I didn't have a choice but to stay at the hotel because it was contracted with my company. The location is really good, with a shopping mall right next to the hotel, which made it convenient for meals. The hotel offers two options for breakfast as well. The condition of the room was overall great. However, their service was extremely poor. The staff was not kind at all, especially the manager who displayed arrogance and unkindness. Additionally, my room key didn't work, so I had to make four trips to change it, taking over 40 minutes until someone was sent to fix it. It turned out that the door lock's battery had died. They didn't even offer an apology. This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I have already reported it to my company, and if there is another option, i will never choose this hotel

Wow! Gorgeous Views. Comfortable and spacious Rooms. This hotel is centrally located with lots of options for dining, shopping, transport… staff is attentive. Great spa and fitness center facility. The circular pool is shallow so it attracts little kids.

Great location. Very near to Marina Bay and MRT station. Running distance to National Museum and Fort Canning. Spectacular view. Only breakfast is needed for improvement.

A great stay in Singapour! We were on the 85th floor with a breath taking view. We had a little problem with our room, and it was immediately fixed. They also let us use the spa shower after our check out, before going to the airport. We loved our stay!

Really was a great experience from the minute I walked in. Staff are very friendly. The rooms are decently sized, rather quiet at nights which is great. Stayed on the higher levels, so the view was great. If you are a morning person and go to the gym, there gym is fantastic. The pool area is decent for adults and kids. The pool temperature is a little cold but you get use to it. The location is fantastic and so easy to get around, MRT right at your feet. Oh, also had room service and the meals were really nice. Overall a great stay and would stay there again with no hesitation.

The breakfast buffets were all great, amazing variety of food from different cultures. However, the lifts are absolutely atrocious after the breakfast rush and I waited for over 30 minutes to get in an available lift. I recommend checking out before 9:15 or after 11:00, as in between these times all 6 lifts are fully packed.

Good view and location beside the Marina bay, I can have a chill breakfast with bay view. The room service is great but the room layout is with L shape, a little bit confused and some facilities aren’t necessary. Anyone, it’s still a good hotel to enjoy.

It's hard to find any negative thing about this hotel. The rooms are large, modern, with comfy beds, large TVs, coffee maker and kettle, balcony with a view, good restaurant and many others. The price is still reasonable in my opinion. Location is very good, next to a mall and MRT station, and walking distance to many tourist attractions. The staffs are all helpful and work diligently for you. They have good facilities too, such as pool and gym. I will certainly go back if I have a chance (and if there's promotion).

Amazing and detailed clean rooms. However, the shower design is quite weird as there is no door so water may spill out. View from the hotel room is also very nice, as the hotel Is located in the centre of the city. It is also next to a mall and the underground train. Lots of facilities at the hotel like a pool, clay and grass tennis courts which are pretty well maintained, and 2 restaurants where the morning breakfast is delicious and healthy with lots of options to choose from. Overall one of the best hotels I've ever been to.

I booked the signature suite. Amazing balcony view. I had 2 balconies. But no fridge or microwave. The hotel will not heat up your food due to covid. I stayed for 4 nights. The 1st day shower not working. But was fixed upon request but was still leaking till the last day of stay. This is an old hotel. So the toilet and shower was old concept where u need to still climb the bath tub to bathe. No bidet spray. Very polite staff. My favourite was the balcony unblocked view.

Love the room design and a great balcony! Fantastic view by the harbour. Night skyline looks so nice! Speechless and it has a window to open to the balcony for fresh air. They have firm bed and that’s very comfortable to sleep in all night. Clean sheets and the air conditioner ventilation is fantastic!

Got room on 54th floor and the view from the room was great! The room was clean. Hotel location is excellent as it’s located near many places like malls, and subway. Saw a bunch of pilots stayed here.

My first time staying here. They upgraded me to the next level room which had a lovely view of marina bay sands as I was an Accor member. The room ambience was good but it was rather dusty. The staffs were warm and constant asked if I was ok for my stay. Their breakfast spread was decent and I had a chance to have some local food which was great. Overall a suitable hotel for business trips.

Good location and great views from high floor rooms. Has an executive floor room with wonderful views over marina bay. There are 2 swimming pools with cabanas. There are a couple of tennis courts but you need to book. The breakfast is complimentary with executive suites. The breakfast was OK and what you would expect. The omelettes were made to order. These shops at the base of the building with luxury brands. There is a food court where you can get cheaper meals and some great restaurants ap the top of the building with fantastic views. Would certainly stay there again.

Good and central hotel for business travellers. The location is unbeatable and the rooms are clean, checkin efficient and out at the lobby you can find taxis or ride hailing services with ease. Whilst there is a coffee machine in each room and it produces great coffee, the breakfast could do with a complete overhaul. 2 restaurants offer breakfast but it is beyond sad so the last day we didn’t even bother anymore.

Huge hotel with very nice views on lakes and best part of Singapore. It’s better to have highest floor view to enjoy this. Can be downside as you can have access to the balcony and it is quite dangerous to leave children alone or drunk people there. Be careful

A very good hotel with all necessary amenities. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The window view is great, especially at nighttime. Despite the hotel being centrally located, the climate is generally very hot and humid, so it’s often more relaxing not to have to go out. Therefore, I found the great selection of restaurants and shops within the hotel to be extremely convenient. Additionally, The Stamford offers 24/7 room service with excellent dining options. Check in is quick and easy, although I’d prefer a bit more initiative from the front desk in terms of recommendations regarding spa and other hotel activities. All in all, an enjoyable stay.

Very nice hotel. We had a standard room however it had a good view. The staff at the hotel is very kind and polite. We were assisted during our check in by Rozannah, she was friendly but also super professional. The room we had was a very good size with coffee/tea station (kettle and Nespresso machine), a seating area, safe box etc. The bathroom was also a good size, I loved the little tap with filtered drinking water. The swimming pool was also very good and enjoyable. The breakfast that we could choose from 3 different places was super good, they keep very clean and tidy. I really loved the yogurt they had, it was creamy and silky, so so good. The boiled eggs I had were cocked to perfection, there was a nice choice of Asian and international food. The hotel is connected to a nice mall where you can find a bit of everything with lot of shops.

Everything was so perfect. The location was so good with a metro station next to it. I was able to see Marina Bay Sands from the room. The bed was so comfortable. Staff are so friendly and nice. I will definitely stay there again.

Stayed here last month with family, we had a great time staying at level 53 facing the harbour. The room was splendid and clean. We also had breakfast at Clove which had great variety, thankfully it wasn’t crowded as what others had told me. Will definitely come back again for staycay.

Roughly say it’s a good place. But due to it’s a business hotel. The high occupations make the lobby and all the restaurants quite noisy. If you are a guest who spend for leisure time, It may not a good choice. But luckily the staff here are friendly and willing to help. Really appreciate it.

Cozy rooms with a great view. Only negative is that breakfast is not included with the room but that opens up the umpteen options available in Raffles city. Great location for business travellers.

Got the Premier harbour room.. the room was great and the view was beautiful. The bed was comfy and facilities was good. One thing I think can improve is the swimming pool.. there were quite some particles in the kids pool.. Maybe I prefer the interpersonal touch with the service staff I'd expect from a 5star hotel so the self check in wasn't for me.. But the staff was friendly and the service member who saw we had a kid and even gave her things to color with..

A beautiful bedroom with an impressive bathroom. The hotel is above a shopping mall and the underground railway. The business club is nice with very good food and excellent, friendly service. The hours of the club are unfortunately very limited. The views from the lounge and bedrooms is impressive.

Everything is perfect. I have some comments on the food in general because I am from Middle East and sometimes the food type is not suit with us. There is no food options like international buffet. Otherwise, the hotel and the location is perfect. On the other hand, I requested for late check out and they told me that the maximum provided you extra 30 minutes only and this was very strange for me. All the hotels in the world usually provide until 2 pm and sometime and 3 pm for late check out, but this hotel provide only half an hour, and this is the maximum that he can provide it.

Extremely bad customer service. The service staff don’t seem interested to speak to you or to serve guests. If I can give 0 stars, I would. Counter staff are glum-faced and just want to dismiss you as soon as possible. The 5 star hotel was made to feel like a 1 star hotel due to the service staff. Staff is slow and complaining to a guest about the change in system hence they are slow. Perhaps more training in professionalism is needed. Staff is extremely dismissive to guests and seems like they are forced to work there. Room is nothing fantastic, bare minimum necessities and they are cutting costs in the name of sustainability. Only one small glass bottle is given to contain the filtered water that you can drink through a tap in the toilet. To be honest, everything else can be forgiven but the extremely bad customer service just leaves a bad taste in your mouth and ruins your day. Oh there’s no complimentary parking for hotel guests as well as the carpark is by the mall. Be prepared to pay 50-60 bucks for parking if you are planning to drive there.

My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing due to the poor service and a confusing room situation. Initially, I had booked a standard room, but later decided to upgrade. When I approached the check-in staff to inquire if I could continue to stay in my initial room, they suggested I relocate to a harbor view room. However, when I packed my belongings and checked in again, I was dismayed to find that the view from the new room was identical to the previous one. To make matters worse, I had been moved from the 41st floor to the 46th floor, and the new room came with a higher price tag. When I inquired about the availability of alternative rooms, the supervisor mentioned rooms on the 55th floor but informed me that they were not yet ready and asked me to return later. Upon my return, I was informed that they had moved me back to my original room on the 41st floor, which was quite frustrating. To my surprise, when I expressed my dissatisfaction, the hotel staff offered me an ultimatum: either accept the situation or cancel my reservation for the remaining six days of my stay. I was taken aback by this response and chose to cancel my reservation. Throughout this ordeal, the language barrier with the supervisor, who had difficulty communicating in English, further exacerbated the situation. After an extended period of confusion and inconvenience, I would strongly discourage anyone from staying at this hotel.

We went to Singapore this September for a holiday and had our 2nights stay with Swissôtel Stamford. I had visited this hotel a couple of times before . I love the atmosphere about this hotel friendly staff assisted for our check in and the location is very convenient just in the city hall downtown can access to everywhere easily . I also had booked 2 days breakfast with my booking just because wanna feel the sunlight in to the restaurant of course the food was great as well. I’ll definitely come back if I have any chance to visit Singapore in the future.

Rooms are spacious and have a good view, staff are friendly and speak English. Breakfast is served in 2 different restaurants which one is completely asian cuisine and the other is international but still not many options to choose from the buffet in the international one

Good sized room, neither large, nor small. View fantastic. Air-conditioning weak, but I beefed it up. Lot of choices at breakfast, but overcrowded. Quality of food, just mid range. Servers overwhelmed with crowds, so service suffered.

Beautiful modern hotel, impeccable service, and amenities. Dinner buffet and breakfast top quality. The swimming pool was quite busy to be expected, but we still managed to find a lounge, pool bar, and food to table service available. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable, I couldn't fault the Swissôtel a little bit of luxury in the heart of Singapore.

Central location, close to downtown. Attached mall with a lot of restaurants within walkable distances. Metro rail connectivity through the mall is a great add. Rooms are well maintained. Maintenance staff are caring and courteous. Overall a great experience for the cost.

Checked in on 31 Jul for my birthday celebration. It was our 1st stay with Swissotel. The view was great and high floor was granted. Was surprise by the birthday cake and the cake was delicious ! When we reached, we notice there was a desk filled with computer, we were not sure if it was the check-in counter since there wasn't any signage, apparently it was for the self check-in. We saw a few tourist queuing up but were quite lost where to que as there wasn't a clear que line. It took us awhile for the check-in which I don't think it was faster in a way. Next, the water pressure in the bathroom was also very slow. It took around 30 min to fill up the bathtub, not sure was it because of the encouragement of sustainability. Husband also commented that the room was a bit dusty as well. Despite the hotel's five-star status and the corresponding price point, the level of standards provided are pretty disappointing.

Stayed here with my family overnight and had a very pleasant experience. Shopping center underneath and also a food court with lots of variety. Staff were very attentive and the room was a good size. The bed was amazing. Will be coming here for a longer stay.

We stayed there for 2 days with our two small little children. Great room, great location, great service. We were generously given a room upgrade. Late checkout was no problem. Of course we could use the pool until late in the evening as we had a late flight back home. We can only recommend this hotel!

Great room, very clean, modern decoration and nice view. The waiters are all very friendly, a lot of choices of buffet breakfast, easy access to coffee/restaurants (a lot of restaurants in B1 and shopping mall in the same building), massage is also great.

We had very enjoyable week at this hotel! It was so nice to have a balcony with the Harbour view. The bed is massive and we had good sleep. The only thing I did not like are the small amenities in bathroom. I would prefer large refillable shower gels/shampoo. Convenient location. We would definitely stay here again!

If you have any questions, you will definitely not be disappointed by Desiree Ong the Assistant Chef Concierge! Perfect customer service in a friendly and polite way, helpful, punctual and serious. The hotel is very centrally located, you don't need a cab, you can use the subway.

  • 4/5 Zac R. 1 year ago on Google
Great location and unrivaled views from the private balcony. The staff were great too. However, it loses a star for me due to the really unpleasant cosmetics in the bathroom (shower gel and hand soap both smelled very chemically and grim–I ended up buying my own from M&S which I shouldn't have to do in a 5* property) the lack of seating in the lobby (very busy, but nowhere near enough seating so I had to stand around a few times while waiting for a pickup) and the uninspiring room service menu (which could be easily resolved by adding more items from the hotel restaurant–even a pasta dish or two would fix it). All fairly minor gripes though and I'd stay there again.

A few times staying here and really recommended the Food Court underneath and the supermarket make it really handy. It is also a central transport hub with three main lines accessible within a five minute walk. Not to mention the rooms are incredibly comfortable.

A very good hotel with all necessary amenities. Booked our stay for our anniversary. Check in process was fuss-free. We got a free upgrade to suite during our stay at almost the highest floor with super amazing view. All room comes with balcony :) Super great stay, convenient to get around in the central area. Lovely staffs, lovely place. Definitely will be back again. Thank you team!

Perfect room other than it has no bidet and the bath gel and shampoo does smell weird. Good view, good location, staffs are okay. The check in and check out system is horrible. It is slow, lack of staffs and the process overall is slow, unlike other similar rated hotels.

Great Hotel with staff that really care. Renan and Kenneth in the lounge could not do enough to assist us. Clara at reception was so helpful and informative. Got to say a huge thanks to the doorman! He always there to assist me with hubby's wheelchair and a smile and a joke. Given an amazing room. We will return to this great hotel.

Swissôtel The Stamford, one of the tallest hotels in we’ve stayed in with some breathtaking views. The whole team are amazing, fantastic service, always ready to be there and help you with whatever it is. The room was fitted with everything we needed, comfy bed, good pillows, bath robes, ironing, coffee machine and cups and the star of the room, the filtered water, really good to see a hotel take this initiative. The hotel is physically attached to the mall, you don’t even need to get out to go into the mall, amazing location, close to everything. Two separate pools, one for the little kids was very nice, with towels provided and a bar serving food and drinks. The gym was very clean and with some excellent equipment, fresh water and towels available.

Great room and the view was amazing. The buffet breakfast had so many options and so much of everything as well. The shops under the hotel were really good and also lots of little eating places too. Raffles is a few mins walk and you can walk to Clarke Quay as well. Perfect location and would highly recommend.

Amazing spectacular view and very friendly service from Ms. Vicky Yap. She has given us a very spacious, nicely decorated room on level 37. Everything feels new, clean and fresh. Bed is big and very comfortable. Highly recommend this place if you ever visit Singapore! Location is also very convenient - with access to city hall mrt and Raffles City Mall downstairs.

Our favourite hotel in Singapore! We lived in the city for 4 years, and every time we come back, this is our hotel of choice. The location is perfect: close to Orchard, close to Marina Bay, next to Raffles City and Suntec Malls. And with a truly spectacular view over the bay. Breathtaking! The restaurants are great, both for breakfast and for dinners, and the pool and gym area are excellent.

One of the better hotels that I have stayed in Singapore. Location wise, it is very central and is linked to a great shopping mall - the Raffles City. Getting around other parts of Singapore was also easy due to the central location. Service staff was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Assistance was rendered almost immediately whenever I needed one. One best perk I enjoyed was the bird eye view of National Day Parade Preview! I could see the helicopters (Chinook and Apaches) at almost eye level. It was spectacular! Overall I would rate my stay in Swissotel a 5/5. I simply can't find anything bad to pinpoint!

I loved staying at this hotel and 100% recommend staying at this place for the following reasons: 1. You're very much centrally located and can walk to the main neighborhoods from the hotel. It's in the best location and all other areas are close enough to walk. I walked to the Gardens by the Bay, Little India, the Botanic Gardens, and China Town. If you don't want to walk, you can use the subway which is right underneath the hotel (Singapore is hot and humid so you may appreciate the direct access to the subway without having to go outside). 2. It's part of the building / connected to the Raffle Shopping Center where you can go shopping for anything from clothes, cosmetics, groceries, to over the counter meds, or have food at the food court or in one of the many restaurants in the basement. The center has a few spas where you can get a massage too. 3. Well equipped and comfortable rooms of a good size (for Singapore standards) with the softest sheets and comfortable mattress (no exaggeration here, their sheets are heavenly).

My stay here was so bad. On the day I arrived here we were told they have given us the rooms we booked only but when we got to see our rooms they seriously lied to our faces and we were not given the rooms as promised to us so we talked to them for about an hour and wrote an email to them after that they decided to get us shift to our booked room the next day . The next day we went to universal studio and after we returned we were already tired we still shifted our room but we forgot some of our stuff in our old bedroom and when we remembered this in few hours we called them to give us our things that we have forgotten, it has been three days and our things still has not been returned to us. I lost my expensive shoes in their hotel which I have worn only once . So I won’t recommend anyone to stay in their hotel.

We stayed at the 2 queen beds room meant for 4 adults. Judge for yourself if these beds are meant for 2 adults to share. They can barely fit an adult + a child on their “queen sized bed”. To make things worse, there is no way any human can have a restful sleep on those pillows. Another thing is that the shower area becomes completely flooded after 2 mins of turning the shower on. Prepare to have your feet completely submerged in water as you struggle to have the fastest shower ever. Even the soap dispenser is an awkward design with sharp edges that cut my hand. I literally cannot think of any reason to recommend this place other than it being located right next to a mall and the mrt. There are plenty of other hotels that have the same criteria. Please don’t come to this one. And for the price, just no.

This hotel is fantastic from the foyer to the top floor where there are restaurants and bars. There is an estimate of 1300 rooms. The views hit you like a cold shower. They will take your breath away. The rooms are large. They seem to think of almost everything, with their design and what they provide in the room. Love their green initiatives. There is a drinking water tap for each room. Remember to bring along your own bottles. There is a pool. And there is a mall under the hotel. There is a halal breakfast option at the Asian Market buffet. It also gives you a chance to try some traditional food but also your standard breakfast selection as well. A few issues to be made aware of. It is pricey, they will also ask for a Singapore$500 deposit. Its a tall building. The lifts need to be fast. There is a big enough change in ear pressure for you to feel it. Especially if you use the lift for higher up floors. I wouldn't suggest you use their airport shuttle or transfer service. They will charge you late fees. As it took the airline more than an hour to get bags to the conveyor belt from touch down. Their free WiFi works very well.
