I
would
expect
more
from
one
of
the
top
brand
in
Marriott.
I
think
the
pandemic
play
a
part
and
so
there
is
clearer
shortage
of
trained
staff,
which
I
can
appreciate
the
situation.
First
of
all,
the
hotel
is
nice
and
well
maintained.
I
like
the
theme
very
well.
Its
not
as
nice
as
the
newer
St.
Regis
like
one
in
Shanghai
but
not
bad
considering
it’s
age.
However
there
is
not
enough
thoughtfulness
in
the
service.
We
are
going
into
a
suite
as
a
family
of
4,
we
are
not
setup
with
more
towels,
shampoo,
toothbrush
nor
slippers.
There
are
only
2
cups,
2
spoons,
the
cupboard
of
supplies
are
basically
empty.
Moving
on
to
tea
break.
I
ordered
4
sets,
and
3
came
with
2
set
of
cutlery.
I
followed
up,
the
extra
set
of
tea
break
came
with
no
cutlery.
Same
experience
at
breakfast,
4
of
us
at
the
restaurant,
4
orders
and
only
2
arrived
(2
of
breakfast
A
was
ordered
but
only
1
came),
followed
up
twice,
and
3
more
breakfast
showed
up.
We
ended
up
receiving
5
breakfast
and
had
to
return
1.
And,
I
do
expect
the
food
to
be
better
(taste
wise)
at
St.
Regis.
As
for
the
hotel
room
itself,
it’s
not
keeping
up
with
the
technology.
There
are
bunch
of
complicated
AV
in
the
room
which
are
difficult
to
connect,
still
on
pay-per-view
setup
while
the
world
is
on
Netflix,
the
only
clock
in
the
room
was
30
minutes
late,
the
light
control
is
classic
and
complicated
-
you
want
the
light
in
the
room
then
you
gotta
switch
off
the
toilet
light
just
(oh
god),
and
then
there
is
no
USB
charging
anywhere
and
the
international
power
plug
is
restricted
by
the
desk
cover.
Honestly
expect
better.
Lastly.
There
is
always
staff-less
at
the
entrance
of
the
hotel.
I
have
to
wait
for
the
valet
to
show
up.
In
any
other
St.
Regis
I
can
recall,
there
is
always
someone
who
greet
you
to
your
door.
Sorry,
I
wouldn’t
recommend
returning.
