I had the best experience at this St. Regis. I had to travel for work during Valentines Day. My husband called the hotel to ask if there was a way he could have flowers and chocolate sent to my room. I had no idea. When I walked into my room, I had the most beautiful bouquet of flowers in my favorite colors. It was amazing. Highly recommend. The bathtubs are amazing, the pool is glorious, and the gym has a good amount of weights and other equipment.

Swimming pool was a letdown, but the room was amazing and up to my standards. The bathroom is the absolute best. Big, spacious and impeccable. Room service was superb as well - I did not encounter any delays and the food was to my liking. Portions were huge as well. 10/10 would stay again. The only con would be the walking distance to the main Orchard shopping belt.

I would expect more from one of the top brand in Marriott. I think the pandemic play a part and so there is clearer shortage of trained staff, which I can appreciate the situation. First of all, the hotel is nice and well maintained. I like the theme very well. Its not as nice as the newer St. Regis like one in Shanghai but not bad considering it’s age. However there is not enough thoughtfulness in the service. We are going into a suite as a family of 4, we are not setup with more towels, shampoo, toothbrush nor slippers. There are only 2 cups, 2 spoons, the cupboard of supplies are basically empty. Moving on to tea break. I ordered 4 sets, and 3 came with 2 set of cutlery. I followed up, the extra set of tea break came with no cutlery. Same experience at breakfast, 4 of us at the restaurant, 4 orders and only 2 arrived (2 of breakfast A was ordered but only 1 came), followed up twice, and 3 more breakfast showed up. We ended up receiving 5 breakfast and had to return 1. And, I do expect the food to be better (taste wise) at St. Regis. As for the hotel room itself, it’s not keeping up with the technology. There are bunch of complicated AV in the room which are difficult to connect, still on pay-per-view setup while the world is on Netflix, the only clock in the room was 30 minutes late, the light control is classic and complicated - you want the light in the room then you gotta switch off the toilet light just (oh god), and then there is no USB charging anywhere and the international power plug is restricted by the desk cover. Honestly expect better. Lastly. There is always staff-less at the entrance of the hotel. I have to wait for the valet to show up. In any other St. Regis I can recall, there is always someone who greet you to your door. Sorry, I wouldn’t recommend returning.

An overall very pleasant stay at the st Regis. Room was beautifully decorated with all necessary amenities and more. Welcome snacks and drinks were presented in the room. Staff was very professional and took care of all our special requests. Little details for the kids like teddy bears and cakes. Including a cake for my husband whose birthday we were celebrating. Spa was beautiful and again staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast and the food in the hotel was great. The whole experience was just very pleasant and it felt like a properly run luxury hotel. Worthy of 5 stars. Would definitely book there again. Also pricing was great as we booked a package which included hotel vouchers, breakfast, parking coupons etc. All in all a great deal for a luxury experience.

Fantastic service, consistent with the St. Regis brand. The staff at breakfast are extremely helpful and courtesous, as well as the chef himself who comes out to speak to the guests. The rooms are great and the location is just a stone throw away from Orchard Road shopping centers.

Excellent hotel. The service was impeccable. This is exactly what you expect from a 5* hotel. I was able to take an art tour, and the food is amazing! The alcohol is quite expensive, so I opted to purchase champagne at the airport duty free, and a fine bottle of gin at one of the many nearby malls. They do host weddings at this hotel, so the lobby can be noisy at times, which didn't bother me. However, it may be something to consider. I didn't utilize the pool much. It's very nice. However, it's more of a family-friendlt pool. There are mainly children in that area most times.

I went there for high tea. I did not stay in the hotel as a guest. The ambiance is very nice (as expected) with pompous decoration and relaxing environment. Staff was very helpful but could be a bit more attentive at the high tea section. The team looked under-staffed in terms of people that could actually tend to the customers. But an overall pleasant experience. It was pricey (as expected) but quite nice and the food was up to the standard of such hotel.

Overall good experiences. Pros: 1. Despite its 16 years operation, the facility and the room are still classy and luxurious. 2. Both bedroom and bathroom are spacious for a comfortable stay. Especially the bathroom are almost same size of other hotel rooms. 3. A little bit unfortunate the lounge does not exist anymore but the happy hour in Astor bar is a delight adding into the whole stay. Breakfast is in line with the standard. The omelette with caviar added extra points. Cons: 1. Elevator is way too old. You have to insert room card before you can press the button and the card reader seemed not to be very sensitive now. 2. It feels overcrowded in the lobby when there are meetings and weddings.

St Regis has fallen far from it's previous glory days as a valued brand names. We stayed before the brand was sold to Marriott and the experience is hugely different. 2 stars only because the view from the room is good and the location still good.

Ambassador review from March 2023. AMAZING property with great rooms and extremely welcoming and friendly staff. I was at the property for several nights and I wish I could have stayed longer. The artwork on the campus is simply stunning -- and Ramesh was kind enough to take me on a tour and provide me the background of ALL the pieces and why they were chosen. I will be forever grateful for his kindness as well as Tiara at reception. They were both amazing and I give them 10-stars. I believe I stayed in the Caroline Astor Suite, which was incredible. The Astor Bar and the breakfast buffet at the Brasserie were top-notch as well.

A fantastic experience through and through. Made a reservation during my anniversary for my partner and I. Thanks to the coordination done smoothly and in secrecy with the butler team (Wilbur and Santanam), my partner received the best surprise of the night and we really enjoyed the hospitality and the service provided by staff. Would definitely return in the future for more as the St Regis now holds a really high standard for me.

No truth in advertising. The gym is under renovation, but this is not disclosed prior to booking (they disclose that the spa is under renovation). Yet, zero flexibility, and consolation. We have 13 more days here. Need to schlep daily to a different hotel, to workout.

This is our fourth time staying at the hotel. The room cleaning is OK. There are only international sockets and no USB sockets in the room. There are no sockets next to the bed. There are not enough sockets overall. …Hope it can be added in the future. . The breakfast in the hotel is rich and there are some special meals you can order. . . The whole hotel feels OK, but only a few staff will say hello to you when they see guests. Compared to other hotels, I didn’t feel the sincere service Also, the welcome fruits on the table don’t feel so fresh as they have been there for many days. housekeeping staff to pay more attention to them. Ps: The spa is being renovated and the Chinese restaurant will be renovated soon.

St Regis was our wedding venue because we loved their Caroline’s Mansion ballroom that has high ceilings, beautiful arches on the wall and very modern, it’s not a stuffy ballroom. The food on our wedding day was good. Lots of praise from the guests. We had the Chinese menu. The freshness and quality was of high standards. We were also very happy that everything went smoothly during the wedding, and our coordinator Christine was meticulous and efficient in helping us plan our wedding. The best perk was having a wedding assistant that accompanies you throughout the event and mine was very courteous and helpful. We stayed at the St Regis suite which was very beautiful, well maintained and clean. The soft bed was like sleeping on clouds. There were some things we hope could have been better but overall really happy with the experience at St Regis.

Just attended wedding lunch here. Very beautiful hotel nice 5 star setting. Well managed and maintain hotel. Love the decor. Staff very attentive and good service quality. The tea was refill often. Nice quality service and Ambient nature if this hotel wedding reception. Vegetarian options available too. Food is of good standard. Only one dish a bit salty. Dessert a bit too sweet other wise all is okay. Standard wedding dinner.

It’s hard to pick anything specific when every aspect of a property conveys attention to detail. The staff are extremely helpful in every interaction. The property is luxurious and architecturally impressive. The South Asian art displayed throughout is compelling. The rooms are so well-appointed and elegant that it’s hard to think of another brand that compares. We enjoyed our stay and plan to visit other Properties with the St. Regis brand. Quite an upscale property in the Orchard Street neighborhood. Look nowhere else!

We stayed 2 nights and it is posh. But it is old school five-star - so they do it for you. With a butler per room and pretty interesting art. Perfect for work, they provide a press service and there was a pop-up restaurant (price wise was cheaper than the Mexican we tried). Breakfast was very expensive but looked good. The shower design meant that it leaked and we asked for a room tidy which they did immediately and very quickly. But it did not work for our family as we are noisy, messy and in a rush but can see it is perfect for adults who like things neat. Good old-school charm and luxury (fruit and chocolateson arrival). Nice to see it still exists

It was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I stayed for 1 night and just remained in my room all the time. It is also my first time in this luxury hotel by Marriott. It actually exceeded my expectations. Decor was impressive. Service was fast. Everybody’s efficient and friendly. In particular, I would like to mention Avril from the front desk. She was very professional and efficient. Will definitely return to this jewel of a hotel!

While my stay at St. Regis Singapore was excellent overall, I was slightly disappointed with the welcome amenities. As an elite member, I received an upgrade and warm reception, but the fruit basket in the room, with overripe grapes, left room for improvement. Nonetheless, the overall experience was fantastic.

Went for afternoon tea set. The food looked very nicely done, and there were soup and mousse dessert on top of the cales on the multi level tray. Sweet cakes and the scone were very nice. The salty food could be better especially the cake with the red dragon fruit tasted a bit odd. Very nice selection of tea. The St Regis Blend was good.

This location is great. Door men and concierge are wonderful. Everyone very friendly. However, I noticed hotels around here don’t do early check in or extended check outs. On another note pool is very relaxing and rooms are amazing. Very classy even elevators have seats.

Stunning and luxurious stay for the last night of our Honeymoon! Daisy at the front desk was so sweet and surprised us with an upgrade to a suite (even though we had just booked using bonvoy points). The room was also decorated, complete with chocolate covered strawberries and just beautiful! All staff were the most hospitable and we had an excellent breakfast the next morning. Chef Raj came over to check on my food allergies multiple times as well. Would highly recommend and would love to come back one day!

Spacious and well appointed rooms. Service is polite and efficient, staff are well trained. Breakfast buffet is above average in terms of spread and quality but atmosphere is busy and crowded though.

Would like to send my compliments to the St Regis staff for helping me plan my wedding proposal. They have been extremely helpful and went the extra mile to make sure my stay is a pleasant and memorable one. Greatest shout outs to Nicholas of the front desk for taking his time to show me the rooms. He was extremely patiently, helpful and very kind to share tips on how to get my proposal plan going. Also kudos to Edwin of the Cluster Reservations team for helping to arrange my pre-visit, and Fiona from Yan Ting Restaurant also for being extremely kind and diligent in helping me with my queries and reservations. With their help, the wedding proposal was a success and an extremely memorable one!

Top notch service as expected by this hotel. Staff are also really pleasant to speak with and their amenities are of what you expect when you are at a St. Regis hotel. I would rate this above the KL but below the Osaka St. Regis establishments mainly due to its aging rooms and their buffet breakfast isn't on par with their stature.

Excellent Hotel, rooms are big, house keeping pers are well mannered. Only sector they should improve is the menue of Buffet breakfast. Everyday almost similar types of food are displayed. Rest all are world class.

The check in process is terrible. They try to make it fancy by having you sit down at a desk. But that's not helpful when there's a line of 10 people. It sorely needs an upgrade. It was almost always too busy. Plan an extra 30 minutes or so to get checked in or out. Very expensive. Rooms are beautiful. Wifi is good but TV is not a smart TV so you're stuck with limited choices. There are very few power outlets in the rooms. Bring an extension cord...

Very disappointed- usually do not have bad hotel experiences in Singapore The main butler line is not always answered, most things I requested they told me we will get back to you or check and disappeared, I waited for very long for simple requests like bread or bringing up y pharmacy package and sometimes things never came The hotel lobby has a dining area which is completely unmanned and you have to go around other area to find someone to serve you The entrance - for a 5 star - was often also unmanned by service staff Bolognaise from room service tasted terrible and the spaghetti was shredded

We just completed 2N3D Staycation today, one word to describe "AWFUL". From the Check-in which took 45mins to every experience has been just to forget. Rooms - cozy and nice, nothing to rave about it. TV - Old type and can't play Netflix or any other OTT, can't mirror cast as well. Service - Extremely Bad Ordered Lunch @ 1pm and received at 3pm. Ordered Drinks @ 4;30pm and received @ 6:45pm Day 2, the room was not at all cleaned, even though DND was not on and we weren't in the room. We had to call few times and finally around 7pm it was done. All other hotels provide turn down service but not here... Breakfast is ordinary nothing great to talk about it, both the days staff got our orders wrong. Food, doesn't taste great and hefty price. Since the Lockdown in Mar'20, we have stayed in few properties of Marriott in SG(Westin, W, JW Marriott, Marriott Tang Plaza, Courtyard), I must say this was most pathetic experience. Surely St. Regis not calibrated to cater to needs of the guests during this period.

I like to dine in Drawing Room not just because of the delicious food more importantly the service quality by Ms Anne. She is very polite and attentive to our needs. I hope the hotel will help to express our gratitude to Ms Anne for perfecting our dining experience not once but always 💕

4/5 because a bowl of cereal with milk is $14. Oh and popcorn was $18. I honestly found it amusing. I mean seriously? St Regis needs to relook at their food and beverage pricing. I get that it’s a five star establishment but at that price it’s just ridiculous. That being said, the service was impeccable. Hats off to the staff because they really went above and beyond to make my stay a comfortable one. The rooms are breathtaking, marble everywhere, large bathtub and lots of space too. The facilities are great, they have a nice pool, gym and spa. Couple of bars/lounge areas and a few restaurants.

Excellent luxury hotel as a part of Marriott Chain. Very classy rooms and very good restaurants. Conveniently located at the start of orchard road and easily connected to the rest of town. Walking distance to orchard centre and several eateries and malls. Great staff and service overall. Has good family rooms. 2 minutes walk to Tanglin mall and has east access to bus and mrt. Nice pool and breakfast spread

It was a memorable anniversary staycation with The St Regis for my wife and I. From Shannon's welcome at the front desk to Dominic's service recovery at Les Saveurs for breakfast, the hotel is, in our humble opinion, a standard bearer of consistent and impeccable service. It really goes to show how well the hotel is run during such dreary times such as the pandemic has been. Bravo to Radu and all staff at The St Regis, you have made a celebration in the midst of this Covid-19 period so much more enjoyable and cheery. My wife and I are already looking forward to future stays.

Was here for a proposal. The suite booked was clean, neat and tidy. The view was nice and the service staffs were friendly, helpful and kind. Location was also 7 mins walk to the mrt which was alright for us. To be fair, it was a tad pricey but the quality of service was tip top. Would be back again for special occassions. Overall, it was a nice experience.

5-6 years ago, i loved staying at St Regis. It was clearly the best hotel in SG. Fast forward to now, i was horribly disappointed. The service by the staff, specially their butler service was really bad. It’s obvious that they were inexperienced interns or temps who weren’t properly trained. You need to repeat 2-3 times simple instructions and they still might not get it. The room was also not updated for years. The bed springs are old and bad for back. TV is also old. Doesnt even have netflix or youtube. I hope they update the hotel and train properly their staff versus penny pinching the guests. Specially for fhe high price per night.

We chose this hotel for its impeccable reputation. However, there was a conference going on and it was very crowded. The spa was under renovation so no spa. The gym was small. There is no place in the hotel to grab a quick snack or bite to eat other than the formal restaurant. So snacking off hours… is only room service or leaving hotel- We had to take transportation to the locations we wanted to visit. Please note: The staff was wonderful-

  • 2/5 Zane L. 2 years ago on Google
The hospitality experience was meh. The front desk personnel who checked me in didn't know about safe entry via token. She also made sure that I was aware of all the penalty charges, a tad too much. It was a surprise for a posh hotel to not have adequate hospitality training for the staffs. Another area that I found lacking was the inconsistency of their butler service. One time I was served by a butler who brought me a wrong order and when I asked her to clear away, she asked me why I didn't want it. To make matter worst, when I called in to tell about the wrong order, the butler showed hint of frustration. Fortunately, those were one time events but it was one time too many. The executive deluxe room was dated but nice and luxurious. The bath tub was the highlight of the stay. I was glad that they provided TWG teas in room and breakfast. The service staffs at the breakfast area were polite and professional and the foods selection was standard but limited. The foods were served to you.

Celebrated my husband birthday at St Regis. Appreciate the balloons and complimentary cake provided for the occassion. We really enjoyed our stay. Room is clean and spacious. Staycation for 2 adults with an infant. The room we got was spacious with a nice bath. The room was clean and had all the amenities needed. The 24hr butler service was an added perk. It is also infant friendly. For breakfast- the food selection was huge. I enjoyed the food but the service could be improved. We had to wait at least 10 minutes before we got a waitress take our order. The breakfast restaurant was packed. Other than that we enjoyed our stay at St Regis. It is walking distance to botanic garden, we walked here with baby on both days. In terms of price - it reasonable. We wouldn’t mind staying there again!

An excellent location for business meeting, lunches or wedding dinners. Service staff are all really attentive and helpful. Banquet dinner menu still holds it high quality throughout all the years - no doubt why it is still one of the more popular location for wedding banquets. Truly upholding their 6-stars hotel rating all around.

Beautiful and spacious rooms, love the location along Tanglin as it's quiet yet close to the city. Brought ice cream and the butler service was nice enough to help us keep it in their freezer and bring it up to our room when we wanted it. Would love to stay here again in the future.

It was our first staycation and everything was amazing! Perfect to celebrate your anniversary. Loved the touch of details, from the gorgeous petal flowers on the floor leading you to your super yum chocolate cake (free one). And just gorgeous on everything! From a room that makes you feel like a royal up to the tremendous service of all of the staff. P.S. don’t ever skip the superb breakfast :) Also, a perfect spot, easy to go for a nice wandering around and discover lovely restaurants. A must book hotel in the city for your family. Kudos to all the St.Regis team for top-notch service.Worth every penny! Definitely a highly recommended place.

Great Grand hotel, amazing setting and good architecture. Rooms are very dated on the lower floors with old and smelly carpets for a deluxe @700 USD a night. After making a complaint we got a free update to one of the upper floors with much better interior and design Good service with the help of the front desk staff and saving the stay after all

Stayed at St Regis for a birthday celebration. Service was great, and the room was one of the nicest and most comfortable hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. I don't think the furniture looked dated - if you're not partial to this style, there are lots of other hotels with more modern furnishing. Had to minus one star for the breakfast. It was not up to 5 star standards at all and I had an upset stomach after eating breakfast.

Stayed twice this year. It was a really great experience at St Regis. Loved the butler service where I can order hot and iced beverages. Rooms were also huge. Furnishings were a little dated but bed was really comfortable. Room service was delicious. Do recommend their truffle fries!

Second time visiting the St Regis Singapore. Honestly don’t have anything to complain! Very professional staff, excellent facilities (room upgrade, pool, spa, lounge, everything you need for a staycation). Must try: the breakfast is amazing, make sure to go early so you don’t miss the last order. One small thing: we had to wait for quite some time in the Aston Bar for the food we ordered. Other than that, everything is perfect.

I have to give St. Regis a 5 stars for my stay there. Every aspect of this stay is exemplary of what a 5 stars hotel should be like from checking in, dining, room services, the lounge and checking out. The staffs are warm, helpful and very professional. I would like to especially thanks the front desk manager Syikin, the staffs at the French Restaurant and Astor Bar for making my daughter's and wife's birthday an exceptionally memorable one. To make this a fair and unbiased feedback, I have to state one small problem which is the location, which doesn't pose a problem to me - It's not right in the middle of Orchard road. But if you choose the room properly, you will have a great view of Singapore Botanical garden, which is nice 8). So still 5 stars.

would be great to have some beverages or small snacks in the fridge. the room amenities seemed dated for a 5 star hotel. butler service was prompt and pleasant.

We didn’t want to give one star- but it’s the only option. We had 5 rooms - the experience was the worst ever. We have stayed at the St Regis in other locations, this was terrible. The service is not even worthy of being rated - it took an hour if not more to get coffee. The food ordered in, in room dining - please don’t ever order the pizza or the pita with hummus. The food is truly terrible. Breakfast is lousy. The only saving grace was housekeeping. Please do something to improve the standards. This is coming from someone who is a well wished.

It was amazing experience in St Regis! Very pleasant stay, especially butler service is exceptional and impressed! Butler Wilbur took care of our kids giving them the art tour for 45min(kids love him and such a fantastic time), also Butler Yuni is such an amazing person and impressed by heartfelt service!! The best assets in St Regis is the service and people! Thanks for wonderful experience during stay!

Overall good experience. Rooms are excellent. Service could be better, although personal butler is available. Bags were left outside for 7 hours as we had to leave immediately for our tour. There are limited personnel at reception. There is no easy way to contact reception. Indian food and vegetarian options should be more.

Luxurious 5 star hotel in beautiful Singapore. All the amenities you would expect including excellent service. Check in was quick and easy. I stayed in a corner suite that included a butler service. Breakfast had many choices and options for different dietary needs. Getting around was easy via taxi or Grab.

Worst customer service experience I have ever experienced in my entire life traveling the world. Terrible management. My wife and I booked a stay here for the last night of our honeymoon. When we went to the desk to check in, they said they couldn’t find the reservation. We provided a confirmation email with proof of our reservation with the correct dates, confirmation number, and proof of payment. We provided them with everything they could possibly need. After one hour of us patiently waiting, they said they still couldn’t find the reservation. The representatives and management provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Zero accountability and zero ownership for their mistake. Management did not even bother to come speak to us to help resolve the issue. They tried to turn us away. I experienced racial profiling twice in one week at the Singapore airport. I wonder if racial profiling was the reasoning for the terrible experience we had here. Instead of putting us in another room while they worked to resolve their mistake and system issue, they wanted to make us wait in the lobby. 5 star hotel? That’s a joke. I have had better customer service experiences at 3 star hotels. I will never again step foot in a St. Regis Hotel. Four Seasons and Ritz will get my business moving forward as they know how to treat their guests with dignity and respect.

Had an amazing stay! Check in & out was done by Nicholas. Professional, friendly & easygoing. Butler service was top notch. In-room dining (we had lunch & dinner) food was impeccable. One small thing to note is that level 20 (we were in Penthouse room) has a weird musty smell... but otherwise, fautless stay. 100% will come back again!!

Our experience with this hotel was amazing! The breakfast is one of the best I’ve had ! The butler services are amazing , you can order coffee in bed every morning and more. Every night they get your room ready to sleep. Every thing is thought of and it’s the little things that makes this place so welcoming and beautiful. The hotel is located in the center of Singapore so getting every where around is really easy and close by. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel can’t wait to come back. Very recommend.

If you aren't posh and want to pretend you are this is a great place to go. It looks like a palace inside, with ornate furnishings, and the service is good, and actually the pool is very nice for the couple of hours that it gets sun, but the hotel is missing some basics, like a club lounge and even charging points for your phone in the room.

Thank you so much to the concierge (uncle with glasses and moustache- sorry didn’t manage to get your name)! He was very prompt, friendly and gave me the directions too! He pays attention to detail! Top notch service! Thank you! I was the one that came with black car just now ( around 9+ pm). He was also the one at the concierge last evening when I dropped off something for my dad’s friend :)
