We were excited to visit the museum after getting complementary tickets to the three exhibit due to MBS Elite perks, but I was very disappointed by the staff's behaviour. As a local, I felt like they treated me and my partner differently from the foreign visitors. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful to the white couple who entered before us, greeted with gusto and full enthusiasm "hello sir how can I help you" and proactively attend to their needs. But when it was our turn, he barely looked at us and seemed bored. He didn't even offer us anything and told us to go ahead. It was like he didn't want us there. Another instance was when we were at the LED lights section, there was a white mother with her son who was taking a lot of pictures and blocking the view. A staff member came over and helped them take more pictures, even suggesting different poses and angles. He then told us to move along and make space for others, without offering us the same service. He didn't even smile or apologize.I felt like the staff were biased and rude to us, even though we are of the same race as the staff. It was very upsetting and ruined our experience. I don't think I will visit this museum again, or recommend it to anyone. It's a shame, because the exhibits were actually quite unique and somewhat deep.

Love this artful light museum, both kids and adults enjoyed so much of it. Get tickets online is recommended to avoid the queue. We only visited the Future World, but it took us 2 hours... Lots of activities inside, you can color your own sea animal or vehicle, then scan your drawing with onsite scanner, then your creation will pop up on the sea/city on screen. The kids enjoyed games with interactive lights. Good place to hangout after lunch to avoid the hot sun.

The ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands is an architectural marvel, seamlessly blending creativity and innovation. Its unique lotus-inspired design captivates from afar. Inside, diverse exhibits merge art and science, offering immersive experiences that transcend traditional boundaries. The thoughtfully curated displays, from interactive installations to thought-provoking galleries, cater to all ages. The museum's commitment to exploring the intersection of art and science creates an enriching journey for visitors. This is a must-visit cultural gem when in Singapore.

It was quite fun experience to visit Future World exhibition at Art Science Museum with family. Had a little bit of fun interacting with the "intelligent" lights. My favorite is the last attraction at the end...amazingly beautiful lights glitters.

I wish there was more to see, because the stuff I did see was incredible! It is definitely what it claims to be - an Art+Science museum that sparks curiosity and interest in people by giving knowledge and wisdom a sense of fun. A great place to be.

We came on a Friday when the child enters with paying adults . It worked well for us . This is an amazing museum. I would recommend the exhibition when arts meets science since is the most interactive one . The adults had as much fun as the children . Buy the tickets online and go straight to the exhibition. Internet everywhere . The building has internet and nice restrooms . All very clean and organized . Loved it !!

Such a wonderful place to explore with our family outings and spend some good informative time at this place , especially for children. Situated opposite to the garden Bay mall and the top floor mini theatre is for science education movies playing for sometimes about global issues, such a wonderful place to taught about science exhibition and education purposes in the same places . Visit it before 5 PM to explore more because 6PM is closing time . Try to visit once if you have children who is science 🔭 enthusiastic. Spend some quality time at this place .

We visited the Future World exhibition. This had a number of visually stunning installations, often with mesmerising interactive elements. Some parts were more focused on children, but even these were a joy to marvel at for the bigger ones. Only drawback was the price, which was quite high in comparison to other musea

A nice museum with exciting exhibitions to spend the day, have been a frequent visitor to the different seasonal exhibitions. Nighttime surrounding is so beautiful and enjoyable for a stroll. Recommend to visit during Singapore Night Festival if you love night scenery photo taking.

Fun and interactive for young and old. The exhibits are well placed and interesting. The staff are also friendly and helpful. Especially the staff manning the exhibits, they are very nice and explain well. The future world exhibition has more kids and families since there are more things for younger kids. VR and sound exhibition are interesting too but for older youths. Wouldn’t mind visiting again to look at everything more carefully.

Amazing place that I love. Looking at the aquarium digitally, it turns out that we can draw there and make many sea animals into what we paint. There is also a play area full of the variety of today's cities, suitable for children or couples who are visiting. You can also run stairs that are full of colorful colors so that you have a very romantic perspective. The closing path is at the door on the left with a very unique glass path feature full of light and light. This is how to see amazing Art Spotlight.

It's such a wonderful experience. This is a place where art meets science, creating incredible things. Kids, especially, can enjoy it the most. Although feels like 30$ little bit expensive compared to other places. But highly recommended if you're visiting Singapore.

Good for families with kids. Lots of interactive exhibits for the kids. Especially loved the aquarium bit. Good for a quick visit as it shouldn't take more than 2 hours. Unfortunately my phone battery died by the time we entered and hence, no photos from the inside of the museum. If you have kids, this is a must visit.

“It’s A Great place to check out for exhibitions and spend time with family . Bought tickets to 3 showcases future world, virtual realms orchestra maneuverers . Future world was quite a interactive and fun despite the smaller scale than Tokyo. The virtual realms with a bit disappointing, I expected it to be more interactive and to bring out the VR element.

This was such a cool experience! We were able to walk to this from the Marina Bay Sands hotel and get our tickets easily. Inside they had lots of exhibits along with temporary ones. We got to experience the Attack on Titan exhibit and the Future Worlds exhibit. They were both very well done and we had a great time. Ended up spending more time than initially planned, because of how great it all was.

This has been such an amazing experience, that I recommend to everyone who either comes with kids or who is ready to let her/his inner child out. Every room of the Futures' exhibition was a highly interactive, sensual experience that invited everyone in the room to partake. It is an immersive experience, where motions change lighting, animations, imagery in the room. (A must go for families)

Visited all three exhibitions in 2-3 hours. It was a Sunday so there were a bit of crowd but it still wasn't too bad at all. I would recommend giving yourself 4-5 hours instead as there were lots of activities and exhibits to wander around. We had a great time interacting with different elements! Tickets are available for individual exhibitions but you could get the Museum Ticket, which allows entry to a few exhibitions, for a better deal. Personally would recommend the Future World if you only have time for one. There's a bright and busy cafe at the entrance of the museum which makes for a good break in between the exhibitions. Definitely visit if you can!!

What a fantastic Museum! We had so much fun exploring all the exhibitions. We saw Future World, Mars and New Eden. There’s so much to see and do, especially with all of the interactive arts. Everything was incredible and magical. Highly recommend to do in on a Rainy Day, it leaves you time to see everything because you won’t feel rushed to go back outside.

The Art & Science Museum Building is quite unique and artistic. The location is amazing and the sights from outside and inside are both lovely. We had visited an Art show which was well Organized. The check in process was quite smooth and it was nice to walk around inside. The building is well designed and well ventilated. The cafe inside is also nice. The views of the museum from outside look amazing.

The permanent exhibition is really fun! Annoyingly some of the instructions are at the end of the exhibition, especially on the first one: Poke the butterflys on the walls and see what happens. Stand still on front of the waterfall and see what the water does. What happens if you touch the waterfall? We loved the live drawings of fish and town/space things. Be sure to make your pictures standout!

We visited the ArtScience museum for the Mars exhibition, and it was pretty interesting. The exhibit focused on humanity’s changing perception of Mars, from ancient times to science fiction days to today’s view of it as a possible habitat. The exhibit wasn’t bad—the artwork, exemplars of texts and video concepts were well done, however, it is an exhibit that would be boring for kids, and that is mostly applicable to history. The end of the exhibit is really nice though, with the current astronomical actions taken on mars.

The 2.2km broadwalk offers gorgeous views of both the sunrise and sunset. If you reach at 6.45pm to The sunset broadwalk, you can see the contrasting colours of the evening sky, with the sun disappearing into the distant horizon. Nice environment, cool breeze, and so peaceful, you will see the awesome sunset.

The name of the place says it all, a high-tech, immersive digital art installation - Future World! It’s such a great day for a family day out without sweating so much on running with a kiddo since it’s an indoor place. My boy just loves the place because of its interactive activities like the slide, sketch area, which is actually cool because you can see your own artworks on the wall and then there's light balls (big sizes and a small one good for toddlers). And they have this LED light room that feels like you are surrounded by stars. Thanks to the lovely staff, they are really good with kids. Definitely will come back here 🥰

Nice modern museum that’s a 2 minute walk from Marina Bay Sands. The architecture is nice to look at and is surrounded by a beautiful lily pond with fishes and other insects/small animals that could live in the ecosystem. There were 3 exhibits going on, and each was about $21 for adults. Slight discount if you bundle the options and wish to visit 2+ exhibits. Staff were friendly and helpful in explaining how the tickets work and helping us decide on which one to visit. We decided on the Future World: Where Art Meets Science exhibit, which is the permanent and most popular exhibit there. Most of the pieces were interactive and many were children-friendly. Overall we were a bit underwhelmed. It felt like the exhibit was lacking depth - it took us around 20-30 minutes to finish and we were surprised when we had already reached the end. Took some cool photos, but that’s about it. Would recommend for families as the kids there looked like they were having lots of fun. Or if you’re visiting MBS and bored of shopping. Maybe the other exhibits are more value for money, and they have new exhibits rotating in throughout the year so it could be worth checking out the new ones.

Unreal experience. Made me inspired on the frontiers of where Art and Science in ways that are way out of the box. As we grow up in a digital age, experiences like this help to show the new reaches of science and inspire kids to see the beauty of it through their digital native perspective. We felt immersed into the building itself, shaping its story and being a part of it. Would highly recommend this for anyone both living in Singapore or visiting.

Was unable to see the whole place. Went for a Short VR show- 20 minutes on cells based on a Japanese folk tale. Good but not impressive. They keep changing content every 6 months. The promenade and lily pools outside are fantastic. It is also a favourite place for cycling. The nearby shopping arcade is attractive. All big brands are there.

Future World-Where arts meet science. 1st gallery 6m long digital waterfall is from floor to ceiling. This digital waterfall will have different seasons of flowers 💐. For example cherry blossom, sunflower 🌻. Suggested take time to take different flowers and pose differently may be sit down, back to back, laying down... Sketch gallery, ready draw outline of different animals for you to use crayon to colour it. Colourful giant ball pit is fun for kids and adults Crystal Universal, magic flashing lights, comes in blue and pink lights. Today is Tuesday never expected to be crowded. Luckily we go in around 1pm+ not that crowded. But around 15:30 onwards suddenly there's a long queue of entering as we sat on bench while waiting for rain stopped. .

Went here on Friday evening to take advantage of the Family Friday offer. We visited the Star Wars identities exhibition and had a great time. We booked tickets online earlier that day for 19.30. On arrival we had to check in and were sent to level three via a huge lift. On level three we were given temperature checks and given clear instructions on safety. It is refreshing to be somewhere where it is clear and precise. The exhibition was fantastic. Lots to see and read. There are also many short videos to watch with sound pods above where you have to stand. The sound isn’t great and you have to stand on a very specific spot, many of which were not very clear. I think the spots just need renewing. The interactive parts were fun for the children, although some were a little tricky for my six year old to understand the questions. I really loved the art work, outfits, props and models. We spent 1.5 hours here from 19.30-21.00 when it closed! I think we could’ve taken slightly longer but in my opinion, 1.5 hours was about right. At the end there is a small gift shop. Not a huge variety and I did expect a bit more, but some good posters, books and t-shirts. The lady at the gift shop was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this to any Star Wars fan! Don’t miss out as it is only in Singapore until June!

Great experience! The ticket is affordable and the museum was fun. The star wars museum took us about 1hr 15mins to finish with many picture taking and interactive moments. Whereas the future world museum took about an hour, good for picture taking as well. Recommended to go in groups to have someone take picture for you :)

Loved the experience yet again. Have been here multiple times. Total fun place for kids and adults. Very engaging. Can spend 2-3 hours with kids too. It continues to evolve. The new attraction this time was Future World, where you can color aeroplane, butterflies and make them appear on a bigger screen! It's cute, the building itself seems to be the most exciting part. The exhibition is more suited toward kids, with quite a few interactive displays, quite exciting for kids, but as an adult, I've seen way more interesting science-art shows and this left me underwhelmed. If it were cheaper, I wouldn't mind, but I spent $30 for the two shows they had and one was for trainers, with 90% of it being just Nike. Very underwhelming, should have been free since it was mainly promotion. The best part is the outside space which is free :)

Art and science museum building is itself a showpiece of art with its flower shaped building. It has multiple exhibitions, i went to the future world exhibition. Inside, there are different types of activities that are enjoyable, especially if you have children with you. Aerial Climbing through a Flock of Colored Birds is one of them with paddle crossing, which gives you the effects of flying in between the herds of birds. Also, there are drawing papers where you draw the animal with your name written on it, and that goes live after the scan.

A fun place for kids. There are several exhibitions inside like The Future World, Mars Mission, etc. Make sure you experience all. Visit early in the morning to avoid crowds. They have a cafe in the entrance and souvenirs in the exit. A good place to spend time with kids. It usually takes an hour to complete an exhibition, where you can draw and exhibit on the big screens. Of course It's an arts and science museum lah!

Mars exhibition was very informative but not particularly kids friendly. It also had quite a bit of unnecessarily eerie music which made the effect of making things creepy rather than mysterious and intriguing. Interesting compilation of info for those who are already informed but I doubt it will make newcomers to the subject really want to explore more. A wasted chance to inspire the younger generation.

  • 4/5 Kailash Kumaran B. 4 years ago on Google
The building as such is an amazing structure. The different exhibitions inside the museum is focused on particular group of enthusiasts and is not for everyone. For example not everyone is interested in spending money and time to look at numerous aisles of Disney related stuff. The place is probably more interesting to kids and children.

I had already seen the Future World exhibition last year, which was really enjoyable. So, this time I went to see 2219: Futures Imagined. Felt disappointed with the exhibition. The featured topic was interesting but most of the art works were not engaging. I would gladly recommend anyone to visit the museum and see the Future World exhibition but NOT 2219: Futures Imagined.

A museum where art and science meet. There's exhibits that cover interactive creativity, futurism, disney animation, and more. I had an interesting time, but did not feel myself compelled to stay and meander for hours. The Singapore 2219 was intriguing, but not much more. Worth a visit as it's a unique museum, much more fun if visiting with others.

Great range of exhibitions. Currently running a Disney Animation one which is great! I would recommend starting with future worlds 2219 as we finished with this and left the museum on a bit of a down note. It was very interesting, an important message but it was quite depressing.

This museum is so cool! Very photo worthy. Aesthetically pleasing for all the instagram lovers who wanna come for a good pic. It’s art + science concepts combined but really just a pretty place in my opinion. Lots of children and kids around. Must see if in Singapore. You can spend around an hour here.

Excellent place for families to visit! You will see science museum s and art museums in many awesome cities. But, a museum which art and science is rare for sure. They do with amazing twist. The coolest part is to view your 2D drawing coming to life. If you draw a car on paper, it turns into a 3D car, picks up a road and starts moving in projected city. Plane chooses air route! Kids just love this place ❤️

(Translated by Google) The architecture of the museum in the shape of a lotus flower is wonderful. The same can no longer be said of the exhibition. Unless you want to make a beautiful photo with the lights. That's what we did, since the exhibition itself didn't attract us that much. I believe it is more interesting for children. The experience we had in the part where the lights are was VERY fast. There was a limit on the number of people who could enter the place, and the time was also controlled. We were only able to stay there for a few minutes. Luckily we were the last in line, so I was able to take a photo with the lights in the background without other people around.

Very interactive and sufficient precautions in times. Exhibition is quite little and will take around 2h maximum for both exhibits (2219 Futures Imagined and Future World where Art Meets Science). The latter exhibit is more for camwhores and basic pics while the former is more thought provoking.

My favorite museums. This museum has revolving roving exhibitions that change regularly with a theme on interactivity, science and arts. I’d highly recommend y’all to enroll in the Sands Rewards Lifestyle programme, sign up as a member and enjoy the exhibitions. You’ll be back again and again for the stimulation you get.

I liked it as a day out when you're stressed with work. I tried only Future world and VR Gallery, but there are others too like Exhibition Gallery, Virtual Realms Video Games, Orchestral sounds n all, each floor or exhibition is ticketed entry where it has to be booked online.

Has permanent and limited galleries. It's useful to see the permanent ones especially the plastic waste exhibition. Limited galleries are great too. It's interesting to see what the museum comes up with every so often :) Also the staff at the front desk are really helpful. They can be a little slow at times, but they get the job done ✅

Loved the Attack on Titan Exhibition experience! Merchandise is very pricey at the gift shop but that is to be expected. Thank you for bringing in this awesome show! Was in awe seeing the original panels and set up. Good flow to the exhibition.

Great exhibitions! I dearly love the Future World. It comes with complimentary access to the canvas at the mall (The Shoppes at MBS). The time limited Attack on Titan Final Exhibit is a must see for fans ~

Our five year old loves this hands on museum! She didn’t get bored and all of us were able to get our creative juices flowing! We spent about two hours and we didn’t feel rushed, you can take your time I each exhibit and probably spend 3-4 hours easily! Worth the money and the experience is one to remember in Singapore!

I kind of had different expectations for this place but it was so different. I was thinking art and science museum, but it turns out it's an art museum displayed using science. More like technology but you get the idea. I was kind of amazed at what they are doing and the coolness of the visual aspect and that art can exist in so many different forms. I saw only the main exhibit " future world" and decided to skip the sneaker exhibit and the sight and smell one. Pretty expensive but I guess if you are a tourist you can probably see it and especially if you have kids probably they will enjoy

We went to the Sensory Odyssey: Into the Heart of the Living World exhibition and really liked it. It's pretty cool you feel like you are surrounded by nature. You can smell nature around you. The visuals and sound are really spectacular too. It's best if there aren't a lot of people, especially noisy kids. An exhibition like this needs to be experienced and noisy people will take away from that experience. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Fun place and interesting. Thought will be more suitable for younger kids but my teenagers enjoyed themselves too. Lucky public holidays not too many people.

Tickets are sold out but fortunately still able to get tickets from 3rd party vendor, which honestly puzzle me. It’s a good experience for kids and adults alike. My son spent hours inside without getting bored.

As an avid art lover, I recently had the opportunity to visit the ArtScience Museum in Singapore. An architectural marvel in itself, the museum leaves visitors in awe with its striking resemblance to an intricately crafted Buddha palm. What truly sets this attraction apart, however, is the mesmerizing nighttime multimedia lighting, which adds a captivating touch to the overall experience.

It is a nice place located in the Bay Area where you can spend time with your family and enjoy They have combined art with futuristic technologies to create visuals and interactive patterns with which children, along with their parents, can enjoy I will definitely recommend visiting There is a slot that needs to be booked separately where you have to select the date and timings of your visit

This was one of my favourite places in my trip to Singapore. We only got to try 2 exhibits since the rest were sold out. We tried the Sensory and the Sneakertopia Experience. Both was very nice. The first one was about nature and how they put it is a bit disturbing but amazing. The next one displays a lot of sneakers as well as art. Overall this place was very very nice.

Visited the ArtScience Museum on weekday. I reached here relatively early in the morning before the crowds come in during the afternoon. There is is the Sensory Odyssey exhibition which features an interesting perspective about nature. There is also the exhibition by TeamLabs which is really interactive. Do go early as it gets crowded really quickly. Upstairs, there is also a sneaker exhibition which is pretty interesting if you are into shoes. Staff members are friendly as well and they will inform you about interesting exhibits too! Overall, a pretty relaxing museum experience.

My family and I visited the Art Science Museum and got the Museum Ticket which gave us entry into all 3 exhibitions. We all enjoyed the sensory exhibit and the Future world exhibition. Whether you have kids or are adults, you'll definitely enjoy the museum and it's worthwhile visiting. If you want to get the Museum Ticket, I'd recommend getting to the museum early or booking online to avoid missing out.

The building is very beautiful. We went to see the "Sensory Odyssey" exhibition and loved it. It really was a pleasure to see how much especially the children around us enjoyed discovering nature.

So much to see and do even in just one exhibit! You can definitely spend the whole day here if you visit all the museums. I recommend booking tickets ahead of time as when we arrived to collect out tickets we noticed signs stating the museum tickets were sold and and future wild exhibit was also sold out, such an immersive art experience too! A lot to be done for kids and family alike

Museum is situated just beside Marina Bay Sands entry. I was excited about the attraction but did not find it great. For kids prospective, yes they can have a good time here but nothing much for the adults. Kids can color few drawings, scan and see those on the screen, few games and slids for the kids. Overall good experience for Kids but i found it waste of time and money for the adults.

Aesthetically beautiful building. Great place for kids. The exhibits were interesting. You can see everything in 1 hour or less. I wish there was more to see, the museum was smaller than I expected. Nonetheless a good place to escape the heat for a little.

Future world is highly recommended for Children to have fun - interactively. You may skip Science fiction as kids would feel bored. Best to book slots online through Marina Bay website. In case not, you can always randomly walk in without appointment. Waiting will be 5-10 min.

Two fantastic exhibitions. Especially loved the Sensory Odyssey into nature. A great place for the young. But perhaps a little more seating for us older folk who can't so easily sit on the floor!

Great experience! I had an amazing experience in FUTURE WORLD: Where Art Meets Science. No hassle going in, collections are worth the dime, and you get to immerse yourself into the experience as well.

What a gem of a museum. This was a recommendation from a friend. We arrived late in the day and had no issues with walking in and buying tickets from the counter. Saw the Future World: Where Art meets Science exhibit. It was one of the best I have been to in a long time. The exhibit suited all age groups, it was interactive, fascinating and awe inspiring. From watching butterflies and flowers dancing across the walls to being hidden amongst them. You could colour a marine picture, scan it and watch it zoom across the giant aquarium backdrop screen or walking across coloured planks like you were in a treehouse. There was even a chance to fly your own plane across the screen. The crystal lights were my favourite. Definitely a must see when visiting Singapore.

I had a great time at the ArtScience Museum: -The Virtual Reality experience was mind blowing, with a great story that makes us question our relationship with Earth. It lasts about 30 minutes, and will be taken in a trip to space (as an astronaut) and time (as the next evolution of humankind after 1 million years) -Mars exhibition was great too, with samples of real martian meteorites. The history of our solar system viewed by early scientists is well put together. Finally, the building is more interesting from the outside than inside. Lily garden, sculpture displayed, interesting view point. Overall a great experience!
