It's
a
3-stared
hotel.
For
the
room
size,
price,
facilities,
location
and
service,
it's
good
for
short
stay
(<5
days).
Free
Wi-Fi.
Room:
air
conditioned-
ok.
Cool
enough
after
a
long
walk
in
hot
days.
Although
not
big,
it's
still
able
to
place
(only)
one
big
baggage
and
2
small
carry
on
baggage
on
the
floor.
No
baggage
rack
(no
spare
place
for
this
indeed).
Not
always
staying
at
the
hotel,
so
comfy
beds
are
more
important
than
a
big
room.
Two
standard
single
beds
(2
pillows
each)
with
separate
bedside
tables
without
drawers.
Mattress
and
pillows
were
comfy.
There
is
a
2-seated
sofa
besides
the
bed,
a
flat
TV,
a
chair
and
a
desk
with
a
chair
facing
window.
Good
to
let
us
laying
on
the
bed
or
sofa
to
watch
TV.
The
desk
is
good
enough
for
one
people
doing
computer
or
paperwork.
More
drawers,
no
paper
or
pen.
Window
viewing
the
alley
and
the
back
of
a
Chinese
Temple.
There
are
2
tall
sheves.
One
is
for
hanging
clothes
and
an
iron
board.
However,
5-6
big
hangers
with
clips
are
suitable
for
some
clothes.
There
is
a
electric
kettle
with
2
cups
and
spoons,
free
tea
bags
and
instant
coffee,
and
a
mini
fridge.
The
safe
is
big
enough
to
store
my
laptop.
Washroom:
Rather
dated
but
function
well.
The
sink
water
is
ready
to
drink.
Nice
to
have
a
Hand-held
shower.
Ventilation
is
ok.
Two
large
towels,
2
face
towels
and
1
medium
towel,
a
box
of
tissue
are
provided.
Two
glasses
and
2
sets
of
toothbrush
and
mini
toothpaste
besides
the
sinks.
The
toothbrush
quality
was
ok.
Handwash/
bodywash
and
shampoo
is
refillable.
I
hate
the
toilet
paper
because
it's
too
thin
(I
haven't
ever
seen
like
that
in
other
hotels).
It
made
my
hand
dirty
and
forced
me
to
use
more
toilet
paper
(before
I
went
to
take
shower).

Service:
We
came
early
at
10
and
wanted
to
put
down
the
baggage
to
hotel.
The
frontdesk
staff,
Aziller,
was
very
nice
and
helpful.
She
said
to
have
only
one
room
left,
so
we
could
did
check
in
earlier
(and
we
are
hotel
nember
as
well).
Check
out
time
is
11am.
Very
long
queue
at
frontdesk
around
the
check
out
time.
No
Room
service
as
Covid
-
can
request
if
need.
Dust
on
the
floor
-
found
on
my
baggage.
So
far,
the
frontdesk
staff
were
very
polite
with
smiling
eyes
(all
were
wearing
masks).
We
had
2
free
welcome
drinks
at
Le
Bar
in
the
afternoon.
The
drinks
were
average.The
breakfast
buffet,
$21
has
Western,
Chinese,
Maylaysian
and
Indian
food
and
drinks-
good
value.
But
I
tried
the
Express
Menu
(breakfast
or
lunck,
$8++)
that
promoted
in
the
lifts.
Only
the
captain/manager
Sha
know
and
able
to
handle
it.
The
catering
staff
either
Le
bar
or
Taste
lacked
of
smiles
(they
didn't
wear
masks)
except
the
one
who
didn't
know
how
to
serve
us
a
iced
coffee.
He
only
served
us
half
cup
of
hot
tea
and
coffee.
He
gave
us
a
half
teacup
of
hot
coffee
with
3-4
ice
cubes
and
a
staw.
I
asked
abd
show
him
to
give
me
full
cup
of
hot
tea.
After
given
me
a
full
cup
of
hot
tea,
he
suddenly
gave
us
a
tall
glass
with
few
ice
cubes.
He
let
us
do
or
correct
it
on
our
own.
So
weird!
He
is
a
part-time
or
new
staff?
Maybe
he
recalled
how
an
iced
coffee
ought
to
be.
They
need
more
training.---

Other
facilities:
Gym,
carpark,
and
bicycle
for
rent.
I
didn't
use
it.
Location:
very
good.
Few
minutes
walk
distance
to
MRT
stations
(approx.
Bencoolen
6mins,
Bugis
5mins,
Rocher
4mins).
Bus
stops
are
just
in
front
of
the
hotel.
Albert
food
Centre,
street
market,
A
Chinese
Template,
and
Hindu
Temple
are
behind
the
hotel.
Also,
good
for
shopping
as
various
shopping
malls
and
places
nearby,
like
Albert
OG,
3
New
Bugis
Street,
Bugis+,
Bugis
junctions,
Sim
Laim
Square.
About
10+
minutes
walk
to
Famous
Sultan
Mosque
and
Haji
Lane.
