I've already noticed the service here is poor. The bell hops do not help carry all of your luggage or even offer leaving you tote them half of them around after a long flight. When you have food deliverd via grab for example, they won't deliver to your room which to me is 3 Star hotel behavior. The front desk don't seem to care, they just like to stay behind the desk and be unhelpful. Nice looking hotel with poor service may as well be a motel.

I was staying there earlier this week for 2 nights. Firstly this is definitely NOT a 5 star hotel. Rating needs to be changed. Service, current room standards does not justify the hefty per night charges, more so considering its off city location.

Lovely location based in Scotts Road. Easy access to newton circus and mrt. Hotel is abit old but lovely service. I got upgraded to a balcony room with pool access. I had a Nice experience at the lounge for their cocktail hour. The food was pretty good and they have an awesome service. Thumbs up. At the lounge, they made me a mock tail

This hotel is excellent and located near Newton MRT station. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. However, in my opinion, there were several drawbacks. Specifically, during check-in, the staff failed to inform us about the S$ 100 deposit. As a result, my friends and I were confused because the price was different when we booked via the Marriott Bonvoy app. During check-out, the staff informed me that the deposit return would only take around 7-10 working days. When this estimate was exceeded, I inquired via email and discovered that the timeline applied to credit card payments, whereas for debit cards, it took approximately 30-45 working days. However, their Duty Manager suggested sending invoice to our respective bank when checking in, to expedite the process. As a result, I received the deposit in less than 45 working days after following the advice to contact the bank.

Having stayed here many times before Covid very happily. Now, service completly deteriorated. No more minibar service in the room (they are empty and are not filled upon request), room service only until 930pm (tereafter you simply get nothing!!! Not even a coffee! So if you arrive late be prepared to grab some drinks and food before you arrive here), asking for the next shop to buy some food, the answer is to get a food delivery app....After own quick research showed that a food court nearby was still open. So seems team is not dedicated to serve customers anymore with good advise, Porter is hardly seen / available, luggage service not available or only after strong request, small outside smoking area next to breakfast room also eliminated (so smokers must exit property and cannot sit somewhere)... So all you get is an expensive night of sleep in an old styled hotel. This is not appropriate for a 5 star classification. This is low thrill (like a hostel) at a high price. You can better go to another hotel at 1/3 of the costs e.g. in China Town. Will not stay here again neither recommend it to friends. Sad to see such a deterioration. May be a new management has taken over.....

Forget the dated club rooms and suites. The best rooms here are the pool cabanas that have direct access and chairs next to the pool. Lots of Bonvoy Elites usually save their Suite Nights to secure these rooms so don't rely on your Bonvoy status for a freebie. The happy hour from 5-7pm at the executive lounge is quite generous with the pours. Service can be a bit slow with the crowds (everyone is an Elite!) but the staff tries very hard. Breakfast is blah. Can't wait for buffets to be back!

Wonderful place, wonderful staff. This is the second visit at this hotel and we absolutely love it. Highly recommend for those who would like to visit Singapore. Located near the Newton MRT, you are all set to explore and enjoy the island offerings. Walking distance to Orchard shopping district as well! Kid friendly, great food, too.

Everything was awesome from check in to check out. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the chefs are friendly and professional people, the whole team is well trained and efficient. The bar area offers comfort and ambiance and the drinks selection is well organized. The service team is super helpful and if there’s any problems they will do their best to make sure the customer is happy. The executive lounge was the highlight of my stay! It really feels like business class, whether you want to read a book or do some work the environment is conducive for grown up stuff. The team in there is simply the best, very good etiquette and exudes positive energy. Also very diligent about to interact with guests. I highly recommend anyone spends time there when they visit this hotel. Housekeeping is very professional and efficient and greets guests warmly at anytime and I find this to be part of luxury accommodation. I particularly like the way the reception will make sure to verify guest details before surrendering a replacement card key.

Ordinary hotel in Singapore, that came into the years. The rooms are clean but require renovation. Service and food, as expected in Asia is quite good. Outstanding is the obviously fresh renovated Spa/gym/pool area. 25m pool where you can do real labs is just great.

Convenient location to mrt station. Overall is clean but room are dated and old. Definitely need renovation soon. It’s not worth it’s value. Feels more like a 3stars than 5stars. Room smells

Not sure if management change or what, the service value drops dramatically Last time high tea set comes with 2 drinks selections. Now limit to one drink each person, tea is per cup not pot, dont even want to serve water (they charge $3 per pot of warm water ? Meanwhile the tea ordered comes in cup ? )Joke of the yr . Wanted to book for 4 but not allowed, only able to book for 2. At the end the lobby lounge not even half full

Came here to attend the Global Space & Technology Convention. The meeting room is good enough to be used as a seminar or exhibition venue. The division of the room is also flexible, it can be partitioned. The location is quite strategic, easy to reach and close to the MRT station. However, during the event the food runs out quickly.

If you are looking for a nice, comfortable stay at a Marriott property at a reasonable price, Sheraton Towers is pretty hard to beat. It’s starting to look and feel a little dated compared to the other more modern hotels around the area, but doesn’t make the experience worse, just an observation. The hotel lobby smelled a little funny but thankfully the room and other common areas were just fine. Hotel breakfast and lounge had a variety of food and drinks and service was great. Verdict: a perfectly good hotel for a short business trip, but wouldn’t come here on a special occasion though.

A lovely place as always. Second time now enjoying their suite. This time at their presidential which was delightful. Room was huge, luxurious and comfortable. Exactly what we were looking for in our stay. Nothing short. Amazing that it’s away from the bustling crowd of Singapore yet accessible even by public if needed. Staff was friendly from start to end. There were those on training but surely we can understand their inexperience. With time am sure they’ll uphold a great image of the hotel. Will surely be back!

The most underrated five star hotel in Singapore. Incredibly clean, amazing rooms, top notch service, perfect location - less than 5 mins to orchard, 2 min to newton, yet feels away from the hustle and bustle.

I had an exceptional experience at Sheraton Towers Singapore. Having stayed in several hotels in Singapore, this marked my first visit to Sheraton Towers last week. I was particularly impressed by the outstanding level of service, notably provided by the staff at The Dining Room. Chef Kelvin Lee displayed exceptional attentiveness to his patrons, even taking the time to engage in conversation with us to ensure our satisfaction with the cuisine. I must say, the laksa he prepared was truly remarkable and is a definite must-try! I have attached a photograph of our server, Zar Win, who overheard my fondness for the mini chocolate crunch balls and pleasantly surprised me with a generous plate of them. I deeply appreciated the diverse array of culinary options available. The housekeeping service was prompt and convenient, allowing for service requests through the Marriott Bonvoy app. The front desk staff exhibited efficiency, and the doormen offered friendly and valuable suggestions on local attractions. Securing a taxi through the hotel was a seamless process. The gym facilities were comfortable, and the equipment was impeccably maintained, complete with readily available clean towels. Nonetheless, I must note that the bathtub requires some updates, as it appeared old with unsightly stains and experienced leakage issues. I initially used it on the first night but found it unappealing for further use. Additionally, there was hair from the previous guest on the toilet seat. Attention to hygiene is paramount and should be addressed. In summary, this hotel exceeded my expectations (especially when compared to its sister hotels). I look forward to the next stay at Sheraton Towers Singapore soon! Hope I will get a clean room this time.

Not all front desk staff is friendly, most of them don't smile. Bellboys are nicer. Should improve the breakfast variety because it gets boring to eat the same things after staying there for a few days straight. The buffet managers (in black and white uniform) should be more friendly and polite, even the servers are more polite and friendly than the managers. The gym staff should tell the gym weight lifters at the gym to NOT THROW the weights, so much of noise pollution at the gym because of the men who cannot or refuse to handle machines and weights properly.

I had a great weekend here with my family. Collin at the front desk was super attentive, and fast, responded to all my requests promptly. I was deeply impressed. I also want to nominate Hafiz, Logan and Dars at the main restaurant and the bar. They were just soooo friendly and professional, I can tell they really enjoy their job, and I certainly had a great time because of them. This is an outstanding classic hotel, highly recommended. A typical Marriott offering although the rooms are a bit dated now. Food was great and staff were great too. The main plus point of this hotel is it's location. Stone throw from Newton MRT and the Hawker centre. Just ideally situated for getting anywhere fast.

One of the oldest and iconic hotels in Singapore. Has very good restaurants. However, is a slightly longer walk to orchard road as it’s on the farther end of Scotts road. Nice pool and rooms are good though not luxurious. Has good public transportation options to centre of city and several other attractions. Train station is nearby and bus stop close to hotel

Did a 1 night staycation with the kids, they have enjoyed themselves so much by the pool and breakfast spread. Ewan check in was seamless and quick! He knew what we wanted as a family and was kind to give us a late check out so the kids could do another round of fun at the pool! Short walk to the Newton food centre to satisfy our dinner and when we return we bought pastries by the lobby at 50% off because it’s after 6pm. Hafiz was friendly and recommended all the good selections that my mum was pleased with the taste of it too! Will like to return soon again!

Though a hotel that's built quite sometime back, with constant upgrading, still look good. Very executive looking colour scheme! Rooms feel fairly spacious as compared to some new hotels! Had coffee and enjoyed a Yizu cake! Hotel is just next to MRT Station and 200 metres away from Newton Food Centre, offering plenty of local eats!

We were there for my birthday celebration, from my every past experience, as a premium member, we usually have small treat or at least a greeting card. But there's nothing there in this hotel for my 2 nights stay. On top of that, while we're checking in around 8pm, there's only 1 counter open to do the check in on a Saturday night, there's a long queue that I never experienced in a Marriott hotel chain before which makes no sense to me. Gladly after waiting for around 15-20mins, they finally open another counter to support check in. Lobby restaurant is nice, Chinese restaurant in the basement get the worse experience, I was carrying a baby standing there for 10mins, and no one come over to greet the guest and arrange for seats, so we have no choice but left. The basement kids room is also obviously not well-maintained. Facility wise the hotel design is nice, the view in the lobby is great, but the overall experience is not preferred. May not visit again. Oh, and the house keeping accidentally took my girl's doll, we called to ask the doll back...luckily they were honest enough to return us instead of pretending it was not there. I don't know whether I should describe this as a good exp or bad exp 🤦🏻‍♀️ Long story short, not a very pleasant Marriott experience.

Nice hotel. Good service. But online room service menu could use some work, as it’s incomplete. It doesn’t include and non alcoholic drinks or beers, for example.

It was a disappointment dining at The Dining Room, Sheraton Towers on 28th Aug. We started the lunch buffet at 12 noon, but the salmon sashimi was out of stock at 12.30pm. We were told that the delivery of salmon was not in time. I think this is an absurd reason. Salmon sashimi is a basic dish in all buffets. I have been to many buffets, this is the first time I had only one serving of salmon sashimi and was told that it was out of stock (just after 30 minutes from the start of the buffet). It just proves that the restaurant needs proper planning. The variety of food is very limited too. In addition, we had to call out to the Manager and service staffs and remind a few times when we requested for finger bowl, serviettes and the bill. They were not attentive. The restaurant does not provide complimentary carpark and cake for birthdays. It was supposed to be a happy occasion for my group of friends and I (total 10 persons) as we were celebrating the birthday of one of our friends but the whole dining experience was very bad. However, I would like to compliment the hotel’s porter (Amin). After the disappointing lunch at the Dining Room, we wanted to take photo at the hotel’s lobby. Amin took the initiative and suggested a few spots for phototaking and we had gorgeous photos taken by him.

Great place to stay while visiting Singapore. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet is second to none. The lounge has everything to offer in the early evening. The beds are super comfy and the shower was amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Singapore.

This was for business travel. The rooms were quite a bit in the old style and resonate well with an older outlook. They are not modern and chic. Might need an upgrade sometime soon in the next couple of yrs for sure. Service was alright and the breakfast buffet did not have as many options as they should have. Particularly for a vegetarian, very limited options.

Excellent location with just a less than 5 minutes walk to Newton train station which is one station each away from Orchard and Novena. Hospitality from staff is amazing. Though hotel is old, I am surprised that furnitures and things in room are very well maintained. Can't recommend enough for families.

This hotel and its staff are top notch. The professionalism and courtesies extended to everyone is a small snapshot of my wonderful experience here. My only criticism is location. Dont hold the hotel to this though. Many places are a quick taxi away.

Even though the rooms are not amazing at this price point, the location is relatively convenient and the staff is amazing. They have been super helpful with every request we had. The pool is also nice, and the gym is small but all right :)

We held our solemnization ceremony at the waterfall pavilion and wedding dinner at Sheraton’s Topaz All in Feb 2023, and we have no regrets. A wedding is extremely stressful to plan and execute, but the Sheraton staff were extremely helpful during the process. Special mention and thanks to Yeo Simin, for being our coordinator. She was there every step of the way, from the initial promotion of the wedding package, to when we walked down the aisle, to after the wedding when we collected our things from the hotel. Special mention also to Leon, our banquet manager. He was very assuring during the wedding banquet, and the event went very smoothly under his management. We are also very thankful to the AV team on that day for ensuring that our music and videos were all played accordingly to our timing. The entire service of the hotel, from the check-in and banquet to the check-out was just wonderful. Banquet food was delicious thanks to the Li Bai Cantonese Restaurant; food was portioned, and guests just relaxed and ate. Halal food was catered for our Muslim guests, arranged by the hotel as well. The staff were attentive, going as far as to pass us napkins when we cried during our wedding speech. As the bride and groom, our food was even portioned for us after the wedding since we were too busy to eat during the banquet; So we got to enjoy the banquet in private as well. No complaints about our bridal suite, it was roomy, beautiful, luxurious, and clean. The entire wedding process had so many details, minor hiccups are unavoidable. There was a system error during check-in. Hard liquor wasn’t offered until asked for, because we ourselves forgot to mention it to the manager. But generally, the process was incredibly smooth given the number of details involved. We really had an enchanting wedding and would love to return for a nostalgic stay in the future. Sincerest thanks to the staff at Sheraton Towers!

Sheraton Towers as quaint and indulgent with carpentry that covers the marble floors, gives off an scent that is uniquely surreal. The rooms are lux and chill. Services not typically well staffed enough to cater to everybody needs in the early morning but they are courteous and attentive.

Great Hotel with excellent staff! A bit dated but love it - I guess old is gold sometimes! Checkin was a breeze and the Athens suite is lovely. The breakfast was fantastic with ample variety - great way to taste fusion food! The exec lounge is nice - but shuts at 8pm which is really weird as I haven’t come across a total shut down so early before in any of the Marriott hotel lounges I have stayed at. Staff at the lounge are super courteous and polite. Highly recommend the hotel! A special thanks to Sandi and Puru in the lounge who were outstanding along with the support staff. Great customer service. Have to thank Grace for sorting out my room fiasco as guys at check-in were quite unhelpful, she fixed the issue in a ziffy. Kelvin in the restaurant made amazing omelettes - and Amin at the concierge desk was super helpful. And ofcourse Ewan for being super helpful and courteous. Thanks all for a wonderful stay!

As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Hotel Towers in Singapore and I must say, it was an absolutely incredible experience. The room was simply amazing, with a beautiful view of the city skyline. The large bathroom was fully stocked with amenities, including plush bathrobes and a remote control for the lighting and air conditioning. The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, with plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The service at check-in was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to make sure that everything was to my liking and that my stay was as comfortable as possible. The size of the rooms was also a standout feature, providing plenty of space to spread out and make myself at home. The hotel's facilities were equally impressive, with a huge gym that is open 24/7, a beautiful pool area complete with a sauna, and a range of other amenities that made my stay truly unforgettable. The location of the hotel was also perfect, with the Newtown Metro Station just a minute's walk away, making it easy to explore all that Singapore has to offer. In short, the Sheraton Hotel Towers in Singapore is a top-notch hotel that I would recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay in this beautiful city. With its amazing facilities, exceptional service, and prime location, this hotel truly deserves a solid 5-star rating.

Wonderful staff. We stayed there for a whole weekday and they were so sweet to us, surprised us with sweets now and then, or cute towel art. Yuyun was awesome. Helped us with local food suggestions too. It’s the best hospitality experience I’ve had. The rooms are old and slightly small, but the overall location is awesome as it’s near mrt station.

  • 2/5 Harry H. 10 months ago on Google
Only ok. The hotel staff were friendly and mostly helpful. The experience was let down by tired looking rooms, a generally drab interior and very poor food. The food was not cheap so it’s a shame that the quality is no where near what it needs to be. Pool is very nice but the pool bar is awful.

The hotel hardly recognise Elite member. As a platinum member, I went on a less peak day ( as inform by the front desk), they are quite reluctant to upgrade me even though bigger room is available. Club lounge service is very bed, they don't come and serve you if you are Asian looking. Buy they take care of Ang mo people. overall, 5 star hotel but 1 star service.

Back here to where the wedding bells ring 2 years ago to redeem my suite . Service was top notch , receptionists was all attentive and smiley. SPECIAL MENTION to executive lounge service staffs especially Sandi !!!!Although all of them was wearing mask, but we can still see them smiling and attentive . Shanti's service was exceptionally well compare to all the hotels I went before . She is attentive , friendly , nice and make us feel warm and welcome . Best of all , she even remembers our name and anniversary which hardly anyone in the service line will ever pay attention in these days . It's a gem for Sheraton to have her !

Very nice and clean. The staff was very nice politeness. I was in singapo in 1979, and now I came back to this place on my birthday to visit. What a big difference. Very where I turned, it was a jaw dropped by the cleaned and beauty. Love it.
