Although not the cheapest hor fun around, it definitely is one of the best one I have tried. At $6 a plate, it definitely is worth the price! πŸ‘πŸ» What intrigues me was that it was pre-cooked.. The person taking your order apparently preps your dish based on your order, while the chef cooks and prepares the ingredients in the kitchen. Intelligent ordering system that doesn’t err as it doesn’t get passed down the chain, though this is efficient only if the queue is long enough to keep the food hot. Taste wise, Wokhey was done superbly on the noodles, prawns were really fresh, and the cabbage adds a good texture and taste to the overall goodness πŸ˜‹ will definitely be back for more!

Overrated and not worth queuing. Stall always open much later than 10am and a line would have already formed when it opens. Uncle will slowly take his time to cook the horfun. Everything else, including the ingredients and sauce, are precooked. At $6, the ingredients are meagre (very few pieces and thinly sliced) and not fresh (eg. prawns are the frozen kind). The chap serving customers was very polite and friendly but took his own sweet time to count the number of ingredients and slowly put them on the plate. It seems like they purposely make the customers wait so as to build up the hype.

Was passing by this stall and the wok hey smell very strong. Even after eating the Tom City noodles and 63 Laksa, decided to a package home for lunch. Noticed that the hor fun and the ingredients were cool separately. Even the gravy is pre-cooked and placed in a slow cooker. Was a bit skeptical about the flavour. I was surprised when I ate the hor fun with prawns and fish. It was damn good. The wok hey elevate the whole taste. Good job from the cook.

You can truly taste the wok hey in the horfun! And the beef and fish was so fresh! But too bad the gravy is pre cooked and poured on top. If it was hotter would have been perfect. But overall really good wok hey taste!

Noodles are perfectly cooked with a slight wok hey taste , without any charred lumps/clumps that you may sometimes see with other Hor fun. Beef is tender and the sauce is delicious. Worth the wait despite the long queue

Very friendly owner. Hor fun was good with wok hey taste. Beef and fish were fresh and tasty. Had to queue for 10min at 1pm on a Saturday. But worth it. Yummy!

Based on my order of fried beef hor fun, I expected a plate of dark brown fried dried version. I're pleasantly surprised! The colour of the hor fun was the white version and covered in wet gravy. The dark brown stuff seen in the photo was actually beef and not the hor fun itself which was white. Yes, the gravy was ready prepared and warmed continually inside an electric heated clay pot. Ingredients like the beef and bok choy were also ready prepared. The only item cooked probably on the spot was the hor fun noodle. When I collected my finished order, frankly, I had real low expectations. But shortly after digging into the dish, I must say, don't let its appearance fool you. The beef was correctly cut cross-grained and so tender and nice, not chewy at all. The white hor fun noodle was just as fantastic, with good wok-hei to boot. The gravy and bok choy were to expectations. Total $6. Although there was a queue of customers, about 8 to 10 pax, the waiting time was approximately 10 minutes.

Will definitely come back to eat this again! The hor fun has a strong wok hey taste and the beef is so tender and saucy!! Prawns are big and has a good snap to it. It stands out so prominently among all the hor funs I have eaten. 10/10 recommend. Dish: Fried Hor Fun with Beef and Prawn ($5)

Passed by this legendary beef horfan stall in Ghim Moh, decided to try the beef and fish combo horfan. Was very impressed by the wok hei and the sauce of the horfan. Pretty long queue for a weekday. Prepare to wait in line for at least 10 mins. But definitely worth the effort to queue. Very reasonably priced as well. Boss was very friendly too. Highly recommended if you are around the area.

The best fried hor fun that I hv tried. Excellent in every components inside, esp.the aromatic hor fun. Beef is also very tender and tasty. Worthy for 6 SGD. Friendly hawker staff. Long queue for sure, in average need at least 15-20 min during lunch time

Hor fun sold out at 11:30 and they offer rice. But this portion at 6 dollars, quite pathetic

Taste and smell the β€œbreath of the wok” (wok hei) in this delicious hor fun! Beef (and other ingredients) and gravy is prepared before hand and poured over. Still super nonetheless! Long queue expected.

No doubt one of the better Hor fun stalls in Singapore. There is plenty of wok hey in the noodles. The portion of the beef is generous and is very tender and jucicy. Interesting way of serving the food is that they are all cooked seperately. So they will put the hor fun first followed by the beef and the sauce followed by vegetables and lastly the hor fun sauce.

Smoky wok hei hor fun with a good portion of sliced fish. $6. Expect a long queue during lunch.

Simply delicious! The hor fan had a good wok hei texture & taste. Overall, the combination of fresh sliced fish, hor fan & the gravy made this dish really flavourful. It's worth making a trip down.

Enjoyed a satisfying dish of 牛河, generous on the 粉, which comes with a good dose of β€œι•¬ζ°”β€ (wok hei), as well as the beef slices. A simple dish, but one done well that’s simply delightful! πŸ‘πŸ»

The horfun is tasty with loads of wokhey, certainly a heart meal bursting with different flavours. Queue may be abit long but it does make up for the long queue with the delicious taste.

Definitely one of the better beef hor fun in SG, the wok hei is strong, beef is tender, rest of the ingredients are also fresh, a good choice of beef hor fun if you can queue for 30 mins.

i ordered the beef and fish hor fun ($6). Hor fun had an extremely strong wok hei, the strongest one I've ever encountered. Queue can be long at times but it moves very quickly as it is cooked in batches. Good portion and worth the queue!

Tasty Hor Fun with wok hei. However, it seems like its beef option is the best, unlike the shrimp and fish. The shrimp and fish don't taste as good, and they give specific number of pieces (not many). Understand it is considered pricey based on the older reviews, but if the price sticks to $6 at the current date, I would consider it reasonable. Waiting time is reasonable too. Although the queue is long, it clear pretty quickly as they are very systematic in their process.

Went for a late lunch at 1.30pm and there was no queue at all. Fast service and the boss was very friendly and chatty while I waited for my food to be served. The noodles are fried separately before the gravy is poured over. Really great hor fun and the wok hei is excellent. Ingredients are fresh and generous too. Prices have increased to $6 though, but worth it for the quality of the food served.
