My
partner
and
I
had
the
pleasure
of
staying
with
SO
Singapore
from
14/01/22
-
16/01/22,
while
we
were
impressed
by
the
comfort
and
facilities
available
in
the
suite.
There
were
many
incidents
which
led
us
to
believe
that
the
hotel
is
short
staffed
&
we
were
terrible
disappointed.
1.
Poor
manning
of
the
front
desk
phone
-
Multiple
calls
had
to
be
made
prior
to
book
in
before
we
were
connected
-
We
were
locked
out
of
the
front
door
on
day
2
and
the
front
desk
could
not
be
reached,
requiring
us
to
physically
proceed
to
the
front
desk
to
seek
assistance
-
Multiple
calls
had
to
again
be
made
when
requesting
for
amenities.
Front
desk
doubted
us
when
we
told
them
we
had
no
bathrobes
in
our
room
-
iPhone
in
Suite
broke
down
during
stay,
requiring
us
to
use
the
telephone
in
the
toilet
for
communication
2.
Overwriting
of
room
key
-
We
were
carrying
several
heavy
objects
to
our
room
on
day
2,
only
to
find
that
our
room
keys
stopped
working
-
This
was
compounded
by
the
fact
that
the
front
desk
was
uncontactable
-
A
new
key
had
to
be
issued,
which
did
not
seem
like
a
rare
occurrence
when
speaking
to
the
staff
on
the
ground
-
this
is
unacceptable
given
the
difficulty
in
communicating
with
the
front
desk
3.
Dual
roles
of
front
desk
staff
as
restaurant
waiters
-
The
front
desk
staff
appeared
to
also
function
(unsuccessfully)
as
waiters
-
Our
package
included
half
board
on
15/01/22
-
We
communicated
a
booking
at
7pm
but
were
delayed
till
8.30pm
-
When
we
arrived,
their
staff
appeared
terribly
displeased
and
annoyed
that
we
were
late
-
She
further
insisted
that
the
restaurant
was
taking
last
orders
at
9pm
and
seemed
to
turn
us
away
-
We
had
to
insist
to
take
dinner
as
it
was
included
in
our
package
-
Subsequently,
many
exasperated
sighs
could
be
heard
while
she
took
our
orders.
Her
tone
was
downright
impatient
and
rude
-
The
entire
experience
left
us
feeling
insulted
and
unwelcomed
at
the
hotel,
so
much
so
that
we
did
not
even
want
to
have
our
breakfast
there
the
next
morning
The
hotel's
facilities
were
excellent,
but
the
service
had
unfortunately
marred
the
experience.
I
hope
that
this
can
be
rectified
for
future
guests.
