Excellent value for the location. You're close to Orchard Road without being on it. There is a small mall next door if you need anything for an emergency. A well-kept clean hotel room with great amenities. The gym is decent as was the pool. Unfortunately i didn't get to do the breakfast buffet - maybe next time. I had no issues with my stay. Ultimately, I do trust the Jen Hotel brand which is why I chose this hotel, and would come back here. Recommended.

Affordable pricing, complimentary parking for a certain amount spent for the buffet. Quite a wife spread of food prepared. Service was great Ambience is excellent. Will definitely come again!

I had an awful experience in this hotel. Before my last night, we noticed the bed area smelt foul but were so tired we just slept. In the morning when we were packing, I flipped the sheets to find out I had slept in either rotten food or poo smeared all over the sheets. We left for the airport and later contacted the hotel. They did not care whatsoever and offered me free breakfast the next time I visit - as if I would ever visit such a filthy place ever again. Do not waste your time or money here - Singapore has so many nice hotels and this is not one of them

Good spread of food! Excellent taste. HALAL certified too..Muslim friends can dine at ease. Ample space for eating. Rooms were satisfactory and clean! Staffs were polite and patient with queries and service. Overall recommended.

Stayed here for three nights in January. Brilliant location, right next to the MRT Orchard Boulevard and only a 15 min walk to the Botanical Gardens which is a must see. Room size was good, comfy beds and everything you would want in a room to have a comfortable stay. Great selection of food for breakfast. Didn't use the leisure facilities but they looked good. Would recommend staying here as the location is excellent for exploring Singapore.

The hotel is nice in general Nice staff Nice food. Nice rooms. No iron inside the room. Internet speed is not good Health club is a little old but it's fine. They don't have decaffeinated coffee inside the room. Only regular coffee.

Fast, lovely, and accommodating service. Location is very convenient and accessible to most SG tourist destinations (through TEL). Rooms are clean, comfy, and well-designed; a bit cramped but very manageable. Overall, a 9.5/10 experience!

In the last week of October my family and I stayed at the Jen Tanglin which is a wonderful property and is perfect for a city break. The club room I stayed in was clean and cozy. Additionally, I must highlight the convenience of the hotel being situated next to the metro, this made exploring the city even more accessible for us. I would like to specifically acknowledge the outstanding service provided by Daniella at the Club lounge. She is a true professional and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was delightful.

This is a great location for decent price. There's a train station just across the street (Orchard Boulevard), several bus stops within a few minutes walking distance, and a mall and supermarket around the corner (Tanglin mall). If you're into nature, the botanic garden is also within walking distance. If you're into shopping or night life, orchard road is also within walking distance. There's a seven eleven around the corner that's open 24 hours, and even cafes and a McDonald's that are open round the clock. There's a currency exchange machine downstairs. Their rates aren't great, but in a pinch it's handy. They also have a complementary gym that's open 24/7, and that also have a complimentary sauna and jacuzzi. All in all, it's nice, convenient, and a decent place to stay in.

A very convenient location,just off orchard street, metro station bang opposite the lobby.rooms are clean,with all the amenities like mini fridge,tea kettle, toiletries etc. Staff really polite and helpful. The breakfast was a decent spread with local and international dishes. Rooms could have been slightly bigger and wish there were jet spays/hand held bidets in the toilets...all in all a great stay.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel although the pillows were way to soft for my liking. You might want to request for a firmer one if you don’t want to have a sore neck the next day. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. It is also in a fairly convenient location with access to Tanglin mall. It has some interesting eateries, cafes (like PAUL) and a grocer beneath. The cafe has very interesting dinner arrangements with a wide array of offering.

Good stay. The staff was excellent and helpful. The rooms were OK. I upgraded to the club floor but my room had a leak from the bathroom ceiling. Although it was promptly fixed, it took time out of my day. The food was average-the offerings during the nightly buffet was not rotated often enough to maintain freshness or avoid being over-heated. The pool was excellent!

We are enjoying our stay here. The rooms are a great value compared to other similar hotels in the immediate area, and the service has been wonderful. We reserved the family package, which provides two adjoining rooms for an incredible price. The setup is perfect for us traveling with a teenager. You enter through double doors at the end of the hallway and find yourself in a vestibule with two doors - one door for each of the two rooms. This provides for some separation and privacy between the connected rooms while also providing us with the ability to monitor the comings and goings of our teenager who loves feeling like he has more privacy and freedom. Sometimes, you can really see how great a place is by watching them solve a problem, and we definitely saw that here at JEN. There was a particularly vexing technical glitch preventing my son's keycard from working properly. At least four staffers tried to fix it. Multiple staffers even walked up to the room to test their solutions. Everyone was super nice and very empathetic and tried their best. The issue was finally resolved by the manager who figured out a work around for the glitch. The situation showed us just how much the staff here care and how hard they'll work to fix problems. Truly, this was a staff who really wants to make things right. 10/10 would stay here again

My wife and I booked this location for our wedding. The service given was impeccable. Xinyi, the person in charge of our wedding, assisted us completely throughout the process, from the start of the preparations all the way down to the final day. Other staff members were very willing to help solve our problems on the big day itself. The decor is superb, and the food quality is awesome. We're happy to recommend this place to anyone finding a place to hold their wedding!

I was there for the Ramadan Buffet at J65 and it was a pleasant experience. I'm normally not a fan of buffet for Iftar but this was a good experience. I felt that there was a decent range/variety of food that would appeal to everyone, and the offerings were good too. The hot tea was a hit - perfection. Service was also good - the staff was quick to attend to our requests, and were friendly as well. One suggestion would be to leave dates for breaking fast on the tables of those who were there to break fast (we did have to look around for the dates on our own). The gong used to announce the time to break fast was a nice touch. Would recommend anyone (fasting or otherwise) to visit and enjoy the wide array of food.

I was there to pick up an item my friend left behind and was frustrated that I had to wait nearly 30 min just for housekeeping to bring the item. You would think I was retrieving a grand piano that needs to be carried down slowly, when it was just an iPhone cable in a plastic bag. That said, I had a nice time admiring the modern lobby! I was wondering what’s with the “bicycles” on the wall and if the hotel offered bicycles for rental, but still, cute aesthetics and the chairs in the lobby were super comfy too!

Staff at check-in counter is very helpful and warm. A MRT station is just opposite to the front door of the hotel, very convenient. However, there are still improvement area for house keeping such as to well equipped with the necessary towel and amenities before customer check-in and refill used items daily.

We held our wedding dinner banquet recently at Hotel Jen Tanglin. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the team for making the whole experience a smooth and great one. Since day one, Xin Yi (event sales manager) has been very responsive, friendly and accommodating to our request. On the actual day, the banquet manager, Joey was so detailed, attentive and responsive to our request and we felt that he has done more than he should. He has assisted us every step of the way from the solemnization to the banquet and even my mum noticed that he did a great job. As for our stay, there was nothing to complain about and everyone we encountered from the front desk reception to the porter to the housekeeping staff to the restaurant and lounge staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a great overall experience and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

We are very pleased with our wedding sales manager, Vaal. She helps us quite a lot during our wedding preparation and replies promptly if we have any queries (We did really ask her a lot of questions). With her help, we have one less worry in our mind and focus on other areas. As for banquet manager, Joey, he is paying attention to every little detail to ensure our wedding banquet goes smoothly. The timing including 2nd march-in is impeccable and this is all thanks to Joey coordination. Once again, my wife, Serene and I appreciates both of your help. Both of you have made our wedding a truly magical experience.

Very comfortable hotel in a good location, great food. My gripe is the language difference can be a barrier so flyer or similar with lunch or dinner pricing on them so no misunderstanding would be helpful. I thought a lunch was $17 but turned out to be $70, I didn't dine and was very annoyed at the time as up to that point could not fault the hotel, but definitely soured my overall impression, especially when no one took accountability for the misunderstanding.

The room is spacious, sound insulation is very good, can have a good sleep without hearing the traffic noise. The location is very good, 30 second walk to mrt station. The service is good, room is clean.

I recently (Sept 2023) had the pleasure of having a corporate buffet lunch at J65, the halal-certified all-day dining restaurant at the Jen Singapore Tanglin Hotel. I was very impressed with the food and hotel service, especially from Micheal, who went the extra mile to find a suitable quiet space for me to pray. One of his colleagues initially suggested using the meeting rooms, but because he was not sure if they were available, Micheal made sure to find a much more suitable quiet place. He was very understanding, helpful and sensitive to the needs of the guests, and I was very grateful for his assistance. I would highly recommend travelers to Jen hotel, as well as to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable corporate buffet lunch at J65. On a separate note, it would be good if the hotel Management consider to install bidet or water spray at the common area/public area (near J65) toilets. Thank you again, Micheal!

The experience at the hotel was great starting from arrival to the room, lobby, Training rooms and restaurants. Most importantly the staff were courteous, respectful, warm and attentive. They made me feel at home and were at my beck and call. I love my stay very much and would love to go back there.

I stayed 6 nights with my teenage daughter. The location is perfect with MRT station right in front of the hotel, makes it easy for us to go everywhere. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The bed is comfortable. The restaurant is halal certified so we can eat everything with a peace of mind. The breakfast buffet is amazing and they have two cheerful chefs at the noodle section which lovely to see. Thank you, Jen Tanglin.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for a family staycation with kids. There’s a kids pool and adults pool, a health club and a gym. Food is available till late at Jen’s kitchen on-the-go. A special mention to Jonel and colleagues there who were lovely and made the experience memorable. Buffet breakfast was nice with a live noodle and egg station. You can access Tanglin mall via a link bridge on level 2. We had a comfortable and restful family holiday.

We had a wonderful stay at Jen hotel. The service was excellent, the room comfortable, and dinner buffet was very nice. Jesselle kindly gave us a late check out and we really appreciated that.

We had room 1537 and stayed for 4 nights in November 2023. The check in was fast and the room was quite decent – but also quite traditional in the layout. There was a small wardrobe with a few hangers, a safe, a small fridge, water boiler, a desk and a small sofa. The bed was big and quite comfortable! There were lots of international plugs and even USB-A ports for charging by the desk and bedside. Lighting was good and there was a main switch by the bedside. There was of course a TV on the wall with a few channels. The bathroom was small but functional with the sliding door. The shampoo, shower gel and conditioner were kept in dispensers on the wall in the shower and had a pleasant scent to them and came across as good products. The shower was good with warm water and good pressure. The wifi worked fine without any login. There were robes and slippers in the room and there is a decent outdoor pool! Breakfast was served at ground level and the selection was great. Cereal, yogurts, fruit, Indian/Malay flavours, egg station etc. I was not super impressed with the coffee, but it was actually made from grinding beans. The staff did not manage to keep up with the crowds during peak hour at breakfast and hence there was a lack of cups, tables were not cleaned and set up with new cutlery, fruits ran out, coffee machines halted etc. Location of the hotel is good – it is a short walk to Orachard road and there is an MRT station across the road from the hotel. All in all, a pretty good hotel and I would not mind staying there again if I return to Singapore.

Outdated room with dirty sofa in the room. Daily breakfast was normal. Range is not that big. Friendly service staffs is why I give it a 3 stars. Location wise is at one end of the orchard road near to the US Embassy and China Embassy. A close proximity to Botanical Garden which enable me to go for a run.

Impressed by this hotel. Clean, modern, and a stone’s throw to the east-west brown line. It was very convenient to get around this beautiful city (side note they are constructing an airport line extending the brown line from the Marina hotel directly to the airport). It wasn’t a hassle to get one large check in, two carry ons with 2 backpack and one shopping bag through the red then transfer to brown line to get to the hotel. The staff has been nothing but amazing. I say a good deal. Adjacent to Tanglin mall- there are eateries and a pharmacy within the mall.

Great location near gardens and connecting with a mall that has heaps of eating options. Pool is beautiful and comes with food options. Rooms are quiet and very comfortable. Our choice for any stopover longer than 14 hours.

It was a great experience staying in Jen Hotel for 2days1night. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room is clean and huge. The pool is nice, which is a very nice place to chill and have a drink over there. It is also convenient to walk to orchard road for more shopping to do with . Room is on the small side but the furnishing is really bright and the service staff are excellent! The doorman would greet me every time and the club lounge staff, though busy with service, were always pleasant! All the staff were friendly and helpful and I can tell they are passionate about customer service at Hotel Jen. I witnessed a manager getting unnecessarily berated by a very condescending guest (even I felt enraged on her behalf) but she kept her cool and was incredibly pleasant and patient with him. Would stay here again for sure, solely for the top-notch service.

Price point is a little high to make it a regular visit. So it's a once-in-a-while indulgence for us =) Would be even better if the warm food can be kept warmer and if there were more drinks to select from. The service was great! The chefs and servers were all very friendly. Even though we couldn't take the buffet food for ourselves due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the servers and chef made sure to ask if it was enough and even gave reccommendations. Plates were cleared promptly too.

Comfortable ambience, fusion of Asian dining with alfresco dining. Good quality food, especially the pineapple rice and soft shell crab. Very thoughtful staff. Special thanks to Alice, Obama and Prabu who took effort to accommodate our children's needs and helped made our meal a pleasure.

It is a decent dining experience here. You can bring friends and family or even anniversary dinner with your partner. It could not beat some buffets in Singapore but it was still satisfying. We still enjoyed ourselves! We came in a group and all rated above 5/10. One thing that surpass the food quality is the service there. All staffs were superb! Very attentive to clearing our tables or offering expensive meal to the table. They did not have to do that cause we can literally walk up to the buffet area but they took the extra effort to ask our experience and serve some foods to our table. It saves us time to walk up and more time to eat he he he. Oh and also, the ambience is nice! Feels very atas and a lot of aesthetic corners to take pictures.

Very nice hotel. The room was big with a large comfy bed. It was a well maintained and regularly cleaned to high standard. The room comes with most of the basic features and items you would need for your stay and the helpful and friendly staff are always on hand to help with anything you would need. The breakfast has a good selection and you can eat as must as you need The facilities are good and the hotel is located close to Orchard where you can find most things you would need

Hotel room is comfortable n clean. Friendly service. Breakfast is just good but not too luxurious. Only 2 things need improvement. Check in is very slow and at times waiting more than 20 minutes. Next. Hotel does not provide Razor. Make sure u buy outside or bring your own. This is the only premium Hotel I ever stay and have to buy Razor outside.

Excellent hotel in an ideal location, a very quick walk to the heart of Orchard Road, but far away enough to have some quiet! The whole process from check-in to check-out was perfect. The staff were friendly and efficient with check-in. When they found out I was there for a wedding anniversary with my wife, they sent a card and cake. While definitely not expected, its little touches like this which leave a lasting impression. I booked a deluxe room and it did not disappoint, clean comfortable room and the views from our room was quite photogenic. Did not try any of the restaurants, however, will not hesitate to book this again for future visits to Singapore.

Been staying here while visiting a friend who has moved out this way. Rooms Rooms are fine. No complaints. Good size, desk, chair, fridge, tv, etc. broadly what I would expect at price. Note that the difference between supreme and deluxe rooms is what floor you are on. Amenities Gym - 24h gym, fairly alright range of kit. Pool - nice pool, roughly 20m I would guess at & places to chill around the edge. Restaurants - I’ve not eaten here, but looks pretty great & is busy. Location You’re close to a crazy amount of shops if that is your thing, or the botanic gardens. Both of which are pretty remarkable. Good rail links with the Orchard Boulevard station literally 15 meters away.

The proximity of this hotel to the mrt is great. Rooms were comfortable and a good size. Staff were accommodating and food for breakfast was great. Noodle chef always had a happy hello. Concierge service was helpful. Would continue to stay here as it is reasonably priced.

Lovely hotel, had the greatest stay and I loved the service from the staff. The only downside is that the TV was rather temperamental as some channels just cut off at some times during the morning and evening which was frustrating when trying to relax. Showers was great, attentive room service staff. The bed was so comfortable and was able to sleep immediately and the blackout curtains helped a lot! Love the help from hotel staff to carry my luggage in and out of the hotel, and for storing my luggage when I went out on my final day. The other thing I also have to say is that the water from the cardboard cartons tasted a bit weird and woody. If it’s good enough for British Airways staff to stay, then it’s more than good enough for me. Location wise, it is away from Orchard Road itself but the MTR is just a minute walk so that’s good. Tanglin Mall has a supermarket on the bottom floor so ideal for buying some snacks, with Starbucks and 7-Eleven within reach as well. I would love to come back! 😊

Nice hotel a bit far from the main attractions so we needed a taxi. Got a room with our boy but when 3 in a room you need to use the King size beds. Extra beds are charged at over 100sgd a night. Room service was very good they brought water and extra pillow at 1130 pm.

We held our wedding at Hotel Jen Tanglin and had an amazing experience! Xinyi was very attentive and helped us from the start till the end. She promptly answered all our queries and kept us updated on what we had to do. The food was really good and all our guests enjoyed themselves. All the staff made sure everything went smoothly on the day itself. 10/10 will recommend 💯

Location is the thing. Checking in now can be done with machine. Cool... Robots everywhere... Standard for room with basic amenities. Bed, and pillow standard. Deco and ambience is authentic. Shower pressure can be slightly better. No bidet. 😅

After paying hefty 420 dollars per night was surprised to know that there’s no meat at breakfast. I was told that entire hotel is Halal even though hypocritically alcohol is being served (money is more important over Halal principles?) Cynically enough the signs “if you have any dietary request - please let us know” are placed all over the restaurant. But don’t be over optimistic. If your dietary request is bacon - they can’t help you (remember Halal with alcohol? They can’t earn money on pork so it’s haram, but since they can make profit with alcohol - it becomes Halal). And only Chef James walked an extra mile and offered me some nice beef instead. I’m very grateful to him for that. But overall service and cleanliness is nice. The rooms are a little too small for the price you pay.

Booked three rooms and noted that a guest is disabled and in a wheelchair. Got a note back to say that wheelchair accessible rooms ONLY HAVE BATHTUBS. I’d like to know how a disabled person will get into the bath tub. This is beyond foolishx. Cancelling promptly.

Stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks. Staff service was excellent, particularly the team in the Club Lounge led by Dastine. They really helped me out during my stay as I was recovering from surgery and their service was impeccable. Many thanks

I love this Hotel and the facilities as well as the location. It is right next to the Train station Orchard Blvd and Tanglin shopping mall. Transport is good, groceries and restaurants are right next to hotel, rooms are clean and this hotel has everything we need. Staff are friendly and very helpful, housekeeping too very helpful and keeps room clean. US Consulate, Australia High commission and British council are just 4 mins walk from the hotel. Buy Transportation card at 7/11 store in Tanglin Mall. Singapore best spot to stay.

I was really let down in terms of service and hospitality by this hotel and their management. The day prior to checkin in, I called up the property and asked them if they could give us an early check in as we were travelling with a 2 year old and I informed them we would be reaching by 8-8.30 am. They asked me to come to the hotel and gave me every assurance that they will do everything to get us the room. But, on reaching the hotel I was told that the rooms were all sold out and we would be getting our room only by 2 pm. If I had known this the day before, we would have just spent time at the airport itself enabling our child to sleep and we ourselves could have had some rest. Instead they made us wait in the hotel lobby coffee shop with our child sleeping on our laps for 3-4 hours after an overnight flight journey. The second incident which we faced at the property was again very insulting and unbecoming from a hospitality point of view. We overslept on one of the days and we ended up missing on the breakfast. So we bought some food from the Tanglin mall and we were just about to sit at the outdoor area between the mall and the hotel, where there are some tables arranged. At this point, a person who seems to have been a manager very rudely interrupted us and said that outside food is not allowed. I agree it’s the hotel policy and I have no problem abiding by it, but the manner in which he approached us and spoke to us was uncalled for and it’s not something that you expect from a hotel of this status. Singapore is one of the prime tourist destinations in Asia and if a hotel with such stellar reputation can’t even do guest hospitality at a decent level, I’m lost for words. I’m not expecting any hotel to be fault free and I can live with certain unfortunate mistakes or shortcomings. But, based on on our experience, they did fall short big time.

We stayed for 5 nights and we’re very comfortable. We stayed in a twin room with a view of the pool. The beds were comfortable, bathroom clean and the room air conditioning was really good. The hotel is located next to the Thomson East Coast Line, station 13. This is a good line to get to Orchard Road, Botanic Gardens and Marina Bay. We regularly caught the train. While we did not have breakfast at the hotel, it was very popular and had most of the food you would expect at a buffet.
