea as my drink. Service by staff was fast and food arrived at my table moments later. Food presentation look appealing to me and the porridge tasted delicious. All of these for a total cost of $7.80 is a value for $$. Will be back next time to try out their other stuffs on the menu.

The staffs provided excellent service! They served me rose tea after I sat down and when I was ordering at the counter the staff explained to me that there was a set available which will make my meal more worth it. I ate the Hainanese Curry Chicken Rice and it was healthy and tasty! It's cooked with brown rice, crispy Chicken Cutlets and flavorful curry sauce. The carrot cake was tasty and I also highly recommend the dessert that was made with genko seeds, barley and beancurd as the consistency of the dessert was fantastic.

The food here is really very affordable. I really love the chicken scallop porridge and they were really very generous with their ingredients. The century egg complements well with the porridge and adds a nice flavour. The glutinous rice is also well flavoured and soft with a few crispy ikan bilis. There is also a complementary rose tea served for free. The tea had a light soothing fragrance which cleared my palette I will really come back to this place with my friends again!

Visited last week and tried their daily special menu as well as their signature porridge (but of course!). The porridge texture was silky and smooth, and tasted healthy and wholesome with well-balanced flavours. The show-stealer, however, would definitely be the claypot chicken rice - soft and tender chicken with rich flavours. Would definitely go again for the daily special!

I went during lunch hour and it was packed in that tiny place. The signature scallop empress porridge comes in 2 sizes and is very flavourful. Despite the lunch hour crowd, the staffs are very friendly and would patiently explain the menu and set lunch. Did I mentioned the prices are affordable too? Would want to return and try other dishes!

Tried the signature Empress Porridge, Braised Pork Rice and Pork Knuckle beehoon. Food was hearty and worth the buck. Would certainly recommend to friends.

The empress porridge is very flavourful! It’s packed with plenty of ingredients and definitely a must try in the shop. The set option comes with a side, dessert and a cup of tea. I like that their food comes in the option of small bowls which I get to try several dishes in one go. I am certain that I will return again!

Actually really good food for decent prices.

Despite the name, Empress Porridge serves a variety of other tidbits and sides, and has a daily special that rotates through the week. Porridge is flavourful thanks to dried shrimp and scallops, though the use of brown rice may put some off. The Hainanese curry rice served on Thursday deserves a mention too, thick curry gravy slathered on top of a generous chunk of fried pork fillet.

Highly recommend Empress Porridge for anyone looking for a hearty and affordable meal! Their signature porridge was really flavourful and the portion was really generous. Truly yummy in the tummy! :)

Highly recommend Empress Porridge! Went there with my colleagues and we all agree that the food portion is very generous! The price are really reasonable and most importantly, the food are yummy! All of them are my favourites and it’s so difficult to choose one only. It will be awesome to go with a group of friends so you can try more of the yummlicious food!

Hearty and yummy! Perfect for a meal where I felt full but not icky afterwards. Tried the brown rice empress signiture porridge, pear soup and tau suan desert. I ordered small portions, but it was still really filling:) really homely and healthy feels. 1 advice would be to share with a friend, so you'd get to try more items with each other.

Not bad nice food and affordable

Nice food! had the fried rice with 2 large pieces of har cheong gai, which tasted like a hearty home-cooked lunch. Staff were also friendly and recommended many other items like local desserts. Definitely worth a visit!

Had braised pork rice, pork knuckle bee hoon, signature porridge and some local desserts! Simple but heartwarming meal. Would recommend to those seeking home-cooked food!

The food is good especially for people who prefer light meal with variety. I had a chicken porridge which was quite smooth and tasty. The black glutinous rice desert blended perfectly for my dinner.

Was looking for a quick, easy and healthy option for dinner and found empress porridge. Porridge was nice but the beef stew really surprised me!

Disappointed with the Empress Porridge. ($5.80) Porridge was not serve hot. Kinda salty. Was expecting more from their house specialty. Popiah was served charred.

Really love the porridge here as its very flavourful and the portion $5.50 is just right. Its abit pricey compared to normal kopitiam porridge but its flavourful and healthy (with brown rice) definitely worth the price with the ingredients used!! And the carrot cake is great as well :)

Ordered home delivery. Food is not up to expectation, utterly disappointed.The pig Trotter bee Hoon is super salty can’t even eat it. The honey pork chop is tasteless and the pork very hard doesn’t taste like honey pork at all. The ginseng chicken was still acceptable though it was very oily. Disappointed

It has been a week since I started their tingkat service. Absolutely no regret. Owners are very helpful, courteous and accommodating to customer request. Food taste yummy, nice variety and use good ingredients (and I was told the owners eat the same food too). Best of all, the owners will try to use minimal disposable containers (especially the soups are delivered in insulated jar). Hence I’m now buying my own insulated containers, tiffin carrier & etc. So looking forward to my weekday dinners.

Signature porridge and pork knuckle bee hoon are very very tasty. Lots of ingredients and great value for money. Stirred fried porridge comes off a little too salty / sharp for me. I prefer my porridge to have less sodium to taste more nourishing. Would come back to try other items on menu though!

Very good and tasty porridge!

I was feeling really sick during my workday, and I think nothing could have made me feel better than walking to Galaxis for some home-cooked porridge. The mixed grain rice was robust and piping hot while the broth was smooth and not overwhelming despite being very flavourful. Although the you tiao was a bit hard, I enjoyed it with the porridge soup. Glad to have come here and would visit again!

Wow what a surprising lunch location. Really good porridge and their other dishes are quite good too.

They have a variety of great food. An example would be a simple cabbage rice with its tasty braised meat. It also came with the crispy shrimp paste chicken and the black glutinous rice desert, which I must say, goes very well with the cabbage rice. Overall, the food gave me a very satisfying "Home-made" feel.

Had been visiting this place ever since their opening. Love their food though the price is at a higher side. Homecook Hainamese style in healthier version (brown rice used even for porridge). Their customer service very good too. First time trying their Hainamese curry rice. As good as all the rest on menu. Hehe
