Stayed here for a week. Loved the convenient location to train station (2min walk). Also walking distances to many touristic attractions and museums (e.g. Fort Canning Park, Singapore River, Chinatown, Asian Civilisation Museum), shops and food. I was worried initially that of noise as it's near many pubs, but can't hear a thing. Very safe for a solo traveller. Their gym was clean and well maintained. Overall, hotel facilities and the rooms are clean. Their lounge is nice for a nightcap before bed, I liked their cherry wine. Not a fan of the 70s, 80s music genre by the live band. I would preferred more recent songs but I don't think I was the target audience.

We loved the staff, the location, the cleanliness of the rooms at this hotel. Such a lovely experience. The reviews prior to our visit were mixed and i was worried but it was just perfect. Its now a Paradox hotel, and I think post covid and takeover its all running back up to speed again. Thank you to all the divine staff.

My wife is now quarantined in Swissotel Merchant Court hotel (Room 576). The meals provided by this hotel are far not meeting the necessary nutrition for daily living. The meal standard & nutrition value are of a big contrast as compared to Park Regis hotel across the road, where she was quarantined in June. Today is the 3rd day of her quarantine. Hardly any salad & fruits are provided in the meals. Meals are always curry or fried stuff. The quantity is small. She is a woman, and it's insufficient for her. If I have not been sending her extra food, she'll be hungry. What happens if the room guest is a gentleman? How would such small portion of food satisfy the needs of a gentleman? Please improve your meals immediately. It's not just my wife's sake, but also for the sake of all the guests who are under quarantine, and are probably already suffering from frustration & depression.

If you get a chance to choose your facility for SHN or QO, do not pick this hotel unless you are looking to lose your appetite or planning to order most of your meals yourself. The staff does not really take your dietary preferences into account and will serve fish and shellfish even though you said no seafood from the beginning and will ask that you order your own food if you cannot eat what is provided. They also continuously serve you the same items for each meal, making you wonder if the food are reheated leftovers from the day before. Circled the items (same ingredient, same cut of meat, prepared the same way) that repeated day to day in the same colour. Most of the food is bland. Sometimes the food served makes you wonder if they simply put together leftovers from each type of cuisine as there's one side from Halal, Western, Vegetarian and International because it doesn't follow the usual. The usual bento should contain 1 Grain, 1 Protein, 1 Veg and 1 Side (usually potatoes).

My dad served his QO in the hotel and the reception staff's attitude is horrible. Their wifi requires reconnecting after a few days and my dad belongs to the older generation who is not tech savvy and can't speak Chinese. Hence, when his wifi was disconnected, he contacted the reception for help. According to my dad, the reception sounded very annoyed and as if he was going to lose his temper talking to my dad. My dad also tried to ask for someone that can speak Chinese but he said there were nobody available. At first I thought maybe my dad misunderstood because hotel receptions usually have great attitude and maybe due to language barrier. So I called on behalf of my dad so that maybe I can explain better. And to my surprise, the reception really have some horrible attitude. I was asking nicely for the password so I can help my dad and he sounded so annoyed and once I double confirmed the pw, he just replied "yes" and just hang up my call. I don't expect the standard of service to be like how it is when you pay for the hotel because this is QO but I think that basic reception attitude should be there, especially when we asked nicely. So now my dad still have 9/10 days of QO left but he does not have wifi because the reception is not willing to help and it's hard for me to guide him remotely since I can't see his phone too.

Central location, comfortable hotel, enough space in the room, rooms daily cleaned, I appreciated also fruits as compliments of the hotel as well as drily fresh water bottles. Breakfast very rich and tasty. Check-in and check-out quick and without any troubles. Well equipped and clean gym. Nice pool and whirlpool. Overall to be recommended!

Overall, I had a great experience at the hotel! The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The breakfast offered was pretty good with lots of selection. The rooms were clean, the only down side being they did not change the towels regularly unless you left them outside the bathroom (even if you put them on the bathroom floor they would just hang them up for you). The bed was decent, but the pillows were not very good and the lighting in the rooms was dark.

Really nice hotel and the service was excellent! Allowed us an early check in and a checkout. Rooms cleaned everyday and complimentary water provided too. Concierge staff were so kind and helpful too. Kids loved the pool. The hotel is very central with a shopping all around and a short walk to China town eateries. Thank you! Highly recommend

It's not a bad hotel but a little bit expensive for what you get. The location is right next to MRT station (Clarke Quay) and a decent Mall. The pool is superb and breakfast had many options with a great egg station. Would stay here again if room rate was discounted.

Our room was spotless. Bed a bit hard but comfortable enough. I think each room should have plate with fruit as a welcome jesture. Loved the phone charger.Hotel in a great spot for MRT. Clarke Quay and there is a mall opposite.

We stayed at the Paradox in March 2023. Rooms are very vibrant and fun. Our room had a balcony and large bed. The corridors are long and can be a bit confusing if you get a corner room. We had executive lounge access . The food and drinks are if a good variety. As we are vegetarian they accomodated and served us some delicious starters. Special mention of Johanna , she was super helpful, cheerful and kind. The pool area is just fabulous ! Bright , blue and exotic. Drinks are served at the side bar , so its a nice place to chill. Location is just fantastic, walking distance from the clarke quay restaurants and a small shopping centre too. Overall : Great stay ! Great hospitality !

Very cosy room. Love the option to have windows that can open slightly to let in fresh air. Wake to the lovely sound of birds. Staff is fantastic.

Location of hotel is very good, facilities and services are good. We had a very pleasant stay with family. Room service has to be improved and it was unavailable after 10PM most of the time, also breakfast option has to be increased to cover multinational guests.

Stayed 4 nights between UK and NZ. Ideally situated for all the main tourist attractions. Maybe a bit too corporate, but all staff were great. Consider upgrade including executive lounge on floor 11 for a quieter breakfast and free drinks and food from 18.00 to 20.00

I was very disappointed with the room. One day into my stay and my air-conditioning was down. I called the service line about it and they came in 1 hour later. After a brief check, they said they will be back in 2 hours. They came back more than 4 hours later to "check" again. This time they said it will get better, just monitor. The woman over the phone told me it was a hotel problem and a lot of guests were experiencing it so I should just wait. When the repair men came, they told me it was just my room. She lied. The fridge was also warm so the drinks that I brought weren't chilled. Overall I thought the room was spacious and toilet was pretty decent. The windows weren't very clean but I'm ok with all of that. It was the slow service and being lied to that got to me. The hotel didn't offer a chance of room either. I slept 2 nights without aircon.

Received QO from MOH and sent to this hotel for quarantine. At first, they take almost 4 & half hours done and bring me to my room. Reason: crashed the check out ppl slot, we force to wait and not provide any meals or drink during waiting period. While we able check in our room, there is no Aircon service, reason: maintenance. Till the last day for check out, I still need to wait n wait, those staff very late coming.... Overall, I think this is my worst service experience in Singapore.

This place has to be one of the best hotels we have stayed in and pool was amazing. The service is outstanding and the location is close to so many restaurants and cafes. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Generally, a pleasant and restful stay. Location is excellent with many amenities, shopping centre, supermarket & restaurants nearby. The staff are helpful and friendly too. The room are clean and spacious. The hotel also prepared a simple birthday cake to surprise my wife during our stay. Thank you so much for the thoughtfulness and nice gesture. Overall, had a pleasant and enjoyable stay at the property. Would look forward to revisit it in the future.

Comfortable stay however did not feel like a valued and welcomed guest. I did request early check-in numerous times leading up to our stay however the rooms were not available. Upon our first breakfast visit, we were turned back to reception as they did not have details of our included breakfast package. The staff then continued to discuss whilst we were left waiting for there findings. We had no view from our rooms. Overall the facilities were good, however the staff were not overly welcoming. Even at check out we were not asked if we enjoyed our stay.

Have been sleeping here for a few weeks, friendly people and they will do everything for you. Clean and spacey rooms, nice swimming pool and bars. Breakfast was terrific, enough choice. Also no problem to bring a small bag to fill during breakfast, for at work. Close to Clark Quay. MRT around the corner, so easy to get everywhere. Perfect location.

Overall, great hotel. However, our room had the HARDEST beds we've ever experienced. It was like sleeping on wood. We had mattress toppers added after the first night but hardly made a difference so it was very uncomfortable. Mostly the staff were wonderful, only issue we had was the reception wouldn't help us with our transfer company because it was an overseas number. Breakfast was the best we've ever had! Staff in restaurant were amazing. Parts of hotel are getting old and run down but all very clean. Great location.

Great location for Clarke Quay and Chinatown. Nice size room, with comfy bed. Good outside pool. Lovely breakfast with good choice of cuisines. Only downside is that the tables are set very close together, so it feels a bit closed in.

Here on a short work trip - hotel seems fine though had slightly grumpy service when I arrived bleary-eyed at 4am off an 8hr flight… that was the last thing I needed! First impressions count. But the room was large and comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful and varied, the daytime front desk staff very helpful. Location fine for my needs - easy to get to customer meetings, local options for various cuisines and coffees. Quick ride from airport.

Before was a Swis Hotel and somehow no investments during the past years. The room I good this time was no so nice as before but was clean and quiet. Also breakfast options are less than before, somehow vegetables and fruits are almost missing, coffe is not expresso, used plates are taken very fast from your front giving you the feeling that you should hury up. Location is very good, close to Marina Bay and China Town, have a pool and gym is well equiped, above many hotels from that region. Also whats weird is that after you pay and request ypur bill you cannot use your room anymore, like evening payment to avoit morning gueue will not work. Good thing is that of you have a late flight ypu can have a shower in the gym before heading to the airport, slhotel staff is very friendly and offer you this service.

Perfect location, nearest tube station is Clarke Quay and its literally opposite the main entrance to the hotel. Drinks are expensive even at happy hour. Very slow check in

Visited SwissΓ΄tel Merchant Court back in October 2019. An extremely beautiful hotel with spacious rooms that elevate your stay. Large en-suite bathroom with all the necessities you may need. Buffet-style breakfast was incredible, with options from both Europa and Asia. Friendly staff and late night dining options complemented my stay. Next up when travelling to Singapore: SwissΓ΄tel The Stamford in Singapore!

If you want a 5 star experience it's would be nice to stay here. With a huge pool area to spend your time in. Has a great big buffet breakfast from 630am to 1030am with a lot to pick from. The rooms are a really good size and has a huge bathroom with bath tubs to soak in. They have a great little bar with great entertainment Thursdays and Fridays. Just pop down and listen to the music. Also the hotel is close to a lot of other places. China town. Quay and merlion.

Hotel, location and facilities were very good. Breakfast was excellent, as were the restaurant, bar staff and managers. Rooms were of a good size and were lovely and clean and the toiletries were of a high quality and very welcomed. The fridge for the cold bottled water was very much needed and appreciated. The swimming pool was great, as were the sun beds, and the pool bar. This is a lovely, quality hotel. I would like to say thank you to the room cleaners, restaurant staff, restaurant managers and the bar staff for their attentive professionalism and genuine friendliness.

Excellent stay in convenient location near river. Friendly and helpful staff. Allowed to check into room early after flight which was a bonus. Very good amenities in room and bathroom. Spacious and comfortable. Loved the pool and surrounding area with sunbeds. Blue Potato restaurant poolside was very good and staff very friendly and efficient. Really excellent buffet breakfast

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Hotel, the room was excellent, spacious , clean and also importantly quiet. Was great to have complimentary drinks & canapes in the Executive lounge. Room service was also very good and breakfast buffet had a huge choice. Hotel staff were helpful and very professional at all times. Would love to stay again if we are ever back in Singapore.

The hotel is wonderful and the rooms are beautiful, spacious, and clean. The staff is also professional. But the breakfast for the executive rooms is very small. The breakfast in the other rooms is better. The supervisors were informed about the breakfast note, and the treatment was more than wonderful. I recommend visiting this hotel due to its wonderful location, the treatment of the staff, and the spaciousness of the rooms compared to other hotels πŸ‘πŸ‘

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. At check in the staff ensured we had the room that met our needs and they made us feel very welcomed and valued! The room was extremely comfortably and extremely well serviced. The breakfast in the mornings was outstanding. The location is perfect, and the hotel even has a very nice garden next to the pool area. We definitely would recommend it to anyone that comes to Singapore!

The reception staff at the hotel are such a friendly and courteous bunch of people. The same goes to the staff who assigned us to our seats for breakfast. The food variety and quality was good. It was a pleasant stay at this hotel overall. Wished we had extended one more night so that we could savour more of the good vibes ;)

Hotel is in a great location with walking distance to an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars. The gym and pool is great. Rooms a bit dated so hopefully with the new owners upgrades are planned. Buffet breakfast has a great variety of different cuisines. Overall the price is very good for such a convenient location.

I am really disappointed about the service in this Paradox hotel. I stayed in here one and a half week, and for everything I had to run behind. After one week I changed the room, in the same day after a few hours I recognized that I forgot some valuable items in the previous room. I was going to the reception asking for them…what has happened!? I got a letter a day after that the Items were thrown away!!! On the same day! They did not even kept it for a few hours to ask the guest if one has forgotten things… just an apologize in the letter! Nothing else. Poor service at all what I have experienced till now, the personal in the reception need hours to print the invoice or to find reservation or to solve an issue… the service here is just to do your work, not looking right and left, not paying attention what the guest needs are, the service is not to keep guest satisfied and happy, its to full-fill your duty, your daily work which needs to be done. And for that you pay 320$ per night!!! Exception is in the morning in breakfast room, really nice ladies who are trying to serve the guests and keep them happy. Very kind and helpful.

We traveled as a family of 5 with 3 small kids and had 2 days in Singapore on our way to Australia from Europe. We booked two roomed and got offered two connected rooms which was perfect. The rooms were really large with lots of space for a baby travel cot as well. The bathrooms were nice one had a shower the other had a tub. Again, just what we needed with kids. Rooms were clean, for like 5 min so I had to ask for a vacuuming which was quickly and efficiently done. The pool was fantastic too, we had 2 very relaxing days before we continued with our flight. The only thing that was just a bit hard to control was the air conditioning, it blew very strongly even at the lowest settings which made the rooms a bit windy. If we increased the temperature everything just became very humid. Otherwise it was a great place, we would be happy to be back. They also allowed late check out, so we could stay an extra 6 hours after 12 pm at the rate of 50% of the cost of the room. Again, really helpful when you have a late afternoon or evening flight. Very positive experience.

One of the worst stays in Singapore, completely unfriendly staff and not recommended. The food was horrible, unpalatable 😫, with no choice of food, the hotel could not even provide a decent continental breakfast. If being stuck in a room on quarantine is not bad enough try it with lousy food 3 times a day. Noodles for breakfast πŸ™„ everyday so far, with a week of torture remaining
