Unbeatable location and great views! You are right in the heart of Clarke Quay, a buzzing riverside district of bars, restaurants and clubs that is full of vibrancy. The hotel is clean and has an updated reception. It is located next to a small shopping mall and has a 7 Eleven downstairs for 24 hour snacks/toiletries etc. The rooms are a good size, and I certainly advise asking for a room that overlooks the city side as the views are outstanding! Good value place, the gym is a tad small but wasn’t busy when I went. I didn’t use the pool, but I’m sure it would be a good way to cool off after the heat of the day.

The view was great. The rooms were spacious but seems pretty dated. We needed to sign a waiver to have access to the balcony which is fine and understandable. But we didnt get why we were asked to sign a waiver everyday. The housekeeping ladies were only able to speak in mandarin, hence we had difficulty getting our points across.

Great location, room is spacious, bathroom is nice and the shower has amazing water pressure. Beautiful views as well. However, it's a very dated building, and the carpets are old and grotty. The internet is slow and it just feels old. Much different than the photos online. We had great experience with the customer service. They responded to our internal survey immediately, and while they didnt improve our requests we appreciated the process to reach out and attempt to rectify. Probably won't stay here again.

Hotel is right next to the Fort Canning MRT - downtown line and attached to a shopping mall with a shopping centre on basement floor. Other entrance is on the river and very close to food and night life. Room amenities are the reason for the 4stars. The shower has 2 heads which is awesome. One is directly above and the other can be hand held. There was a bathroom in both rooms we booked. Balcony is locked for safety unless you call for someone to open it. There is a kettle, two mugs and two glasses, a mini fridge and a safe. But the hotel doesn't offer a toaster or other crockery like little plates or anything else. Rooms are a little bit old and have probably seen a lot better days. Great area and the hotel facilities are pretty good. Buffet breakfast is available on the 7th floor and a swimming pool is accessible from the end of the dining area or alternatively from level 6. Staff were really friendly and accommodating to us, especially the concierge on ground floor who helped us with our bags. Made sure to set our cot up for us upon arrival and we were able to check in early. We would stay definitely here again.

I went there recently for a professional event. The signages were clear and I was able to locate the venue easily. The service personnel were polite and friendly. The buffet dinner had many varieties of food. Items that had little left were quickly replenished. Temperature in the function rooms was comfortable, not too cold like some other hotels. Good!

It was a smooth experience from check-in to check-out - But the rain shower tap can easily come off and water pressure is unpredictable..

Staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The hotel itself is older, decor slightly dated but still functional and has everything we needed. We stayed on 21st floor which gave us access to the lounge. It was worthwhile paying the extra as evening canapés were nice and good variety of drinks available. Location was fabulous and close to restaurants and activities generally within walking distance. I got a special deal on room by waiting for a good sale before booking. This hotel in comparison with other newer hotels was good value for money.

Room was a great size which accommodated our family of 5. Bathroom was very spacious and great to have a bath and also a shower with young children. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. They were always on hand for anything we needed and some remembered us the following day. It was easy to get to and from via taxi or walking. When we left something at the hotel I called them, the staff located the item and then called us back so we could collect it. The pool was great for us and the buffet breakfast was also excellent, with gluten free bread available for our daughter. I would recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Customer service was generally very good. Response was inconsistent, possibly due to high guest capacity (but this should not be an excuse). I was especially happy that with a young family I was given our room several hours earlier than staff would generally release. That was a great and kind gesture. The room was tired, bed comfortable but awful pillows, lighting system was faulty and Entertainment system archaic - I expected more for a 'premier' room. Overall, a satisfactory visit and a neutral rating regards recommending this hotel as a place to stay.

We will never stay at this hotel again. Rooms were both dusty and bathrooms smelled badly of mildew/mold. Mold growing on bathroom walls. AC intake was in bathroom so all mildew smell permeated whole room. We tried 3 suites in this hotel and all had the same problems. Housekeeping did not clean any of the rooms properly either: mountains of dust balls and gross stuff growing under the beds. We left coughing and sick from all the dust and mildew. Advertised as having balconies but there were no balconies in the suites. Service and staff were friendly and helpful, so that is a plus.

This place looks quite worn out and dated. The furnishings and room smell old and I feel the whole place needs to be aired! The service was polite and efficient. The suppliers of the meat are halal certified but the kitchen is not designed to segregate between non-halal and halal. The hotel is being torn down and another complex being built on the site....location is excellent.

This hotel has a killer location right on top of the Clarke Quay river walk, the rooms are spacious and well equipped. The internet is fast & the food is generally good. The premier lounge has great views of the Marina Bay Sands and the river. The only thing I didn't like was the noise level, there seems to be a problem with noise isolation in the rooms, I could hear my neighbor's morning showers quite clearly.

Most things were very good. The food was superb, especially the extensive breakfast buffet. Staff members were very nice and very well trained in the hospitality industry. They were most helpful whenever we had some little request. The lack of a hand shower/bidet shower in the toilets is a major deficiency. There are a lot of Asians who patronize the hotel and they would like this facility.

The hotel stay was nice. I like that the hotel provide the "Handy" mobile phone that has data provided inside. I also like that the light switches, clock and aircon controller are easily accessible from the bed. I really enjoy staying within my hotel room, with the excellent tv channels provided. I also like that requests are responded promptly. Common hotel facilities were also excellent, such as the interactive games of the smart table at level 7 waiting area. It allow parents to keep their children entertained while waiting. Staffs during breakfast hours were also fast in clearing the plates from our table. I like that because it provide more space on our table. However, the breakfast variety was little and the food quality was acceptable only. As for the lift from level 7 to the rooms, they require a long waiting time during peak hours like at dinner hours. Overall, the staycation at Novotel Clarke Quay was enjoyable, except the minor issues experienced as described above.
