Hotel has a great location, but rooms are tiny for 2 people. We had to ask for a shower curtain to be installed in the good room king, which is surprising to have to ask since for such a tiny space, the bathroom would’ve been covered in water after a shower. I don’t think a shower curtain should be something you need to request. We upgraded to a greater room king which was slightly better in terms of size. Rooms are clean but customer/front desk service was mediocre. AC is fixed at 22 degrees (and it’s really hotter than that) and for a hotel, it’s got several rules posted in the room which also ruins the whole experience and makes it feel like a dorm rather than a boutique hotel. The hotel doesn’t really know what it wants to be brand wise. There also isn’t a real lobby. The first floor you enter/exit from is mostly occupied by Ginett and you enter through a fairly unadorned passageway. Finally, everywhere is dark. The gym feels like a cave despite being on the third floor. The lobby is dim and even the rooms don’t get bright. Overall, it’s okay for a night or two especially if you upgrade to the Greater Room.

4 nights stay in December 2022 in a 'Good Room' (smallest available). Thoroughly enjoyable stay! 5-star service, 5-star amenities, in a 3.5-star space (in terms of surface area), but offset by a 5-star location. Every time the reception were friendly, helpful, and kind - housekeeping staff too. Bed is very comfortable. Nice TV and radio. Everything you need in terms of kettle, tea/coffee, toiletries, towels, work space (but not huge). Surprisingly nice view from the room on 15/F. A couple of flies here and there but nothing serious and unexpected considering it is in the middle of a dense urban space in the tropics. Gym is nice: treadmills, bikes, weights, etc. It is excellent value and quality if you need a quiet, peaceful, self-sufficient place to rest. We were here to attend a friend's wedding so spent most of the time out and about, but the time in the hotel was very restful and comfortable indeed. Would revisit if we are in Singapore again.

Came here for 3 days 2 night stay with family. Taken the standard room, quite small but serve its purpose with decent bed, washroom, toiletries etc for night stay as we didn’t spend too much time at hotel. Hot water need to take from water dispenser outside the rooms. Breakfast that comes together is provided by 25 Degree with several breakfast options with choice of tea or coffee.

The room was really small. It had only one regular power outlet. When I asked for plates, I was told they don't have them which is weird considering they have a functioning restaurant. The stay was okayish, nothing too great.

    - Room is smaller than advertised. - The shower and toilet is in the same place which makes the toilet wet entirely after shower. - I couldn’t sleep in peace, kept waking up in the middle of the night due to noises/ knocking. - The mattress is comfortable but the pillow is too soft - The bed was directly facing the room door which I feel very uncomfortable. - Overall, good location but don’t think will recommend.

Its an OK hotel to stay for 2 nights. But not recommended for long stay. Design is unique but no fridge or wardrobe. Has gym but no swimming pool. Place your stuff on the floor lah. I Stay in level 14 for 6 nights got 1 day housekeeping and then move to good room queen level 6 for 7 days and no housekeeping for 7 nights. Saw the housekeeping in the tunnel when we went out for day trip at 9 Am when we come back at 4PM still in the same spot in the tunnel but room is still a mess. Housekeeping rang the room at 16:43 PM when I am in the shower and really? Its definitely the wrong timing. The next day thought give it another try requesting house keeping but when we came back at 2pm its still a mess. The funny thing is the housekeeper likes to hanging out in the tunnel but I guess no job is done. I wonder

Great Spot and super clean! Cozy rooms and friendly staff, accommodating all your needs. The biggest advantage of the hotel is the great location. Close to shopping mall, street food places and public transport. The rooms are cozy however, small. Perfect for solo or couples stays. The staff is friendly and try to accommodate your needs at all times. I would say that the only thing that needs a bit of an update would be a breakfast menu. It is quite basic set menu. A buffet would be nice. Overall, everything was good!

This is a good budget option that's kind on the wallet and reasonably comfortable. Pros - 1) Great location, centrally located and easily accessible via bus/MRT. 2) Good dining options around. 3) Tastefully done rooms. 4) Strong wifi, good for work. Cons - 1) Rooms can be a bit of a tight squeeze for 2 people.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel G. We were in a room on the top floor, which was good to have as we could here no outside or road noise from the room. The room is on the smaller side, but was big enough for the two of us. It was clean, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Location is good, with a good amount of places to eat nearby, and a couple of subway stations within 10 minutes walk. The staff were friendly and overall the hotel is good value for money.

Hotel G is exactly as advertised. Something I find to be less and less common these days. The Hotel is quite centrally located with quite easy access to the local railway and bus services. Underneath the hotel are several restaurants offering exceptional food. The staff were impeccable - responsive, kind and friendly. It was an absolute treat dealing with all of their staff members. There is always somebody available at reception to assist you with any of your needs. Room cleaning occurs on a daily basis and the entire hotel is kept quite tidy. I am beyond satisfied with the facilities offered and will be recommending it to anybody visiting Singapore. Keep up the great effort!!

I had a four day trip to Singapore, so the location was convenient to get everywhere that I needed to cover. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Although my room was small, I didn't mind that as much as the fact that there was no separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, so the entire toilet area got wet whenever I showered, no matter how careful I was. Other than that, I had an excellent stay.

Stayed there for a week- The Hotel is in a very central location, excellent service, really good breakfast and lot of dining options nearby. Room size is small but we were able to manage with 2 large suitcases and 2 backpacks. It is not a deal breaker. Only sour point is the air circulation is bad. If you are ashtmatic or having issues of frequent rhinitis or sinusitis then i wldnt suggest this hotel.. The rooms are always maintained and clean !

Very nice location, convenience to move around. Room is well designed although very small. Breakfast is wonderful, more than sufficient! But no room service even asking me on the check in counter what is the suitable time to do it! The bed is nice but the quilt blanket was sew up on the bottom, and it can't cover up to my neck!

I am writing to express my utmost satisfaction and appreciation for the exceptional experience I had during my recent stay at Hotel G in Singapore. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is near to shopping streets, malls, MRT and bus stops. You can also find temple and night market near to the hotel. The staffs are courteous and helpful. The service was good. The rooms are cozy and very clean. However the design of the rooms are perfect. The rooms are nice if you are roaming all the day and just come to the hotel to get a good sleep. One thing necessary for the room that was missing is a wardrobe. Its a good stay for couple of nights in a great location.

This was our 2ns time at this hotel. We brought friends along as being quite reasonable prices and location is great. We thought that after 2 years closed because of COVID the hotel.should be spotless clean, but no. It is worst than last time we came. Shower has mold, rust spots and dust everywhere. The curtain blinds id the room were full of dust, we opened them and a cloud of dust flew.over our heads. As we came with friends and we had in total 3 rooms we dis also check.whith them, same story in the bathroom and the room. But most important and to underline is that when you check in they inform they wont clean the room daily unless you stay 3 consecutive nights!!! it was a definitely "no" for us all. We got the room clean daily at least. The restaurants have good vibes and are nice, they close at midnight so at around 2230 we decided to have a drink. At the Ginett we asked for a spot to sit (it was quite empty already) but the person (seems to be the one in charge) try to encourage the waiter to say there was no place to us... When we thought in coming back to Singapore, we decided to stay at this hotel again thinking after COVID will be even better than before. Unfortunately for us: bathroom dirtier, no shower curtain, dust, elevators are filthy and staff at the bars and restaurants unpleasant... Thank you anyway.

Had my Staycation at the start of the September school holidays. Room is one of the smaller ones I have stayed in, but it is very cosy and extremely clean. The toilet itself is well maintained and their staff are friendly. Location is great. The hotel ground floor has several restaurants that you should check out, and Fortune Centre (opposite) also have many hidden food gems until 11pm on weekends - Try out Japanese food on the 3rd floor, traditional Chinese desserts on the 2nd floor or vegetarian shops on the 1st. At ground floor, 25 degrees serve awesome burgers and Ginett is literally packed every night. The hotel is along Middle Road, and is walking distance from Bugis (About 10 min) and Dhoby Ghaut (About 20 min). Tip: Their lobby is on the 2nd floor and if you are taking a cab, make sure they drive into the carpark and drop you at the 2nd floor lobby, as cars cannot stop along the main road outside the hotel due to traffic.

Booked this via KKDay promotion. To reach the hotel, you can take MRT to Bendemeer and walk. Once you reach, you need to climb the stairs of the restaurant (Twenty Five Degrees) at L1, then take the stairs or lift to L3. Lobby is small, but dark, sleek and cozy. Staff are patient and excellent in their service. If coming by car, I'm not sure where to enter from, but the carpark leads to the lobby of the hotel at L3 (not the restaurant). There's a gymnasium in the hotel, but that's probably all there is to facilities. Gym requires booking of timeslots due to COVID-19 restrictions. They have free wifi and allow for late check-out (2pm). Check-in starts at 3pm. The hotel rooms are small but cozy. We chose the king-sized bed, and as you see in pictures, it's sort of a 1-room apartment, with a mini side table, bed, toilet and wash basin on the outside. Wash basin is slightly awkward and small, but manageable. Shower cubicle and toilet bowl is just separated by a thick curtain, but there is a glass door with no lock to close the toilet. They have a safe, kettle, tea/coffee packets, mugs, glasses, hairdryer, shower equipment like towels, shampoo, body wash, conditioner. Just like how a hotel would. Minus the fridge. They also have breakfast as an add-on, plus other promotions like $1 chicken wings on Monday and alcohol. The TV allows you to tune in to some of the free channels like BBC and local channels, plus radio. You can also use screen mirroring. There is little to no ventilation, as there's only a small window beside the bed which you can open. And you might as well not open it cuz the other side is another building which doesn't help in bringing in more wind or fresh air. Overall a really cozy place to stay in, and given the price and promotion, I find it really worth the stay! Might consider again if there are similar promotions!

As I am 5'11" my legs couldn't stretch on the bed. The wall to wall with bed was rather tight. It was also difficult to shower but that's just me. I think it works perfectly alright for someone 4-5.5" tall. Anyway, the reception staffs are extremely helpful and professional. Property is well situated near all the major amenities and easily accessible by the MRT.

We had a very nice stay. It is easily accessible by metro (multiple different metro stops are around). We knew the room would be small (as is the case in Singapore). However it was bigger than we anticipated (king room). We did sleep with ear plugs as we are not used to lots of sounds around, but we do that in every hotel. All in all can really recommend the hotel!

My recent stay at Hotel Gin Bugis Singapore was delightful. The room was cozy, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The central location made it easy to explore nearby attractions and dining options. While the room was a bit compact, it was well-designed, and the modern amenities added to the overall comfort. A great choice for me!

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. Superb location, helpful staff, and decent room on top of that. I expected a much smaller room since it's SG after all, but it was pretty spacey for 2 people. I'll come back for sure!

As a business traveler it was my first visit here. The room is small but has everything you’d need. Super tidy and clean. High-quality and comfortable bed, pillows and sheets. Friendly and quick service staff. Good water pressure. A great bar and a burger place on the first floor. In a nutshell, minimalistic and efficient. I will definitely visit again. Four thumbs up!

I don’t have any photo of the room neither hotel but I highly recommended this hotel. I stay for 5 days and 4 nights on family room, the room is spasious and clean with quality room amenities. The price is very cheap for all you can get staying in this hotel. I’m in love with this hotel and definitely will come back again.

The room was extremely tight and had a very bad orientation of bed and television and other amenities. Even for a solo traveler, it was too small. My feet were not resting on the bed if I had to sleep straight. For tall and big profile people, it will give very much a claustrophobic feel.

Rooms are small but just enough for 2 people. They allow you to store luggage prior to check in and after check out. Love the location, Bencoolen MRT is only 3 mins walk away and bus stops nearby. Restaurants and 7-11 are also nearby. No bidet and no divider between toilet and shower.

This is my first time traveling to Singapore, Hotel G has become the best memory of my stay here. I have stayed here many times and this was the worst experience ever. I went out early in the morning, and when I came back in the afternoon, my room hadn't been cleaned yet, so when I called, they gave me an excuse that the staff wasn't there. Only the towels were replaced. He said he would come in 5 minutes, but he didn't come for over 30 minutes. The response is also appropriate. I will never come again.

Perfect hotel for both private and business stay. Convenient location close to a few metro stations and the bay is also within walking distance. Nice and clean rooms, although could be a little bit larger, are equipped properly. Very good and diversified breakfast, with many vegetarian options, available from 7 a.m. Outstanding relation of price to quality.

I’m so happy we chose this place to stay during our Singapore trip last week! The rooms are cozy and comfortable with everything you need. The restaurant has a welcoming ambience and it really lights up at night . Breakfast was delicious and starts sharp at 7:00 am . The american restaurant 25 degrees is also very good. The location is very near to nearby MRT stations and 7-11s.Great value for money

Pros: -Good location with lots of food around -Fuss free check in and check out Cons: -Room is kinda small -No fridge -Cleanliness not that ideal: I opened the curtains and saw this thick layer of dust on the window sill before promptly closing the curtains before I could get to sneeze -Please consider adding a comb to your toiletries. Ain't no one needs a shower cap or body lotion. You gave a hairdryer, and hence I need a comb 🥲 -Room walls are thin... I was unlucky enough to get a noisy guest adjacent to my room who was on the phone until 2-3am...

Booked this hotel for 5 nights. No complaints about their service and cleanliness as it was top class. We took a good size king room and it had decent space and not that spacious. They have spacious at a higher cost as well. If you are looking for early check in, mail them in advance so that they can keep it ready but you will be charged.

This is the 'Sleep and Go' hotel concept. The room was small, as depicted in the hotel pictures but have many convenient stuff in the room. However, one downside for me was the absence of a shower hose. Overall was acceptable.

Stayed over for a night. Room was pretty small at the price of $160SGD a night. The room will be just perfect for a person. If is a couple, do go for a bigger room esp if u have more than 2 cabin luggage. Bed was perfect, sound proofing was excellent. Toilet water pressure was perfect. The only down side was the sink is along the room walkway which likely u will wet the room floor if u have too big action washing your hand at the sink Location was perfect as it was close to the town and plenty of food option. So overall, beside the room is small, i guess the price you paid is for the restbof the good stuffs i mentioned

Very expensive for this product. Admittedly it was Chinese new year. Tiny room with a slit as a window. Shower door was broken, water splashed into the room. Entrance to the hotel through a restaurant. Air condition was good but blowing onto the bed. No amenities available, [ tea or coffee ]. Front office staff too busy to be friendly. I will not return. This room was not booked by myself. No TV program available, streaming from own device possible.

Great staycation experience with attention to detail and well-mannered staff who made the experience delightful and comfortable. Good location situated in the middle of town but away from the hustle and bustle. We will definitely recommend for budget-conscious couples as the King suite is suitable for newlyweds who do not need a luxurious hotel getaway :)

Pretty new and trendy boutique hotel here. Love the F&B outlets - their Sunday brunch with free flow is a great way to watch the world goes by , remember to book as it’s generally full ! Tried the burgers here and love it too, plenty of eateries around here as well.

Booked a weekday 2D1N deal with complementary late check out till 2pm and free breakfast for 2 at their restaurant 25° from Traveloka. It was for the smallest room "Good Queen Room" (about 13sqm). The check in process was fast and the staff at the checkins were very polite and friendly. Just have to ensure that your IC is provided and checkin form filled in. Was given a room at the 24th floor. It was small and cosy. A good staycation for couples but maybe a family of 3 or 4 will have to book bigger rooms. Room was decently clean and comfy, and nicely decorated. 2x500ml of plain water was provided in a cool packaging (see pics). One important thing to note about the room was that there was NO FRIDGE. Breakfast at 25° is walk-in and on prem seating is based on first come first served. Breakfast is served 7am-10am. Went there about 9am and managed to get the last few seats. Those that came later had to get takeaways or wait longer. Chose American Breakfast with tea and was provided with some fruits and croissants as it took quite some time for the mains to be prepared. The croissants and american breakfast were good though! Will definitely want to come back someday for this affordable quick getaway!

Small and simple hotel perfect for the weekend getaway. Luxious food at the Ginnet Restaurant too, thanks to the included $50 voucher. Just make sure to make a booking before your check in, else may not have a slot available.

Book a great king room for a 3d2n stay at hotel G. The room is still small in my opinion. Housekeeping did not replenish shower gel and shampoo. Initially thought the hotel would provide complimentary parking ticket but upon requesting , reception mention that my room package does not have complimentary ticket and would have to pay $15 for it. Overall not a bad place to stay.

  • 1/5 TRICIA N. 2 years ago on Google
Second time staying, had a great experience the first time. But not as pleasant as the first. As everything were included previously - complimentary parking ticket and lunch. This time round, the receptionist argued that my room package does not have complimentary ticket (which I don’t see any options on the booking) and I would have to pay $15 for it. Not about paying, but it just ends my staycation in a bad way.

I have an upcoming booking at the hotel. Called the hotel hotline at 6809 7988 at around 8pm last evening and all my calls went unattended. Another round of calls were made this morning and all calls were not answered again. This is unacceptable standard from a 4 star hotel. With this standard, I am now worried about the safety and experience of my upcoming stay.

Customer service is good, with options for early check-in and late check-out even during national day week. Room is kinda small. King bed looks like a Queen. Room not really suitable to have meals, unless you want to dirty the bed. For muslims, no bidet spray. Also, no fridge. Sleep is good. Bed and pillows are clean and comfy.

Room was a bit small but it was clean and comfortable. No fridge, and power points are only located on one side of the bed but it wasn't really a big issue to me. Breakfast at Ginett was great, check-in was fast and fuss-free, and the staff were friendly. Overall a great stay!

Room-cosy but small, nothing special to me Staff-reception are friendly but the housekeeping department service not good , request a bottle water is take about half hours to send to your room. Being below the bar and restaurant was very convenient. Staff were excellent and room was clean however there were some issues with the room. The wet rooms weren't appropriate for anything more than a 2 minute shower- the bathroom door wouldn't close fully causing the entire room to steam up. The sink being in the bedroom area meant a lot of water ended up on the floor and combined with the steam all of my stuff got damp. The shower had mould and the drainage system was not working properly causing the room to smell of sewage at times. There wasn't anywhere to store clothes except a couple of hangers and a small shelf. Overall I wouldn't recommend staying here for more than 1 or 2 nights and I think it was quite expensive for what it was

Nice enough hotel with two great restaurants downstairs. The room was a bit small but for the price and location we couldn’t complain. There was an issue with the housekeeping when they didn’t change our bedsheets or make the bed because there were “too many personal items on the bed”🤔 I’ve stayed in many hotels and never heard that one before. The wine bar and burger place serve great food and wine at reasonable prices, beer however is very expensive.

The staff was very friendly, helpful & accommodating. Especially Natalie, in helping us set up the prepaid card & giving directions. The room was smaller but it was clean, cozy and has the basic things that is needed (hairdryer, towels, good water pressure etc)! Will definitely come back again for future stays ☺️

The room was small but comfortable and clean... all good on that side. But it was noisy. I could hear all the drunk noisy guests going to their rooms in the middle of the night. And early morning I could hear the hotel music playing in the corridor. Breakfast was ok but with very limited choice of food.

The star rating of hotel is 4 stars.. But I would give 5 stars to it. Although the room we chose was small. Around 11sq mtr. But was more than sufficient for me my wife and my kid. We had an Amazing stay. The staff and service is top notch and the location cannot get any better. The only con was the breakfast. I am a vegetarian so not many options were available for me. Other than that. Highly recommended

Daryl of the front desk was very helpful in arranging for a suitable room for my work from hotel stay. The Great room is minimalistic but has a really good-sized desk for working and nice corkboard to put your notes. TV is too small and high up on the wall IMO, lacking mirroring for Apple devices. The main draw of the hotel is that it’s conveniently located with many different types of food options nearby (vegetarian, burgers, dim sum, Thai, Japanese). Would also recommend breakfast at the hotel restaurant as it’s pretty affordable even on ala carte basis. The gym is small but functional and quiet so you have the space to yourself. All in all a good place for an affordable getaway or change in work environment.

Is cozy room but no mini bar and if the hotel is overwhelming it difficult to reach the reception. Although they will provide the service that they can help you to chill for u but still hv to call them to bring up. But I never though the 4* hotel is quite a budget looking. I feel it should be 3*

It was a very nice stay. Rooms were very clean and the staff were amazing as well. Vibes and decor was on point as well. Very worth for what you are paying. The location was great as there were many nice hidden gems around the area. Safe for a late night walk as well. We are locals but we discovered many new places nearby too. Local food, restaurants, lan shops, bars, pastry shops, cafes, bubble tea shops and malls were all walking distance away. The doors were just a bit too thin as you could hear the outside.

Our favorite hotel during a 3 month world trip. Location is amazing. Rooms are cozy and well designed. Extremely comfortable beds. Very quiet and you can get great sleep. Cleaning available daily if you want. Price is fair for central Singapore.

For a standard single room it's clean and good service. All order responded quickly. A little bit too small but still okay and comfortable for sleeping after exploring Singapore. Fast internet and fine TV channels. The best is the toiletries, it smells good

Room is small with thin walls. The interior design is pretty unique. Pillow don’t provide much support. Gym is decently well equipped. Service staff was pretty helpful and amiable. Notable Daryl who went above and beyond in ensuring we had an enjoyable stay (after having a night of disrupted rest - thanks to noisy neighbhour) Really kudos to his prompt and very helpful service.

Overall it's good, but there are stairs to climb to get to the hotel lobby on the second floor. The rooms are a bit small, but everything else is fine.

Stayed here for the 1st time in January 2020 and it was the perfect place to stay that was in walking distance of pretty much everything. Loved the morning breakfast spread, it had so much more than a continental breakfast, and the espresso/latte machine was awesome. Loved the cheese spread and salad bar! The rooms were perfect, there was a desk which we definitely took advantage of to do some work on the laptop and the bathroom was nice and roomy. Definitely a great place to stay at again!

Love the Great King Room... It even had a projector for outdoor screening which my wife and I enjoyed during the visit.

Great place to stay. Rooms are a bit small but for the price you can't complain. Also, it's a bit of a walk to Marina Bay too
